<여호와는 나의 목자>

(시 23:1-6, 개역) [[1] [다윗의 시] 여호와는 나의 목자시니 내가 부족함이 없으리로다 [2] 그가 나를 푸른 초장에 누이시며 쉴만한 물 가으로 인도하시는도다 [3] 내 영혼을 소생시키시고 자기 이름을 위하여 의의 길로 인도하시는도다 [4] 내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다 [5] 주께서 내 원수의 목전에서 내게 상을 베푸시고 기름으로 내 머리에 바르셨으니 내 잔이 넘치나이다 [6] 나의 평생에 선하심과 인자하심이 정녕 나를 따르리니 내가 여호와의 집에 영원히 거하리로다]

(시 23:1-6, NKJV) [[1] A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. [3] He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. [5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.]

 

우리가 좋아하고 잘 알려진 시편입니다.

목동이었던 다윗이 일생을 돌아보며 자신도 하나님 앞에서 양과 같다는 깨달음을 가지게 된것입니다. 우리는 이 시편을 묵상하면서 호주나 미국같은 초장지대를 연상하면 않됩니다. 중동지역은 사막입니다. 여기저기 풀밭이 있을수도 있지만 대부분은 황령한 사막 같은 곳입니다. 양들은 이 광야같은 사막에서 목자되시는 하나님 없다면 살아갈수 없음을 잘 알고 있습니다. 하나님께서 베푸시는 은헤와 사랑과 보호하심은 부족함이 없다. 넘치나이다 등등으로 표현되어 있습니다.

본시는 다윗의 고백이며 찬양이며 감사입니다. 우리들도 이 광야같은 세상에서 하나님의 은혜를 더욱 깊이 깨달아 다윗처럼 주님을 사랑하고 의지하는 고백이 나올수 있어야 하겠습니다. 내게 부족함이 없으리로다. 주님만 있으면 된다는 것입니다. 주님이 만족이며 주님이 채워 주시고 주님이 함께하시는 인생은 그야말로 복된 인생입니다.

오늘도 이 말씀을 통하여 더욱 주님을 사랑하고 충성을 다하는 복된 우리모두가 될수있가를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다. 아멘.

 

1. 내게 부족함이 없으리로다.

(1) 양의 연약함을 알아야 합니다.

양은 방향감각이 없어 길을 잃어버리기 쉽고 방어능력이 없음으로 잡혀 먹히기 쉽습니다. 시력이 약합니다. 한번 넘어지면 스스로 일어나지 못합니다. 고집도 있습니다. 물없고 풀없는 광야는 양이 혼자살기에는 너무나 험한 곳입니다.

우리들도 이 세상은 광야 같아서 주님이 계시지 않으면 위험합니다.

주님을 절대적으로 의지하는 것이 필요합니다.

(2) 양은 목자를 따라가야 합니다.

(눅 9:23, 개역) [또 무리에게 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 날마다 제 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라]

(눅 9:23, NKJV) [Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.]

 

베드윈들은 사막에서 양을 치며 살아가는 사람들입니다.

사막은 지도가 없습니다.

어떤 사람이 길을 물어 보자 베드윈 사람은 설명할수 없습니다. 나를 따라 오십시오 내가 곧 길입니다. 대답하였습니다. 주님이 우리들의 길입니다.

 

(요 14:6, 개역) [예수께서 가라사대 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라]

(요 14:6, NKJV) [Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.]

 

(3) 쉴만한 물가로 인도하십니다.

사막에는 물이 없지만 적은 식물들이 살고 있습니다. 그 식물들은 바로 아침 새벽에 내리는 이슬을 먹고 자랍니다.

그리고 사막에는 놀랍게도 오아시스가 있습니다.

기적처럼 사막 한가운데 물이 솟아나고 나무들이 자라고 있습니다.

목자들은 그런곳을 알고 있어 인도합니다.

이 광야세상에서 어디에 나를 만족하게 할 오아시스가 있습니까?

하나님의 말씀과 성령의 물이 있는 교회입니다.

교회는 이 세상의 오아시스입니다.

구원이 있고 생명이 태어나고 자라고 있습니다.

(사 12:1-3, 개역) [[1] 그 날에 네가 말하기를 여호와여 주께서 전에는 내게 노하셨사오나 이제는 그 노가 쉬었고 또 나를 안위하시오니 내가 주께 감사겠나이다 할 것이니라 [2] 보라 하나님은 나의 구원이시라 내가 의뢰하고 두려움이 없으리니 주 여호와는 나의 힘이시며 나의 노래시며 나의 구원이심이라 [3] 그러므로 너희가 기쁨으로 구원의 우물들에서 물을 길으리로다]

(사 12:1-3, NKJV) [[1] And in that day you will say： "O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. [2] Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.'" [3] Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.]

 

(4) 푸른 초장으로 인도하십니다.

누울수 있는 평안한 곳입니다. 주님 만이 나에게 평안함을 줄수 있습니다.

양들은 민감하여 두려움이 없어야 하고 파리나 해충이 없어야 편히 누워 싈수 있습니다.

(요 14:26-27, 개역) [[26] 보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치시고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하시리라 [27] 평안을 너희에게 끼치노니 곧 나의 평안을 너희에게 주노라 내가 너희에게 주는 것은 세상이 주는 것 같지 아니하니라 너희는 마음에 근심도 말고 두려워하지도 말라]

(요 14:26-27, NKJV) [[26] "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. [27] "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.]

 

(시 4:6-8, 개역) [[6] 여러 사람의 말이 우리에게 선을 보일 자 누구뇨 하오니 여호와여 주의 얼굴을 들어 우리에게 비취소서 [7] 주께서 내 마음에 두신 기쁨은 저희의 곡식과 새 포도주의 풍성할 때보다 더하니이다 [8] 내가 평안히 눕고 자기도 하리니 나를 안전히 거하게 하시는 이는 오직 여호와시니이다]

(시 4:6-8, NKJV) [[6] There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. [7] You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. [8] I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.]

 

(5) 음성을 듣고 따라갑니다.

(요 10:27, 개역) [내 양은 내 음성을 들으며 나는 저희를 알며 저희는 나를 따르느니라]

(요 10:27, NKJV) ["My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.]

 

놀랍게도 중동에서 목자들은 마치 우리가 강아지들에게 이름을 붙여주듯이 양들에게 이름을 붙여준다고 합니다. 주님이 나의 이름을 부르실 때 응답하며 사귀어 살아가야 합니다.

 

(6) 목자는 양의 모든 것입니다.

목자가 없으면 양은 죽음 목숨입니다.

(빌 3:8, 개역) [또한 모든 것을 해로 여김은 내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상함을 인함이라 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻고]

(빌 3:8, NKJV) [Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ]

 

(마 13:44-46, 개역) [[44] 천국은 마치 밭에 감추인 보화와 같으니 사람이 이를 발견한 후 숨겨두고 기뻐하여 돌아가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 밭을 샀느니라 [45] 또 천국은 마치 좋은 진주를 구하는 장사와 같으니 [46] 극히 값진 진주 하나를 만나매 가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 진주를 샀느니라]

(마 13:44-46, NKJV) [[44] "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. [45] "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, [46] "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.]

 

주님을 생명처럼 사랑하고 절대적으로 의지하는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 축원합니다.

(잠 3:5-8, 개역) [[5] 너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 의뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라 [6] 너는 범사에 그를 인정하라 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라 [7] 스스로 지혜롭게 여기지 말지어다 여호와를 경외하며 악을 떠날지어다 [8] 이것이 네 몸에 양약이 되어 네 골수로 윤택하게 하리라]

(잠 3:5-8, NKJV) [[5] Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. [7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. [8] It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.]

 

(시 125:1-2, 개역) [[1] [성전에 올라가는 노래] 여호와를 의뢰하는 자는 시온 산이 요동치 아니하고 영원히 있음 같도다 [2] 산들이 예루살렘을 두름과 같이 여호와께서 그 백성을 지금부터 영원까지 두르시리로다]

(시 125:1-2, NKJV) [[1] A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. [2] As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.]

 

(7) 양을 위하여 죽는 목자

이것은 아부 놀라운 말씀입니다.

왜냐하면 양을 위하여 목숨을 버리는 목자는 실제로는 없기 때문입니다.

사고를 당할 수는 있겠지만 맹수들이 떼를 지어 온다거나 강도들이 나타날 때 자신의 목숨이 위험하면 양을 버리고 도망하여 목숨을 건지는 것이 상식입니다.

그런데 주님은 자신이 선한 목자라고 하시면서 양들을 위하여 목움을 버리신다고 하십니다. 양들을 살리는 길은 오직 주님의 죽으심으로만 가능하기 때문입니다. 목숨까지도 버리시는 주님의 강력한 사랑입니다.

 

(요 10:10-12, 개역) [[10] 도적이 오는 것은 도적질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라 [11] 나는 선한 목자라 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 목숨을 버리거니와 [12] 삯꾼은 목자도 아니요 양도 제 양이 아니라 이리가 오는 것을 보면 양을 버리고 달아나나니 이리가 양을 늑탈하고 또 헤치느니라]

(요 10:10-12, NKJV) [[10] "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. [11] "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. [12] "But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.]

 

(고후 5:14-15, 개역) [[14] 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라 [15] 저가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 산 자들로 하여금 다시는 저희 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 저희를 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 사신 자를 위하여 살게 하려 함이니라]

(고후 5:14-15, NKJV) [[14] For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus： that if one died for all, then all died; [15] and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.]

 

(8) 복주시는 하나님이십니다.

(엡 1:3-6, 개역) [[3] 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리에게 복 주시되 [4] 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 [5] 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 [6] 이는 그의 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬미하게 하려는 것이라]

(엡 1:3-6, NKJV) [[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [5] having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [6] to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.]

 

2. 내영혼을 소생시킨다.

(1) 깨닫고 회개하게 하십니다.

(행 3:19, 개역) [그러므로 너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라 이같이 하면 유쾌하게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요]

(행 3:19, NKJV) ["Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,]

 

(호 14:1-3, 개역) [[1] 이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오라 네가 불의함을 인하여 엎드러졌느니라 [2] 너는 말씀을 가지고 여호와께로 돌아와서 아뢰기를 모든 불의를 제하시고 선한 바를 받으소서 우리가 입술로 수송아지를 대신하여 주께 드리리이다 [3] 우리가 앗수르의 구원을 의지하지 아니하며 말을 타지 아니하며 다시는 우리의 손으로 지은 것을 향하여 너희는 우리 신이라 하지 아니하오리니 이는 고아가 주께로 말미암아 긍휼을 얻음이니이다 할지니라]

(호 14:1-3, NKJV) [[1] O Israel, return to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity; [2] Take words with you, And return to the LORD. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. [3] Assyria shall not save us, We will not ride on horses, Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, 'You are our gods.' For in You the fatherless finds mercy."]

 

(사 55:6-7, 개역) [[6] 너희는 여호와를 만날 만한 때에 찾으라 가까이 계실 때에 그를 부르라 [7] 악인은 그 길을, 불의한 자는 그 생각을 버리고 여호와께로 돌아오라 그리하면 그가 긍휼히 여기시리라 우리 하나님께로 나아오라 그가 널리 용서하시리라]

(사 55:6-7, NKJV) [[6] Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.]

 

(2) 새 힘을 부어주십니다.

독수리같이

(사 40:27-31, 개역) [[27] 야곱아 네가 어찌하여 말하며 이스라엘아 네가 어찌하여 이르기를 내 사정은 여호와께 숨겨졌으며 원통한 것은 내 하나님에게서 수리하심을 받지 못한다 하느냐 [28] 너는 알지 못하였느냐 듣지 못하였느냐 영원하신 하나님 여호와, 땅 끝까지 창조하신 자는 피곤치 아니하시며 곤비치 아니하시며 명철이 한이 없으시며 [29] 피곤한 자에게는 능력을 주시며 무능한 자에게는 힘을 더하시나니 [30] 소년이라도 피곤하며 곤비하며 장정이라도 넘어지며 자빠지되 [31] 오직 여호와를 앙망하는 자는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리의 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요 달음박질하여도 곤비치 아니하겠고 걸어가도 피곤치 아니하리로다]

(사 40:27-31, NKJV) [[27] Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel： "My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God"? [28] Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. [29] He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, [31] But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.]

 

(3) 날마다 자비를 베푸십니다.

(애 3:22-23, 개역) [[22] 여호와의 자비와 긍휼이 무궁하시므로 우리가 진멸되지 아니함이니이다 [23] 이것이 아침마다 새로우니 주의 성실이 크도소이다]

(애 3:22-23, NKJV) [[22] Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.]

 

(4) 낙심에서 용기를 주십니다.

(고후 4:7-10, 개역) [[7] 우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 능력의 심히 큰 것이 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라 [8] 우리가 사방으로 우겨쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 아니하며 답답한 일을 당하여도 낙심하지 아니하며 [9] 핍박을 받아도 버린 바 되지 아니하며 거꾸러뜨림을 당하여도 망하지 아니하고 [10] 우리가 항상 예수 죽인 것을 몸에 짊어짐은 예수의 생명도 우리 몸에 나타나게 하려 함이라]

(고후 4:7-10, NKJV) [[7] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. [8] We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- [10] always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.]

 

(5) 슬픔에서 기쁨으로 바꾸어 주십니다.

(사 61:1-3, 개역) [[1] 주 여호와의 신이 내게 임하셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 포로 된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 놓임을 전파하며 [2] 여호와의 은혜의 해와 우리 하나님의 신원의 날을 전파하여 모든 슬픈 자를 위로하되 [3] 무릇 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 희락의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시고 그들로 의의 나무 곧 여호와의 심으신 바 그 영광을 나타낼 자라 일컬음을 얻게 하려 하심이니라]

(사 61:1-3, NKJV) [[1] "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; [2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, [3] To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."]

 

(6) 절망에서 소망으로 바꾸어 주십니다.

(삼상 30:5-6, 개역) [[5] (다윗의 두 아내 이스르엘 여인 아히노암과 갈멜 사람 나발의 아내 되었던 아비가일도 사로잡혔더라) [6] 백성이 각기 자녀들을 위하여 마음이 슬퍼서 다윗을 돌로 치자 하니 다윗이 크게 군급하였으나 그 하나님 여호와를 힘입고 용기를 얻었더라]

(삼상 30:5-6, NKJV) [[5] And David's two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive. [6] Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.]

 

(7) 흑암에서 빛으로 인도하십니다.

(시 112:4, 개역) [정직한 자에게는 흑암 중에 빛이 일어나나니 그는 어질고 자비하고 의로운 자로다]

(시 112:4, NKJV) [Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.]

 

(8) 두려움에서 담대함으로 인도하십니다.

(행 4:8-12, 개역) [[8] 이에 베드로가 성령이 충만하여 가로되 백성의 관원과 장로들아 [9] 만일 병인에게 행한 착한 일에 대하여 이 사람이 어떻게 구원을 얻었느냐고 오늘 우리에게 질문하면 [10] 너희와 모든 이스라엘 백성들은 알라 너희가 십자가에 못 박고 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 사람이 건강하게 되어 너희 앞에 섰느니라 [11] 이 예수는 너희 건축자들의 버린 돌로서 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라 [12] 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라]

(행 4:8-12, NKJV) [[8] Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel： [9] "If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, [10] "let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. [11] "This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' [12] "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."]

 

(9) 미움에서 사랑으로 마음을 바꾸 어주십니다.

(창 45:4-5, 개역) [[4] 요셉이 형들에게 이르되 내게로 가까이 오소서 그들이 가까이 가니 가로되 나는 당신들의 아우 요셉이니 당신들이 애굽에 판 자라 [5] 당신들이 나를 이곳에 팔았으므로 근심하지 마소서 한탄하지 마소서 하나님이 생명을 구원하시려고 나를 당신들 앞서 보내셨나이다]

(창 45:4-5, NKJV) [[4] And Joseph said to his brothers, "Please come near to me." So they came near. Then he said： "I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. [5] "But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.]

 

(10) 원망에서 감사로 바꾸어주십니다.

(고전 15:10, NKJV) [But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.]

 

(딤전 1:12-14, 개역) [[12] 나를 능하게 하신 그리스도 예수 우리 주께 내가 감사함은 나를 충성되이 여겨 내게 직분을 맡기심이니 [13] 내가 전에는 훼방자요 핍박자요 포행자이었으나 도리어 긍휼을 입은 것은 내가 믿지 아니할 때에 알지 못하고 행하였음이라 [14] 우리 주의 은혜가 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑과 함께 넘치도록 풍성하였도다]

3. 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않음.

(1) 사망의 음침한 골짜기들입니다.

사막은 평평한곳이 아닙니다. 험한 골짜기가 있고 낭떠러지가 있습니다.

위험합니다. 푸른초장 쉴만한 물가로 가는 길은 자주 낭떠러지가 있는 골짜기를 통과해야 합니다.

그러나 목자는 안전한 길을 알고 있습니다.

인생을 살다가 보면 죽을 것 같은 절망과 고난의 시간을 경험할수도 있습니다.

나가서 인생의 가장 절정의 순간은 이 세상을 떠나는 죽음의 순간일것입니다.

그때에도 주님이 함께 계셔서 나의 마음을 지켜주실것입니다.

(딤후 4:7-8, 개역) [[7] 내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니 [8] 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이니 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게니라]

(딤후 4:7-8, NKJV) [[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.]

(요 14:16, 개역) [내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하시리니]

(3) 홍해를 건널 때 함께 하셨습니다.

(8) 성령으로 함께 하십니다.

(행 1:8, 개역) [오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라]

(행 1:8, NKJV) ["But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."]

 

(9) 말씀으로 함께 하십니다.

(11) 주님을 사랑하면 두려움이 없습니다.

4. 원수의 목전에서 내게 상을 베푸십니다.

(1) 원수가 지켜보고있는 있는 환경입니다.

광야에는 늑대같은 사나운 짐승들이 살고 있어 언제나 틈을 엿보고 있습니다.

양떼가 움직일 때 늑대들도 같이 움직입니다.

무리에서 뒤처지거나 다른 길로 가는 양들은 위험합니다.

 

(벧전 5:8-9, 개역) [[8] 근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 [9] 너희는 믿음을 굳게 하여 저를 대적하라 이는 세상에 있는 너희 형제들도 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄을 앎이니라]

(벧전 5:8-9, NKJV) [[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [9] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.]

 

주님의 양들이 우리들은 항상 교회안에 함께 있어야 합니다.

 

(2) 절대 보호하심

(요 10:28-29, 개역) [[28] 내가 저희에게 영생을 주노니 영원히 멸망치 아니할 터이요 또 저희를 내 손에서 빼앗을 자가 없느니라 [29] 저희를 주신 내 아버지는 만유보다 크시매 아무도 아버지 손에서 빼앗을 수 없느니라]

(요 10:28-29, NKJV) [[28] "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. [29] "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.]

 

(롬 8:38-39, 개역) [[38] 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 [39] 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 아무 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라]

(3) 지팡이와 막대기입니다.

같은 것이지만 고리가 있는 쪽은 양을 구할 때 쓰고 다른 쪽은 사나운 짐승들을 칠 때 씁니다. 주님은 나의 목자가 되셔서 나를 항상 보호하십니다.

목자의 지팡이는 주님의 능력을 상징합니다.

모세가 지팡이를 내밀자 홍해가 갈라졌습니다. 주님의 권능으로 우리를 지켜 주십니다.

(출 14:15-16, 개역) [[15] 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 어찌하여 내게 부르짖느뇨 이스라엘 자손을 명하여 앞으로 나가게 하고 [16] 지팡이를 들고 손을 바다 위로 내밀어 그것으로 갈라지게 하라 이스라엘 자손이 바다 가운데 육지로 행하리라]

(4) 둘러진치십니다.

(5) 지키십니다.

(6) 눈동자같이 지키십니다.

(신 32:10, 개역) [여호와께서 그를 황무지에서, 짐승의 부르짖는 광야에서 만나시고 호위하시며 보호하시며 자기 눈동자 같이 지키셨도다]

(7) 독수리 같이 지키십니다.

(출 19:4, 개역) [나의 애굽 사람에게 어떻게 행하였음과 내가 어떻게 독수리 날개로 너희를 업어 내게로 인도하였음을 너희가 보았느니라]

(출 19:4, NKJV) ['You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself.]

 

(8) 자기 아들처럼 지켜주십니다.

(신 1:29-31, 개역) [[29] 내가 너희에게 말하기를 그들을 무서워 말라 두려워하지 말라 [30] 너희 앞서 행하시는 너희 하나님 여호와께서 애굽에서 너희를 위하여 너희 목전에서 모든 일을 행하신 것 같이 이제도 너희를 위하여 싸우실 것이며 [31] 광야에서도 너희가 당하였거니와 사람이 자기 아들을 안음 같이 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희의 행로 중에 너희를 안으사 이곳까지 이르게 하셨느니라 하나]

5. 기름으로 내 머리에 바르십니다

양들을 괴롭히는 것은 벌레들과 파리들입니다. 그래서 목자들은 양들의 코와 머리에 기름을 발라줍니다. 바리와 벌레들을 물리칩니다.

마찬가지로 성령께서 임하시면 나를 괴롭히는 악령들이 떠나갑니다.

 

(1) 성령의 기름입니다.

(행 10:38, 개역) [하나님이 나사렛 예수에게 성령과 능력을 기름붓듯 하셨으매 저가 두루 다니시며 착한 일을 행하시고 마귀에게 눌린 모든 자를 고치셨으니 이는 하나님이 함께 하셨음이라]

(행 10:38, NKJV) ["how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.]

 

(2) 위로하십니다.

(고후 1:3-6, 개역) [[3] 찬송하리로다 그는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님이시요 자비의 아버지시요 모든 위로의 하나님이시며 [4] 우리의 모든 환난 중에서 우리를 위로하사 우리로 하여금 하나님께 받는 위로로써 모든 환난 중에 있는 자들을 능히 위로하게 하시는 이시로다 [5] 그리스도의 고난이 우리에게 넘친 것 같이 우리의 위로도 그리스도로 말미암아 넘치는도다 [6] 우리가 환난 받는 것도 너희의 위로와 구원을 위함이요 혹 위로 받는 것도 너희의 위로를 위함이니 이 위로가 너희 속에 역사하여 우리가 받는 것 같은 고난을 너희도 견디게 하느니라]

(4) 평강을 주십니다.

(5) 내잔이 넘칩니다.

넘치는 은혜입니다.

(엡 3:20-21, NKJV) [[20] Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, [21] to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.]

 

하나님의 능력과 사랑이 넘쳐나서 이웃에게 복음을 전하는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 축원합니다.

(요 7:38, 개역) [나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나리라 하시니]

(요 4:14, 개역) [내가 주는 물을 먹는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 나의 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라]

(6) 능력을 주십니다.

(살전 1:5, 개역) [이는 우리 복음이 말로만 너희에게 이른 것이 아니라 오직 능력과 성령과 큰 확신으로 된 것이니 우리가 너희 가운데서 너희를 위하여 어떠한 사람이 된 것은 너희 아는 바와 같으니라]

(살전 1:5, NKJV) [For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.]

 

(갈 3:5, 개역) [너희에게 성령을 주시고 너희 가운데서 능력을 행하시는 이의 일이 율법의 행위에서냐 듣고 믿음에서냐]

(갈 3:5, NKJV) [Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?--]

(7) 기쁨을 주십니다.

(8) 진리를 가르쳐 주십니다.

(9) 주님을 더욱 깊이 알게 하십니다.

(10) 말씀을 깨닫게 하십니다.

(딤후 3:16-17, 개역) [[16] 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 [17] 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전케 하며 모든 선한 일을 행하기에 온전케 하려 함이니라]

6. 내 평생에 여호와의 선하심과 인자하심이 나를 따를것입니다.

(1) 이전에 나를 인도하신 하나님 장래에도 인도하십니다.

(삼상 7:12-15, 개역) [[12] 사무엘이 돌을 취하여 미스바와 센 사이에 세워 가로되 여호와께서 여기까지 우리를 도우셨다 하고 그이름을 에벤에셀이라 하니라 [13] 이에 블레셋 사람이 굴복하여 다시는 이스라엘 경내에 들어오지 못하였으며 여호와의 손이 사무엘의 사는 날 동안에 블레셋 사람을 막으시매 [14] 블레셋 사람이 이스라엘에게서 빼앗았던 성읍이 에그론부터 가드까지 이스라엘에게 회복되니 이스라엘이 그 사방 지경을 블레셋 사람의 손에서 도로 찾았고 또 이스라엘과 아모리 사람 사이에 평화가 있었더라 [15] 사무엘이 사는 날 동안에 이스라엘을 다스렸으되]

(삼상 7:12-15, NKJV) [[12] Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the LORD has helped us." (2) 여호와 이레의 하나님이십니다.

(3) 신실하신 히니님

(시 136:1-5, 개역) [[1] 여호와께 감사하라 그는 선하시며 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [2] 모든 신에 뛰어나신 하나님께 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [3] 모든 주에 뛰어나신 주께 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [4] 홀로 큰 기사를 행하시는 이에게 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [5] 지혜로 하늘을 지으신 이에게 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다]

(시 136:1-5, NKJV) [[1] Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. [2] Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. [3] Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! (4) 악을 선으로 바꾸어주십니다.

(창 50:18-21, 개역) [[18] 그 형들이 또 친히 와서 요셉의 앞에 엎드려 가로되 우리는 당신의 종이니이다 [19] 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 두려워 마소서 내가 하나님을 대신하리이까 [20] 당신들은 나를 해하려 하였으나 하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 만민의 생명을 구원하게 하시려 하셨나니 [21] 당신들은 두려워 마소서 내가 당신들과 당신들의 자녀를 기르리이다 하고 그들을 간곡한 말로 위로하였더라]

(5) 나를 불쌍히 여기십니다.

(시 103:13, 개역) [아비가 자식을 불쌍히 여김 같이 여호와께서 자기를 경외하는 자를 불쌍히 여기시나니]

(시 103:13, NKJV) [As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him.]

 

(엡 4:31-32, 개역) [[31] 너희는 모든 악독과 노함과 분냄과 떠드는 것과 훼방하는 것을 모든 악의와 함께 버리고 [32] 서로 인자하게 하며 불쌍히 여기며 서로 용서하기를 하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하심과 같이 하라]

(엡 4:31-32, NKJV) [[31] Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. [32] And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.]

(6) 합력하여 선을 이루십니다.

(롬 8:26-28, 개역) [[26] 이와 같이 성령도 우리 연약함을 도우시나니 우리가 마땅히 빌 바를 알지 못하나 오직 성령이 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라 [27] 마음을 감찰하시는 이가 성령의 생각을 아시나니 이는 성령이 하나님의 뜻대로 성도를 위하여 간구하심이니라 [28] 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라]

(롬 8:26-28, NKJV) [[26] Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (7) 감당치 못할시험 허락하지 않으심.

(고전 10:12-13, NKJV) [[12] Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. [13] No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.]

 

7. 내가 여호와의 집에 영원히 거할것입니다.

(1) 교회에 머물겠다는 결단입니다.

(엡 1:21-24, 개역) [[21] 모든 정사와 권세와 능력과 주관하는 자와 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고 [22] 또 만물을 그 발 아래 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 주셨느니라 [23] 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만케 하시는 자의 충만이니라]

(엡 1:21-24, NKJV) [[21] far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. [22] And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, [23] which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.]

 

(시 122:6, 개역) [예루살렘을 위하여 평안을 구하라 예루살렘을 사랑하는 자는 형통하리로다]

(2) 천국소망의 확신입니다.

(빌 3:20-21, 개역) [[20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라]

(4) 주님 얼굴 뵈올 소망입니다.

(고전 13:12-13, 개역) [[12] 우리가 이제는 거울로 보는 것 같이 희미하나 그 때에는 얼굴과 얼굴을 대하여 볼 것이요 이제는 내가 부분적으로 아나 그 때에는 주께서 나를 아신 것 같이 내가 온전히 알리라 [13] 그런즉 믿음, 소망, 사랑, 이 세가지는 항상 있을 것인데 그 중에 제일은 사랑이라]

(고전 13:12-13, NKJV) [[12] For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. [13] And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.]

(5) 부활소망입니다.

(고전 15:21-23, 개역) [[21] 사망이 사람으로 말미암았으니 죽은 자의 부활도 사람으로 말미암는도다 [22] 아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽은 것 같이 그리스도 안에서 모든 사람이 삶을 얻으리라 [23] 그러나 각각 자기 차례대로 되리니 먼저는 첫 열매인 그리스도요 다음에는 그리스도 강림하실 때에 그에게 붙은 자요]

(고전 15:21-23, NKJV) [[21] For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. [23] But each one in his own order： Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.]

(6) 그날을 사모하며 살아야 합니다.

(벧후 3:11-13, 개역) [[11] 이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하뇨 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로 [12] 하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라 그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와 [13] 우리는 그의 약속대로 의의 거하는 바 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다]

(벧후 3:11-13, NKJV) [[11] Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, [12] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? (7) 경건한 삶을 살아야 합니다.

(살전 3:11-13, 개역) [[11] 하나님 우리 아버지와 우리 주 예수는 우리 길을 너희에게로 직행하게 하옵시며 [12] 또 주께서 우리가 너희를 사랑함과 같이 너희도 피차간과 모든 사람에 대한 사랑이 더욱 많아 넘치게 하사 [13] 너희 마음을 굳게 하시고 우리 주 예수께서 그의 모든 성도와 함께 강림하실 때에 하나님 우리 아버지 앞에서 거룩함에 흠이 없게 하시기를 원하노라]

(살전 3:11-13, NKJV) [[11] Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. [12] And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, [13] so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.]

(8) 깨어 기도해야 합니다.

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

영국에서 어느 사교 모임에서 시편 23편을 암송하는 순서가 있었습니다.

유명한 여배우가 일어나서 시편을 암송하자 사람들이 감명을 받고 박수를 쳤습니다.

그 다음에는 허름한 옷을 입은 나이가 든 남자분이 시편 23편을 낭독하게 되었습니다. 낭독을 마쳤는데 모든 사람이 조용하였습니다. 그러나 모든 사람들의 눈에는 눈물이 고여 있었습니다. 그러자 사회자가 말하였습니다. 여배우가 시편을 알고 있는 분이라면 이 남자분은 양으로써 목자되시는 예수님을 아는 분이라고 하였습니다.

 

나는 나를 사랑하시고 죽으신 주님을 알고 있슴니까?

그분을 따르고 있습니까?

이 광야세상에서 쉴만할 불가 푸른 초장은 어디 입니까?

주님의 품입니다. 교회입니다.

주님이 나와 항상 함께 계시기에 나는 두려움이 없습니다.

 

주님의 선하심과 인자하심은 영원합니다.

주님은 실로 나의 모든 것이 되십니다.
