<자유의 율법>
(롬 14:1-12, 개역) [1] 믿음이 연약한 자를 너희가 받되 그의 의심하는 바를 비판하지 말라 [2] 어떤 사람은 모든 것을 먹을 만한 믿음이 있고 연약한 자는 채소를 먹느니라 [3] 먹는 자는 먹지 않는 자를 업신여기지 말고 먹지 못하는 자는 먹는 자를 판단하지 말라 이는 하나님이 저를 받으셨음이니라 [4] 남의 하인을 판단하는 너는 누구뇨 그 섰는 것이나 넘어지는 것이 제 주인에게 있으매 저가 세움을 받으리니 이는 저를 세우시는 권능이 주께 있음이니라 [5] 혹은 이 날을 저 날보다 낫게 여기고 혹은 모든 날을 같게 여기나니 각각 자기 마음에 확정할지니라 [6] 날을 중히 여기는 자도 주를 위하여 중히 여기고 먹는 자도 주를 위하여 먹으니 이는 하나님께 감사함이요 먹지 않는 자도 주를 위하여 먹지 아니하며 하나님께 감사하느니라 [7] 우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다 [8] 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로라 [9] 이를 위하여 그리스도께서 죽었다가 다시 살으셨으니 곧 죽은 자와 산 자의 주가 되려 하심이니라 [10] 네가 어찌하여 네 형제를 판단하느뇨 어찌하여 네 형제를 업신여기느뇨 우리가 다 하나님의 심판대 앞에 서리라 [11] 기록되었으되 주께서 가라사대 내가 살았노니 모든 무릎이 내게 꿇을 것이요 모든 혀가 하나님께 자백하리라 하였느니라 [12] 이러므로 우리 각인이 자기 일을 하나님께 직고하리라
(롬 14:1-12, NKJV) [1] Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. [2] For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. [3] Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. [4] Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. [5] One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. [6] He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. [7] For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. [8] For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. [9] For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. [10] But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. [11] For it is written： "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God." [12] So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
오늘 본문은 그 당시 로마제국의 도시에서 일어나고 있는 상황을 반영하고 있습니다. 성도가 이 세상 문화와 부딪힐 때 일어나는 일입니다. 그 당시 우상숭배가 만연하여 있었고 그 우상들에게 제사로 바쳐지는 고기들은 시장에서 판매되고 있었습니다. 그런 사실을 아는 성도들은 자연히 고기를 먹지 않게 되었습니다. 그러나 우상이 아무것도 아니라는 사실을 아는 믿음이 강한 성도들은 양심에 아무 거리낌이 없이 고기를 먹을수가 있었습니다.
문제는 믿음이 강한 자와 약한 자들이 서로는 비방하고 무시하는 일들이 생겨난것입니다. 믿음이 약한자들은 고기를 먹는 자들을 못마땅해 하였고 믿음이 강한 자들은 고기를 못먹는 성도들을 무시하였던 것입니다.
가족안에서도 아기가 있고 어른이 있습니다. 강한자들이 약한자들을 돌보아야 합니다. 우상에게 바쳐진 음식을 자유롭게 먹는 것을 본 믿음이 약한자들은 자기들도 먹어도 된다고 생각하고 고기를 먹음으로 양심이 상하고 영적으로 가책을 받아 마음의 기쁨을 잃어버립니다. 고린도 교회에서도 비슷한일이 있었는데 바울은 다른 성도들의 믿음을 위하는 일이라면 평생 고기를 먹지 않겠다고 선언 하였습니다. 다른 성도들에게 거치는 일을 하면 않된다는 말씀입니다.
우리는 예수님 안에서 자유함이 있습니다. 율법에서 벗어났습니다. 무엇을 지켜라 하지말라는 율법에서 벗어났습니다. 죄에서 자유함을 얻었고 결코 정죄함이 없습니다. 자유와 기쁨입니다. 우리는 사랑으로 삽니다. 억지나 의무가 아니라 사랑으로 예배를 드리고 선한 일을 합니다. 자유함이 있지만 그 자유를 다쓰지 않고 이웃을 위하여 절제해야 합니다. 사랑은 자신을 희생하는 것입니다. 하나님이 두려워서 순종하는 것이 아니라 하나님을 사랑하기 때문에 기꺼이 기쁨으로 순종하고 희생하는 것입니다. 믿음이 약한 자들을 위하여 그들의 성장을 위하여 사랑으로 기다리며 절제하는 것입니다.
믿음이 약한 자들도 예수님이 받으신 같은 성도들입니다. 없신 여기거나 판단해서는 않됩니다. 그들은 주님안에서 거기까지 도달한 것입니다. 주님 안에서 어린아이들같이 사랑해주고 도와주고 성장할수 있도록 가르쳐야 합니다.
우리는 다 주님의 것입니다. 주님을 위하여 삽니다.
나가서 우리는 언젠가 다 하나님의 심판대 앞에 서게 될것입니다.
인생을 계산 할 날이 반드시 옵니다.
그때 이웃을 대한 우리들의 말과 행실과 태도가 모두 들어나서 심판과 상급으로 나타나게 될것입니다.
자유함이 있지만 그 자유를 이웃을 위하여 사랑으로 절제하는 것입니다.
서로 사랑하라고 하셨습니다.
오늘도 이 말씀을 통하여 더욱 서로 사랑하며 도웁고 참아주면서 함께 성장하는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.
1. 믿음이 연약한자를 비판하지 말라.
(1) 영원히 고기를 먹지 아니하리라.
(고전 8:9-13, 개역) [9] 그런즉 너희 자유함이 약한 자들에게 거치는 것이 되지 않도록 조심하라 [10] 지식 있는 네가 우상의 집에 앉아 먹는 것을 누구든지 보면 그 약한 자들의 양심이 담력을 얻어 어찌 우상의 제물을 먹게 되지 않겠느냐 [11] 그러면 네 지식으로 그 약한 자가 멸망하나니 그는 그리스도께서 위하여 죽으신 형제라 [12] 이같이 너희가 형제에게 죄를 지어 그 약한 양심을 상하게 하는 것이 곧 그리스도에게 죄를 짓는 것이니라 [13] 그러므로 만일 식물이 내 형제로 실족케 하면 나는 영원히 고기를 먹지 아니하여 내 형제를 실족치 않게 하리라
(고전 8:9-13, NKJV) [9] But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak. [10] For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? [11] And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? [12] But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. [13] Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.
(2) 수건이 벗어진다.
(고후 3:12-18, 개역) [12] 우리가 이같은 소망이 있으므로 담대히 말하노니 [13] 우리는 모세가 이스라엘 자손들로 장차 없어질 것의 결국을 주목치 못하게 하려고 수건을 그 얼굴에 쓴 것 같이 아니하노라 [14] 그러나 저희 마음이 완고하여 오늘까지라도 구약을 읽을 때에 그 수건이 오히려 벗어지지 아니하고 있으니 그 수건은 그리스도 안에서 없어질 것이라 [15] 오늘까지 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 수건이 오히려 그 마음을 덮었도다 [16] 그러나 언제든지 주께로 돌아가면 그 수건이 벗어지리라 [17] 주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유함이 있느니라 [18] 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 저와 같은 형상으로 화하여 영광으로 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라
(고후 3:12-18, NKJV) [12] Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech-- [13] unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. [14] But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. [15] But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. [16] Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. [17] Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. [18] But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(3) 자유함을 주셨으니.
(갈 5:1-3, 개역) [1] 그리스도께서 우리로 자유케 하려고 자유를 주셨으니 그러므로 굳세게 서서 다시는 종의 멍에를 메지 말라 [2] 보라 나 바울은 너희에게 말하노니 너희가 만일 할례를 받으면 그리스도께서 너희에게 아무 유익이 없으리라 [3] 내가 할례를 받는 각 사람에게 다시 증거하노니 그는 율법 전체를 행할 의무를 가진 자라
(갈 5:1-3, NKJV) [1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. [2] Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. [3] And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.
(4) 자유로 방종하지 말라.
(갈 5:13-14, 개역) [13] 형제들아 너희가 자유를 위하여 부르심을 입었으나 그러나 그 자유로 육체의 기회를 삼지 말고 오직 사랑으로 서로 종 노릇 하라 [14] 온 율법은 네 이웃 사랑하기를 네 몸 같이 하라 하신 한 말씀에 이루었나니
(갈 5:13-14, NKJV) [13] For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this： "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
(5) 진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라.
(요 8:31-32, 개역) [31] 그러므로 예수께서 자기를 믿은 유대인들에게 이르시되 너희가 내 말에 거하면 참 내 제자가 되고 [32] 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라
(요 8:31-32, NKJV) [31] Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. [32] "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
(6) 가족으로 본 교회
(고전 3:1-4, 개역) [1] 형제들아 내가 신령한 자들을 대함과 같이 너희에게 말할 수 없어서 육신에 속한 자 곧 그리스도 안에서 어린 아이들을 대함과 같이 하노라 [2] 내가 너희를 젖으로 먹이고 밥으로 아니하였노니 이는 너희가 감당치 못하였음이거니와 지금도 못하리라 [3] 너희가 아직도 육신에 속한 자로다 너희 가운데 시기와 분쟁이 있으니 어찌 육신에 속하여 사람을 따라 행함이 아니리요 [4] 어떤 이는 말하되 나는 바울에게라 하고 다른 이는 나는 아볼로에게라 하니 너희가 사람이 아니리요
(고전 3:1-4, NKJV) [1] And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. [2] I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; [3] for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? [4] For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
(7) 약한자도 하나님이 받으심.

(갈 3:26-29, NKJV) [26] For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(8) 거리끼지 않게 하라.
(롬 14:20-21, 개역) [20] 식물을 인하여 하나님의 사업을 무너지게 말라 만물이 다 정하되 거리낌으로 먹는 사람에게는 악하니라 [21] 고기도 먹지 아니하고 포도주도 마시지 아니하고 무엇이든지 네 형제로 거리끼게 하는 일을 아니함이 아름다우니라
(롬 14:20-21, NKJV) [20] Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. [21] It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.
(9) 사랑은 두려움을 내 쫓음.
(요일 4:17-21, 개역) [17] 이로써 사랑이 우리에게 온전히 이룬 것은 우리로 심판 날에 담대함을 가지게 하려 함이니 주의 어떠하심과 같이 우리도 세상에서 그러하니라 [18] 사랑 안에 두려움이 없고 온전한 사랑이 두려움을 내어 쫓나니 두려움에는 형벌이 있음이라 두려워하는 자는 사랑 안에서 온전히 이루지 못하였느니라 [19] 우리가 사랑함은 그가 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨음이라 [20] 누구든지 하나님을 사랑하노라 하고 그 형제를 미워하면 이는 거짓말하는 자니 보는 바 그 형제를 사랑치 아니하는 자가 보지 못하는 바 하나님을 사랑할 수 없느니라 [21] 우리가 이 계명을 주께 받았나니 하나님을 사랑하는 자는 또한 그 형제를 사랑할지니라
(요일 4:17-21, NKJV) [17] Love has been perfected among us in this： that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. [18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. [19] We love Him because He first loved us. [20] If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? [21] And this commandment we have from Him： that he who loves God must love his brother also.
(10) 하나님의 권속
(엡 2:19-21, 개역) [19] 그러므로 이제부터 너희가 외인도 아니요 손도 아니요 오직 성도들과 동일한 시민이요 하나님의 권속이라 [20] 너희는 사도들과 선지자들의 터 위에 세우심을 입은 자라 그리스도 예수께서 친히 모퉁이 돌이 되셨느니라 [21] 그의 안에서 건물마다 서로 연결하여 주 안에서 성전이 되어 가고
(엡 2:19-21, NKJV) [19] Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, [20] having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, [21] in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
2. 자기를 위하여 살고 자기를 위하여 사는 자들.
(1) 배를 신으로
(롬 16:17-18, 개역) [17] 형제들아 내가 너희를 권하노니 너희 교훈을 거스려 분쟁을 일으키고 거치게 하는 자들을 살피고 저희에게서 떠나라 [18] 이같은 자들은 우리 주 그리스도를 섬기지 아니하고 다만 자기의 배만 섬기나니 공교하고 아첨하는 말로 순진한 자들의 마음을 미혹하느니라
(롬 16:17-18, NKJV) [17] Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. [18] For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
(2) 정욕
(엡 2:1-3, 개역) [1] 너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다 [2] 그 때에 너희가 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍속을 좇고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라 [3] 전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음의 원하는 것을 하여 다른 이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니
(엡 2:1-3, NKJV) [1] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, [2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, [3] among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
(3) 하나님이 없음
(엡 2:11-13, 개역) [11] 그러므로 생각하라 너희는 그 때에 육체로 이방인이요 손으로 육체에 행한 할례당이라 칭하는 자들에게 무할례당이라 칭함을 받는 자들이라 [12] 그 때에 너희는 그리스도 밖에 있었고 이스라엘 나라 밖의 사람이라 약속의 언약들에 대하여 외인이요 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님도 없는 자이더니 [13] 이제는 전에 멀리 있던 너희가 그리스도 예수 안에서 그리스도의 피로 가까워졌느니라
(엡 2:11-13, NKJV) [11] Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- [12] that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. [13] But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
(4) 성령이 없음.
(빌 3:17-21, 개역) [17] 형제들아 너희는 함께 나를 본받으라 또 우리로 본을 삼은 것 같이 그대로 행하는 자들을 보이라 [18] 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라 [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라
(빌 3:17-21, NKJV) [17] Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. [18] For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ： [19] whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. [20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
(5) 소망이 없음.
(엡 2:12, 개역) 그 때에 너희는 그리스도 밖에 있었고 이스라엘 나라 밖의 사람이라 약속의 언약들에 대하여 외인이요 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님도 없는 자이더니
(Eph 2:12, NKJV) that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
(계 21:8, 개역) 그러나 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 행음자들과 술객들과 우상 숭배자들과 모든 거짓말하는 자들은 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 참예하리니 이것이 둘째 사망이라
(Rv 21:8, NKJV) "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
(6) 세상 풍속.
(요일 2:15-17, 개역) [15] 이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑치 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 속에 있지 아니하니 [16] 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라 [17] 이 세상도 그 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라
(요일 2:15-17, NKJV) [15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. [17] And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
(7) 어리석은 부자.
(눅 16:19-25, 개역) [19] 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데 [20] 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 [21] 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 [22] 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 [23] 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 [24] 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 [25] 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라
(눅 16:19-25, NKJV) [19] "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. [20] "But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, [21] "desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. [23] "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [25] "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.
(8) 마귀에게 속고 있음.
(요 8:44, 개역) 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라
(Jn 8:44, NKJV) "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(계 12:9, 개역) 큰 용이 내어 쫓기니 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사단이라고도 하는 온 천하를 꾀는 자라 땅으로 내어 쫓기니 그의 사자들도 저와 함께 내어 쫓기니라
(Rv 12:9, NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
(9) 영원 형벌.
(요 5:29, 개역) 선한 일을 행한 자는 생명의 부활로, 악한 일을 행한 자는 심판의 부활로 나오리라
(Jn 5:29, NKJV) "and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
(마 25:45-46, 개역) [45] 이에 임금이 대답하여 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 하지 아니한 것이 곧 내게 하지 아니한 것이니라 하시리니 [46] 저희는 영벌에 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라
(마 25:45-46, NKJV) [45] "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' [46] "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
3. 주를 위하여 살고 주를 위하여 죽는자들.
(1) 강권하시는 사랑. 고후 5.
(고후 5:14-15, 개역) [14] 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라 [15] 저가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 산 자들로 하여금 다시는 저희 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 저희를 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 사신 자를 위하여 살게 하려 함이니라
(고후 5:14-15, NKJV) [14] For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus： that if One died for all, then all died; [15] and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
(2) 사는 것이
(빌 1:18-21, 개역) [18] 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라 [19] 이것이 너희 간구와 예수 그리스도의 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할 줄 아는 고로 [20] 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니 [21] 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라
(빌 1:18-21, NKJV) [18] What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. [19] For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, [20] according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. [21] For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
(3) 딤후 4.
ǰ(딤후 4:6-8, 개역) [6] 관제와 같이 벌써 내가 부음이 되고 나의 떠날 기약이 가까웠도다 [7] 내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니 [8] 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이니 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게니라
(딤후 4:6-8, NKJV) [6] For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
(4) 행 20.24
(행 20:24, 개역) 나의 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음 증거하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명을 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라
(Ac 20:24, NKJV) "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
(5) 목베임을
(계 20:4, 개역) 또 내가 보좌들을 보니 거기 앉은 자들이 있어 심판하는 권세를 받았더라 또 내가 보니 예수의 증거와 하나님의 말씀을 인하여 목 베임을 받은 자의 영혼들과 또 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하지도 아니하고 이마와 손에 그의 표를 받지도 아니한 자들이 살아서 그리스도로 더불어 천 년 동안 왕 노릇 하니
(Rv 20:4, NKJV) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
(계 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 다섯째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 보니 하나님의 말씀과 저희의 가진 증거를 인하여 죽임을 당한 영혼들이 제단 아래 있어 [10] 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 대주재여 땅에 거하는 자들을 심판하여 우리 피를 신원하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니 [11] 각각 저희에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 가라사대 아직 잠시 동안 쉬되 저희 동무 종들과 형제들도 자기처럼 죽임을 받아 그 수가 차기까지 하라 하시더라
(계 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" [11] Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
(6) 죽기 까지 계 12
(계 12:7-11, 개역) [7] 하늘에 전쟁이 있으니 미가엘과 그의 사자들이 용으로 더불어 싸울새 용과 그의 사자들도 싸우나 [8] 이기지 못하여 다시 하늘에서 저희의 있을 곳을 얻지 못한지라 [9] 큰 용이 내어 쫓기니 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사단이라고도 하는 온 천하를 꾀는 자라 땅으로 내어 쫓기니 그의 사자들도 저와 함께 내어 쫓기니라 [10] 내가 또 들으니 하늘에 큰 음성이 있어 가로되 이제 우리 하나님의 구원과 능력과 나라와 또 그의 그리스도의 권세가 이루었으니 우리 형제들을 참소하던 자 곧 우리 하나님 앞에서 밤낮 참소하던 자가 쫓겨났고 [11] 또 여러 형제가 어린 양의 피와 자기의 증거하는 말을 인하여 저를 이기었으니 그들은 죽기까지 자기 생명을 아끼지 아니하였도다

[11] "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
(7) 빌 2.17
(빌 2:17, 개역) 만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴지라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니
(Php 2:17, NKJV) Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
(8) 죽도록 충성하라.
(계 2:10, 개역) 네가 장차 받을 고난을 두려워 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데서 몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가 죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 면류관을 네게 주리라
(Rv 2:10, NKJV) "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
(9) 그리스도께서 사신 것이라.
(갈 2:20, 개역) 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라
(Gl 2:20, NKJV) "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
(10) 화목제로 바쳐지신 주님.
(요일 4:7-11, 개역) [7] 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님께로 나서 하나님을 알고 [8] 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라 [9] 하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 저로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이니라 [10] 사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 오직 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 위하여 화목제로 그 아들을 보내셨음이니라 [11] 사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다
(요일 4:7-11, NKJV) [7] Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. [8] He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. [9] In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
4. 죽었다가 다시 사신 주님.
(1) 예수님이 십자가에서 죽으심
(행 4:10, 개역) 너희와 모든 이스라엘 백성들은 알라 너희가 십자가에 못 박고 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 사람이 건강하게 되어 너희 앞에 섰느니라
(Ac 4:10, NKJV) "let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
(2) 우리는 십자가에서 함께 죽음
(롬 6:1-7, 개역) [1] 그런즉 우리가 무슨 말 하리요 은혜를 더하게 하려고 죄에 거하겠느뇨 [2] 그럴 수 없느니라 죄에 대하여 죽은 우리가 어찌 그 가운데 더 살리요 [3] 무릇 그리스도 예수와 합하여 세례를 받은 우리는 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례 받은 줄을 알지 못하느뇨 [4] 그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이니라 [5] 만일 우리가 그의 죽으심을 본받아 연합한 자가 되었으면 또한 그의 부활을 본받아 연합한 자가 되리라 [6] 우리가 알거니와 우리 옛 사람이 예수와 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 것은 죄의 몸이 멸하여 다시는 우리가 죄에게 종노릇하지 아니하려 함이니 [7] 이는 죽은 자가 죄에서 벗어나 의롭다 하심을 얻었음이니라
(롬 6:1-7, NKJV) [1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? [3] Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? [4] Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, [6] knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. [7] For he who has died has been freed from sin.
(3) 사랑의 확증.
(롬 5:8-10, 개역) [8] 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에게 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라 [9] 그러면 이제 우리가 그 피를 인하여 의롭다 하심을 얻었은즉 더욱 그로 말미암아 진노하심에서 구원을 얻을 것이니 [10] 곧 우리가 원수 되었을 때에 그 아들의 죽으심으로 말미암아 하나님으로 더불어 화목되었은즉 화목된 자로서는 더욱 그의 살으심을 인하여 구원을 얻을 것이니라
(롬 5:8-10, NKJV) [8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. [10] For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
(4) 십자가에서 우리를 자유케 하심
(갈 6:14, 개역) 그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여 그러하니라
(Gl 6:14, NKJV) But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
(골 2:14-15, 개역) [14] 우리를 거스리고 우리를 대적하는 의문에 쓴 증서를 도말하시고 제하여 버리사 십자가에 못 박으시고 [15] 정사와 권세를 벗어버려 밝히 드러내시고 십자가로 승리하셨느니라
(골 2:14-15, NKJV) [14] having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. [15] Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
(5) 구속
(엡 1:7, 개역) 우리가 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 구속 곧 죄 사함을 받았으니
(Eph 1:7, NKJV) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
(5) 피로.
(벧전 1:18-19, 개역) [18] 너희가 알거니와 너희 조상의 유전한 망령된 행실에서 구속된 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질 것으로 한 것이 아니요 [19] 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 한 것이니라
(벧전 1:18-19, NKJV) [18] knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
(6) 부활승리.

(9) 교회의 머리

(엡 1:21-23, NKJV) [21] far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. [22] And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, [23] which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
(10) 하나님 우편에.
(롬 8:32-34, 개역) [32] 자기 아들을 아끼지 아니하시고 우리 모든 사람을 위하여 내어 주신 이가 어찌 그 아들과 함께 모든 것을 우리에게 은사로 주지 아니하시겠느뇨 [33] 누가 능히 하나님의 택하신 자들을 송사하리요 의롭다 하신 이는 하나님이시니 [34] 누가 정죄하리요 죽으실 뿐 아니라 다시 살아나신 이는 그리스도 예수시니 그는 하나님 우편에 계신 자요 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 자시니라
(롬 8:32-34, NKJV) [32] He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? [33] Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. [34] Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

(히 12:1-2, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(12) 계 1.18
(계 1:13-18, 개역) [13] 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고 [14] 그 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 [15] 그의 발은 풀무에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물소리와 같으며 [16] 그 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은 해가 힘있게 비취는 것 같더라 [17] 내가 볼 때에 그 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매 그가 오른손을 내게 얹고 가라사대 두려워 말라 나는 처음이요 나중이니 [18] 곧 산 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어 사망과 음부의 열쇠를 가졌노니

5. 사나 죽으나 주의 것.
(1) 피로사심
(고전 6:19-21, 개역) [19] 너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신 성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 너희의 것이 아니라 [20] 값으로 산 것이 되었으니 그런즉 너희 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리라
(고전 6:19-21, NKJV) [19] Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? [20] For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
(2) 성령으로 인치심.
(엡 1:13-14, 개역) [13] 그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니 [14] 이는 우리의 기업에 보증이 되사 그 얻으신 것을 구속하시고 그의 영광을 찬미하게 하려 하심이라
(엡 1:13-14, NKJV) [13] In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, [14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
(고후 1:22, 개역) 저가 또한 우리에게 인치시고 보증으로 성령을 우리 마음에 주셨느니라
(2Co 1:22, NKJV) who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
(3) 생명 주심
(요 1:12, 개역) 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니
(Jn 1:12, NKJV) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name：
(요 3:16, 개역) 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라
(Jn 3:16, NKJV) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(요일 5:12-13, 개역) [12] 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라 [13] 내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓴 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라
(요일 5:12-13, NKJV) [12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. [13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
(4) 인생의 주님.
(롬 10:9-10, 개역) [9] 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 얻으리니 [10] 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라
(롬 10:9-10, NKJV) [9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(고전 12:3, 개역) 그러므로 내가 너희에게 알게 하노니 하나님의 영으로 말하는 자는 누구든지 예수를 저주할 자라 하지 않고 또 성령으로 아니하고는 누구든지 예수를 주시라 할 수 없느니라
(1Co 12:3, NKJV) Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
(5) 절대복종.
(빌 2:9-11, 개역) [9] 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 [10] 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 [11] 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
(빌 2:9-11, NKJV) [9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(6) 주님을 사랑.
(요 21:15, 개역) 저희가 조반 먹은 후에 예수께서 시몬 베드로에게 이르시되 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐 하시니 가로되 주여 그러하외다 내가 주를 사랑하는 줄 주께서 아시나이다 가라사대 내 어린 양을 먹이라 하시고
(Jn 21:15, NKJV) So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
(7) 고전 3.22ㅡ23
(고전 3:22-23, 개역) [22] 바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 세계나 생명이나 사망이나 지금 것이나 장래 것이나 다 너희의 것이요 [23] 너희는 그리스도의 것이요 그리스도는 하나님의 것이니라
(고전 3:22-23, NKJV) [22] whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come--all are yours. [23] And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
(8) 살전 4.13ㅡ18.
(살전 4:13-18, 개역) [13] 형제들아 자는 자들에 관하여는 너희가 알지 못함을 우리가 원치 아니하노니 이는 소망 없는 다른 이와 같이 슬퍼하지 않게 하려 함이라 [14] 우리가 예수의 죽었다가 다시 사심을 믿을진대 이와 같이 예수 안에서 자는 자들도 하나님이 저와 함께 데리고 오시리라 [15] 우리가 주의 말씀으로 너희에게 이것을 말하노니 주 강림하실 때까지 우리 살아 남아 있는 자도 자는 자보다 결단코 앞서지 못하리라 [16] 주께서 호령과 천사장의 소리와 하나님의 나팔로 친히 하늘로 좇아 강림하시리니 그리스도 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고 [17] 그 후에 우리 살아 남은 자도 저희와 함께 구름 속으로 끌어올려 공중에서 주를 영접하게 하시리니 그리하여 우리가 항상 주와 함께 있으리라 [18] 그러므로 이 여러 말로 서로 위로하라
(살전 4:13-18, NKJV) [13] But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. [15] For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. [16] For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (9) 사랑의 법이 천국의 법
(마 22:37-40, 개역) [37] 예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 [38] 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 [39] 둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 [40] 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라
(마 22:37-40, NKJV) [37] Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [38] "This is the first and great commandment. [39] "And the second is like it： 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' [40] "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
(10) 주님을 사랑함
(고전 16:22, 개역) 만일 누구든지 주를 사랑하지 아니하거든 저주를 받을지어다 주께서 임하시느니라
(1Co 16:22, NKJV) If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!
(11) 주님을 갈망함
(시 42:1-3, 개역) [1] [고라 자손의 마스길, 영장으로 한 노래] 하나님이여 사슴이 시냇물을 찾기에 갈급함 같이 내 영혼이 주를 찾기에 갈급하니이다 [2] 내 영혼이 하나님 곧 생존하시는 하나님을 갈망하나니 내가 어느 때에 나아가서 하나님 앞에 뵈올꼬 [3] 사람들이 종일 나더러 하는 말이 네 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 하니 내 눈물이 주야로 내 음식이 되었도다
(시 42:1-3, NKJV) [1] To the Chief Musician. A Contmeplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. [2] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? [3] My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, "Where is your God?"
6. 우리가 다 하나님의 심판대 앞에 서리라.
(1) 양과 염소
(마 25:31-35, 개역) [31] 인자가 자기 영광으로 모든 천사와 함께 올 때에 자기 영광의 보좌에 앉으리니 [32] 모든 민족을 그 앞에 모으고 각각 분별하기를 목자가 양과 염소를 분별하는 것 같이 하여 [33] 양은 그 오른편에 염소는 왼편에 두리라 [34] 그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속하라 [35] 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고
(마 25:31-35, NKJV) [31] "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. [32] "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. [33] "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. [34] "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world： [35] 'for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
(2) 악한 종 착하고 충성된 종
(마 25:20-21, 개역) [20] 다섯 달란트 받았던 자는 다섯 달란트를 더 가지고 와서 가로되 주여 내게 다섯 달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 다섯 달란트를 남겼나이다 [21] 그 주인이 이르되 잘 하였도다 착하고 충성된 종아 네가 작은 일에 충성하였으매 내가 많은 것으로 네게 맡기리니 네 주인의 즐거움에 참예할지어다 하고
(마 25:20-21, NKJV) [20] "So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.' [21] "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
(3) 최후의 심판.
(계 20:11-15, 개역) [11] 또 내가 크고 흰 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 자를 보니 땅과 하늘이 그 앞에서 피하여 간 데 없더라 [12] 또 내가 보니 죽은 자들이 무론대소하고 그 보좌 앞에 섰는데 책들이 펴 있고 또 다른 책이 펴졌으니 곧 생명책이라 죽은 자들이 자기 행위를 따라 책들에 기록된 대로 심판을 받으니 [13] 바다가 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주고 또 사망과 음부도 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주매 각 사람이 자기의 행위대로 심판을 받고 [14] 사망과 음부도 불못에 던지우니 이것은 둘째 사망 곧 불못이라 [15] 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던지우더라
(계 20:11-15, NKJV) [11] Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (4) 부자와 나사로
(눅 16:19-25, 개역) [19] 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데 [20] 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 [21] 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 [22] 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 [23] 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 [24] 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 [25] 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라
(눅 16:19-25, NKJV) [19] "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. [20] "But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, [21] "desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. [23] "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [25] "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.
(5) 상급.
(막 10:28-31, 개역) [28] 베드로가 여짜와 가로되 보소서 우리가 모든 것을 버리고 주를 좇았나이다 [29] 예수께서 가라사대 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나와 및 복음을 위하여 집이나 형제나 자매나 어미나 아비나 자식이나 전토를 버린 자는 [30] 금세에 있어 집과 형제와 자매와 모친과 자식과 전토를 백 배나 받되 핍박을 겸하여 받고 내세에 영생을 받지 못할 자가 없느니라 [31] 그러나 먼저 된 자로서 나중 되고 나중 된 자로서 먼저 될 자가 많으니라
(막 10:28-31, NKJV) [28] Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You." [29] So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's, [30] "who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time--houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions--and in the age to come, eternal life. [31] "But many who are first will be last, and the last first."
(6) 달란트 비유.
(마 25:14-16, 개역) [14] 또 어떤 사람이 타국에 갈제 그 종들을 불러 자기 소유를 맡김과 같으니 [15] 각각 그 재능대로 하나에게는 금 다섯 달란트를, 하나에게는 두 달란트를, 하나에게는 한 달란트를 주고 떠났더니 [16] 다섯 달란트 받은 자는 바로 가서 그것으로 장사하여 또 다섯 달란트를 남기고
(마 25:14-16, NKJV) [14] "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. [15] "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. (7) 생명책.
(빌 4:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 나의 사랑하고 사모하는 형제들, 나의 기쁨이요 면류관인 사랑하는 자들아 이와 같이 주 안에 서라 [2] 내가 유오디아를 권하고 순두게를 권하노니 주 안에서 같은 마음을 품으라 [3] 또 참으로 나와 멍에를 같이 한 자, 네게 구하노니 복음에 나와 함께 힘쓰던 저 부녀들을 돕고 또한 글레멘드와 그 위에 나의 동역자들을 도우라 그 이름들이 생명책에 있느니라
(빌 4:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. [2] I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. [3] And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
(8) 계 5.14
(계 5:13-14, 개역) [13] 내가 또 들으니 하늘 위에와 땅 위에와 땅 아래와 바다 위에와 또 그 가운데 모든 만물이 가로되 보좌에 앉으신 이와 어린 양에게 찬송과 존귀와 영광과 능력을 세세토록 돌릴지어다 하니 [14] 네 생물이 가로되 아멘 하고 장로들은 엎드려 경배하더라
(계 5:13-14, NKJV) [13] And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying： "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!" [14] Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

(요 5:22, 개역) 아버지께서 아무도 심판하지 아니하시고 심판을 다 아들에게 맡기셨으니

(10) 향 10.42
(행 10:42, 개역) 우리를 명하사 백성에게 전도하되 하나님이 산 자와 죽은 자의 재판장으로 정하신 자가 곧 이 사람인 것을 증거하게 하셨고
(Ac 10:42, NKJV) "And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.
(11) 행 17.31
(행 17:31, 개역) 이는 정하신 사람으로 하여금 천하를 공의로 심판할 날을 작정하시고 이에 저를 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리신 것으로 모든 사람에게 믿을 만한 증거를 주셨음이니라 하니라
(Ac 17:31, NKJV) "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
(12) 고후 5.10
(고후 5:10, 개역) 이는 우리가 다 반드시 그리스도의 심판대 앞에 드러나 각각 선악간에 그 몸으로 행한 것을 따라 받으려 함이라
(2Co 5:10, NKJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
7. 각인이 자기일을 하나님께 직고 하리라.
(1) 빌 2.9.10

(3) 나를 알고계신 하나님.

(4) 행한 대로.
(롬 2:6-8, 개역) [6] 하나님께서 각 사람에게 그 행한 대로 보응하시되 [7] 참고 선을 행하여 영광과 존귀와 썩지 아니함을 구하는 자에게는 영생으로 하시고 [8] 오직 당을 지어 진리를 좇지 아니하고 불의를 좇는 자에게는 노와 분으로 하시리라
(롬 2:6-8, NKJV) [6] who "will render to each one according to his deeds"： [7] eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; [8] but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,
(5) 그리스도의 심판대.
(고후 5:10, 개역) 이는 우리가 다 반드시 그리스도의 심판대 앞에 드러나 각각 선악간에 그 몸으로 행한 것을 따라 받으려 함이라
(2Co 5:10, NKJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
(6) 마 12.36
(마 12:36, 개역) 내가 너희에게 이르노니 사람이 무슨 무익한 말을 하든지 심판 날에 이에 대하여 심문을 받으리니
(Mt 12:36, NKJV) "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

(벧전 4:5, 개역) 저희가 산 자와 죽은 자 심판하기를 예비하신 자에게 직고하리라
(1Pt 4:5, NKJV) They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
(8) 전 12.23ㅡ24
(전 12:13-14, 개역) [13] 일의 결국을 다 들었으니 하나님을 경외하고 그 명령을 지킬지어다 이것이 사람의 본분이니라 [14] 하나님은 모든 행위와 모든 은밀한 일을 선악간에 심판하시리라
(전 12:13-14, NKJV) [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter： Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. [14] For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.
(9) 마 10.32
(마 10:32-33, 개역) [32] 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 저를 시인할 것이요 [33] 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하면 나도 하늘에 계신 내 아버지 앞에서 저를 부인하리라
(마 10:32-33, NKJV) [32] "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. [33] "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
(10) 고전 4.5
(고전 4:5, 개역) 그러므로 때가 이르기 전 곧 주께서 오시기까지 아무 것도 판단치 말라 그가 어두움에 감추인 것들을 드러내고 마음의 뜻을 나타내시리니 그 때에 각 사람에게 하나님께로부터 칭찬이 있으리라

사랑하는 성도 여러분,
나의 인생의 목적과 의미는 무엇입니까?
우리는 자유함이 있지만 그 자유로 이웃을 거치게 해서는 않됩니다.
우리는 살든지 죽든지 주님을 위하여 살고 죽습니다.
이제 우리는 사나 죽으나 우리는 주의 것입니다.
이를 위하여 주님께서 십자가를 지셨고 다시 살아나셨습니다.
우리는 주님 얼굴을 뵈올 때 까지 주님의 영광을 위하여 살아야 합니다.
우리는 다 언젠가 하나님의 심판대 앞에 서게 될것입니다.
그 때 받을 상급을 쌓아 놓는 삶을 살아야 합니다.
우리는 지금 여기서 하나님의 임재 앞에서 살아야 합니다.
우리들의 인생의 모든 일을 하나님 앞에 결산하고 직고할 때가 옵니다.
정직하게 살아야 합니다.
오늘도, 사나 죽으나 주님의 것임을 깨닫고 오직 주님을 위하여 남은 인생을 살아감으로 감격의 눈물로 주님 얼굴 뵈옵는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
