<평지수훈>

(눅 6:17-26, 개역) [[17] 예수께서 저희와 함께 내려오사 평지에 서시니 그 제자의 허다한 무리와 또 예수의 말씀도 듣고 병 고침을 얻으려고 유대 사방과 예루살렘과 및 두로와 시돈의 해안으로부터 온 많은 백성도 있더라 [18] 더러운 귀신에게 고난 받는 자들도 고침을 얻은지라 [19] 온 무리가 예수를 만지려고 힘쓰니 이는 능력이 예수께로 나서 모든 사람을 낫게 함이러라 [20] 예수께서 눈을 들어 제자들을 보시고 가라사대 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 하나님의 나라가 너희 것임이요 [21] 이제 주린 자는 복이 있나니 너희가 배부름을 얻을 것임이요 이제 우는 자는 복이 있나니 너희가 웃을 것임이요 [22] 인자를 인하여 사람들이 너희를 미워하며 멀리하고 욕하고 너희 이름을 악하다 하여 버릴 때에는 너희에게 복이 있도다 [23] 그 날에 기뻐하고 뛰놀라 하늘에서 너희 상이 큼이라 저희 조상들이 선지자들에게 이와 같이 하였느니라 [24] 그러나 화 있을진저 너희 부요한 자여 너희는 너희의 위로를 이미 받았도다 [25] 화 있을진저 너희 이제 배부른 자여 너희는 주리리로다 화 있을진저 너희 이제 웃는 자여 너희가 애통하며 울리로다 [26] 모든 사람이 너희를 칭찬하면 화가 있도다 저희 조상들이 거짓 선지자들에게 이와 같이 하였느니라]

(눅 6:17-26, NKJV) [[17] And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, [18] as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. [19] And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. [20] Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said： "Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God. [21] Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh. [22] Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake. [23] Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets. [24] "But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation. [25] Woe to you who are full, For you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep. [26] Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.]

 

오늘 본문은 예수님이 산에서 밤새 기도하시고 자신을 따르는 제자들 중에서 12 사도들을 택하여 부르신 다음에 평지에 내려왔을때 하신 말씀입니다. 어떤 사람들은 산상수훈과 같은 이야기라고 하지만 저는 산상수훈과는 다른 곳에서 전하신 말씀으로 봅니다.

예수님이 제자들과 함께 산에서 내려 오셨을 때 수많은 군중들이 예수님을 기다리고 있었습니다. 예수님은 귀신을 내어 쫓고 병자들을 고쳐 주셨습니다. 그러자 사람들은 예수님에게서 능력이 아노는 것을 깨닫고 예수님을 만지려고 달려들었습니다.

이것을 보시고 제자들에게 가르치신 말씀이 바로 평지수훈입니다.

모두 여덟가지입니다. 4가지는 복있는자에 관하여 말씀하셨고 4가지는 화있는자들에 관하여 말씀하였셨습니다. 마치 신명기의 복과 화의 말씀을 연상하게 됩니다.

(신 30:15-20, 개역) [[15] 보라 내가 오늘날 생명과 복과 사망과 화를 네 앞에 두었나니 [16] 곧 내가 오늘날 너를 명하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그 모든 길로 행하며 그 명령과 규례와 법도를 지키라 하는 것이라 그리하면 네가 생존하며 번성할 것이요 또 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 가서 얻을 땅에서 네게 복을 주실 것임이니라 [17] 그러나 네가 만일 마음을 돌이켜 듣지 아니하고 유혹을 받아서 다른 신들에게 절하고 그를 섬기면 [18] 내가 오늘날 너희에게 선언하노니 너희가 반드시 망할 것이라 너희가 요단을 건너가서 얻을 땅에서 너희의 날이 장구치 못할 것이니라 [19] 내가 오늘날 천지를 불러서 너희에게 증거를 삼노라 내가 생명과 사망과 복과 저주를 네 앞에 두었은즉 너와 네 자손이 살기 위하여 생명을 택하고 [20] 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그 말씀을 순종하며 또 그에게 부종하라 그는 네 생명이시요 네 장수시니 여호와께서 네 열조 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 주리라고 맹세하신 땅에 네가 거하리라]

(신 30:15-20, NKJV) [[15] "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, [16] "in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. [17] "But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, [18] "I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. [19] "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; [20] "that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."]

 

예수님을 만지려고 힘쓰는 자들은 은혜를 사모하는 자들이요 마음이 가난한 자들입니다. 그들은 모두 예수님의 능력을 체험하였습니다. 우리들도 이 시간에 주님의 임재하심과 능력사모하는 마음으로 말씀을 들음으로 주님을 체험하고 더욱 주님께 충성을 다하는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 축원합니다.

 

1. 가난한자는 복이있나니

(1) 죄인임을 아는 자입니다.

(눅 5:5-8, 개역) [[5] 시몬이 대답하여 가로되 선생이여 우리들이 밤이 맞도록 수고를 하였으되 얻은 것이 없지마는 말씀에 의지하여 내가 그물을 내리리이다 하고 [6] 그리한즉 고기를 에운 것이 심히 많아 그물이 찢어지는지라 [7] 이에 다른 배에 있는 동무를 손짓하여 와서 도와 달라 하니 저희가 와서 두 배에 채우매 잠기게 되었더라 [8] 시몬 베드로가 이를 보고 예수의 무릎 아래 엎드려 가로되 주여 나를 떠나소서 나는 죄인이로소이다 하니]

(눅 5:5-8, NKJV) [[5] But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." [6] And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. [7] So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. [8] When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!"]

 

(행 2:38, 개역) [베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 침례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니]

(행 2:38, NKJV) [Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.]

 

(2) 아무 것도 없음을 아는 자입니다.

(딤전 6:7-10, 개역) [[7] 우리가 세상에 아무 것도 가지고 온 것이 없으매 또한 아무 것도 가지고 가지 못하리니 [8] 우리가 먹을 것과 입을 것이 있은즉 족한 줄로 알 것이니라 [9] 부하려 하는 자들은 시험과 올무와 여러 가지 어리석고 해로운 정욕에 떨어지나니 곧 사람으로 침륜과 멸망에 빠지게 하는 것이라 [10] 돈을 사랑함이 일만 악의 뿌리가 되나니 이것을 사모하는 자들이 미혹을 받아 믿음에서 떠나 많은 근심으로써 자기를 찔렀도다]

(딤전 6:7-10, NKJV) [[7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. [9] But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.]

 

(3) 주님의 십자가 외에는 구원이 없음을 아는 자입니다.

(행 4:12, 개역) [다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라]

(행 4:12, NKJV) ["Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."]

 

(갈 2:20, 개역) [내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라]

(갈 2:20, NKJV) ["I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.]

 

(4) 주님만을 의지하는 자입니다.

(대하 16:9, 개역) [여호와의 눈은 온 땅을 두루 감찰하사 전심으로 자기에게 향하는 자를 위하여 능력을 베푸시나니 이 일은 왕이 망령되이 행하였은즉 이후부터는 왕에게 전쟁이 있으리이다 하매]

(대하 16:9, NKJV) ["For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."]

 

(대하 14:9-12, 개역) [[9] 구스 사람 세라가 저희를 치려하여 군사 백만과 병거 삼백 승을 거느리고 마레사에 이르매 [10] 아사가 마주 나아가서 마레사의 스바다 골짜기에 진치고 [11] 그 하나님 여호와께 부르짖어 가로되 여호와여 강한 자와 약한 자 사이에는 주 밖에 도와 줄 이가 없사오니 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리를 도우소서 우리가 주를 의지하오며 주의 이름을 의탁하옵고 이 많은 무리를 치러 왔나이다 여호와여 주는 우리 하나님이시오니 원컨대 사람으로 주를 이기지 못하게 하옵소서 하였더니 [12] 여호와께서 구스 사람을 아사와 유다 사람 앞에서 쳐서 패하게 하시니 구스 사람이 도망하는지라]

(대하 14:9-12, NKJV) [[9] Then Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to Mareshah. [10] So Asa went out against him, and they set the troops in battle array in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. [11] And Asa cried out to the LORD his God, and said, "LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O LORD our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!" [12] So the LORD struck the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.]

 

(5) 주님을 위하여 다 버린 자입니다.

(마 4:18-22, 개역) [[18] 갈릴리 해변에 다니시다가 두 형제 곧 베드로라 하는 시몬과 그 형제 안드레가 바다에 그물 던지는 것을 보시니 저희는 어부라 [19] 말씀하시되 나를 따라 오너라 내가 너희로 사람을 낚는 어부가 되게 하리라 하시니 [20] 저희가 곧 그물을 버려 두고 예수를 좇으니라 [21] 거기서 더 가시다가 다른 두 형제 곧 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그 형제 요한이 그 부친 세베대와 한가지로 배에서 그물 깁는 것을 보시고 부르시니 [22] 저희가 곧 배와 부친을 버려두고 예수를 좇으니라]

(마 4:18-22, NKJV) [[18] And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. [19] Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." [20] They immediately left their nets and followed Him. [21] Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, [22] and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.]

 

(빌 3:8, 개역) [또한 모든 것을 해로 여김은 내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상함을 인함이라 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻고]

(빌 3:8, NKJV) [Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ]

 

(6) 세상욕심을 다 버린 자입니다.

(갈 5:24, 개역) [그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라]

(갈 5:24, NKJV) [And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.]

 

(7) 천국을 얻습니다.

(마 5:3, 개역) [심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 저희 것임이요]

(마 5:3, NKJV) ["Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.]

 

주님이 심령을 주장하시고 천국이 임합니다.

자유함과 기쁨입니다.

주님의 마음이 임합니다.

평화와 사랑입니다.

 

2. 배고픈자는 복이 있습니다.

(1) 진리에 배고픈 자들입니다.

(요 8:31-32, 개역) [[31] 그러므로 예수께서 자기를 믿은 유대인들에게 이르시되 너희가 내 말에 거하면 참 내 제자가 되고 [32] 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라]

(요 8:31-32, NKJV) [[31] Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. [32] "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."]

 

(2) 주님 얼굴을 사모하는 자들입니다.

(시 27:4, 개역) [내가 여호와께 청하였던 한 가지 일 곧 그것을 구하리니 곧 나로 내 생전에 여호와의 집에 거하여 여호와의 아름다움을 앙망하며 그 전에서 사모하게 하실 것이라]

(시 27:4, NKJV) [One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek： That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.]

 

(3) 천국을 사모합니다.

(벧후 3:11-13, 개역) [[11] 이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하뇨 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로 [12] 하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라 그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와 [13] 우리는 그의 약속대로 의의 거하는 바 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다]

(벧후 3:11-13, NKJV) [[11] Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, [12] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? [13] Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.]

 

(4) 주님 다시 오심을 사모합니다.

(계 22:20-21, 개역) [[20] 이것들을 증거하신 이가 가라사대 내가 진실로 속히 오리라 하시거늘 아멘 주 예수여 오시옵소서 [21] 주 예수의 은혜가 모든 자들에게 있을지어다 아멘]

(계 22:20-21, NKJV) [[20] He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! [21] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]

 

(살전 1:8-10, 개역) [[8] 주의 말씀이 너희에게로부터 마게도냐와 아가야에만 들릴 뿐 아니라 하나님을 향하는 너희 믿음의 소문이 각처에 퍼지므로 우리는 아무 말도 할 것이 없노라 [9] 저희가 우리에 대하여 스스로 고하기를 우리가 어떻게 너희 가운데 들어간 것과 너희가 어떻게 우상을 버리고 하나님께로 돌아와서 사시고 참되신 하나님을 섬기며 [10] 또 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리신 그의 아들이 하늘로부터 강림하심을 기다린다고 말하니 이는 장래 노하심에서 우리를 건지시는 예수시니라]

Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. (5) 말씀을 사모합니다.

(시 119:97, 개역) [내가 주의 법을 어찌 그리 사랑하는지요 내가 그것을 종일 묵상하나이다]

(시 119:127, 개역) [그러므로 내가 주의 계명을 금 곧 정금보다 더 사랑하나이다]

(6) 주님의 임재하심에 배고픕니다.

(시 42:1-3, 개역) [[1] [고라 자손의 마스길, 영장으로 한 노래] 하나님이여 사슴이 시냇물을 찾기에 갈급함 같이 내 영혼이 주를 찾기에 갈급하니이다 [2] 내 영혼이 하나님 곧 생존하시는 하나님을 갈망하나니 내가 어느 때에 나아가서 하나님 앞에 뵈올꼬 [3] 사람들이 종일 나더러 하는 말이 네 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 하니 내 눈물이 주야로 내 음식이 되었도다]

(시 42:1-3, NKJV) [[1] To the Chief Musician. A Contmeplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. [2] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? [3] My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, "Where is your God?"]

(7) 주님 만이 우리를 배부르게 하십니다.

(요 4:13-14, 개역) [[13] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 이 물을 먹는 자마다 다시 목마르려니와 [14] 내가 주는 물을 먹는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 나의 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라]

(요 4:13-14, NKJV) [[13] Jesus answered and said to her, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, [14] 'but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."]

 

(요 7:38, 개역) [나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나리라 하시니]

(고후 6:8-10, 개역) [[8] 영광과 욕됨으로 말미암으며 악한 이름과 아름다운 이름으로 말미암으며 속이는 자 같으나 참되고 [9] 무명한 자 같으나 유명한 자요 죽는 자 같으나 보라 우리가 살고 징계를 받는 자 같으나 죽임을 당하지 아니하고 [10] 근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다]

3. 우는자는 복이 있습니다.

(1) 지옥에 가는 자들의 영혼이 불쌍합니다.

(계 20:11-15, 개역) [[11] 또 내가 크고 흰 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 자를 보니 땅과 하늘이 그 앞에서 피하여 간 데 없더라 [12] 또 내가 보니 죽은 자들이 무론대소하고 그 보좌 앞에 섰는데 책들이 펴 있고 또 다른 책이 펴졌으니 곧 생명책이라 죽은 자들이 자기 행위를 따라 책들에 기록된 대로 심판을 받으니 [13] 바다가 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주고 또 사망과 음부도 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주매 각 사람이 자기의 행위대로 심판을 받고 [14] 사망과 음부도 불못에 던지우니 이것은 둘째 사망 곧 불못이라 [15] 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던지우더라]

(계 20:11-15, NKJV) [[11] Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. [13] The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. [14] Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.]

 

(마 25:41, 개역) [또 왼편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 저주를 받은 자들아 나를 떠나 마귀와 그 사자들을 위하여 예비된 영영한 불에 들어가라]

(2) 이 세상에서 고생하는 인간들이 불쌍합니다.

(마 11:28, 개역) [수고하고 무거운 짐진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라]

(마 11:28, NKJV) ["Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.]

 

(롬 8:18-25, 개역) [[18] 생각건대 현재의 고난은 장차 우리에게 나타날 영광과 족히 비교할 수 없도다 [19] 피조물의 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들의 나타나는 것이니 [20] 피조물이 허무한 데 굴복하는 것은 자기 뜻이 아니요 오직 굴복케 하시는 이로 말미암음이라 [21] 그 바라는 것은 피조물도 썩어짐의 종노릇한 데서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에 이르는 것이니라 [22] 피조물이 다 이제까지 함께 탄식하며 함께 고통하는 것을 우리가 아나니 [23] 이뿐 아니라 또한 우리 곧 성령의 처음 익은 열매를 받은 우리까지도 속으로 탄식하여 양자 될 것 곧 우리 몸의 구속을 기다리느니라 [24] 우리가 소망으로 구원을 얻었으매 보이는 소망이 소망이 아니니 보는 것을 누가 바라리요 [25] 만일 우리가 보지 못하는 것을 바라면 참음으로 기다릴지니라]

[19] For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. (3) 세상의 헛됨을 알고 있습니다.

(전 1:1-7, 개역) [[1] 다윗의 아들 예루살렘 왕 전도자의 말씀이라 [2] 전도자가 가로되 헛되고 헛되며 헛되고 헛되니 모든 것이 헛되도다 [3] 사람이 해 아래서 수고하는 모든 수고가 자기에게 무엇이 유익한고 [4] 한 세대는 가고 한 세대는 오되 땅은 영원히 있도다 [5] 해는 떴다가 지며 그 떴던 곳으로 빨리 돌아가고 [6] 바람은 남으로 불다가 북으로 돌이키며 이리 돌며 저리 돌아 불던 곳으로 돌아가고 [7] 모든 강물은 다 바다로 흐르되 바다를 채우지 못하며 어느 곳으로 흐르든지 그리로 연하여 흐르느니라]

(전 1:1-7, NKJV) [[1] The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. [2] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." (시 90:1-6, NKJV) [[1] A Prayer of Moses the man of God. LORD, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. [2] Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. (4) 진리를 알지 못하기에 안타깝습니다.

(계 5:1-6, 개역) [[1] 내가 보매 보좌에 앉으신 이의 오른손에 책이 있으니 안팎으로 썼고 일곱 인으로 봉하였더라 [2] 또 보매 힘있는 천사가 큰 음성으로 외치기를 누가 책을 펴며 그 인을 떼기에 합당하냐 하니 [3] 하늘 위에나 땅 위에나 땅 아래에 능히 책을 펴거나 보거나 할 이가 없더라 [4] 이 책을 펴거나 보거나 하기에 합당한 자가 보이지 않기로 내가 크게 울었더니 [5] 장로 중에 하나가 내게 말하되 울지 말라 유대 지파의 사자 다윗의 뿌리가 이기었으니 이 책과 그 일곱 인을 떼시리라 하더라 [6] 내가 또 보니 보좌와 네 생물과 장로들 사이에 어린 양이 섰는데 일찍 죽임을 당한 것 같더라 일곱 뿔과 일곱 눈이 있으니 이 눈은 온 땅에 보내심을 입은 하나님의 일곱 영이더라]

(5) 마귀에게 속아 믿지 않기에 안타깝습니다.

(고후 4:4-6, 개역) [[4] 그 중에 이 세상 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미케 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비취지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라 [5] 우리가 우리를 전파하는 것이 아니라 오직 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것과 또 예수를 위하여 우리가 너희의 종 된 것을 전파함이라 [6] 어두운 데서 빛이 비취리라 하시던 그 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 얼굴에 있는 하나님의 영광을 아는 빛을 우리 마음에 비취셨느니라]

(고후 4:4-6, NKJV) [[4] whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (6) 세상 심판과 영혼이 불쌍하기에 웁니다.

(애 1:15-16, 개역) [[15] 주께서 내 지경 안 모든 용사를 없는 것 같이 여기시고 성회를 모아 내 소년들을 부수심이여 처녀 유다를 술틀에 밟으셨도다 [16] 이를 인하여 내가 우니 내 눈에 눈물이 물 같이 흐름이여 나를 위로하여 내 영을 소성시킬 자가 멀리 떠났음이로다 원수들이 이기매 내 자녀들이 외롭도다]

(애 1:15-16, NKJV) [[15] "The Lord has trampled underfoot all my mighty men in my midst; He has called an assembly against me To crush my young men; The Lord trampled as in a winepress The virgin daughter of Judah. [16] "For these things I weep; My eye, my eye overflows with water; Because the comforter, who should restore my life, Is far from me. My children are desolate Because the enemy prevailed."]

 

(7) 주님의 은혜가 감사해서 웁니다.

(고전 15:10, 개역) [그러나 나의 나 된 것은 하나님의 은혜로 된 것이니 내게 주신 그의 은혜가 헛되지 아니하여 내가 모든 사도보다 더 많이 수고하였으나 내가 아니요 오직 나와 함께 하신 하나님의 은혜로라]

(고전 15:10, NKJV) [But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.]

 

(8) 복음을 핍박하는 자들 때문에 웁니다.

(빌 3:17-21, 개역) [[17] 형제들아 너희는 함께 나를 본받으라 또 우리로 본을 삼은 것 같이 그대로 행하는 자들을 보이라 [18] 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라 [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라]

(빌 3:17-21, NKJV) [[17] Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. (8) 천국의 위로하심과 기쁨을 주십니다.

(계 7:13-17, 개역) [[13] 장로 중에 하나가 응답하여 내게 이르되 이 흰 옷 입은 자들이 누구며 또 어디서 왔느뇨 [14] 내가 가로되 내 주여 당신이 알리이다 하니 그가 나더러 이르되 이는 큰 환난에서 나오는 자들인데 어린 양의 피에 그 옷을 씻어 희게 하였느니라 [15] 그러므로 그들이 하나님의 보좌 앞에 있고 또 그의 성전에서 밤낮 하나님을 섬기매 보좌에 앉으신 이가 그들 위에 장막을 치시리니 [16] 저희가 다시 주리지도 아니하며 목마르지도 아니하고 해나 아무 뜨거운 기운에 상하지 아니할지니 [17] 이는 보좌 가운데 계신 어린 양이 저희의 목자가 되사 생명수 샘으로 인도하시고 하나님께서 저희 눈에서 모든 눈물을 씻어 주실 것임이러라]

4. 주님의 이름으로 핍박을 받는자는 복이 있습니다.

(1) 세상이 성도들을 미워합니다.

(요 17:13-14, 개역) [[13] 지금 내가 아버지께로 가오니 내가 세상에서 이 말을 하옵는 것은 저희로 내 기쁨을 저희 안에 충만히 가지게 하려 함이니이다 [14] 내가 아버지의 말씀을 저희에게 주었사오매 세상이 저희를 미워하였사오니 이는 내가 세상에 속하지 아니함 같이 저희도 세상에 속하지 아니함을 인함이니이다]

(요 17:13-14, NKJV) [[13] "But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. [14] "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.]

 

(요 16:33, 개역) [이것을 너희에게 이름은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라 하시니라]

(요 16:33, NKJV) ["These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."]

 

(요 15:18-27, 개역) [[18] 세상이 너희를 미워하면 너희보다 먼저 나를 미워한 줄을 알라 [19] 너희가 세상에 속하였으면 세상이 자기의 것을 사랑할 터이나 너희는 세상에 속한 자가 아니요 도리어 세상에서 나의 택함을 입은 자인 고로 세상이 너희를 미워하느니라 [20] 내가 너희더러 종이 주인보다 더 크지 못하다 한 말을 기억하라 사람들이 나를 핍박하였은즉 너희도 핍박할 터이요 내 말을 지켰은즉 너희 말도 지킬 터이라 [21] 그러나 사람들이 내 이름을 인하여 이 모든 일을 너희에게 하리니 이는 나 보내신 이를 알지 못함이니라 [22] 내가 와서 저희에게 말하지 아니하였더면 죄가 없었으려니와 지금은 그 죄를 핑계할 수 없느니라 [23] 나를 미워하는 자는 또 내 아버지를 미워하느니라 [24] 내가 아무도 못한 일을 저희 중에서 하지 아니하였더면 저희가 죄 없었으려니와 지금은 저희가 나와 및 내 아버지를 보았고 또 미워하였도다 [25] 그러나 이는 저희 율법에 기록된 바 저희가 연고 없이 나를 미워하였다 한 말을 응하게 하려 함이니라 [26] 내가 아버지께로서 너희에게 보낼 보혜사 곧 아버지께로서 나오시는 진리의 성령이 오실 때에 그가 나를 증거하실 것이요 [27] 너희도 처음부터 나와 함께 있었으므로 증거하느니라]

(2) 세상을 사랑하기에 진리를 거부합니다.

(요 3:16-21, 개역) [[16] 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라 [17] 하나님이 그 아들을 세상에 보내신 것은 세상을 심판하려 하심이 아니요 저로 말미암아 세상이 구원을 받게 하려 하심이라 [18] 저를 믿는 자는 심판을 받지 아니하는 것이요 믿지 아니하는 자는 하나님의 독생자의 이름을 믿지 아니하므로 벌써 심판을 받은 것이니라 [19] 그 정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어두움을 더 사랑한 것이니라 [20] 악을 행하는 자마다 빛을 미워하여 빛으로 오지 아니하나니 이는 그 행위가 드러날까 함이요 [21] 진리를 쫓는 자는 빛으로 오나니 이는 그 행위가 하나님 안에서 행한 것임을 나타내려 함이라 하시니라]

(3) 예수님을 죽인 세상입니다.

(요 1:9-12, 개역) [[9] 참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람에게 비취는 빛이 있었나니 [10] 그가 세상에 계셨으며 세상은 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으되 세상이 그를 알지 못하였고 [11] 자기 땅에 오매 자기 백성이 영접지 아니하였으나 [12] 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니]

(요 1:9-12, NKJV) [[9] That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. [11] He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. [12] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name：]

(요일 2:15-17, 개역) [[15] 이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑치 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 속에 있지 아니하니 [16] 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라 [17] 이 세상도 그 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라]

(요일 2:15-17, NKJV) [[15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (4) 비방합니다.

(행 19:23-26, 개역) [[23] 그 때쯤 되어 이 도로 인하여 적지 않은 소동이 있었으니 [24] 즉 데메드리오라 하는 어떤 은장색이 아데미의 은감실을 만들어 직공들로 적지 않은 벌이를 하게 하더니 [25] 그가 그 직공들과 이러한 영업하는 자들을 모아 이르되 여러분도 알거니와 우리의 유족한 생활이 이 업에 있는데 [26] 이 바울이 에베소뿐 아니라 거의 아시아 전부를 통하여 허다한 사람을 권유하여 말하되 사람의 손으로 만든 것들은 신이 아니라 하니 이는 그대들도 보고 들은 것이라]

(행 19:23-26, NKJV) [[23] And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way. [24] For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. [25] He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said： "Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. [26] "Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands.]

 

(5) 감옥에 가두고 죽입니다.

(행 12:1-5, 개역) [[1] 그 때에 헤롯 왕이 손을 들어 교회 중 몇 사람을 해하려 하여 [2] 요한의 형제 야고보를 칼로 죽이니 [3] 유대인들이 이 일을 기뻐하는 것을 보고 베드로도 잡으려 할새 때는 무교절일이라 [4] 잡으매 옥에 가두어 군사 넷씩인 네 패에게 맡겨 지키고 유월절 후에 백성 앞에 끌어 내고자 하더라 [5] 이에 베드로는 옥에 갇혔고 교회는 그를 위하여 간절히 하나님께 빌더라]

(행 12:1-5, NKJV) [[1] Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. [2] Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. [3] And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. [4] So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. [5] Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.]

 

(6) 제자들은 많은 핍박을 받았습니다.

(행 16:19-26, 개역) [[19] 종의 주인들은 자기 이익의 소망이 끊어진 것을 보고 바울과 실라를 잡아가지고 저자로 관원들에게 끌어 갔다가 [20] 상관들 앞에 데리고 가서 말하되 이 사람들이 유대인인데 우리 성을 심히 요란케 하여 [21] 로마 사람인 우리가 받지도 못하고 행치도 못할 풍속을 전한다 하거늘 [22] 무리가 일제히 일어나 송사하니 상관들이 옷을 찢어 벗기고 매로 치라 하여 [23] 많이 친 후에 옥에 가두고 간수에게 분부하여 든든히 지키라 하니 [24] 그가 이러한 영을 받아 저희를 깊은 옥에 가두고 그 발을 착고에 든든히 채웠더니 [25] 밤중쯤 되어 바울과 실라가 기도하고 하나님을 찬미하매 죄수들이 듣더라 [26] 이에 홀연히 큰 지진이 나서 옥터가 움직이고 문이 곧 다 열리며 모든 사람의 매인 것이 다 벗어진지라]

(행 16:19-26, NKJV) [[19] But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities. [20] And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, "These men, being Jews, exceedingly trouble our city; [21] "and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe." [22] Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods. [23] And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. [24] Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. [25] But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. (7) 종말에는 적그리스도로 인한 환난이 있습니다.

(계 13:1-10, 개역) [[1] 내가 보니 바다에서 한 짐승이 나오는데 뿔이 열이요 머리가 일곱이라 그 뿔에는 열 면류관이 있고 그 머리들에는 참람한 이름들이 있더라 [2] 내가 본 짐승은 표범과 비슷하고 그 발은 곰의 발 같고 그 입은 사자의 입 같은데 용이 자기의 능력과 보좌와 큰 권세를 그에게 주었더라 [3] 그의 머리 하나가 상하여 죽게된 것 같더니 그 죽게 되었던 상처가 나으매 온 땅이 이상히 여겨 짐승을 따르고 [4] 용이 짐승에게 권세를 주므로 용에게 경배하며 짐승에게 경배하여 가로되 누가 이 짐승과 같으뇨 누가 능히 이로 더불어 싸우리요 하더라 [5] 또 짐승이 큰 말과 참람된 말하는 입을 받고 또 마흔두 달 일할 권세를 받으니라 [6] 짐승이 입을 벌려 하나님을 향하여 훼방하되 그의 이름과 그의 장막 곧 하늘에 거하는 자들을 훼방하더라 [7] 또 권세를 받아 성도들과 싸워 이기게 되고 각 족속과 백성과 방언과 나라를 다스리는 권세를 받으니 [8] 죽임을 당한 어린 양의 생명책에 창세 이후로 녹명되지 못하고 이 땅에 사는 자들은 다 짐승에게 경배하리라 [9] 누구든지 귀가 있거든 들을지어다 [10] 사로잡는 자는 사로잡힐 것이요 칼로 죽이는 자는 자기도 마땅히 칼에 죽으리니 성도들의 인내와 믿음이 여기 있느니라]

(계 13:1-10, NKJV) [[1] Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. [2] Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. [3] And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. [4] So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" [5] And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. [7] It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. [8] All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. [9] If anyone has an ear, let him hear. [10] He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.]

 

(8) 성도들의 환난은 오히려 구원의 표입니다.

(살후 1:3-9, 개역) [[3] 형제들아 우리가 너희를 위하여 항상 하나님께 감사할지니 이것이 당연함은 너희 믿음이 더욱 자라고 너희가 다 각기 서로 사랑함이 풍성함이며 [4] 그리고 너희의 참는 모든 핍박과 환난 중에서 너희 인내와 믿음을 인하여 하나님의 여러 교회에서 우리가 친히 자랑함이라 [5] 이는 하나님의 공의로운 심판의 표요 너희로 하여금 하나님의 나라에 합당한 자로 여기심을 얻게 하려 함이니 그 나라를 위하여 너희가 또한 고난을 받으리니 [6] 너희로 환난 받게 하는 자들에게는 환난으로 갚으시고 [7] 환난 받는 너희에게는 우리와 함께 안식으로 갚으시는 것이 하나님의 공의시니 주 예수께서 저의 능력의 천사들과 함께 하늘로부터 불꽃 중에 나타나실 때에 [8] 하나님을 모르는 자들과 우리 주 예수의 복음을 복종치 않는 자들에게 형벌을 주시리니 [9] 이런 자들이 주의 얼굴과 그의 힘의 영광을 떠나 영원한 멸망의 형벌을 받으리로다]

(살후 1:3-9, NKJV) [[3] We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, [4] so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, [5] which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; [6] since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, [7] and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, [8] in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,]

 

(9) 참선지자들은 모두 핍박을 받았습니다.

(히 11:32-40, 개역) [[32] 내가 무슨 말을 더 하리요 기드온, 바락, 삼손, 입다와 다윗과 사무엘과 및 선지자들의 일을 말하려면 내게 시간이 부족하리로다 [33] 저희가 믿음으로 나라들을 이기기도 하며 의를 행하기도 하며 약속을 받기도 하며 사자들의 입을 막기도 하며 [34] 불의 세력을 멸하기도 하며 칼날을 피하기도 하며 연약한 가운데서 강하게 되기도 하며 전쟁에 용맹되어 이방 사람들의 진을 물리치기도 하며 [35] 여자들은 자기의 죽은 자를 부활로 받기도 하며 또 어떤 이들은 더 좋은 부활을 얻고자 하여 악형을 받되 구차히 면하지 아니하였으며 [36] 또 어떤 이들은 희롱과 채찍질뿐 아니라 결박과 옥에 갇히는 시험도 받았으며 [37] 돌로 치는 것과 톱으로 켜는 것과 시험과 칼에 죽는 것을 당하고 양과 염소의 가죽을 입고 유리하여 궁핍과 환난과 학대를 받았으니 [38] (이런 사람은 세상이 감당치 못하도다) 저희가 광야와 산중과 암혈과 토굴에 유리하였느니라 [39] 이 사람들이 다 믿음으로 말미암아 증거를 받았으나 약속을 받지 못하였으니 [40] 이는 하나님이 우리를 위하여 더 좋은 것을 예비하셨은즉 우리가 아니면 저희로 온전함을 이루지 못하게 하려 하심이니라]

(히 11:32-40, NKJV) [[32] And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets： [33] who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, [34] quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. [35] Women received their dead raised to life again. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. [36] Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. [37] They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. (10) 하늘의 상급이 있습니다.

(계 2:10, 개역) [네가 장차 받을 고난을 두려워 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데서 몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가 죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 면류관을 네게 주리라]

(계 2:10, NKJV) ["Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.]

 

(딤후 4:7-8, 개역) [[7] 내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니 [8] 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이니 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게니라]

(딤후 4:7-8, NKJV) [[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.]

 

5. 이제 부요한자는 화가 있습니다.

(1) 위로를 이미 받은 자들입니다.

천국의 상급을 이 세상에서 미리 받은 자들입니다.

 

(2) 어리석은 부자의 비유입니다.

(눅 12:16-21, 개역) [[16] 또 비유로 저희에게 일러 가라사대 한 부자가 그 밭에 소출이 풍성하매 [17] 심중에 생각하여 가로되 내가 곡식 쌓아 둘 곳이 없으니 어찌할꼬 하고 [18] 또 가로되 내가 이렇게 하리라 내 곡간을 헐고 더 크게 짓고 내 모든 곡식과 물건을 거기 쌓아 두리라 [19] 또 내가 내 영혼에게 이르되 영혼아 여러 해 쓸 물건을 많이 쌓아 두었으니 평안히 쉬고 먹고 마시고 즐거워하자 하리라 하되 [20] 하나님은 이르시되 어리석은 자여 오늘 밤에 네 영혼을 도로 찾으리니 그러면 네 예비한 것이 뉘 것이 되겠느냐 하셨으니 [21] 자기를 위하여 재물을 쌓아 두고 하나님께 대하여 부요치 못한 자가 이와 같으니라]

(눅 12:16-21, NKJV) [[16] Then He spoke a parable to them, saying： "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. [17] "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?' [18] "So he said, 'I will do this： I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. [19] 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."' [20] "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' [21] "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."]

 

(3) 라오디게아 교회

(계 3:17-21, 개역) [[17] 네가 말하기를 나는 부자라 부요하여 부족한 것이 없다 하나 네 곤고한 것과 가련한 것과 가난한 것과 눈 먼 것과 벌거벗은 것을 알지 못하도다 [18] 내가 너를 권하노니 내게서 불로 연단한 금을 사서 부요하게 하고 흰 옷을 사서 입어 벌거벗은 수치를 보이지 않게 하고 안약을 사서 눈에 발라 보게 하라 [19] 무릇 내가 사랑하는 자를 책망하여 징계하노니 그러므로 네가 열심을 내라 회개하라 [20] 볼지어다 내가 문 밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그로 더불어 먹고 그는 나로 더불어 먹으리라 [21] 이기는 그에게는 내가 내 보좌에 함께 앉게 하여 주기를 내가 이기고 아버지 보좌에 함께 앉은 것과 같이 하리라]

(계 3:17-21, NKJV) [[17] "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-- [18] "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. [19] "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. [20] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. [21] "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.]

 

(4) 바리새인들의 교만

(마 23:25-28, 개역) [[25] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하되 그 안에는 탐욕과 방탕으로 가득하게 하는도다 [26] 소경된 바리새인아 너는 먼저 안을 깨끗이 하라 그리하면 겉도 깨끗하리라 [27] 화 있을진저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여 회칠한 무덤 같으니 겉으로는 아름답게 보이나 그 안에는 죽은 사람의 뼈와 모든 더러운 것이 가득하도다 [28] 이와 같이 너희도 겉으로는 사람에게 옳게 보이되 안으로는 외식과 불법이 가득하도다]

(마 23:25-28, NKJV) [[25] "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. [26] "Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. [27] "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. [28] "Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.]

 

(5) 외식하게 됨

(마 23:16-19, 개역) [[16] 화 있을진저 소경된 인도자여 너희가 말하되 누구든지 성전으로 맹세하면 아무 일 없거니와 성전의 금으로 맹세하면 지킬지라 하는도다 [17] 우맹이요 소경들이여 어느 것이 크뇨 그 금이냐 금을 거룩하게 하는 성전이냐 [18] 너희가 또 이르되 누구든지 제단으로 맹세하면 아무 일 없거니와 그 위에 있는 예물로 맹세하면 지킬지라 하는도다 [19] 소경들이여 어느 것이 크뇨 그 예물이냐 예물을 거룩하게 하는 제단이냐]

(마 23:16-19, NKJV) [[16] "Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.' [17] "Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? [18] "And, 'Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.' [19] "Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?]

 

(6) 야고보의 교훈입니다.

(약 5:1-6, 개역) [[1] 들으라 부한 자들아 너희에게 임할 고생을 인하여 울고 통곡하라 [2] 너희 재물은 썩었고 너희 옷은 좀 먹었으며 [3] 너희 금과 은은 녹이 슬었으니 이 녹이 너희에게 증거가 되며 불 같이 너희 살을 먹으리라 너희가 말세에 재물을 쌓았도다 [4] 보라 너희 밭에 추수한 품꾼에게 주지 아니한 삯이 소리지르며 추수한 자의 우는 소리가 만군의 주의 귀에 들렸느니라 [5] 너희가 땅에서 사치하고 연락하여 도살의 날에 너희 마음을 살찌게 하였도다 [6] 너희가 옳은 자를 정죄하였도다 또 죽였도다 그는 너희에게 대항하지 아니하였느니라]

(약 5:1-6, NKJV) [[1] Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! [2] Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. [3] Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. [4] Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. [5] You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. [6] You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.]

 

(약 1:9-11, 개역) [[9] 낮은 형제는 자기의 높음을 자랑하고 [10] 부한 형제는 자기의 낮아짐을 자랑할지니 이는 풀의 꽃과 같이 지나감이라 [11] 해가 돋고 뜨거운 바람이 불어 풀을 말리우면 꽃이 떨어져 그 모양의 아름다움이 없어지나니 부한 자도 그 행하는 일에 이와 같이 쇠잔하리라]

(약 1:9-11, NKJV) [[9] Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, [10] but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. [11] For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.]

 

(7) 낙타가 바늘귀로

(마 19:23-26, 개역) [[23] 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 부자는 천국에 들어가기가 어려우니라 [24] 다시 너희에게 말하노니 약대가 바늘귀로 들어가는 것이 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라 하신대 [25] 제자들이 듣고 심히 놀라 가로되 그런즉 누가 구원을 얻을 수 있으리이까 [26] 예수께서 저희를 보시며 가라사대 사람으로는 할 수 없으되 하나님으로서는 다 할 수 있느니라]

(마 19:23-26, NKJV) [[23] Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. [24] "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." [25] When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" [26] But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."]

 

(8) 사울도 눈이 멀었었습니다.

(행 9:1-5, 개역) [[1] 사울이 주의 제자들을 대하여 여전히 위협과 살기가 등등하여 대제사장에게 가서 [2] 다메섹 여러 회당에 갈 공문을 청하니 이는 만일 그 도를 좇는 사람을 만나면 무론 남녀하고 결박하여 예루살렘으로 잡아오려 함이라 [3] 사울이 행하여 다메섹에 가까이 가더니 홀연히 하늘로서 빛이 저를 둘러 비추는지라 [4] 땅에 엎드러져 들으매 소리 있어 가라사대 사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 핍박하느냐 하시거늘 [5] 대답하되 주여 뉘시오니이까 가라사대 나는 네가 핍박하는 예수라]

(행 9:1-5, NKJV) [[1] Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest [2] and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. [3] As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. [4] Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" [5] And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads."]

 

(9) 세상 욕심은 하나님과 원수가 되게 합니다.

(약 4:1-4, 개역) [[1] 너희 중에 싸움이 어디로, 다툼이 어디로 좇아 나느뇨 너희 지체 중에서 싸우는 정욕으로 좇아 난 것이 아니냐 [2] 너희가 욕심을 내어도 얻지 못하고 살인하고 시기하여도 능히 취하지 못하나니 너희가 다투고 싸우는도다 너희가 얻지 못함은 구하지 아니함이요 [3] 구하여도 받지 못함은 정욕으로 쓰려고 잘못 구함이니라 [4] 간음하는 여자들이여 세상에 벗된 것이 하나님의 원수임을 알지 못하느뇨 그런즉 누구든지 세상과 벗이 되고자 하는 자는 스스로 하나님과 원수 되게 하는 것이니라]

(약 4:1-4, NKJV) [[1] Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? [2] You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. [3] You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. [4] Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.]

 

(딤전 6:10, 개역) [돈을 사랑함이 일만 악의 뿌리가 되나니 이것을 사모하는 자들이 미혹을 받아 믿음에서 떠나 많은 근심으로써 자기를 찔렀도다]

(딤전 6:10, NKJV) [For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.]

 

(10) 부자청년입니다.

(마 19:21-22, 개역) [[21] 예수께서 가라사대 네가 온전하고자 할진대 가서 네 소유를 팔아 가난한 자들을 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 좇으라 하시니 [22] 그 청년이 재물이 많으므로 이 말씀을 듣고 근심하며 가니라]

(마 19:21-22, NKJV) [[21] Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." [22] But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.]

 

(11) 재물에 소망을 둠

(딤전 6:17-19, 개역) [[17] 네가 이 세대에 부한 자들을 명하여 마음을 높이지 말고 정함이 없는 재물에 소망을 두지 말고 오직 우리에게 모든 것을 후히 주사 누리게 하시는 하나님께 두며 [18] 선한 일을 행하고 선한 사업에 부하고 나눠주기를 좋아하며 동정하는 자가 되게 하라 [19] 이것이 장래에 자기를 위하여 좋은 터를 쌓아 참된 생명을 취하는 것이니라]

(딤전 6:17-19, NKJV) [[17] Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. [18] Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, [19] storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.]

 

6. 배 부른자는 화가 있습니다.

(1) 진리를 사모하지 않습니다.

(요 8:44, 개역) [너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라]

(요 8:44, NKJV) ["You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.]

 

(2) 배우려고 하지 않습니다.

(빌 3:11-14, 개역) [[11] 어찌하든지 죽은 자 가운데서 부활에 이르려 하노니 [12] 내가 이미 얻었다 함도 아니요 온전히 이루었다 함도 아니라 오직 내가 그리스도 예수께 잡힌 바 된 그것을 잡으려고 좇아가노라 [13] 형제들아 나는 아직 내가 잡은 줄로 여기지 아니하고 오직 한 일 즉 뒤에 있는 것은 잊어버리고 앞에 있는 것을 잡으려고 [14] 푯대를 향하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님이 위에서 부르신 부름의 상을 위하여 좇아가노라]

(빌 3:11-14, NKJV) [[11] if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. [12] Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. [13] Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, [14] I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.]

 

(3) 주님을 찾지 않습니다.

(요 5:37-42, 개역) [[37] 또한 나를 보내신 아버지께서 친히 나를 위하여 증거하셨느니라 너희는 아무 때에도 그 음성을 듣지 못하였고 그 형용을 보지 못하였으며 [38] 그 말씀이 너희 속에 거하지 아니하니 이는 그의 보내신 자를 믿지 아니함이니라 [39] 너희가 성경에서 영생을 얻는 줄 생각하고 성경을 상고하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증거하는 것이로다 [40] 그러나 너희가 영생을 얻기 위하여 내게 오기를 원하지 아니하는도다 [41] 나는 사람에게 영광을 취하지 아니하노라 [42] 다만 하나님을 사랑하는 것이 너희 속에 없음을 알았노라]

(요 5:37-42, NKJV) [[37] "And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. [38] "But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. [39] "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. [40] "But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. [41] "I do not receive honor from men. [42] "But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you.]

 

(4) 인본주의입니다.

(렘 17:5-8, 개역) [[5] 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 무릇 사람을 믿으며 혈육으로 그 권력을 삼고 마음이 여호와에게서 떠난 그 사람은 저주를 받을 것이라 [6] 그는 사막의 떨기나무 같아서 좋은 일의 오는 것을 보지 못하고 광야 간조한 곳, 건건한 땅, 사람이 거하지 않는 땅에 거하리라 [7] 그러나 무릇 여호와를 의지하며 여호와를 의뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이라 [8] 그는 물가에 심기운 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라]

(렘 17:5-8, NKJV) [[5] Thus says the LORD： "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. [6] For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. [7] "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. [8] For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.]

 

(렘 9:23-24, 개역) [[23] 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 지혜로운 자는 그 지혜를 자랑치 말라 용사는 그 용맹을 자랑치 말라 부자는 그 부함을 자랑치 말라 [24] 자랑하는 자는 이것으로 자랑할지니 곧 명철하여 나를 아는 것과 나 여호와는 인애와 공평과 정직을 땅에 행하는 자인줄 깨닫는 것이라 나는 이 일을 기뻐하노라 여호와의 말이니라]

(렘 9:23-24, NKJV) [[23] Thus says the LORD： "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; [24] But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.]

 

(5) 자기중심입니다.

(마 17:1-8, 개역) [[1] 엿새 후에 예수께서 베드로와 야고보와 그 형제 요한을 데리시고 따로 높은 산에 올라 가셨더니 [2] 저희 앞에서 변형되사 그 얼굴이 해 같이 빛나며 옷이 빛과 같이 희어졌더라 [3] 때에 모세와 엘리야가 예수로 더불어 말씀하는 것이 저희에게 보이거늘 [4] 베드로가 예수께 여짜와 가로되 주여 우리가 여기 있는 것이 좋사오니 주께서 만일 원하시면 내가 여기서 초막 셋을 짓되 하나는 주를 위하여, 하나는 모세를 위하여, 하나는 엘리야를 위하여 하리이다 [5] 말할 때에 홀연히 빛난 구름이 저희를 덮으며 구름 속에서 소리가 나서 가로되 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자니 너희는 저의 말을 들으라 하는지라 [6] 제자들이 듣고 엎드리어 심히 두려워하니 [7] 예수께서 나아가 저희에게 손을 대시며 가라사대 일어나라 두려워 말라 하신대 [8] 제자들이 눈을 들고 보매 오직 예수 외에는 아무도 보이지 아니하더라]

[5] While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" [6] And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. [7] But Jesus came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid." [8] When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.]

 

(6) 자기의 의로움을 내세웁니다.

(눅 18:9-14, 개역) [[9] 또 자기를 의롭다고 믿고 다른 사람을 멸시하는 자들에게 이 비유로 말씀하시되 [10] 두 사람이 기도하러 성전에 올라가니 하나는 바리새인이요 하나는 세리라 [11] 바리새인은 서서 따로 기도하여 가로되 하나님이여 나는 다른 사람들 곧 토색, 불의, 간음을 하는 자들과 같지 아니하고 이 세리와도 같지 아니함을 감사하나이다 [12] 나는 이레에 두 번씩 금식하고 또 소득의 십일조를 드리나이다 하고 [13] 세리는 멀리 서서 감히 눈을 들어 하늘을 우러러 보지도 못하고 다만 가슴을 치며 가로되 하나님이여 불쌍히 여기옵소서 나는 죄인이로소이다 하였느니라 [14] 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이 사람이 저보다 의롭다 하심을 받고 집에 내려 갔느니라 무릇 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라 하시니라]

(눅 18:9-14, NKJV) [[9] Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others： [10] "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. [11] "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, I thank You that I am not like other men--extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. [12] 'I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.' [13] "And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' [14] "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."]

 

(7) 세상욕심에 눈이 먼자.

(골 3:1-5, 개역) [[1] 그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위엣 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 [2] 위엣 것을 생각하고 땅엣 것을 생각지 말라 [3] 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감취었음이니라 [4] 우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라 [5] 그러므로 땅에 있는 지체를 죽이라 곧 음란과 부정과 사욕과 악한 정욕과 탐심이니 탐심은 우상 숭배니라]

(골 3:1-5, NKJV) [[1] If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. [2] Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. [3] For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. [4] When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. [5] Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth： fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.]

 

7. 이제 웃는자들은 화가 있습니다.

(1) 세상쾌락을 즐기를 자들입니다.

(딤후 3:1-5, 개역) [[1] 네가 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르리니 [2] 사람들은 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자긍하며 교만하며 훼방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사치 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며 [3] 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 참소하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아 아니하며 [4] 배반하여 팔며 조급하며 자고하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 [5] 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하는 자니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라]

(딤후 3:1-5, NKJV) [[1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come： [2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!]

 

(2) 악을 즐기는 자들입니다.

(롬 2:5-10, 개역) [[5] 다만 네 고집과 회개치 아니한 마음을 따라 진노의 날 곧 하나님의 의로우신 판단이 나타나는 그 날에 임할 진노를 네게 쌓는도다 [6] 하나님께서 각 사람에게 그 행한 대로 보응하시되 [7] 참고 선을 행하여 영광과 존귀와 썩지 아니함을 구하는 자에게는 영생으로 하시고 [8] 오직 당을 지어 진리를 좇지 아니하고 불의를 좇는 자에게는 노와 분으로 하시리라 [9] 악을 행하는 각 사람의 영에게 환난과 곤고가 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게며 [10] 선을 행하는 각 사람에게는 영광과 존귀와 평강이 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게라]

(롬 2:5-10, NKJV) [[5] But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, [6] who "will render to each one according to his deeds"： [7] eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; [8] but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath, [9] tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; [10] but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.]

(고전 10:5-7, NKJV) [[5] But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. [6] Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. [7] And do not become idolaters as were some of them. (3) 자기자랑으로 가득합니다.

(빌 3:1-8, 개역) [[1] 종말로 나의 형제들아 주 안에서 기뻐하라 너희에게 같은 말을 쓰는 것이 내게는 수고로움이 없고 너희에게는 안전하니라 [2] 개들을 삼가고 행악하는 자들을 삼가고 손할례당을 삼가라 [3] 하나님의 성령으로 봉사하며 그리스도 예수로 자랑하고 육체를 신뢰하지 아니하는 우리가 곧 할례당이라 [4] 그러나 나도 육체를 신뢰할 만하니 만일 누구든지 다른 이가 육체를 신뢰할 것이 있는 줄로 생각하면 나는 더욱 그러하리니 [5] 내가 팔일 만에 할례를 받고 이스라엘의 족속이요 베냐민의 지파요 히브리인 중의 히브리인이요 율법으로는 바리새인이요 [6] 열심으로는 교회를 핍박하고 율법의 의로는 흠이 없는 자로라 [7] 그러나 무엇이든지 내게 유익하던 것을 내가 그리스도를 위하여 다 해로 여길 뿐더러 [8] 또한 모든 것을 해로 여김은 내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상함을 인함이라 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻고]

(4) 최후의 심판을 모릅니다.

(시 73:16-20, 개역) [[16] 내가 어찌면 이를 알까 하여 생각한즉 내게 심히 곤란하더니 [17] 하나님의 성소에 들어갈 때에야 저희 결국을 내가 깨달았나이다 [18] 주께서 참으로 저희를 미끄러운 곳에 두시며 파멸에 던지시니 [19] 저희가 어찌 그리 졸지에 황폐되었는가 놀람으로 전멸하였나이다 [20] 주여 사람이 깬 후에는 꿈을 무시함 같이 주께서 깨신 후에 저희 형상을 멸시하시리이다]

(시 73:16-20, NKJV) [[16] When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me-- [17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. [18] Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. [19] Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. [20] As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image.]

 

(5) 사치에 힘을 씁니다.

(약 5:5, 개역) [너희가 땅에서 사치하고 연락하여 도살의 날에 너희 마음을 살찌게 하였도다]

(약 5:5, NKJV) [You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.]

 

(계 18:7-9, 개역) [[7] 그가 어떻게 자기를 영화롭게 하였으며 사치하였든지 그만큼 고난과 애통으로 갚아 주라 그가 마음에 말하기를 나는 여황으로 앉은 자요 과부가 아니라 결단코 애통을 당하지 아니하리라 하니 [8] 그러므로 하루 동안에 그 재앙들이 이르리니 곧 사망과 애통과 흉년이라 그가 또한 불에 살라지리니 그를 심판하신 주 하나님은 강하신 자이심이니라 [9] 그와 함께 음행하고 사치하던 땅의 왕들이 그 불붙는 연기를 보고 위하여 울고 가슴을 치며]

(6) 날마다 파티합니다.

(눅 16:19-26, 개역) [[19] 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데 [20] 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 [21] 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 [22] 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 [23] 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 [24] 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 [25] 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라 [26] 이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너올 수도 없게 하였느니라]

(7) 세상을 사랑합니다.

(약 4:4, 개역) [간음하는 여자들이여 세상에 벗된 것이 하나님의 원수임을 알지 못하느뇨 그런즉 누구든지 세상과 벗이 되고자 하는 자는 스스로 하나님과 원수 되게 하는 것이니라]

(약 4:4, NKJV) [Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.]

 

(갈 6:14, 개역) [그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여 그러하니라]

(갈 6:14, NKJV) [But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.]

 

(8) 애통하며 울게 됩니다.

(계 1:7, 개역) [볼지어다 구름을 타고 오시리라 각인의 눈이 그를 보겠고 그를 찌른 자들도 볼 터이요 땅에 있는 모든 족속이 그를 인하여 애곡하리니 그러하리라 아멘]

(계 1:7, NKJV) [Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.]

(계 18:15, 개역) [바벨론을 인하여 치부한 이 상품의 상고들이 그 고난을 무서워하여 멀리 서서 울고 애통하여]

(계 18:15, NKJV) ["The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,]

 

(계 18:19, 개역) [티끌을 자기 머리에 뿌리고 울고 애통하여 외쳐 가로되 화 있도다 화 있도다 이 큰 성이여 바다에서 배 부리는 모든 자들이 너의 보배로운 상품을 인하여 치부하였더니 일시간에 망하였도다]

(계 18:19, NKJV) ["They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, 'Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.']

 

8. 모든 사람들에게 칭찬받는 자들은 화가 있습니다.

(1) 진리를 타협하는 자들입니다.

(잠 23:23, 개역) [진리를 사고서 팔지 말며 지혜와 훈계와 명철도 그리할지니라]

(잠 23:23, NKJV) [Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.]

 

(약 5:12, 개역) [내 형제들아 무엇보다도 맹세하지 말지니 하늘로나 땅으로나 아무 다른 것으로도 맹세하지 말고 오직 너희의 그렇다 하는 것은 그렇다 하고 아니라 하는 것은 아니라 하여 죄 정함을 면하라]

(약 5:12, NKJV) [But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes," be "Yes," and your "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment.]

 

(2) 성경을 가감합니다.

(계 22:18-19, 개역) [[18] 내가 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 듣는 각인에게 증거하노니 만일 누구든지 이것들 외에 더하면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 터이요 [19] 만일 누구든지 이 책의 예언의 말씀에서 제하여 버리면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 생명나무와 및 거룩한 성에 참예함을 제하여 버리시리라]

(계 22:18-19, NKJV) [[18] For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book： If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; [19] and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.]

 

(3) 세상 입맛에 맞춥니다.

(롬 12:1-3, 개역) [[1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 [3] 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라]

(롬 12:1-3, NKJV) [[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.]

 

(4) 권력에 아부하는 자들입니다.

(왕상 22:5-17, 개역) [[5] 여호사밧이 또 이스라엘 왕에게 이르되 청컨대 먼저 여호와의 말씀이 어떠하신지 물어 보소서 [6] 이스라엘 왕이 이에 선지자 사백 인쯤 모으고 저희에게 이르되 내가 길르앗 라못에 가서 싸우랴 말랴 저희가 가로되 올라가소서 주께서 그 성을 왕의 손에 붙이시리이다 [7] 여호사밧이 가로되 이 외에 우리가 물을만한 여호와의 선지자가 여기 있지 아니하니이까 [8] 이스라엘 왕이 여호사밧에게 이르되 오히려 이믈라의 아들 미가야 한 사람이 있으니 저로 말미암아 여호와께 물을 수 있으나 저는 내게 대하여 길한 일은 예언하지 아니하고 흉한 일만 예언하기로 내가 저를 미워하나이다 여호사밧이 가로되 왕은 그런 말씀을 마소서 [9] 이스라엘 왕이 한 내시를 불러 이르되 이믈라의 아들 미가야로 속히 오게 하라 하니라 [10] 이스라엘 왕과 유다 왕 여호사밧이 왕복을 입고 사마리아 문어귀 광장에서 각기 보좌에 앉았고 모든 선지자가 그 앞에서 예언을 하는데 [11] 그나아나의 아들 시드기야는 철로 뿔들을 만들어 가지고 말하되 여호와의 말씀이 왕이 이것들로 아람 사람을 찔러 진멸하리라 하셨다 하고 [12] 모든 선지자도 그와 같이 예언하여 이르기를 길르앗 라못으로 올라가 승리를 얻으소서 여호와께서 그 성을 왕의 손에 붙이시리이다 하더라 [13] 미가야를 부르러 간 사자가 일러 가로되 선지자들의 말이 여출 일구하여 왕에게 길하게 하니 청컨대 당신의 말도 저희 중 한 사람의 말처럼 길하게 하소서 [14] 미가야가 가로되 여호와의 사심을 가리켜 맹세하노니 여호와께서 내게 말씀하시는 것 곧 그것을 내가 말하리라 하고 [15] 이에 왕에게 이르니 왕이 저에게 이르되 미가야야 우리가 길르앗 라못으로 싸우러 가랴 말랴 저가 왕께 이르되 올라가서 승리를 얻으소서 여호와께서 그 성을 왕의 손에 붙이시리이다 [16] 왕이 저에게 이르되 내가 몇번이나 너로 맹세케 하여야 네가 여호와의 이름으로 진실한 것으로만 내게 고하겠느냐 [17] 저가 가로되 내가 보니 온 이스라엘이 목자 없는 양 같이 산에 흩어졌는데 여호와의 말씀이 이 무리가 주인이 없으니 각각 평안히 그 집으로 돌아갈 것이니라 하셨나이다]

(왕상 22:5-17, NKJV) [[5] Also Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, "Please inquire for the word of the LORD today." [6] Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to fight, or shall I refrain?" So they said, "Go up, for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king." [7] And Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not still a prophet of the LORD here, that we may inquire of Him?" [8] So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD; but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil." And Jehoshaphat said, "Let not the king say such things!" [9] Then the king of Israel called an officer and said, "Bring Micaiah the son of Imlah quickly!" [10] The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, having put on their robes, sat each on his throne, at a threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. [11] Now Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made horns of iron for himself; and he said, "Thus says the LORD： 'With these you shall gore the Syrians until they are destroyed.'" [12] And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, "Go up to Ramoth Gilead and prosper, for the LORD will deliver it into the king's hand." [13] Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, "Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Please, let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement." [14] And Micaiah said, "As the LORD lives, whatever the LORD says to me, that I will speak." [15] Then he came to the king; and the king said to him, "Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall we refrain?" And he answered him, "Go and prosper, for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king!" [16] So the king said to him, "How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?" [17] Then he said, "I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the LORD said, 'These have no master. Let each return to his house in peace.'"]

 

(5) 자기욕심을 채움

(벧후 2:12-16, 개역) [[12] 그러나 이 사람들은 본래 잡혀 죽기 위하여 난 이성 없는 짐승 같아서 그 알지 못한 것을 훼방하고 저희 멸망 가운데서 멸망을 당하며 [13] 불의의 값으로 불의를 당하며 낮에 연락을 기쁘게 여기는 자들이니 점과 흠이라 너희와 함께 연회할 때에 저희 간사한 가운데 연락하며 [14] 음심이 가득한 눈을 가지고 범죄하기를 쉬지 아니하고 굳세지 못한 영혼들을 유혹하며 탐욕에 연단된 마음을 가진 자들이니 저주의 자식이라 [15] 저희가 바른 길을 떠나 미혹하여 브올의 아들 발람의 길을 좇는도다 그는 불의의 삯을 사랑하다가 [16] 자기의 불법을 인하여 책망을 받되 말 못하는 나귀가 사람의 소리로 말하여 이 선지자의 미친 것을 금지하였느니라]

(벧후 2:12-16, NKJV) [[12] But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, [13] and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, [14] having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. [15] They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; [16] but he was rebuked for his iniquity： a dumb donkey speaking with a man's voice restrained the madness of the prophet.]

 

(6) 에서와 같은 자들입니다.

(히 12:14-17, 개역) [[14] 모든 사람으로 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 좇으라 이것이 없이는 아무도 주를 보지 못하리라 [15] 너희는 돌아보아 하나님 은혜에 이르지 못하는 자가 있는가 두려워하고 또 쓴 뿌리가 나서 괴롭게 하고 많은 사람이 이로 말미암아 더러움을 입을까 두려워하고 [16] 음행하는 자와 혹 한 그릇 식물을 위하여 장자의 명분을 판 에서와 같이 망령된 자가 있을까 두려워하라 [17] 너희의 아는 바와 같이 저가 그 후에 축복을 기업으로 받으려고 눈물을 흘리며 구하되 버린 바가 되어 회개할 기회를 얻지 못하였느니라]

(히 12:14-17, NKJV) [[14] Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord： [15] looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; [16] lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. [17] For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.]

 

(7) 거짓선지자들입니다.

(마 24:10-12, 개역) [[10] 그 때에 많은 사람이 시험에 빠져 서로 잡아 주고 서로 미워하겠으며 [11] 거짓 선지자가 많이 일어나 많은 사람을 미혹하게 하겠으며 [12] 불법이 성하므로 많은 사람의 사랑이 식어지리라]

(마 24:10-12, NKJV) [[10] "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. [11] "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. [12] "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.]

 

(8) 사람이 아니라 주님을 기쁘시게해야 합니다.

(갈 1:6-10, 개역) [[6] 그리스도의 은혜로 너희를 부르신 이를 이같이 속히 떠나 다른 복음 좇는 것을 내가 이상히 여기노라 [7] 다른 복음은 없나니 다만 어떤 사람들이 너희를 요란케 하여 그리스도의 복음을 변하려 함이라 [8] 그러나 우리나 혹 하늘로부터 온 천사라도 우리가 너희에게 전한 복음 외에 다른 복음을 전하면 저주를 받을지어다 [9] 우리가 전에 말하였거니와 내가 지금 다시 말하노니 만일 누구든지 너희의 받은 것 외에 다른 복음을 전하면 저주를 받을지어다 [10] 이제 내가 사람들에게 좋게 하랴 하나님께 좋게 하랴 사람들에게 기쁨을 구하랴 내가 지금까지 사람의 기쁨을 구하는 것이었더면 그리스도의 종이 아니니라]

(갈 1:6-10, NKJV) [[6] I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, [7] which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. [9] As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. [10] For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.]

 

(9) 예레미야와 하나냐입니다.

(렘 27:12-18, 개역) [[12] 내가 이 모든 말씀대로 유다 왕 시드기야에게 고하여 가로되 왕과 백성은 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메고 그와 그 백성을 섬기소서 그리하면 살리이다 [13] 어찌하여 왕과 왕의 백성이 여호와께서 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하는 나라에 대하여 하신 말씀 같이 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽으려 하나이까 [14] 왕과 백성에게 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하는 선지자의 말을 듣지 마소서 그들은 거짓을 예언하나이다 [15] 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였거늘 그들이 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하니 내가 너희를 몰아내며 너희와 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들을 멸망시키기에 이르리라 하셨나이다 [16] 내가 또 제사장들과 그 모든 백성에게 고하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 여호와의 집 기구를 이제 바벨론에서 속히 돌려오리라고 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라 이는 그들이 거짓을 예언함이니라 하셨나니 [17] 너희는 그들을 듣지 말고 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 살리라 어찌하여 이 성으로 황무지가 되게 하겠느냐 [18] 만일 그들이 선지자이고 여호와의 말씀이 그들에게 있을진대 그들이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 기구가 바벨론으로 옮겨가지 않도록 만군의 여호와께 구하여야 할 것이니라]

(렘 27:12-18, NKJV) [[12] I also spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, "Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live! [13] "Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? [14] "Therefore do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, 'You shall not serve the king of Babylon,' for they prophesy a lie to you; [15] "for I have not sent them," says the LORD, "yet they prophesy a lie in My name, that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you." [16] Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, "Thus says the LORD： 'Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, "Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon"; for they prophesy a lie to you. [17] 'Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city be laid waste? [18] 'But if they are prophets, and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, do not go to Babylon.']

 

(10) 핍박을 받습니다.

(렘 26:8-9, 개역) [[8] 에레미야가 여호와께서 명하신 말씀을 모든 백성에게 고하기를 마치매 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성이 그를 붙잡고 이르되 네가 반드시 죽으리라 [9] 어찌하여 네가 여호와의 이름을 의탁하고 예언하여 이르기를 이 집이 실로 같이 되겠고 이 성이 황무하여 거민이 없으리라 하느뇨 하며 그 모든 백성이 여호와의 집에서 예레미야에게로 모여드니라]

(렘 26:8-9, NKJV) [[8] Now it happened, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, "You will surely die! [9] "Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, 'This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without an inhabitant'?" And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.]

 

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

나는 무엇을 추구하며 살고 있습니까?

무엇이 나의 삶의 최고의 우선순위입니까?

나는 주님을 사랑하는 것입니까?

성경말씀을 절대적인 가치의 기준으로 삼아야 합니다.

진리를 타협하지 말아야 합니다.

사람들의 눈치를 보지말고 주님을 기쁘시게 해야 합니다.

타협하면 소금의 짠맛을 잃어 버립니다.

능력이 없습니다.

세상사랑과 주님사랑은 함께 할수 없습니다.

오직 예수님이십니다.

 

오늘도 진리에 굳게 서서 담대히 복음을 선포함으로 주님을 기쁘시게 하고 주님을 믿음으로 누리며 사는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
