<세상과 성도들>

(롬 13:1-14, 개역) [1] 각 사람은 위에 있는 권세들에게 굴복하라 권세는 하나님께로 나지 않음이 없나니 모든 권세는 다 하나님의 정하신 바라 [2] 그러므로 권세를 거스리는 자는 하나님의 명을 거스림이니 거스리는 자들은 심판을 자취하리라 [3] 관원들은 선한 일에 대하여 두려움이 되지 않고 악한 일에 대하여 되나니 네가 권세를 두려워하지 아니하려느냐 선을 행하라 그리하면 그에게 칭찬을 받으리라 [4] 그는 하나님의 사자가 되어 네게 선을 이루는 자니라 그러나 네가 악을 행하거든 두려워하라 그가 공연히 칼을 가지지 아니하였으니 곧 하나님의 사자가 되어 악을 행하는 자에게 진노하심을 위하여 보응하는 자니라 [5] 그러므로 굴복하지 아니할 수 없으니 노를 인하여만 할 것이 아니요 또한 양심을 인하여 할 것이라 [6] 너희가 공세를 바치는 것도 이를 인함이라 저희가 하나님의 일꾼이 되어 바로 이 일에 항상 힘쓰느니라 [7] 모든 자에게 줄 것을 주되 공세를 받을 자에게 공세를 바치고 국세 받을 자에게 국세를 바치고 두려워할 자를 두려워하며 존경할 자를 존경하라 [8] 피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무에게든지 아무 빚도 지지 말라 남을 사랑하는 자는 율법을 다 이루었느니라 [9] 간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도적질하지 말라, 탐내지 말라 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이 있을지라도 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라 하신 그 말씀 가운데 다 들었느니라 [10] 사랑은 이웃에게 악을 행치 아니하나니 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라 [11] 또한 너희가 이 시기를 알거니와 자다가 깰 때가 벌써 되었으니 이는 이제 우리의 구원이 처음 믿을 때보다 가까웠음이니라 [12] 밤이 깊고 낮이 가까웠으니 그러므로 우리가 어두움의 일을 벗고 빛의 갑옷을 입자 [13] 낮에와 같이 단정히 행하고 방탕과 술 취하지 말며 음란과 호색하지 말며 쟁투와 시기하지 말고 [14] 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 위하여 육신의 일을 도모하지 말라

(롬 13:1-14, NKJV) [1] Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. [2] Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. [3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. [4] For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. [5] Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake. [6] For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. [7] Render therefore to all their due： taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. [8] Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. [9] For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [10] Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. [11] And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. [12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. [13] Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. [14] But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

 

오늘 본문은 12장에서 계속이어지는 말씀으로 이 세상에서 예수님을 믿는 성도들의 합당한 생활을 말씀하고 있습니다. 복음의 적용을 의미합니다. 먼저 위에 있는 권세에 복종하라고 말씀합니다. 모든 권세는 하나님에게서 났다고 말씀합니다. 의문이 자연히 생깁니다. 악한 정권도 하나님이 세우신 것일 까요? 그것은 아닙니다. 그러나 하나님의 허락하시는 통제아래 있습니다.

사실 어떻게 생각하면 이 세상에 악이 존재하는 이유는 이 세상이 타락하였기 때문이요 마귀와 악령들이 역사하고 있기 때문입니다. 그러나 하나님은 그 악을 통하여 성도들이 훈련을 받고 더욱 거룩하게 되고 하나님만을 의지하며 하나님의 영광을 보게 되면 나가서 하나님의 역사하심을 맛보게 하시려는 의도가 있습니다. 우리는 아직 천국에 도착한 것이 아닙니다.

권세에 복종하는 이유는 쓸데 없는 오해와 분쟁을 일으키는 것을 막기 위함이며 복음 전파와 선교에 방해가 되지 않게 하기 위함입니다. 우리는 어느 면에서 둘 사이에 끼어 있습니다. 이 세상에 살고 있기만 이세상에 속하지는 않았습니다. 우리는 천국시민입니다. 우리는 사회적인 질서와 법에 복종해야 하지만 직접적으로 하나님을 배반하고 우상을 섬기도록 강제하는 정권에는 불복종 해야 합니다. 다니엘의 세 친구가 금신상에게 절하라는 명령을 거역하였고 다니엘도 아무신에게나 절하지 말라는 금령을 거역하였습니다. 그러나 하나님께서 승리를 주셨습니다. 무조건적이고 맹모걱으로 순종하라는 의미는 절대아닙니다. 그렇다면 순교자들이 있을 수가 없고 그들의 죽음은 허사가 됩니다.

사랑은 율법의 완성이라고 말씀합니다. 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 것이 율법의 진정한 정신이기 때문입니다. 사랑은 이웃을 해하지 않기 때문입니다. 그러나 그런 사랑의 마음은 오직 예수님을 믿고 거듭나서 새생명을 소유하게 될 때만이 가질수 있는 마음입니다. 성령으로 사랑의 마음을 부어주십니다. 그래서 거듭나면 하나님을 사랑하게 되고 그 사랑을 깨달은 사람들이 주님의 마음을 품고 이웃을 사랑 할 수가 있게 됩니다. 그러므로 하나님을 사랑한다고 말하면서 이웃을 미워하는 것은 거짓 사랑입니다.

마지막 부분은 때를 분별하여 깨어있으라고 말씀합니다. 우리는 적진에 와서 살고 있고 이 세상은 항상 변화하고 있으며 주님이 언제 다시 오실지 알지 못하기 때문입니다. 특별히 하마스의 갑작스런 공격처럼 세상 종말의 고통이 언제 시작될지 모를 상황에 있습니다.

정욕의 일을 버리고 빛의 갑옷을 입으라고 말씀합니다. 거룩함과 선한 행실로 살아야 함을 의미합니다. 그리스도로 옷을 입으라고 하셨습니다. 예수님의 인격과 보이신 본을 따라서 살아야 합니다. 예수님의 향기를 나타내는 사람이 되어야 합니다. 예수님의 의로움으로 이미 옷을 입었습니다. 이제는 그 의로우심을 밖으로 나타내는 의로운 삶을 그리고 사랑의 삶을 살아야 합니다. 빛과 소금이 되어서 다른 사람들이 우리를 보고 예수님을 발견해야 합니다.

오늘도 이런 여러 가지 교훈을 통하여 예수그리스도의 복음이 더욱 널리 전파되고 하나님이 영광을 받으시는 우리들의 모습이 될수 있기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.

 

1. 권세에 복종하라.

(1) 평안을 위하여.

(딤전 2:1-2, 개역) [1] 그러므로 내가 첫째로 권하노니 모든 사람을 위하여 간구와 기도와 도고와 감사를 하되 [2] 임금들과 높은 지위에 있는 모든 사람을 위하여 하라 이는 우리가 모든 경건과 단정한 중에 고요하고 평안한 생활을 하려 함이니라

(딤전 2:1-2, NKJV) [1] Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, [2] for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

 

(2) 둘 사이에 끼인 사람.

(빌 2:22-24, 개역) [22] 디모데의 연단을 너희가 아나니 자식이 아비에게 함 같이 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 수고하였느니라 [23] 그러므로 내가 내 일이 어떻게 될 것을 보아서 곧 이 사람을 보내기를 바라고 [24] 나도 속히 가기를 주 안에서 확신하노라

(빌 2:22-24, NKJV) [22] But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel. [23] Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it goes with me. [24] But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

 

(3) 악을 제어하는기능.

(롬 13:4, 개역) 그는 하나님의 사자가 되어 네게 선을 이루는 자니라 그러나 네가 악을 행하거든 두려워하라 그가 공연히 칼을 가지지 아니하였으니 곧 하나님의 사자가 되어 악을 행하는 자에게 진노하심을 위하여 보응하는 자니라

(Rm 13:4, NKJV) For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

 

(4) 세금을 바치라.

(롬 13:6-7, 개역) [6] 너희가 공세를 바치는 것도 이를 인함이라 저희가 하나님의 일꾼이 되어 바로 이 일에 항상 힘쓰느니라 [7] 모든 자에게 줄 것을 주되 공세를 받을 자에게 공세를 바치고 국세 받을 자에게 국세를 바치고 두려워할 자를 두려워하며 존경할 자를 존경하라

(롬 13:6-7, NKJV) [6] For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. [7] Render therefore to all their due： taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

 

(5) 마 17.24ㅡ27

(마 17:24-27, 개역) [24] 가버나움에 이르니 반 세겔 받는 자들이 베드로에게 나아와 가로되 너의 선생이 반 세겔을 내지 아니하느냐 [25] 가로되 내신다 하고 집에 들어가니 예수께서 먼저 가라사대 시몬아 네 생각은 어떠하뇨 세상 임금들이 뉘게 관세와 정세를 받느냐 자기 아들에게냐 타인에게냐 [26] 베드로가 가로되 타인에게니이다 예수께서 가라사대 그러하면 아들들은 세를 면하리라 [27] 그러나 우리가 저희로 오해케 하지 않기 위하여 네가 바다에 가서 낚시를 던져 먼저 오르는 고기를 가져 입을 열면 돈 한 세겔을 얻을 것이니 가져다가 나와 너를 위하여 주라 하시니라

(마 17:24-27, NKJV) [24] When they had come to Capernaum, those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, "Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?" [25] He said, "Yes." And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?" [26] Peter said to Him, "From strangers." Jesus said to him, "Then the sons are free. [27] "Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you."

 

(6) 마22.17ㅡ21

(마 22:17-21, 개역) [17] 그러면 당신의 생각에는 어떠한지 우리에게 이르소서 가이사에게 세를 바치는 것이 가하니이까 불가하니이까 한대 [18] 예수께서 저희의 악함을 아시고 가라사대 외식하는 자들아 어찌하여 나를 시험하느냐 [19] 셋돈을 내게 보이라 하시니 데나리온 하나를 가져왔거늘 [20] 예수께서 말씀하시되 이 형상과 이 글이 뉘 것이냐 [21] 가로되 가이사의 것이니이다 이에 가라사대 그런즉 가이사의 것은 가이사에게 하나님의 것은 하나님께 바치라 하시니

(마 22:17-21, NKJV) [17] "Tell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?" [18] But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test Me, you hypocrites? [19] "Show Me the tax money." So they brought Him a denarius. [20] And He said to them, "Whose image and inscription is this?" [21] They said to Him, "Caesar's." And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

 

(7) 지도자들을 세우라

(신 1:15-17, 개역) [15] 내가 너희 지파의 두령으로 지혜가 있는 유명한 자를 취하여 너희의 어른을 삼되 곧 각 지파를 따라 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장과 패장을 삼고 [16] 내가 그 때에 너희 재판장들에게 명하여 이르기를 너희가 너희 형제 중에 송사를 들을 때에 양방간에 공정히 판결할 것이며 그들 중의 타국인에게도 그리 할것이라 [17] 재판은 하나님께 속한 것인즉 너희는 재판에 외모를 보지 말고 귀천을 일반으로 듣고 사람의 낯을 두려워 말것이며 스스로 결단하기 어려운 일이거든 내게로 돌리라 내가 들으리라 하였고

(신 1:15-17, NKJV) [15] "So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and knowledgeable men, and made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties, leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes. [16] "Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying, 'Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him. [17] 'You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man's presence, for the judgment is God's. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.'

 

(8) 오해를 막기 위함.

(행 23:1-8, 개역) [1] 바울이 공회를 주목하여 가로되 여러분 형제들아 오늘날까지 내가 범사에 양심을 따라 하나님을 섬겼노라 하거늘 [2] 대제사장 아나니아가 바울 곁에 섰는 사람들에게 그 입을 치라 명하니 [3] 바울이 가로되 회칠한 담이여 하나님이 너를 치시리로다 네가 나를 율법대로 판단한다고 앉아서 율법을 어기고 나를 치라 하느냐 하니 [4] 곁에 선 사람들이 말하되 하나님의 대제사장을 네가 욕하느냐 [5] 바울이 가로되 형제들아 나는 그가 대제사장인 줄 알지 못하였노라 기록하였으되 너희 백성의 관원을 비방치 말라 하였느니라 하더라 [6] 바울이 그 한 부분은 사두개인이요 한 부분은 바리새인인 줄 알고 공회에서 외쳐 가로되 여러분 형제들아 나는 바리새인이요 또 바리새인의 아들이라 죽은 자의 소망 곧 부활을 인하여 내가 심문을 받노라 [7] 그 말을 한즉 바리새인과 사두개인 사이에 다툼이 생겨 무리가 나누이니 [8] 이는 사두개인은 부활도 없고 천사도 없고 영도 없다 하고 바리새인은 다 있다 함이라

(행 23:1-8, NKJV) [1] Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, "Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day." [2] And the high priest Ananias commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth. [3] Then Paul said to him, "God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! For you sit to judge me according to the law, and do you command me to be struck contrary to the law?" [4] And those who stood by said, "Do you revile God's high priest?" [5] Then Paul said, "I did not know, brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written, 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.'" [6] But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, "Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!" [7] And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the assembly was divided. [8] For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection--and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

 

(9) 선상악벌

(벧전 2:13-17, 개역) [13] 인간에 세운 모든 제도를 주를 위하여 순복하되 혹은 위에 있는 왕이나 [14] 혹은 악행하는 자를 징벌하고 선행하는 자를 포장하기 위하여 그의 보낸 방백에게 하라 [15] 곧 선행으로 어리석은 사람들의 무식한 말을 막으시는 것이라 [16] 자유하나 그 자유로 악을 가리우는데 쓰지 말고 오직 하나님의 종과 같이 하라 [17] 뭇 사람을 공경하며 형제를 사랑하며 하나님을 두려워하며 왕을 공경하라

(벧전 2:13-17, NKJV) [13] Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, [14] or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. [15] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-- [16] as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. [17] Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

 

(10) 잠 8.15ㅡ16

(잠 8:15-16, 개역) [15] 나로 말미암아 왕들이 치리하며 방백들이 공의를 세우며 [16] 나로 말미암아 재상과 존귀한 자 곧 세상의 모든 재판관들이 다스리느니라

(잠 8:15-16, NKJV) [15] By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. [16] By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth.

 

(11) 하나님은 최고의 재판장

(시 82:1-4, 개역) [1] [아삽의 시] 하나님이 하나님의 회 가운데 서시며 재판장들 중에서 판단하시되 [2] 너희가 불공평한 판단을 하며 악인의 낯 보기를 언제까지 하려느냐(셀라) [3] 가난한 자와 고아를 위하여 판단하며 곤란한 자와 빈궁한 자에게 공의를 베풀지며 [4] 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 구원하여 악인들의 손에서 건질찌니라 하시는도다

(시 82:1-4, NKJV) [1] A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. [2] How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? Selah [3] Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. [4] Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.

 

(12) 지도자들의 책임

(미 3:1-4, 개역) [1] 내가 또 이르노니 야곱의 두령들과 이스라엘 족속의 치리자들아 청컨대 들으라 공의는 너희의 알 것이 아니냐 [2] 너희가 선을 미워하고 악을 좋아하여 내 백성의 가죽을 벗기고 그 뼈에서 살을 뜯어 [3] 그들의 살을 먹으며 그 가죽을 벗기며 그 뼈를 꺾어 다지기를 남비와 솥 가운데 담을 고기처럼 하는도다 [4] 그 때에 그들이 여호와께 부르짖을지라도 응답지 아니하시고 그들의 행위의 악하던 대로 그들 앞에 얼굴을 가리우시리라

(미 3:1-4, NKJV) [1] And I said： "Hear now, O heads of Jacob, And you rulers of the house of Israel： Is it not for you to know justice? [2] You who hate good and love evil; Who strip the skin from My people, And the flesh from their bones; [3] Who also eat the flesh of My people, Flay their skin from them, Break their bones, And chop them in pieces Like meat for the pot, Like flesh in the caldron." [4] Then they will cry to the LORD, But He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, Because they have been evil in their deeds.

 

(13) 복종하라

(딛 3:1-2, 개역) [1] 너는 저희로 하여금 정사와 권세잡은 자들에게 복종하며 순종하며 모든 선한 일 행하기를 예비하게 하며 [2] 아무도 훼방하지 말며 다투지 말며 관용하며 범사에 온유함을 모든 사람에게 나타낼 것을 기억하게 하라

(딛 3:1-2, NKJV) [1] Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, [2] to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

 

2. 모든 권세는 하나님이 세웠다.

(1) 하나님의 주권.

(대상 29:11-13, 개역) [11] 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다 [12] 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다 [13] 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다

(대상 29:11-13, NKJV) [11] Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. [12] Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. [13] "Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.

 

(2) 단 2.21

(단 2:21, 개역) 그는 때와 기한을 변하시며 왕들을 폐하시고 왕들을 세우시며 지혜자에게 지혜를 주시고 지식자에게 총명을 주시는도다

(Dn 2:21, NKJV) And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding.

 

(3) 자기 뜻대로 왕들을 세우심

(단 5:21, 개역) 인생 중에서 쫓겨나서 그 마음이 들짐승의 마음과 같았고 또 들나귀와 함께 거하며 또 소처럼 풀을 먹으며 그 몸이 하늘 이슬에 젖었으며 지극히 높으신 하나님이 인간 나라를 다스리시며 자기의 뜻대로 누구든지 그 위에 세우시는 줄을 알기까지 이르게 되었었나이다

(Dn 5:21, NKJV) "Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.

 

(4) 바로. 모세

(출 14:17-18, 개역) [17] 내가 애굽 사람들의 마음을 강퍅케 할 것인즉 그들이 그 뒤를 따라 들어갈 것이라 내가 바로와 그 모든 군대와 그 병거와 마병을 인하여 영광을 얻으리니 [18] 내가 바로와 그 병거와 마병으로 인하여 영광을 얻을 때에야 애굽 사람들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 하시더니

(출 14:17-18, NKJV) [17] "And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. [18] "Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."

(단 3:13-18, NKJV) [13] Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king. [14] Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up? [15] "Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?" [16] Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. [17] "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. [18] "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

(눅 2:1-5, 개역) [1] 이 때에 가이사 아구스도가 영을 내려 천하로 다 호적하라 하였으니 [2] 이 호적은 구레뇨가 수리아 총독 되었을 때에 첫번 한 것이라 [3] 모든 사람이 호적하러 각각 고향으로 돌아가매 [4] 요셉도 다윗의 집 족속인고로 갈릴리 나사렛 동네에서 유대를 향하여 베들레헴이라 하는 다윗의 동네로 [5] 그 정혼한 마리아와 함께 호적하러 올라가니 마리아가 이미 잉태되었더라

(눅 2:1-5, NKJV) [1] And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. [2] This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. [3] So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. (단 7:1-5, 개역) [1] 바벨론 왕 벨사살 원년에 다니엘이 그 침상에서 꿈을 꾸며 뇌 속으로 이상을 받고 그 꿈을 기록하며 그 일의 대략을 진술하니라 [2] 다니엘이 진술하여 가로되 내가 밤에 이상을 보았는데 하늘의 네 바람이 큰 바다로 몰려 불더니 [3] 큰 짐승 넷이 바다에서 나왔는데 그 모양이 각각 다르니 [4] 첫째는 사자와 같은데 독수리의 날개가 있더니 내가 볼 사이에 그 날개가 뽑혔고 또 땅에서 들려서 사람처럼 두 발로 서게 함을 입었으며 또 사람의 마음을 받았으며 [5] 다른 짐승 곧 둘째는 곰과 같은데 그것이 몸 한편을 들었고 그 입의 잇사이에는 세 갈빗대가 물렸는데 그에게 말하는 자가 있어 이르기를 일어나서 많은 고기를 먹으라 하였으며

(단 7:1-5, NKJV) [1] In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts. [2] Daniel spoke, saying, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. [3] "And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. [4] "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it. [5] "And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it： 'Arise, devour much flesh!'

 

(8) 다니엘의 기도.

(단 6:10, 개역) 다니엘이 이 조서에 어인이 찍힌 것을 알고도 자기 집에 돌아가서는 그 방의 예루살렘으로 향하여 열린 창에서 전에 행하던 대로 하루 세 번씩 무릎을 꿇고 기도하며 그 하나님께 감사하였더라

(Dn 6:10, NKJV) Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

 

(9) 고라와 다단.

(민 16:31-40, 개역) [31] 이 모든 말을 마치는 동시에 그들의 밑의 땅이 갈라지니라 [32] 땅이 그 입을 열어 그들과 그 가속과 고라에게 속한 모든 사람과 그 물건을 삼키매 [33] 그들과 그 모든 소속이 산채로 음부에 빠지며 땅이 그 위에 합하니 그들이 총회 중에서 망하니라 [34] 그 주위에 있는 온 이스라엘이 그들의 부르짖음을 듣고 도망하며 가로되 땅이 우리도 삼킬까 두렵다 하였고 [35] 여호와께로서 불이 나와서 분향하는 이백오십 인을 소멸하였더라 [36] 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대 [37] 너는 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살을 명하여 붙는 불 가운데서 향로를 취하여다가 그 불을 타처에 쏟으라 그 향로는 거룩함이니라 [38] 사람들은 범죄하여 그 생명을 스스로 해하였거니와 그들이 향로를 여호와 앞에 드렸으므로 그 향기가 거룩하게 되었나니 그 향로를 쳐서 제단을 싸는 편철을 만들라 이스라엘 자손에게 표가 되리라 하신지라 [39] 제사장 엘르아살이 불탄 자들의 드렸던 놋 향로를 취하여 쳐서 제단을 싸서 [40] 이스라엘 자손의 기념물이 되게 하였으니 이는 아론 자손이 아닌 외인은 여호와 앞에 분향하러 가까이 오지 못하게 함이며 또 고라와 그 무리 같이 되지 않게 하기 위함이라 여호와께서 모세로 그에게 명하신 대로 하였더라

(민 16:31-40, NKJV) [31] Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, [32] and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. [33] So they and all those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the assembly. [34] Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, "Lest the earth swallow us up also!" [35] And a fire came out from the LORD and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense. [36] Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying： [37] "Tell Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, to pick up the censers out of the blaze, for they are holy, and scatter the fire some distance away. [38] "The censers of these men who sinned against their own souls, let them be made into hammered plates as a covering for the altar. Because they presented them before the LORD, therefore they are holy; and they shall be a sign to the children of Israel." [39] So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers, which those who were burned up had presented, and they were hammered out as a covering on the altar, [40] to be a memorial to the children of Israel that no outsider, who is not a descendant of Aaron, should come near to offer incense before the LORD, that he might not become like Korah and his companions, just as the LORD had said to him through Moses.

(민 12:1-5, NKJV) [1] Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. [2] So they said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the LORD heard it. [4] Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!" So the three came out. [5] Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward.

 

(11) 적그리스도.

(계 13:1-7, 개역) [1] 내가 보니 바다에서 한 짐승이 나오는데 뿔이 열이요 머리가 일곱이라 그 뿔에는 열 면류관이 있고 그 머리들에는 참람한 이름들이 있더라 [2] 내가 본 짐승은 표범과 비슷하고 그 발은 곰의 발 같고 그 입은 사자의 입 같은데 용이 자기의 능력과 보좌와 큰 권세를 그에게 주었더라 [3] 그의 머리 하나가 상하여 죽게된 것 같더니 그 죽게 되었던 상처가 나으매 온 땅이 이상히 여겨 짐승을 따르고 [4] 용이 짐승에게 권세를 주므로 용에게 경배하며 짐승에게 경배하여 가로되 누가 이 짐승과 같으뇨 누가 능히 이로 더불어 싸우리요 하더라 [5] 또 짐승이 큰 말과 참람된 말하는 입을 받고 또 마흔두 달 일할 권세를 받으니라 [6] 짐승이 입을 벌려 하나님을 향하여 훼방하되 그의 이름과 그의 장막 곧 하늘에 거하는 자들을 훼방하더라 [7] 또 권세를 받아 성도들과 싸워 이기게 되고 각 족속과 백성과 방언과 나라를 다스리는 권세를 받으니

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. [2] Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. [3] And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. [4] So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" [5] And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. [7] It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

(계 14:9-12, NKJV) [9] Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, [10] "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. [11] "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." [12] Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

(마 3:11-12, 개역) [11] 나는 너희로 회개케 하기 위하여 물로 세례를 주거니와 내 뒤에 오시는 이는 나보다 능력이 많으시니 나는 그의 신을 들기도 감당치 못하겠노라 그는 성령과 불로 너희에게 세례를 주실 것이요 [12] 손에 키를 들고 자기의 타작 마당을 정하게 하사 알곡은 모아 곡간에 들이고 쭉정이는 꺼지지 않는 불에 태우시리라

(마 3:11-12, NKJV) [11] "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. [12] "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

 

(13) 사울과 다윗.

(삼상 26:21-25, 개역) [21] 사울이 가로되 내가 범죄하였도다 내 아들 다윗아 돌아오라 네가 오늘 내 생명을 귀중히 여겼은즉 내가 다시는 너를 해하려 하지 아니하리라 내가 어리석은 일을 하였으니 대단히 잘못 되었도다 [22] 다윗이 대답하여 가로되 왕은 창을 보소서 한 소년을 보내어 가져가게 하소서 [23] 여호와께서 각 사람에게 그 의와 신실을 갚으시리니 이는 여호와께서 오늘날 왕을 내 손에 붙이셨으되 나는 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 자 치기를 원치 아니하였음이니이다 [24] 오늘날 왕의 생명을 내가 중히 여긴 것 같이 내 생명을 여호와께서 중히 여기셔서 모든 환난에서 나를 구하여 내시기를 바라나이다 [25] 사울이 다윗에게 이르되 내 아들 다윗아 네게 복이 있을지로다 네가 큰 일을 행하겠고 반드시 승리를 얻으리라 하니라 다윗은 자기 길로 가고 사울은 자기 곳으로 돌아가니라

(삼상 26:21-25, NKJV) [21] Then Saul said, "I have sinned. Return, my son David. For I will harm you no more, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Indeed I have played the fool and erred exceedingly." [22] And David answered and said, "Here is the king's spear. Let one of the young men come over and get it. [23] "May the LORD repay every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered you into my hand today, but I would not stretch out my hand against the LORD'S anointed. [24] "And indeed, as your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the LORD, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation." [25] Then Saul said to David, "May you be blessed, my son David! You shall both do great things and also still prevail." So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.

 

(14) 공회에서 담대하였던 베드로.

(행 4:10-15, 개역) [10] 너희와 모든 이스라엘 백성들은 알라 너희가 십자가에 못 박고 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 사람이 건강하게 되어 너희 앞에 섰느니라 [11] 이 예수는 너희 건축자들의 버린 돌로서 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라 [12] 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라 [13] 저희가 베드로와 요한이 기탄 없이 말함을 보고 그 본래 학문 없는 범인으로 알았다가 이상히 여기며 또 그 전에 예수와 함께 있던 줄도 알고 [14] 또 병 나은 사람이 그들과 함께 섰는 것을 보고 힐난할 말이 없는지라 [15] 명하여 공회에서 나가라 하고 서로 의논하여 가로되

(행 4:10-15, NKJV) [10] "let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. [11] "This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' [12] "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." [13] Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. [14] And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. [15] But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

 

(15) 말세의 핍박.

(마 10:18-20, 개역) [18] 또 너희가 나를 인하여 총독들과 임금들 앞에 끌려 가리니 이는 저희와 이방인들에게 증거가 되게 하려 하심이라 [19] 너희를 넘겨 줄 때에 어떻게 또는 무엇을 말할까 염려치 말라 그때에 무슨 말할 것을 주시리니 [20] 말하는 이는 너희가 아니라 너희 속에서 말씀하시는 자 곧 너희 아버지의 성령이시니라

(마 10:18-20, NKJV) [18] "You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. [19] "But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; [20] "for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

 

3. 사랑은 율법의 완성.

(1) 품꾼을 학대하지 말라

(신 24:14-15, 개역) [14] 곤궁하고 빈한한 품꾼은 너의 형제든지 네 땅 성문 안에 우거하는 객이든지 그를 학대하지 말며 [15] 그 품삯을 당일에 주고 해 진 후까지 끌지 말라 이는 그가 빈궁하므로 마음에 품삯을 사모함이라 두렵건대 그가 너를 여호와께 호소하면 죄가 네게로 돌아갈까 하노라

(신 24:14-15, NKJV) [14] "You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether one of your brethren or one of the aliens who is in your land within your gates. [15] "Each day you shall give him his wages, and not let the sun go down on it, for he is poor and has set his heart on it; lest he cry out against you to the LORD, and it be sin to you.

 

(2) 선을 베풀라

(잠 3:27-28, 개역) [27] 네 손이 선을 베풀 힘이 있거든 마땅히 받을 자에게 베풀기를 아끼지 말며 [28] 네게 있거든 이웃에게 이르기를 갔다가 다시 오라 내일 주겠노라 하지 말며

(잠 3:27-28, NKJV) [27] Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so. [28] Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it," When you have it with you.

 

(3) 네이웃을 사랑하라

(갈 5:14-15, 개역) [14] 온 율법은 네 이웃 사랑하기를 네 몸 같이 하라 하신 한 말씀에 이루었나니 [15] 만일 서로 물고 먹으면 피차 멸망할까 조심하라

(갈 5:14-15, NKJV) [14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this： "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [15] But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

 

(4) 십계명

(출 20:1-7, 개역) [1] 하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 일러 가라사대 [2] 나는 너를 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 너의 하나님 여호와로라 [3] 너는 나 외에는 다른 신들을 네게 있게 말지니라 [4] 너를 위하여 새긴 우상을 만들지 말고 또 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물 속에 있는 것의 아무 형상이든지 만들지 말며 [5] 그것들에게 절하지 말며 그것들을 섬기지 말라 나 여호와 너의 하나님은 질투하는 하나님인즉 나를 미워하는 자의 죄를 갚되 아비로부터 아들에게로 삼사 대까지 이르게 하거니와 [6] 나를 사랑하고 내 계명을 지키는 자에게는 천대까지 은혜를 베푸느니라 [7] 너는 너의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 망령되이 일컫지 말라 나 여호와의 이름을 망령되이 일컫는 자를 죄없다 하지 아니하리라

(5) 율법의 정신

(마 22:37-40, 개역) [37] 예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 [38] 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 [39] 둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 [40] 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라

(마 22:37-40, NKJV) [37] Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [38] "This is the first and great commandment. (롬 5:5-8, 개역) [5] 소망이 부끄럽게 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니 [6] 우리가 아직 연약할 때에 기약대로 그리스도께서 경건치 않은 자를 위하여 죽으셨도다 [7] 의인을 위하여 죽는 자가 쉽지 않고 선인을 위하여 용감히 죽는 자가 혹 있거니와 [8] 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에게 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라

(롬 5:5-8, NKJV) [5] Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. [6] For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. [8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

 

(7) 하나님은 사랑이심

(요일 4:7-11, 개역) [7] 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님께로 나서 하나님을 알고 [8] 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라 [9] 하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 저로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이니라 [10] 사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 오직 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 위하여 화목제로 그 아들을 보내셨음이니라 [11] 사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다

(요일 4:7-11, NKJV) [7] Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. [8] He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. [9] In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

 

(8) 사랑장

(고전 13:4-7, 개역) [4] 사랑은 오래 참고 사랑은 온유하며 투기하는 자가 되지 아니하며 사랑은 자랑하지 아니하며 교만하지 아니하며 [5] 무례히 행치 아니하며 자기의 유익을 구치 아니하며 성내지 아니하며 악한 것을 생각지 아니하며 [6] 불의를 기뻐하지 아니하며 진리와 함께 기뻐하고 [7] 모든 것을 참으며 모든 것을 믿으며 모든 것을 바라며 모든 것을 견디느니라

(고전 13:4-7, NKJV) [4] Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; [5] does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; [6] does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; [7] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

 

(9) 해를 끼치지 않음

(롬 13:8-10, 개역) [8] 피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무에게든지 아무 빚도 지지 말라 남을 사랑하는 자는 율법을 다 이루었느니라 [9] 간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도적질하지 말라, 탐내지 말라 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이 있을지라도 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라 하신 그 말씀 가운데 다 들었느니라 [10] 사랑은 이웃에게 악을 행치 아니하나니 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라

(롬 13:8-10, NKJV) [8] Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. [9] For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [10] Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

 

(10) 하나님 사랑하자.

(신 6:4-9, 개역) [4] 이스라엘아 들으라 우리 하나님 여호와는 오직 하나인 여호와시니 [5] 너는 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하고 힘을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하라 [6] 오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 이 말씀을 너는 마음에 새기고 [7] 네 자녀에게 부지런히 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지 길에 행할 때에든지 누웠을 때에든지 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론할 것이며 [8] 너는 또 그것을 네 손목에 매어 기호를 삼으며 네 미간에 붙여 표를 삼고 [9] 또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록할지니라

(신 6:4-9, NKJV) [4] "Hear, O Israel： The LORD our God, the LORD is one! [5] "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. [6] "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. [7] "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. [8] "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. [9] "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

 

(롬 8:28, 개역) 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라

(Rm 8:28, NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

 

(11) 서로 사랑하라.

(요 13:34-35, 개역) [34] 새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라 [35] 너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라

(요 13:34-35, NKJV) [34] "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. [35] "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

 

4. 자다가 깰때가 되었다.

(1) 파숫 꾼이여 밤이 어떻게 되었느냐

(사 21:11-12, 개역) [11] 두마에 관한 경고라 사람이 세일에서 나를 부르되 파수꾼이여 밤이 어떻게 되었느뇨 파수꾼이여 밤이 어떻게 되었느뇨 [12] 파수꾼이 가로되 아침이 오나니 밤도 오리라 네가 물으려거든 물으라 너희는 돌아올지니라

(사 21:11-12, NKJV) [11] The burden against Dumah. He calls to me out of Seir, "Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?" [12] The watchman said, "The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; Return! Come back!"

 

(2) 시대의 표적을 분별하라.

(마 16:1-3, 개역) [1] 바리새인과 사두개인들이 와서 예수를 시험하여 하늘로서 오는 표적 보이기를 청하니 [2] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 저녁에 하늘이 붉으면 날이 좋겠다 하고 [3] 아침에 하늘이 붉고 흐리면 오늘은 날이 궂겠다 하나니 너희가 천기는 분별할 줄 알면서 시대의 표적은 분별할 수 없느냐

(마 16:1-3, NKJV) [1] Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. [2] He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; [3] "and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

 

(3) 마 24.42ㅡ44

(마 24:42-44, 개역) [42] 그러므로 깨어 있으라 어느 날에 너희 주가 임할는지 [43] 너희가 알지 못함이니라 너희도 아는 바니 만일 집 주인이 도적이 어느 경점에 올 줄을 알았더면 깨어 있어 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라 [44] 이러므로 너희도 예비하고 있으라 생각지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라

(마 24:42-44, NKJV) [42] "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. [43] "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. [44] "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

 

(4) 세상 잠에 취하지 말라

(엡 5:14, 개역) 그러므로 이르시기를 잠자는 자여 깨어서 죽은 자들 가운데서 일어나라 그리스도께서 네게 비취시리라 하셨느니라

(Eph 5:14, NKJV) Therefore He says： "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."

 

(요일 2:15-17, 개역) [15] 이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑치 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 속에 있지 아니하니 [16] 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라 [17] 이 세상도 그 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라

[16] For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. (5) 징조들

(마 24:3-14, 개역) [3] 예수께서 감람 산 위에 앉으셨을 때에 제자들이 종용히 와서 가로되 우리에게 이르소서 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 또 주의 임하심과 세상 끝에는 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까 [4] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 사람의 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 [5] 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 나는 그리스도라 하여 많은 사람을 미혹케 하리라 [6] 난리와 난리 소문을 듣겠으나 너희는 삼가 두려워 말라 이런 일이 있어야 하되 끝은 아직 아니니라 [7] 민족이 민족을, 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고 처처에 기근과 지진이 있으리니 [8] 이 모든 것이 재난의 시작이니라 [9] 그 때에 사람들이 너희를 환난에 넘겨 주겠으며 너희를 죽이리니 너희가 내 이름을 위하여 모든 민족에게 미움을 받으리라 [10] 그 때에 많은 사람이 시험에 빠져 서로 잡아 주고 서로 미워하겠으며 [11] 거짓 선지자가 많이 일어나 많은 사람을 미혹하게 하겠으며 [12] 불법이 성하므로 많은 사람의 사랑이 식어지리라 [13] 그러나 끝까지 견디는 자는 구원을 얻으리라 [14] 이 천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증거되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라

And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" [4] And Jesus answered and said to them： "Take heed that no one deceives you. [5] "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. [6] "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. [8] "All these are the beginning of sorrows. [9] "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. [10] "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. [11] "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. [12] "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. [13] "But he who endures to the end shall be saved. [14] "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

 

(6) 거짓 평화.

(겔 38:7-9, 개역) [7] 너는 스스로 예비하되 너와 네게 모인 무리들이 다 스스로 예비하고 너는 그들의 대장이 될지어다 [8] 여러날 후 곧 말년에 네가 명령을 받고 그 땅 곧 오래 황무하였던 이스라엘 산에 이르리니 그 땅 백성은 칼을 벗어나서 열국에서부터 모여 들어오며 이방에서부터 나와서 다 평안히 거하는 중이라 [9] 네가 올라오되 너와 네 모든 떼와 너와 함께한 많은 백성이 광풍 같이 이르고 구름 같이 땅을 덮으리라

(겔 38:7-9, NKJV) [7] "Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. [8] "After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. [9] "You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you."

 

(7) 갑자기. 살전 5.

(살전 5:1-10, 개역) [1] 형제들아 때와 시기에 관하여는 너희에게 쓸 것이 없음은 [2] 주의 날이 밤에 도적 같이 이를 줄을 너희 자신이 자세히 앎이라 [3] 저희가 평안하다, 안전하다 할 그 때에 잉태된 여자에게 해산 고통이 이름과 같이 멸망이 홀연히 저희에게 이르리니 결단코 피하지 못하리라 [4] 형제들아 너희는 어두움에 있지 아니하매 그 날이 도적 같이 너희에게 임하지 못하리니 [5] 너희는 다 빛의 아들이요 낮의 아들이라 우리가 밤이나 어두움에 속하지 아니하나니 [6] 그러므로 우리는 다른 이들과 같이 자지 말고 오직 깨어 근신할지라 [7] 자는 자들은 밤에 자고 취하는 자들은 밤에 취하되 [8] 우리는 낮에 속하였으니 근신하여 믿음과 사랑의 흉배를 붙이고 구원의 소망의 투구를 쓰자 [9] 하나님이 우리를 세우심은 노하심에 이르게 하심이 아니요 오직 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 구원을 얻게 하신 것이라 [10] 예수께서 우리를 위하여 죽으사 우리로 하여금 깨든지 자든지 자기와 함께 살게 하려 하셨느니라

(살전 5:1-10, NKJV) [1] But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. [2] For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. [3] For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. [4] But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. [5] You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. [7] For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. [8] But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. [9] For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

 

(8) 마귀의 역사.

(고후 4:4-6, 개역) [4] 그 중에 이 세상 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미케 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비취지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라 [5] 우리가 우리를 전파하는 것이 아니라 오직 그리스도 예수의 주 되신 것과 또 예수를 위하여 우리가 너희의 종 된 것을 전파함이라 [6] 어두운 데서 빛이 비취리라 하시던 그 하나님께서 예수 그리스도의 얼굴에 있는 하나님의 영광을 아는 빛을 우리 마음에 비취셨느니라

(고후 4:4-6, NKJV) [4] whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. [5] For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake. [6] For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

 

(9) 기도의 잠.

(마 26:39-46, 개역) [39] 조금 나아가사 얼굴을 땅에 대시고 엎드려 기도하여 가라사대 내 아버지여 만일 할만하시거든 이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서 그러나 나의 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서 하시고 [40] 제자들에게 오사 그 자는 것을 보시고 베드로에게 말씀하시되 너희가 나와 함께 한 시 동안도 이렇게 깨어 있을 수 없더냐 [41] 시험에 들지 않게 깨어 있어 기도하라 마음에는 원이로되 육신이 약하도다 하시고 [42] 다시 두 번째 나아가 기도하여 가라사대 내 아버지여 만일 내가 마시지 않고는 이 잔이 내게서 지나갈 수 없거든 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시고 [43] 다시 오사 보신즉 저희가 자니 이는 저희 눈이 피곤함일러라 [44] 또 저희를 두시고 나아가 세 번째 동일한 말씀으로 기도하신 후 [45] 이에 제자들에게 오사 이르시되 이제는 자고 쉬라 보라 때가 가까웠으니 인자가 죄인의 손에 팔리우느니라 [46] 일어나라 함께 가자 보라 나를 파는 자가 가까이 왔느니라

(마 26:39-46, NKJV) [39] He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." [40] Then He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour? [41] "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." [42] Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done." [43] And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. [44] So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. [45] Then He came to His disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. [46] "Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand."

 

(10) 말씀의 잠.

(마 13:1-9, 개역) [1] 그 날에 예수께서 집에서 나가사 바닷가에 앉으시매 [2] 큰 무리가 그에게로 모여 들거늘 예수께서 배에 올라가 앉으시고 온 무리는 해변에 섰더니 [3] 예수께서 비유로 여러가지를 저희에게 말씀하여 가라사대 씨를 뿌리는 자가 뿌리러 나가서 [4] 뿌릴새 더러는 길 가에 떨어지매 새들이 와서 먹어버렸고 [5] 더러는 흙이 얇은 돌밭에 떨어지매 흙이 깊지 아니하므로 곧 싹이 나오나 [6] 해가 돋은 후에 타져서 뿌리가 없으므로 말랐고 [7] 더러는 가시떨기 위에 떨어지매 가시가 자라서 기운을 막았고 [8] 더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어지매 혹 백 배, 혹 육십 배, 혹 삼십 배의 결실을 하였느니라 [9] 귀 있는 자는 들으라 하시니라

(11) 안일함.

(눅 21:34-36, 개역) [34] 너희는 스스로 조심하라 그렇지 않으면 방탕함과 술취함과 생활의 염려로 마음이 둔하여지고 뜻밖에 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 임하리라 [35] 이 날은 온 지구상에 거하는 모든 사람에게 임하리라 [36] 이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라

(눅 21:34-36, NKJV) [34] "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. [35] "For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. [36] "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

 

(12) 파숫꾼의 사명 각성

(겔 33:7-9, 개역) [7] 인자야 내가 너로 이스라엘 족속의 파수꾼을 삼음이 이와 같으니라 그런즉 너는 내 입의 말을 듣고 나를 대신하여 그들에게 경고할지어다 [8] 가령 내가 악인에게 이르기를 악인아 너는 정녕 죽으리라 하였다 하자 네가 그 악인에게 말로 경고하여 그 길에서 떠나게 아니하면 그 악인은 자기 죄악 중에서 죽으려니와 내가 그 피를 네 손에서 찾으리라 [9] 그러나 너는 악인에게 경고하여 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나라고 하되 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나지 아니하면 그는 자기 죄악 중에서 죽으려니와 너는 네 생명을 보전하리라

(겔 33:7-9, NKJV) [7] "So you, son of man： I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. [8] "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. [9] "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

 

(13) 받은 은혜를 생각

(롬 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 [3] 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라

(롬 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

 

(14) 열처녀의 비유

[9] "But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' [10] "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. [11] "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' [12] "But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'

 

(15) 마 26.40ㅡ41

(마 26:40-41, 개역) [40] 제자들에게 오사 그 자는 것을 보시고 베드로에게 말씀하시되 너희가 나와 함께 한 시 동안도 이렇게 깨어 있을 수 없더냐 [41] 시험에 들지 않게 깨어 있어 기도하라 마음에는 원이로되 육신이 약하도다 하시고

(마 26:40-41, NKJV) [40] Then He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour? [41] "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

 

(16) 내가 속히 오리라

(계 22:12, 개역) 보라 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그의 일한 대로 갚아 주리라

(Rv 22:12, NKJV) "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

 

(계 22:20, 개역) 이것들을 증거하신 이가 가라사대 내가 진실로 속히 오리라 하시거늘 아멘 주 예수여 오시옵소서

(Rv 22:20, NKJV) He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

 

5. 빛의 갑옷을 입어라.

(1) 어두움의 일들

(요 3:19-21, 개역) [19] 그 정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어두움을 더 사랑한 것이니라 [20] 악을 행하는 자마다 빛을 미워하여 빛으로 오지 아니하나니 이는 그 행위가 드러날까 함이요 [21] 진리를 쫓는 자는 빛으로 오나니 이는 그 행위가 하나님 안에서 행한 것임을 나타내려 함이라 하시니라

(요 3:19-21, NKJV) [19] "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. [21] "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

 

(2) 선한 행실

(마 5:14-16, 개역) [14] 너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨기우지 못할 것이요 [15] 사람이 등불을 켜서 말 아래 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이러므로 집안 모든 사람에게 비취느니라 [16] 이같이 너희 빛을 사람 앞에 비취게 하여 저희로 너희 착한 행실을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라

(마 5:14-16, NKJV) [14] "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. [16] "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

 

(3) 빛이신 주님

(요 1:1-5, 개역) [1] 태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라 [2] 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고 [3] 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라 [4] 그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라 [5] 빛이 어두움에 비취되 어두움이 깨닫지 못하더라

(요 1:1-5, NKJV) [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

 

(요 8:12, 개역) 예수께서 또 일러 가라사대 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어두움에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라

(Jn 8:12, NKJV) Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

 

(4) 기쁨

(살전 5:16-18, 개역) [16] 항상 기뻐하라 [17] 쉬지 말고 기도하라 [18] 범사에 감사하라 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라

(살전 5:16-18, NKJV) [16] Rejoice always, [17] pray without ceasing, [18] in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

 

(갈 5:22-24, 개역) [22] 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 [23] 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라 [24] 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라

(갈 5:22-24, NKJV) [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. [24] And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

 

(5) 거룩

(계 4:1-8, 개역) [1] 이 일 후에 내가 보니 하늘에 열린 문이 있는데 내가 들은 바 처음에 내게 말하던 나팔 소리 같은 그 음성이 가로되 이리로 올라오라 이 후에 마땅히 될 일을 내가 네게 보이리라 하시더라 [2] 내가 곧 성령에 감동하였더니 보라 하늘에 보좌를 베풀었고 그 보좌 위에 앉으신 이가 있는데 [3] 앉으신 이의 모양이 벽옥과 홍보석 같고 또 무지개가 있어 보좌에 둘렸는데 그 모양이 녹보석 같더라 [4] 또 보좌에 둘려 이십사 보좌들이 있고 그 보좌들 위에 이십사 장로들이 흰 옷을 입고 머리에 금 면류관을 쓰고 앉았더라 [5] 보좌로부터 번개와 음성과 뇌성이 나고 보좌 앞에 일곱 등불 켠 것이 있으니 이는 하나님의 일곱 영이라 [6] 보좌 앞에 수정과 같은 유리 바다가 있고 보좌 가운데와 보좌 주위에 네 생물이 있는데 앞 뒤에 눈이 가득하더라 [7] 그 첫째 생물은 사자 같고 그 둘째 생물은 송아지 같고 그 셋째 생물은 얼굴이 사람 같고 그 넷째 생물은 날아가는 독수리 같은데 [8] 네 생물이 각각 여섯 날개가 있고 그 안과 주위에 눈이 가득하더라 그들이 밤낮 쉬지 않고 이르기를 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 장차 오실 자라 하고

[3] And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. [4] Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. [5] And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. [6] Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. [7] The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. [8] The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying： "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

 

(6) 말씀

(시 119:105, 개역) 주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다

(Ps 119:105, NKJV) Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

 

(7) 성령

(슥 4:1-6, 개역) [1] 내게 말하던 천사가 다시 와서 나를 깨우니 마치 자는 사람이 깨우임 같더라 [2] 그가 내게 묻되 네가 무엇을 보느냐 내가 대답하되 내가 보니 순금 등대가 있는데 그 꼭대기에 주발 같은 것이 있고 또 그 등대에 일곱 등잔이 있으며 그 등대 꼭대기 등잔에는 일곱 관이 있고 [3] 그 등대 곁에 두 감람나무가 있는데 하나는 그 주발 우편에 있고 하나는 그 좌편에 있나이다 하고 [4] 내게 말하는 천사에게 물어 가로되 내 주여 이것들이 무엇이니이까 [5] 내게 말하는 천사가 대답하여 가로되 네가 이것들이 무엇인지 알지 못하느냐 내가 대답하되 내 주여 내가 알지 못하나이다 [6] 그가 내게 일러 가로되 여호와께서 스룹바벨에게 하신 말씀이 이러하니라 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 신으로 되느니라

[6] So he answered and said to me： "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel： 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.

 

(8) 사랑

(요일 4:8, 개역) 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라

(1Jn 4:8, NKJV) He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

 

(요일 1:5, 개역) 우리가 저에게서 듣고 너희에게 전하는 소식이 이것이니 곧 하나님은 빛이시라 그에게는 어두움이 조금도 없으시니라

(1Jn 1:5, NKJV) This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

 

(9) 생명

(요일 5:12-13, 개역) [12] 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라 [13] 내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓴 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라

(요일 5:12-13, NKJV) [12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. [13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

 

(10) 감사.

(골 3:12-17, 개역) [12] 그러므로 너희는 하나님의 택하신 거룩하고 사랑하신 자처럼 긍휼과 자비와 겸손과 온유와 오래 참음을 옷입고 [13] 누가 뉘게 혐의가 있거든 서로 용납하여 피차 용서하되 주께서 너희를 용서하신 것과 같이 너희도 그리하고 [14] 이 모든 것 위에 사랑을 더하라 이는 온전하게 매는 띠니라 [15] 그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라 평강을 위하여 너희가 한 몸으로 부르심을 받았나니 또한 너희는 감사하는 자가 되라 [16] 그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬미와 신령한 노래를 부르며 마음에 감사함으로 하나님을 찬양하고 [17] 또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라

(골 3:12-17, NKJV) [12] Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; [13] bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. [14] But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. [15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. [16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. [17] And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

 

(11) 어두움의 세상 주관자

(엡 6:10-20, 개역) [10] 종말로 너희가 주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고 [11] 마귀의 궤계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라 [12] 우리의 씨름은 혈과 육에 대한 것이 아니요 정사와 권세와 이 어두움의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에게 대함이라 [13] 그러므로 하나님의 전신 갑주를 취하라 이는 악한 날에 너희가 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라 [14] 그런즉 서서 진리로 너희 허리띠를 띠고 의의 흉배를 붙이고 [15] 평안의 복음의 예비한 것으로 신을 신고 [16] 모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 화전을 소멸하고 [17] 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지라 [18] 모든 기도와 간구로 하되 무시로 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하고 [19] 또 나를 위하여 구할 것은 내게 말씀을 주사 나로 입을 벌려 복음의 비밀을 담대히 알리게 하옵소서 할 것이니 [20] 이 일을 위하여 내가 쇠사슬에 매인 사신이 된 것은 나로 이 일에 당연히 할 말을 담대히 하게 하려 하심이니라

(엡 6:10-20, NKJV) [10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. [11] Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (12) 감사와 찬양하라

(13) 어두움에서 빛으로

(행 26:18, 개역) 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어두움에서 빛으로, 사단의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아가게 하고 죄사함과 나를 믿어 거룩케 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다

(Ac 26:18, NKJV) 'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

 

(14) 빛의 일

(엡 5:10-14, 개역) [10] 주께 기쁘시게 할 것이 무엇인가 시험하여 보라 [11] 너희는 열매 없는 어두움의 일에 참예하지 말고 도리어 책망하라 [12] 저희의 은밀히 행하는 것들은 말하기도 부끄러움이라 [13] 그러나 책망을 받는 모든 것이 빛으로 나타나나니 나타나지는 것마다 빛이니라 [14] 그러므로 이르시기를 잠자는 자여 깨어서 죽은 자들 가운데서 일어나라 그리스도께서 네게 비취시리라 하셨느니라

(엡 5:10-14, NKJV) [10] finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. [11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. [12] For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. [13] But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. [14] Therefore He says： "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."

 

6. 정욕의 일을 멀리하라.

(1) 롬 1

(롬 1:28-32, 개역) [28] 또한 저희가 마음에 하나님 두기를 싫어하매 하나님께서 저희를 그 상실한 마음대로 내어 버려 두사 합당치 못한 일을 하게 하셨으니 [29] 곧 모든 불의, 추악, 탐욕, 악의가 가득한 자요 시기, 살인, 분쟁, 사기, 악독이 가득한 자요 수군수군 하는 자요 [30] 비방하는 자요 하나님의 미워하시는 자요 능욕하는 자요 교만한 자요 자랑하는 자요 악을 도모하는 자요 부모를 거역하는 자요 [31] 우매한 자요 배약하는 자요 무정한 자요 무자비한 자라 [32] 저희가 이같은 일을 행하는 자는 사형에 해당하다고 하나님의 정하심을 알고도 자기들만 행할 뿐 아니라 또한 그 일을 행하는 자를 옳다 하느니라

(롬 1:28-32, NKJV) [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; [29] being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, [30] backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; [32] who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

 

(2) 고전 6

(고전 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자나 [10] 도적이나 탐람하는 자나 술취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라 [11] 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 있더니 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 얻었느니라

(고전 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, [10] nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

 

(3) 계 21

(계 21:8, 개역) 그러나 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 행음자들과 술객들과 우상 숭배자들과 모든 거짓말하는 자들은 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 참예하리니 이것이 둘째 사망이라

(Rv 21:8, NKJV) "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

 

(4) 육체의 일

(갈 5:18-21, 개역) [18] 너희가 만일 성령의 인도하시는 바가 되면 율법 아래 있지 아니하리라 [19] 육체의 일은 현저하니 곧 음행과 더러운 것과 호색과 [20] 우상 숭배와 술수와 원수를 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당 짓는 것과 분리함과 이단과 [21] 투기와 술 취함과 방탕함과 또 그와 같은 것들이라 전에 너희에게 경계한 것 같이 경계하노니 이런 일을 하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 것이요

(갈 5:18-21, NKJV) [18] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. [19] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are： adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, [20] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, [21] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

(5) 마음과 영을 새롭게하라.

(겔 18:31-32, 개역) [31] 너희는 범한 모든 죄악을 버리고 마음과 영을 새롭게 할지어다 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 어찌하여 죽고자 하느냐 [32] 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 죽는 자의 죽는 것은 내가 기뻐하지 아니하노니 너희는 스스로 돌이키고 살지니라

(겔 18:31-32, NKJV) [31] "Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? [32] "For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore turn and live!"

 

(6) 엡 4.22-24

(엡 4:22-24, 개역) [22] 너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 좇는 옛 사람을 벗어버리고 [23] 오직 심령으로 새롭게 되어 [24] 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라

(엡 4:22-24, NKJV) [22] that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, [24] and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

 

(7) 어두움을 더 사랑하는 세상

(요 3:19-21, 개역) [19] 그 정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어두움을 더 사랑한 것이니라 [20] 악을 행하는 자마다 빛을 미워하여 빛으로 오지 아니하나니 이는 그 행위가 드러날까 함이요 [21] 진리를 쫓는 자는 빛으로 오나니 이는 그 행위가 하나님 안에서 행한 것임을 나타내려 함이라 하시니라

(요 3:19-21, NKJV) [19] "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. [21] "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

 

(8) 빛의 아들들

(살전 5:5-8, 개역) [5] 너희는 다 빛의 아들이요 낮의 아들이라 우리가 밤이나 어두움에 속하지 아니하나니 [6] 그러므로 우리는 다른 이들과 같이 자지 말고 오직 깨어 근신할지라 [7] 자는 자들은 밤에 자고 취하는 자들은 밤에 취하되 [8] 우리는 낮에 속하였으니 근신하여 믿음과 사랑의 흉배를 붙이고 구원의 소망의 투구를 쓰자

(살전 5:5-8, NKJV) [5] You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. [7] For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. [8] But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

 

(9) 빛이신 하나님

(요일 1:5-7, 개역) [5] 우리가 저에게서 듣고 너희에게 전하는 소식이 이것이니 곧 하나님은 빛이시라 그에게는 어두움이 조금도 없으시니라 [6] 만일 우리가 하나님과 사귐이 있다 하고 어두운 가운데 행하면 거짓말을 하고 진리를 행치 아니함이거니와 [7] 저가 빛 가운데 계신 것 같이 우리도 빛 가운데 행하면 우리가 서로 사귐이 있고 그 아들 예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요

(요일 1:5-7, NKJV) [5] This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. [6] If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. [7] But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

(요일 2:8-9, 개역) [8] 다시 내가 너희에게 새 계명을 쓰노니 저에게와 너희에게도 참된 것이라 이는 어두움이 지나가고 참 빛이 벌써 비췸이니라 [9] 빛 가운데 있다 하며 그 형제를 미워하는 자는 지금까지 어두운 가운데 있는 자요

(요일 2:8-9, NKJV) [8] Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. [9] He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

 

(11) 방탕 술취함등

(벧전 4:3-5, 개역) [3] 너희가 음란과 정욕과 술취함과 방탕과 연락과 무법한 우상 숭배를 하여 이방인의 뜻을 좇아 행한 것이 지나간 때가 족하도다 [4] 이러므로 너희가 저희와 함께 그런 극한 방탕에 달음질하지 아니하는 것을 저희가 이상히 여겨 비방하나 [5] 저희가 산 자와 죽은 자 심판하기를 예비하신 자에게 직고하리라

(벧전 4:3-5, NKJV) [3] For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles--when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. [4] In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. [5] They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

 

(12) 땅의 일을 생각하는 자들

(빌 3:16-20, 개역) [16] 오직 우리가 어디까지 이르렀든지 그대로 행할 것이라 [17] 형제들아 너희는 함께 나를 본받으라 또 우리로 본을 삼은 것 같이 그대로 행하는 자들을 보이라 [18] 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라 [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니

(빌 3:16-20, NKJV) [16] Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. [17] Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. (13) 영으로 몸의 행실을 죽이라

(롬 8:12-13, 개역) [12] 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 빚진 자로되 육신에게 져서 육신대로 살 것이 아니니라 [13] 너희가 육신대로 살면 반드시 죽을 것이로되 영으로써 몸의 행실을 죽이면 살리니

(롬 8:12-13, NKJV) [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. [13] For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

 

(14) 돼지처럼 다시 타락함

(벧후 2:17-22, 개역) [17] 이 사람들은 물 없는 샘이요 광풍에 밀려 가는 안개니 저희를 위하여 캄캄한 어두움이 예비되어 있나니 [18] 저희가 허탄한 자랑의 말을 토하여 미혹한 데 행하는 사람들에게서 겨우 피한 자들을 음란으로써 육체의 정욕 중에서 유혹하여 [19] 저희에게 자유를 준다 하여도 자기는 멸망의 종들이니 누구든지 진 자는 이긴 자의 종이 됨이니라 [20] 만일 저희가 우리 주 되신 구주 예수 그리스도를 앎으로 세상의 더러움을 피한 후에 다시 그 중에 얽매이고 지면 그 나중 형편이 처음보다 더 심하리니 [21] 의의 도를 안 후에 받은 거룩한 명령을 저버리는 것보다 알지 못하는 것이 도리어 저희에게 나으니라 [22] 참 속담에 이르기를 개가 그 토하였던 것에 돌아가고 돼지가 씻었다가 더러운 구덩이에 도로 누웠다 하는 말이 저희에게 응하였도다

(벧후 2:17-22, NKJV) [17] These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. [18] For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. [19] While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. [20] For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. [21] For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. [22] But it has happened to them according to the true proverb： "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."

 

(15) 영혼을 거스려 싸우는 육체의 정욕을 제어하라.

(벧전 2:11, 개역) 사랑하는 자들아 나그네와 행인 같은 너희를 권하노니 영혼을 거스려 싸우는 육체의 정욕을 제어하라

(1Pt 2:11, NKJV) Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

 

(16) 이 세상은 육 안 이.

(요일 2:15-17, 개역) [15] 이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑치 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 속에 있지 아니하니 [16] 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라 [17] 이 세상도 그 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라

(요일 2:15-17, NKJV) [15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. [17] And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

 

7. 그리스도로 옷입어라.

(1) 의의 옷

(갈 3:26-29, 개역) [26] 너희가 다 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 아들이 되었으니 [27] 누구든지 그리스도와 합하여 세례를 받은 자는 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라 [28] 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자주자나 남자나 여자 없이 다 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이니라 [29] 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라

(갈 3:26-29, NKJV) [26] For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 

(2) 인격.

(갈 5:22-24, 개역) [22] 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 [23] 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라 [24] 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라

(갈 5:22-24, NKJV) [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. [24] And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

 

(빌 2:5, 개역) 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니

(Php 2:5, NKJV) Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

 

(3) 그리스도의 행하심

(마 9:35, 개역) 예수께서 모든 성과 촌에 두루 다니사 저희 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라

(Mt 9:35, NKJV) Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

 

(히 3:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 입은 거룩한 형제들아 우리의 믿는 도리의 사도시며 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하라 [2] 저가 자기를 세우신 이에게 충성하시기를 모세가 하나님의 온 집에서 한 것과 같으니 [3] 저는 모세보다 더욱 영광을 받을 만한 것이 마치 집 지은 자가 그 집보다 더욱 존귀함 같으니라

(히 3:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, [2] who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. [3] For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.

 

(벧전 1:15, 개역) 오직 너희를 부르신 거룩한 자처럼 너희도 모든 행실에 거룩한 자가 되라

(1Pt 1:15, NKJV) but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,

 

(4) 그리스도의 말씀

(벧전 4:11, 개역) 만일 누가 말하려면 하나님의 말씀을 하는 것 같이 하고 누가 봉사하려면 하나님의 공급하시는 힘으로 하는 것 같이 하라 이는 범사에 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님이 영광을 받으시게 하려 함이니 그에게 영광과 권능이 세세에 무궁토록 있느니라 아멘

(1Pt 4:11, NKJV) If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

 

(5) 본을 따라.

(벧전 2:18-25, 개역) [18] 사환들아 범사에 두려워함으로 주인들에게 순복하되 선하고 관용하는 자들에게만 아니라 또한 까다로운 자들에게도 그리하라 [19] 애매히 고난을 받아도 하나님을 생각함으로 슬픔을 참으면 이는 아름다우나 [20] 죄가 있어 매를 맞고 참으면 무슨 칭찬이 있으리요 오직 선을 행함으로 고난을 받고 참으면 이는 하나님 앞에 아름다우니라 [21] 이를 위하여 너희가 부르심을 입었으니 그리스도도 너희를 위하여 고난을 받으사 너희에게 본을 끼쳐 그 자취를 따라오게 하려 하셨느니라 [22] 저는 죄를 범치 아니하시고 그 입에 궤사도 없으시며 [23] 욕을 받으시되 대신 욕하지 아니하시고 고난을 받으시되 위협하지 아니하시고 오직 공의로 심판하시는 자에게 부탁하시며 [24] 친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여 죽고 의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라 저가 채찍에 맞음으로 너희는 나음을 얻었나니 [25] 너희가 전에는 양과 같이 길을 잃었더니 이제는 너희 영혼의 목자와 감독 되신 이에게 돌아왔느니라

(벧전 2:18-25, NKJV) [18] Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. [19] For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. [20] For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. [21] For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps： [22] "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth"; [23] who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; [24] who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed. [25] For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

 

(6) 내가하는 일을 저희도 할것이요.

(요 14:12, 개역) 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나를 믿는 자는 나의 하는 일을 저도 할 것이요 또한 이보다 큰 것도 하리니 이는 내가 아버지께로 감이니라

(Jn 14:12, NKJV) "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

 

(7) 내안에 그리스도

(갈 2:20, 개역) 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라

(Gl 2:20, NKJV) "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

 

(8) 그리스도의 향기를

(고전 2:14-17, 개역) [14] 육에 속한 사람은 하나님의 성령의 일을 받지 아니하나니 저희에게는 미련하게 보임이요 또 깨닫지도 못하나니 이런 일은 영적으로라야 분변함이니라 [15] 신령한 자는 모든 것을 판단하나 자기는 아무에게도 판단을 받지 아니하느니라 [16] 누가 주의 마음을 알아서 주를 가르치겠느냐 그러나 우리가 그리스도의 마음을 가졌느니라

(고후 2:14-17, 개역) [14] 항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라 [15] 우리는 구원 얻는 자들에게나 망하는 자들에게나 하나님 앞에서 그리스도의 향기니 [16] 이 사람에게는 사망으로 좇아 사망에 이르는 냄새요 저 사람에게는 생명으로 좇아 생명에 이르는 냄새라 누가 이것을 감당하리요 [17] 우리는 수다한 사람과 같이 하나님의 말씀을 혼잡하게 하지 아니하고 곧 순전함으로 하나님께 받은 것 같이 하나님 앞에서와 그리스도 안에서 말하노라

(고후 2:14-17, NKJV) [14] Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. [15] For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. [16] To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? [17] For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

 

(9) 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새사람을 입으라

(10) 신의 성품에 참예한자.

(벧후 1:3-8, 개역) [3] 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라 [4] 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니 [5] 이러므로 너희가 더욱 힘써 너희 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을, [6] 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을, [7] 경건에 형제 우애를, 형제 우애에 사랑을 공급하라 [8] 이런 것이 너희에게 있어 흡족한즉 너희로 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 알기에 게으르지 않고 열매 없는 자가 되지 않게 하려니와

(벧후 1:3-8, NKJV) [3] as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, [4] by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, [6] to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, [7] to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. [8] For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

(11) 항상 바라보라.

(히 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며 [2] 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 [3] 너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라

(히 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

 

(12) 앞서 가신 주님.

(히 6:16-20, 개역) [16] 사람들은 자기보다 더 큰 자를 가리켜 맹세하나니 맹세는 저희 모든 다투는 일에 최후 확정이니라 [17] 하나님은 약속을 기업으로 받는 자들에게 그 뜻이 변치 아니함을 충분히 나타내시려고 그 일에 맹세로 보증하셨나니 [18] 이는 하나님이 거짓말을 하실 수 없는 이 두 가지 변치 못할 사실을 인하여 앞에 있는 소망을 얻으려고 피하여 가는 우리로 큰 안위를 받게 하려 하심이라 [19] 우리가 이 소망이 있는 것은 영혼의 닻 같아서 튼튼하고 견고하여 휘장 안에 들어가나니 [20] 그리로 앞서 가신 예수께서 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇아 영원히 대제사장이 되어 우리를 위하여 들어가셨느니라

(히 6:16-20, NKJV) [16] For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. [17] Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, [18] that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. [19] This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, [20] where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

 

(13) 그날에 주님처럼 변화됨

(빌 3:19-21, 개역) [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라

(빌 3:19-21, NKJV) [19] whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. [20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

 

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

나는 이 세상에서 어떻게 구별된 삶을 살고 있습니까?

세상의 법을 지키며 살아야 합니다.

복음을 위해서입니다.

하나님이 세우셨기 때문입니다.

그러나 그 정권이 우리의 믿음에 직접적인 적이 된다면 순종하지 말아야 합니다.

사랑은 율법의 완성입니다.

사랑은 악을 행하지 않기 때문입니다.

예수님께서 이 세상의 모든 죄악의 집을 대신 지시고 십자가에서 그 형벌을 갚으셨습니다. 더 이상 정죄가 없습니다.

새생명과 성령을 부어주셔서 주님의 마음을 주시고 사랑으로 살수 있게 하셨습니다. 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑합니다.

지금은 잠잘 때가 아니요 깨어 일어날 때입니다.

여러 가지 징조가 나타나고 있고 특별히 이스라엘의 징조가 심상치 않습니다.

우리는 빛의 갑옷을 입어야 합니다.

거룩함과 의로운 생활입니다.

각종 세상 정욕을 버려야 합니다.

예수그리스도로 옷을 입어야 합니다.

예수님의 본을 따르고 예수님의 향기를 들어내며 예수님의 인격을 닮아가야 합니다.

 

오늘도, 이 세상에서 예수님을 믿는 성도임을 항상 자각하고 주님과 함께 동행하며 시대를 분별하여 깨어서 주님을 항바라봄으로 주님을 더욱 사랑하고 닮아가는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
