<예수님을 배척한 이스라엘>
(롬 9:1-13, 개역) [1] 내가 그리스도 안에서 참말을 하고 거짓말을 아니하노라 내게 큰 근심이 있는 것과 마음에 그치지 않는 고통이 있는 것을 내 양심이 성령 안에서 나로 더불어 증거하노니 [2] [1절과 같음] [3] 나의 형제 곧 골육의 친척을 위하여 내 자신이 저주를 받아 그리스도에게서 끊어질지라도 원하는 바로라 [4] 저희는 이스라엘 사람이라 저희에게는 양자 됨과 영광과 언약들과 율법을 세우신 것과 예배와 약속들이 있고 [5] 조상들도 저희 것이요 육신으로 하면 그리스도가 저희에게서 나셨으니 저는 만물 위에 계셔 세세에 찬양을 받으실 하나님이시니라 아멘 [6] 또한 하나님의 말씀이 폐하여진 것 같지 않도다 이스라엘에게서 난 그들이 다 이스라엘이 아니요 [7] 또한 아브라함의 씨가 다 그 자녀가 아니라 오직 이삭으로부터 난 자라야 네 씨라 칭하리라 하셨으니 [8] 곧 육신의 자녀가 하나님의 자녀가 아니라 오직 약속의 자녀가 씨로 여기심을 받느니라 [9] 약속의 말씀은 이것이라 명년 이 때에 내가 이르리니 사라에게 아들이 있으리라 하시니라 [10] 이뿐 아니라 또한 리브가가 우리 조상 이삭 한 사람으로 말미암아 잉태하였는데 [11] 그 자식들이 아직 나지도 아니하고 무슨 선이나 악을 행하지 아니한 때에 택하심을 따라 되는 하나님의 뜻이 행위로 말미암지 않고 오직 부르시는 이에게로 말미암아 서게 하려 하사 [12] 리브가에게 이르시되 큰 자가 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨나니 [13] 기록된 바 내가 야곱은 사랑하고 에서는 미워하였다 하심과 같으니라
(롬 9:1-13, NKJV) [1] I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, [2] that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. [3] For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, [4] who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; [5] of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen. [6] But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, [7] nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called." [8] That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. [9] For this is the word of promise： "At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son." [10] And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac [11] (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), [12] it was said to her, "The older shall serve the younger." [13] As it is written, "Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated."
여태것 믿음으로 의롭다하심을 받는다는 사실을 강조하고 결코 정죄없고 끊을수 없다는 확신으로 마친 바울은 9장 10장 11장에서 이스라엘 민족의 구원에 대하여 말합니다. 바울은 자신의 민족인 이스라엘이 자신의 메시야를 거절하고 죽이기 까지 한 사실을 뼈아프게 생각하며 하나님이 이스라엘을 버리셨는가 구약에 약속하신 말씀들은 다 무효가 되고 말았는 가 하는 큰 의문에 휩싸인 것으로 보입니다.
그러나 결론은 하나님이 이스라엘을 아주 버리신 것이 아니라는 것입니다.
하나님의 말씀은 실패할 수가 없습니다. 이스라엘의 구원은 하나님의 특별한 섭리로써 잠시 이방인의 숫자가 차기 까지 미루고 계심을 나중에 말씀하고 있습니다.
이스라엘은 하나님의 큰 축복을 받았고 메시야를 보낸 민족입니다. 그럼에도 예수님을 배척하고 십자가에 못밖았습니다.
살펴 보면 이미 바울은 육신적 표면적 유대인이 유대인이 아니요 이면적 유대인이 참 이스라엘임을 선언하였습니다. 그러므로 아브라함의 자손이라고 해서 다 참 이스라엘이 아니라 이삭의 자손만 이스라엘이며 이삭의 자손이라고 해서 다 이스라엘이 되는 것이 아니라 오직 야곱의 자손만 참 유대인으로 인정되지만 결국 마찬가지로 야곱의 모든 자손이 하나님의 백성이 되는 것은 아님을 말하고 있습니다.
모든 것은 하나님의 절대주권아래 있다는 말씀입니다.
야곱과 에서가 태어나기도 전에 그리스도 무슨 선한 일이거나 악한 일을 하지도 않았음에도 하나님은 큰자가 작은 자를 섬길 것을 말씀하셨고 그렇게 되었습니다.
그렇다고 이렇게 정하신 하나님이 불의하신 것이 아닙니다. 하나님에게는 절대적 주권이 있기 때문입니다.
여기서 우리는 하나님의 예정하심을 볼수가 있습니다. 그렇다고 해서 인간의 자유가 박탈된 것은 아닙니다. 하나님의 주권과 인간의 자유의 관계는 그동안 많은 논쟁이 있었고 지금도 계속되는 주제입니다.
웨슬리는 인간의 구원은 100퍼센트 하나님의 은혜이며 동시에 100퍼센트 인간의 책임이라고 하였습니다. 아담에게 자유의지를 주셨기에 아담은 그 자유의지를 가지고 선악과를 따먹었습니다. 하나님은 분명히 아담이 배반할 것을 알고 계셨습니다. 그럼에도 인간을 로봇으로 만드실수는 없었고 자유의지를 주신것입니다. 성경은 분명히 창세전에 택하셨음을 말씀하셨고 동시에 누구든지 주님을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻는다고 하셨으며 모든 사람들이 구원을 얻기를 원하심을 말씀하고 있습니다.
이런 것은 앞으로 계속되는 주제이기에 더욱 논의가 필요합니다.
오늘은 언약에 신실하신 하나님은 이스라엘을 버리지 아니하셨음 깨닫고 구원받지 못한 이웃을 향하여 바울처럼 마음에 아픔을 품고 더욱 전도와 선교에 힘을 쓰는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 축원합니다.
1. 바울의 큰 근심.
(1) 바울의 진심
(롬 1:9, 개역) 내가 그의 아들의 복음 안에서 내 심령으로 섬기는 하나님이 나의 증인이 되시거니와 항상 내 기도에 쉬지 않고 너희를 말하며
(Rm 1:9, NKJV) For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,
(빌 1:8, 개역) 내가 예수 그리스도의 심장으로 너희 무리를 어떻게 사모하는지 하나님이 내 증인이시니라
(Php 1:8, NKJV) For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
(딤전 2:7, 개역) 이를 위하여 내가 전파하는 자와 사도로 세움을 입은 것은 참말이요 거짓말이 아니니 믿음과 진리 안에서 내가 이방인의 스승이 되었노라
(1Tm 2:7, NKJV) for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle--I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying--a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
(2) 고통.
(시 119:136, 개역) 저희가 주의 법을 지키지 아니하므로 내 눈물이 시냇물 같이 흐르나이다
(Ps 119:136, NKJV) Rivers of water run down from my eyes, Because men do not keep Your law.
(3) 슬프고 아프다
(렘 4:19, 개역) 슬프고 아프다 내 마음 속이 아프고 내 마음이 답답하여 잠잠할 수 없으니 이는 나의 심령 네가 나팔소리와 전쟁의 경보를 들음이로다
(Jr 4:19, NKJV) O my soul, my soul! I am pained in my very heart! My heart makes a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, Because you have heard, O my soul, The sound of the trumpet, The alarm of war.
(4) 눈물이 그치지 않는다.
(애 3:48-52, 개역) [48] 처녀 내 백성의 파멸을 인하여 내 눈에 눈물이 시내처럼 흐르도다 [49] 내 눈의 흐르는 눈물이 그치지 아니하고 쉬지 아니함이여 [50] 여호와께서 하늘에서 살피시고 돌아보시기를 기다리는도다 [51] 나의 성읍의 모든 여자를 인하여 내 눈이 내 심령을 상하게 하는도다 [52] 무고히 나의 대적이 된 자가 나를 새와 같이 심히 쫓도다
(애 3:48-52, NKJV) [48] My eyes overflow with rivers of water For the destruction of the daughter of my people. [49] My eyes flow and do not cease, Without interruption, [50] Till the LORD from heaven Looks down and sees. [51] My eyes bring suffering to my soul Because of all the daughters of my city. [52] My enemies without cause Hunted me down like a bird.
(5) 가증한 일로 인하여 탄식하며 우는 자들
(겔 9:4, 개역) 이르시되 너는 예루살렘 성읍 중에 순행하여 그 가운데서 행하는 모든 가증한 일로 인하여 탄식하며 우는 자의 이마에 표하라 하시고
(Ezk 9:4, NKJV) and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it."
(6) 예루살렘을 보고 우셨던 주님
(눅 19:41-44, 개역) [41] 가까이 오사 성을 보시고 우시며 [42] 가라사대 너도 오늘날 평화에 관한 일을 알았더면 좋을 뻔하였거니와 지금 네 눈에 숨기웠도다 [43] 날이 이를지라 네 원수들이 토성을 쌓고 너를 둘러 사면으로 가두고 [44] 또 너와 및 그 가운데 있는 네 자식들을 땅에 메어치며 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남기지 아니하리니 이는 권고 받는 날을 네가 알지 못함을 인함이니라 하시니라
(눅 19:41-44, NKJV) [41] Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, [42] saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. [43] "For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, [44] "and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."
(7) 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니
(빌 3:18-21, 개역) [18] 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라 [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라
(빌 3:18-21, NKJV) [18] For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ： [19] whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. [20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
(8) 양심
(행 24:16, 개역) 이것을 인하여 나도 하나님과 사람을 대하여 항상 양심에 거리낌이 없기를 힘쓰노라
(Ac 24:16, NKJV) "This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
(고후 5:11, 개역) 우리가 주의 두려우심을 알므로 사람을 권하노니 우리가 하나님 앞에 알리워졌고 또 너희의 양심에도 알리워졌기를 바라노라
(2Co 5:11, NKJV) Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.
(딤전 4:2, 개역) 자기 양심이 화인 맞아서 외식함으로 거짓말하는 자들이라
(1Tm 4:2, NKJV) speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
(9) 성령님의 증거
(롬 8:16, 개역) 성령이 친히 우리 영으로 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증거하시나니
(Rm 8:16, NKJV) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
(10) 책망할 것이 없는 마음
(요일 3:20-22, 개역) [20] 우리 마음이 혹 우리를 책망할 일이 있거든 하물며 우리 마음보다 크시고 모든 것을 아시는 하나님일까 보냐 [21] 사랑하는 자들아 만일 우리 마음이 우리를 책망할 것이 없으면 하나님 앞에서 담대함을 얻고 [22] 무엇이든지 구하는 바를 그에게 받나니 이는 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키고 그 앞에서 기뻐하시는 것을 행함이라
(요일 3:20-22, NKJV) [20] For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. [21] Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. [22] And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
(11) 그리스도에게서 끊어질지라도.
(출 32:32, 개역) 그러나 합의하시면 이제 그들의 죄를 사하시옵소서 그렇지 않사오면 원컨대 주의 기록하신 책에서 내 이름을 지워버려주옵소서
(Ex 32:32, NKJV) "Yet now, if You will forgive their sin--but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written."
(12) 불꽃가운데 고민하나이다.
(눅 16:19-26, 개역) [19] 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데 [20] 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 [21] 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 [22] 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 [23] 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 [24] 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 [25] 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라 [26] 이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너올 수도 없게 하였느니라

[20] "But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, [21] "desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. [23] "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [25] "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. [26] 'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'
2. 이스라엘이 받은 축복.
(1) 축복받은 이름
(창 32:28, 개역) 그 사람이 가로되 네 이름을 다시는 야곱이라 부를 것이 아니요 이스라엘이라 부를 것이니 이는 네가 하나님과 사람으로 더불어 겨루어 이기었음이니라
(Gn 32:28, NKJV) And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."
(2) 내 소유
(출 19:3-6, 개역) [3] 모세가 하나님 앞에 올라가니 여호와께서 산에서 그를 불러 가라사대 너는 이같이 야곱 족속에게 이르고 이스라엘 자손에게 고하라 [4] 나의 애굽 사람에게 어떻게 행하였음과 내가 어떻게 독수리 날개로 너희를 업어 내게로 인도하였음을 너희가 보았느니라 [5] 세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 열국 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고 [6] 너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라엘 자손에게 고할지니라
(출 19:3-6, NKJV) [3] And Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel： [4] 'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself. [5] 'Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. [6] 'And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."
(3) 택하심
(신 7:6, 개역) 너는 여호와 네 하나님의 성민이라 네 하나님 여호와께서 지상 만민 중에서 너를 자기 기업의 백성으로 택하셨나니
(Dt 7:6, NKJV) "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
(4) 내 아들 내 장자
(출 4:22, 개역) 너는 바로에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 이스라엘은 내 아들 내 장자라
(Ex 4:22, NKJV) "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD： "Israel is My son, My firstborn.
(5) 측은히 여기심
(렘 31:20, 개역) 에브라임은 나의 사랑하는 아들 기뻐하는 자식이 아니냐 내가 그를 책망하여 말할 때마다 깊이 생각하노라 그러므로 그를 위하여 내 마음이 측은한즉 내가 반드시 그를 긍휼히 여기리라 여호와의 말이니라
(Jr 31:20, NKJV) Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.
(6) 애굽에서 불러낸 아들
(호 11:1, 개역) 이스라엘의 어렸을 때에 내가 사랑하여 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러내었거늘
(Hs 11:1, NKJV) "When Israel was a child, I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.
(7) 회막에서 하나님의 음성을 들은 모세
(민 7:89, 개역) 모세가 회막에 들어가서 여호와께 말씀하려 할 때에 증거궤 위 속죄소 위의 두 그룹 사이에서 자기에게 말씀하시는 목소리를 들었으니 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하심이었더라
(Nm 7:89, NKJV) Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.
(8) 여호와의 영광
(왕상 8:11, 개역) 제사장이 그 구름으로 인하여 능히 서서 섬기지 못하였으니 이는 여호와의 영광이 여호와의 전에 가득함이었더라
(1Kg 8:11, NKJV) so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.
(9) 횃불 언약
(창 15:18, 개역) 그 날에 여호와께서 아브람으로 더불어 언약을 세워 가라사대 내가 이 땅을 애굽강에서부터 그 큰 강 유브라데까지 네 자손에게 주노니
(Gn 15:18, NKJV) On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying： "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates--
(10) 할례언약
(창 17:7-10, 개역) [7] 내가 내 언약을 나와 너와 네 대대 후손의 사이에 세워서 영원한 언약을 삼고 너와 네 후손의 하나님이 되리라 [8] 내가 너와 네 후손에게 너의 우거하는 이 땅 곧 가나안 일경으로 주어 영원한 기업이 되게 하고 나는 그들의 하나님이 되리라 [9] 하나님이 또 아브라함에게 이르시되 그런즉 너는 내 언약을 지키고 네 후손도 대대로 지키라 [10] 너희 중 남자는 다 할례를 받으라 이것이 나와 너희와 너희 후손 사이에 지킬 내 언약이니라
(창 17:7-10, NKJV) [7] "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. [8] "Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." [9] And God said to Abraham： "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations. [10] "This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you： Every male child among you shall be circumcised;
(11) 시내산 언약
(출 24:7-8, 개역) [7] 언약서를 가져 백성에게 낭독하여 들리매 그들이 가로되 여호와의 모든 말씀을 우리가 준행하리이다 [8] 모세가 그 피를 취하여 백성에게 뿌려 가로되 이는 여호와께서 이 모든 말씀에 대하여 너희와 세우신 언약의 피니라
(출 24:7-8, NKJV) [7] Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, "All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient." [8] And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, "This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words."
(12) 새언약
(렘 31:33, 개역) 나 여호와가 말하노라 그러나 그 날 후에 내가 이스라엘 집에 세울 언약은 이러하니 곧 내가 나의 법을 그들의 속에 두며 그 마음에 기록하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이라
(Jr 31:33, NKJV) "But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD： I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
(13) 말씀 맡음
(롬 3:1-2, 개역) [1] 그런즉 유대인의 나음이 무엇이며 할례의 유익이 무엇이뇨 [2] 범사에 많으니 첫째는 저희가 하나님의 말씀을 맡았음이니라
(롬 3:1-2, NKJV) [1] What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? [2] Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.
(14) 율법
(요 1:17, 개역) 율법은 모세로 말미암아 주신 것이요 은혜와 진리는 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 온 것이라
(Jn 1:17, NKJV) For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
(15) 계명 율례
(느 9:13-14, 개역) [13] 또 시내 산에 강림하시고 하늘에서부터 저희와 말씀하사 정직한 규례와 진정한 율법과 선한 율례와 계명을 저희에게 주시고 [14] 거룩한 안식일을 저희에게 알리시며 주의 종 모세로 계명과 율례와 율법을 저희에게 명하시고
(느 9:13-14, NKJV) [13] "You came down also on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven, And gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments. [14] You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, And commanded them precepts, statutes and laws, By the hand of Moses Your servant.
(16) 제사제도

(17) 구원의 뿔
(눅 1:69-73, 개역) [69] 우리를 위하여 구원의 뿔을 그 종 다윗의 집에 일으키셨으니 [70] 이것은 주께서 예로부터 거룩한 선지자의 입으로 말씀하신 바와 같이 [71] 우리 원수에게서와 우리를 미워하는 모든 자의 손에서 구원하시는 구원이라 [72] 우리 조상을 긍휼히 여기시며 그 거룩한 언약을 기억하셨으니 [73] 곧 우리 조상 아브라함에게 맹세하신 맹세라

(18) 이스라엘의 특권
(엡 2:12, 개역) 그 때에 너희는 그리스도 밖에 있었고 이스라엘 나라 밖의 사람이라 약속의 언약들에 대하여 외인이요 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님도 없는 자이더니
(Eph 2:12, NKJV) that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
3. 이스라엘에서 나신 그리스도.
(1) 예수님의 족보

(2) 아브라함의 씨 예수 그리스도
(창 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 지시할 땅으로 가라 [2] 내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대케 하리니 너는 복의 근원이 될지라 [3] 너를 축복하는 자에게는 내가 복을 내리고 너를 저주하는 자에게는 내가 저주하리니 땅의 모든 족속이 너를 인하여 복을 얻을 것이니라 하신지라
(창 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Now the LORD had said to Abram： "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. [2] I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. (3) 유다의 홀
(창 49:10, 개역) 홀이 유다를 떠나지 아니하며 치리자의 지팡이가 그 발 사이에서 떠나지 아니하시기를 실로가 오시기까지 미치리니 그에게 모든 백성이 복종하리로다
(Gn 49:10, NKJV) The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
(4) 사 7.14
(사 7:14, 개역) 그러므로 주께서 친히 징조로 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라
(Is 7:14, NKJV) "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign： Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
(5) 이새의 줄기
(사 11:1-2, 개역) [1] 이새의 줄기에서 한 싹이 나며 그 뿌리에서 한 가지가 나서 결실할 것이요 [2] 여호와의 신 곧 지혜와 총명의 신이요 모략과 재능의 신이요 지식과 여호와를 경외하는 신이 그 위에 강림하시리니
(사 11:1-2, NKJV) [1] There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. [2] The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
(6) 영원한 다윗의 왕위
(삼하 7:16, 개역) 네 집과 네 나라가 내 앞에서 영원히 보전되고 네 위가 영원히 견고하리라 하셨다 하라
(2Sm 7:16, NKJV) "And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever."'"
(7) 다윗의 자손
(요 7:42, 개역) 성경에 이르기를 그리스도는 다윗의 씨로 또 다윗의 살던 촌 베들레헴에서 나오리라 하지 아니하였느냐 하며
(Jn 7:42, NKJV) "Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?"
(눅 18:39, 개역) 앞서 가는 자들이 저를 꾸짖어 잠잠하라 하되 저가 더욱 심히 소리 질러 다윗의 자손이여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하는지라
(Lk 18:39, NKJV) Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
(행 13:22, 개역) 폐하시고 다윗을 왕으로 세우시고 증거하여 가라사대 내가 이새의 아들 다윗을 만나니 내 마음에 합한 사람이라 내 뜻을 다 이루게 하리라 하시더니
(Ac 13:22, NKJV) "And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.'
(8) 다윗의 뿌리요
(계 22:16, 개역) 나 예수는 교회들을 위하여 내 사자를 보내어 이것들을 너희에게 증거하게 하였노라 나는 다윗의 뿌리요 자손이니 곧 광명한 새벽별이라 하시더라
(Rv 22:16, NKJV) "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
(9) 메시야를 죽인 이스라엘
(행 2:22-27, 개역) [22] 이스라엘 사람들아 이 말을 들으라 너희도 아는 바에 하나님께서 나사렛 예수로 큰 권능과 기사와 표적을 너희 가운데서 베푸사 너희 앞에서 그를 증거하셨느니라 [23] 그가 하나님의 정하신 뜻과 미리 아신 대로 내어준 바 되었거늘 너희가 법 없는 자들의 손을 빌어 못 박아 죽였으나 [24] 하나님께서 사망의 고통을 풀어 살리셨으니 이는 그가 사망에게 매여 있을 수 없었음이라 [25] 다윗이 저를 가리켜 가로되 내가 항상 내 앞에 계신 주를 뵈었음이여 나로 요동치 않게 하기 위하여 그가 내 우편에 계시도다 [26] 이러므로 내 마음이 기뻐하였고 내 입술도 즐거워하였으며 육체는 희망에 거하리니 [27] 이는 내 영혼을 음부에 버리지 아니하시며 주의 거룩한 자로 썩음을 당치 않게 하실 것임이로다

[25] "For David says concerning Him： 'I foresaw the LORD always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. [26] Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. [27] For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

(행 3:11-16, NKJV) [11] Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed. [12] So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people： "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? [13] "The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. [14] "But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, [15] "and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. [16] "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
(마 27:20-26, 개역) [20] 대제사장들과 장로들이 무리를 권하여 바라바를 달라 하게 하고 예수를 멸하자 하게 하였더니 [21] 총독이 대답하여 가로되 둘 중에 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 가로되 바라바로소이다 [22] 빌라도가 가로되 그러면 그리스도라하는 예수를 내가 어떻게 하랴 저희가 다 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 [23] 빌라도가 가로되 어찜이뇨 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 저희가 더욱 소리질러 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 하는지라 [24] 빌라도가 아무 효험도 없이 도리어 민란이 나려는 것을 보고 물을 가져다가 무리 앞에서 손을 씻으며 가로되 이 사람의 피에 대하여 나는 무죄하니 너희가 당하라 [25] 백성이 다 대답하여 가로되 그 피를 우리와 우리 자손에게 돌릴지어다 하거늘 [26] 이에 바라바는 저희에게 놓아주고 예수는 채찍질하고 십자가에 못 박히게 넘겨 주니라
(마 27:20-26, NKJV) [20] But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. [21] The governor answered and said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" They said, "Barabbas!" [22] Pilate said to them, "What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?" They all said to him, "Let Him be crucified!" [23] Then the governor said, "Why, what evil has He done?" But they cried out all the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified!" [24] When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it." [25] And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children." [26] Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.
4. 만물위에 계신 분
(1) 영영한 보좌
(시 45:6, 개역) 하나님이여 주의 보좌가 영영하며 주의 나라의 홀은 공평한 홀이니이다
(Ps 45:6, NKJV) Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
(2) 보좌에서 통치하심
(시 103:19-21, 개역) [19] 여호와께서 그 보좌를 하늘에 세우시고 그 정권으로 만유를 통치하시도다 [20] 능력이 있어 여호와의 말씀을 이루며 그 말씀의 소리를 듣는 너희 천사여 여호와를 송축하라 [21] 여호와를 봉사하여 그 뜻을 행하는 너희 모든 천군이여 여호와를 송축하라
(시 103:19-21, NKJV) [19] The LORD has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all. [20] Bless the LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. [21] Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
(3) 전능하신 하나님
(사 9:6-7, 개역) [6] 이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신바 되었는데 그 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라 [7] 그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 또 다윗의 위에 앉아서 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 자금 이후 영원토록 공평과 정의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리라
(사 9:6-7, NKJV) [6] For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [7] Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
(4) 하나님의 말씀 창조자
(요 1:1-5, 개역) [1] 태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라 [2] 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고 [3] 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라 [4] 그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라 [5] 빛이 어두움에 비취되 어두움이 깨닫지 못하더라
(요 1:1-5, NKJV) [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
(5) 모든 이름위에 뛰어난 이름
(빌 2:5-11, 개역) [5] 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 [6] 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고 [7] 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고 [8] 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라 [9] 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 [10] 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 [11] 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
(빌 2:5-11, NKJV) [5] Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, [6] who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, [7] but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. [9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(6) 창조의 목적
(골 1:16-17, 개역) [16] 만물이 그에게 창조되되 하늘과 땅에서 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 혹은 보좌들이나 주관들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 만물이 다 그로 말미암고 그를 위하여 창조되었고 [17] 또한 그가 만물보다 먼저 계시고 만물이 그 안에 함께 섰느니라
(골 1:16-17, NKJV) [16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. [17] And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
(7) 경건의 비밀
(딤전 3:16, 개역) 크도다 경건의 비밀이여 그렇지 않다 하는 이 없도다 그는 육신으로 나타난 바 되시고 영으로 의롭다 하심을 입으시고 천사들에게 보이시고 만국에서 전파되시고 세상에서 믿은 바 되시고 영광 가운데서 올리우셨음이니라
(1Tm 3:16, NKJV) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness： God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
(8) 주의 보좌가 영영하며
(히 1:8-13, 개역) [8] 아들에 관하여는 하나님이여 주의 보좌가 영영하며 주의 나라의 홀은 공평한 홀이니이다 [9] 네가 의를 사랑하고 불법을 미워하였으니 그러므로 하나님 곧 너의 하나님이 즐거움의 기름을 네게 부어 네 동류들보다 승하게 하셨도다 하였고 [10] 또 주여 태초에 주께서 땅의 기초를 두셨으며 하늘도 주의 손으로 지으신 바라 [11] 그것들은 멸망할 것이나 오직 주는 영존할 것이요 그것들은 다 옷과 같이 낡아지리니 [12] 의복처럼 갈아 입을 것이요 그것들이 옷과 같이 변할 것이나 주는 여전하여 연대가 다함이 없으리라 하였으나 [13] 어느 때에 천사 중 누구에게 내가 네 원수로 네 발등상 되게 하기까지 너는 내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨느뇨
(히 1:8-13, NKJV) [8] But to the Son He says： "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. (9) 참 하나님 영생
(요일 5:20, 개역) 또 아는 것은 하나님의 아들이 이르러 우리에게 지각을 주사 우리로 참된 자를 알게 하신 것과 또한 우리가 참된 자 곧 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 것이니 그는 참 하나님이시요 영생이시라
(1Jn 5:20, NKJV) And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
5. 찬양받으실 하나님
(1) 영원히 찬송받으실 분
(롬 1:25, 개역) 이는 저희가 하나님의 진리를 거짓 것으로 바꾸어 피조물을 조물주보다 더 경배하고 섬김이라 주는 곧 영원히 찬송할 이시로다 아멘
(Rm 1:25, NKJV) who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
(2) 영화로운 이름
(시 72:19, 개역) 그 영화로운 이름을 영원히 찬송할지어다 온 땅에 그 영광이 충만할찌어다 아멘 아멘
(Ps 72:19, NKJV) And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.
(3) 찬송받으실 분
(고후 11:31, 개역) 주 예수의 아버지 영원히 찬송할 하나님이 나의 거짓말 아니하는 줄을 아시느니라
(2Co 11:31, NKJV) The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
(4) 만왕의 왕 만주의 주
(딤전 6:15, 개역) 기약이 이르면 하나님이 그의 나타나심을 보이시리니 하나님은 복되시고 홀로 한 분이신 능하신 자이며 만왕의 왕이시며 만주의 주시요
(1Tm 6:15, NKJV) which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
(5) 알파 오메가
(계 22:12-13, 개역) [12] 보라 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그의 일한 대로 갚아 주리라 [13] 나는 알파와 오메가요 처음과 나중이요 시작과 끝이라
(계 22:12-13, NKJV) [12] "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. [13] "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
(6) 거룩하신 하나님
(계 4:8-11, 개역) [8] 네 생물이 각각 여섯 날개가 있고 그 안과 주위에 눈이 가득하더라 그들이 밤낮 쉬지 않고 이르기를 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 주 하나님 곧 전능하신 이여 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 장차 오실 자라 하고 [9] 그 생물들이 영광과 존귀와 감사를 보좌에 앉으사 세세토록 사시는 이에게 돌릴 때에 [10] 이십사 장로들이 보좌에 앉으신 이 앞에 엎드려 세세토록 사시는 이에게 경배하고 자기의 면류관을 보좌 앞에 던지며 가로되 [11] 우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 능력을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니 주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다 하더라
(계 4:8-11, NKJV) [8] The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying： "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!" [9] Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, [10] the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying： [11] "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."
(7) 찬송받으시기에 합당하심
(계 5:12, 개역) 큰 음성으로 가로되 죽임을 당하신 어린 양이 능력과 부와 지혜와 힘과 존귀와 영광과 찬송을 받으시기에 합당하도다 하더라
(Rv 5:12, NKJV) saying with a loud voice： "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
(8) 할렐루야!
(계 19:1-5, 개역) [1] 이 일 후에 내가 들으니 하늘에 허다한 무리의 큰 음성 같은 것이 있어 가로되 할렐루야 구원과 영광과 능력이 우리 하나님께 있도다 [2] 그의 심판은 참되고 의로운지라 음행으로 땅을 더럽게 한 큰 음녀를 심판하사 자기 종들의 피를 그의 손에 갚으셨도다 하고 [3] 두번째 가로되 할렐루야 하더니 그 연기가 세세토록 올라가더라 [4] 또 이십사 장로와 네 생물이 엎드려 보좌에 앉으신 하나님께 경배하여 가로되 아멘 할렐루야 하니 [5] 보좌에서 음성이 나서 가로되 하나님의 종들 곧 그를 경외하는 너희들아 무론대소하고 다 우리 하나님께 찬송하라

6. 약속의 자녀만 참 이스라엘.
(1) 돌들로도 아브라함의 자손이 되게 하시리라.
(눅 3:8, 개역) 그러므로 회개에 합당한 열매를 맺고 속으로 아브라함이 우리 조상이라 말하지 말라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 하나님이 능히 이 돌들로도 아브라함의 자손이 되게 하시리라
(Lk 3:8, NKJV) "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
(2) 참 유대인
(롬 2:28-29, 개역) [28] 대저 표면적 유대인이 유대인이 아니요 표면적 육신의 할례가 할례가 아니라 [29] 오직 이면적 유대인이 유대인이며 할례는 마음에 할지니 신령에 있고 의문에 있지 아니한 것이라 그 칭찬이 사람에게서가 아니요 다만 하나님에게서니라
(롬 2:28-29, NKJV) [28] For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; [29] but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
(3) 이스마엘(메시야의 라인에서 제외, 구원에서의 제외?)
(창 16:8-14, 개역) [8] 가로되 사래의 여종 하갈아 네가 어디서 왔으며 어디로 가느냐 그가 가로되 나는 나의 여주인 사래를 피하여 도망하나이다 [9] 여호와의 사자가 그에게 이르되 네 여주인에게로 돌아가서 그 수하에 복종하라 [10] 여호와의 사자가 또 그에게 이르되 내가 네 자손으로 크게 번성하여 그 수가 많아 셀 수 없게 하리라 [11] 여호와의 사자가 또 그에게 이르되 네가 잉태하였은즉 아들을 낳으리니 그 이름을 이스마엘이라 하라 이는 여호와께서 네 고통을 들으셨음이니라 [12] 그가 사람 중에 들나귀 같이 되리니 그 손이 모든 사람을 치겠고 모든 사람의 손이 그를 칠지며 그가 모든 형제의 동방에서 살리라 하니라 [13] 하갈이 자기에게 이르신 여호와의 이름을 감찰하시는 하나님이라 하였으니 이는 내가 어떻게 여기서 나를 감찰하시는 하나님을 뵈었는고 함이라 [14] 이러므로 그 샘을 브엘라해로이라 불렀으며 그것이 가데스와 베렛 사이에 있더라

[10] Then the Angel of the LORD said to her, "I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude." [11] And the Angel of the LORD said to her： "Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the LORD has heard your affliction. [12] He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man's hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." [13] Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, "Have I also here seen Him who sees me?" [14] Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
(4) 아브라함의 믿음으로 된 자들
(롬 4:11-16, 개역) [11] 저가 할례의 표를 받은 것은 무할례시에 믿음으로 된 의를 인친 것이니 이는 무할례자로서 믿는 모든 자의 조상이 되어 저희로 의로 여기심을 얻게 하려 하심이라 [12] 또한 할례자의 조상이 되었나니 곧 할례 받을 자에게뿐 아니라 우리 조상 아브라함의 무할례시에 가졌던 믿음의 자취를 좇는 자들에게도니라 [13] 아브라함이나 그 후손에게 세상의 후사가 되리라고 하신 언약은 율법으로 말미암은 것이 아니요 오직 믿음의 의로 말미암은 것이니라 [14] 만일 율법에 속한 자들이 후사이면 믿음은 헛것이 되고 약속은 폐하여졌느니라 [15] 율법은 진노를 이루게 하나니 율법이 없는 곳에는 범함도 없느니라 [16] 그러므로 후사가 되는 이것이 은혜에 속하기 위하여 믿음으로 되나니 이는 그 약속을 그 모든 후손에게 굳게 하려 하심이라 율법에 속한 자에게뿐 아니라 아브라함의 믿음에 속한 자에게도니 아브라함은 하나님 앞에서 우리 모든 사람의 조상이라
(롬 4:11-16, NKJV) [11] And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also, [12] and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised. [13] For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. [14] For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, [15] because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. [16] Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all
(5) 육체를 따라난 자들
(갈 4:22-31, 개역) [22] 기록된 바 아브라함이 두 아들이 있으니 하나는 계집종에게서 하나는 자유하는 여자에게서 났다 하였으나 [23] 계집종에게서는 육체를 따라 났고 자유하는 여자에게서는 약속으로 말미암았느니라 [24] 이것은 비유니 이 여자들은 두 언약이라 하나는 시내 산으로부터 종을 낳은 자니 곧 하가라 [25] 이 하가는 아라비아에 있는 시내 산으로 지금 있는 예루살렘과 같은 데니 저가 그 자녀들로 더불어 종 노릇 하고 [26] 오직 위에 있는 예루살렘은 자유자니 곧 우리 어머니라 [27] 기록된 바 잉태치 못한 자여 즐거워하라 구로치 못한 자여 소리 질러 외치라 이는 홀로 사는 자의 자녀가 남편 있는 자의 자녀보다 많음이라 하였으니 [28] 형제들아 너희는 이삭과 같이 약속의 자녀라 [29] 그러나 그 때에 육체를 따라 난 자가 성령을 따라 난 자를 핍박한 것 같이 이제도 그러하도다 [30] 그러나 성경이 무엇을 말하느뇨 계집종과 그 아들을 내어 쫓으라 계집종의 아들이 자유하는 여자의 아들로 더불어 유업을 얻지 못하리라 하였느니라 [31] 그런즉 형제들아 우리는 계집종의 자녀가 아니요 자유하는 여자의 자녀니라
(갈 4:22-31, NKJV) [22] For it is written that Abraham had two sons： the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. [23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, [24] which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants： the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar-- [25] for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children-- [26] but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. [27] For it is written： "Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband." [28] Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. [29] But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. [30] Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." [31] So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
(6) 오직 믿음으로
(갈 3:16-29, 개역) [16] 이 약속들은 아브라함과 그 자손에게 말씀하신 것인데 여럿을 가리켜 그 자손들이라 하지 아니하시고 오직 하나를 가리켜 네 자손이라 하셨으니 곧 그리스도라 [17] 내가 이것을 말하노니 하나님의 미리 정하신 언약을 사백삼십 년 후에 생긴 율법이 없이 하지 못하여 그 약속을 헛되게 하지 못하리라 [18] 만일 그 유업이 율법에서 난 것이면 약속에서 난 것이 아니리라 그러나 하나님이 약속으로 말미암아 아브라함에게 은혜로 주신 것이라 [19] 그런즉 율법은 무엇이냐 범법함을 인하여 더한 것이라 천사들로 말미암아 중보의 손을 빌어 베푸신 것인데 약속하신 자손이 오시기까지 있을 것이라 [20] 중보는 한 편만 위한 자가 아니니 오직 하나님은 하나이시니라 [21] 그러면 율법이 하나님의 약속들을 거스리느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라 만일 능히 살게 하는 율법을 주셨더면 의가 반드시 율법으로 말미암았으리라 [22] 그러나 성경이 모든 것을 죄 아래 가두었으니 이는 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암은 약속을 믿는 자들에게 주려 함이니라 [23] 믿음이 오기 전에 우리가 율법 아래 매인 바 되고 계시될 믿음의 때까지 갇혔느니라 [24] 이같이 율법이 우리를 그리스도에게로 인도하는 몽학선생이 되어 우리로 하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 의롭다 함을 얻게 하려 함이니라 [25] 믿음이 온 후로는 우리가 몽학선생 아래 있지 아니하도다 [26] 너희가 다 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 아들이 되었으니 [27] 누구든지 그리스도와 합하여 세례를 받은 자는 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라 [28] 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자주자나 남자나 여자 없이 다 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이니라 [29] 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라
(갈 3:16-29, NKJV) [16] Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. [17] And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. [18] For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise. [19] What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. [20] Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. [21] Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. [22] But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. [23] But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. [24] Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. [26] For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(7) 참 아브라함의 자손
(요 8:37-40, 개역) [37] 나도 너희가 아브라함의 자손인 줄 아노라 그러나 내 말이 너희 속에 있을 곳이 없으므로 나를 죽이려 하는도다 [38] 나는 내 아버지에게서 본 것을 말하고 너희는 너희 아비에게서 들은 것을 행하느니라 [39] 대답하여 가로되 우리 아버지는 아브라함이라 하니 예수께서 가라사대 너희가 아브라함의 자손이면 아브라함의 행사를 할 것이어늘 [40] 지금 하나님께 들은 진리를 너희에게 말한 사람인 나를 죽이려 하는도다 아브라함은 이렇게 하지 아니하였느니라
(요 8:37-40, NKJV) [37] "I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. [38] "I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father." [39] They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. [40] "But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.
(요 8:44, 개역) 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라
(Jn 8:44, NKJV) "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(8) 진정한 할례
(빌 3:3, 개역) 하나님의 성령으로 봉사하며 그리스도 예수로 자랑하고 육체를 신뢰하지 아니하는 우리가 곧 할례당이라
(Php 3:3, NKJV) For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,
(9) 하나님께로 난 자들.
(요 1:12-13, 개역) [12] 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 [13] 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로서 난 자들이니라
(요 1:12-13, NKJV) [12] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name： [13] who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
(10) 하나님의 말씀은 폐하여지지 않는다.
(신 18:15, 개역) 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 중 네 형제 중에서 나와 같은 선지자 하나를 너를 위하여 일으키시리니 너희는 그를 들을지니라
(Dt 18:15, NKJV) "The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear,
(사 53:5-6, 개역) [5] 그가 찔림은 우리의 허물을 인함이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악을 인함이라 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리고 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 우리가 나음을 입었도다 [6] 우리는 다 양 같아서 그릇 행하여 각기 제 길로 갔거늘 여호와께서는 우리 무리의 죄악을 그에게 담당시키셨도다
(사 53:5-6, NKJV) [5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

7. 택하심을 따라 되는 하나님의 뜻
(1) 야곱과 에서
(창 25:21-26, 개역) [21] 이삭이 그 아내가 잉태하지 못하므로 그를 위하여 여호와께 간구하매 여호와께서 그 간구를 들으셨으므로 그 아내 리브가가 잉태하였더니 [22] 아이들이 그의 태 속에서 서로 싸우는지라 그가 가로되 이같으면 내가 어찌할꼬 하고 가서 여호와께 묻자온대 [23] 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 두 국민이 네 태중에 있구나 두 민족이 네 복중에서부터 나누이리라 이 족속이 저 족속보다 강하겠고 큰 자는 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨더라 [24] 그 해산 기한이 찬즉 태에 쌍동이가 있었는데 [25] 먼저 나온 자는 붉고 전신이 갖옷 같아서 이름을 에서라 하였고 [26] 후에 나온 아우는 손으로 에서의 발꿈치를 잡았으므로 그 이름을 야곱이라 하였으며 리브가가 그들을 낳을 때에 이삭이 육십 세이었더라
(창 25:21-26, NKJV) [21] Now Isaac pleaded with the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived. [22] But the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If all is well, why am I like this?" So she went to inquire of the LORD. [23] And the LORD said to her： "Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger." [24] So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. [25] And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau. [26] Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau's heel; so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
(2) 하나님께로 난 자들
(요 1:12-13, 개역) [12] 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 [13] 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로서 난 자들이니라

(3) 긍휼하심으로
(딛 3:5, 개역) 우리를 구원하시되 우리의 행한 바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고 오직 그의 긍휼하심을 좇아 중생의 씻음과 성령의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨나니
(Ti 3:5, NKJV) not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
(4) 행위에서 난 것이 아님
(엡 2:8-9, 개역) [8] 너희가 그 은혜를 인하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 얻었나니 이것이 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이라 [9] 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이는 누구든지 자랑치 못하게 함이니라
(엡 2:8-9, NKJV) [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, [9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(5) 믿음으로 하나님의 아들이 됨
(갈 3:26-29, 개역) [26] 너희가 다 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 아들이 되었으니 [27] 누구든지 그리스도와 합하여 세례를 받은 자는 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라 [28] 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자주자나 남자나 여자 없이 다 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이니라 [29] 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라

[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (6) 큰자가 어린자를 섬기리라.
(창 25:23, 개역) 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 두 국민이 네 태중에 있구나 두 민족이 네 복중에서부터 나누이리라 이 족속이 저 족속보다 강하겠고 큰 자는 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨더라
(Gn 25:23, NKJV) And the LORD said to her： "Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger."
(7) 어떻게 사랑하셨나이까?
(말 1:2-3, 개역) [2] 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 너희를 사랑하였노라 하나 너희는 이르기를 주께서 어떻게 우리를 사랑하셨나이까 하는도다 나 여호와가 말하노라 에서는 야곱의 형이 아니냐 그러나 내가 야곱을 사랑하였고 [3] 에서는 미워하였으며 그의 산들을 황무케 하였고 그의 산업을 광야의 시랑에게 붙였느니라
(말 1:2-3, NKJV) [2] "I have loved you," says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'In what way have You loved us?' Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" Says the LORD. "Yet Jacob I have loved; [3] But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his heritage For the jackals of the wilderness."
(8) 택하시고 예정하심
(엡 1:3-6, 개역) [3] 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리에게 복 주시되 [4] 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 [5] 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 [6] 이는 그의 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬미하게 하려는 것이라
(엡 1:3-6, NKJV) [3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [5] having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [6] to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.
(9) 택하심을 따라 남은 자들
(롬 11:5-7, 개역) [5] 그런즉 이와 같이 이제도 은혜로 택하심을 따라 남은 자가 있느니라 [6] 만일 은혜로 된 것이면 행위로 말미암지 않음이니 그렇지 않으면 은혜가 은혜 되지 못하느니라 [7] 그런즉 어떠하뇨 이스라엘이 구하는 그것을 얻지 못하고 오직 택하심을 입은 자가 얻었고 그 남은 자들은 완악하여졌느니라
(롬 11:5-7, NKJV) [5] Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. [6] And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. [7] What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
(10) 미리 정하심
(롬 8:28-30, 개역) [28] 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라 [29] 하나님이 미리 아신 자들로 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라 [30] 또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라
(롬 8:28-30, NKJV) [28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. [29] For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
(11) 처음부터 종말을 고하신 하나님
(사 46:10-11, 개역) [10] 내가 종말을 처음부터 고하며 아직 이루지 아니한 일을 옛적부터 보이고 이르기를 나의 모략이 설 것이니 내가 나의 모든 기뻐하는 것을 이루리라 하였노라 [11] 내가 동방에서 독수리를 부르며 먼 나라에서 나의 모략을 이룰 사람을 부를 것이라 내가 말하였은즉 정녕 이룰 것이요 경영하였은즉 정녕 행하리라
(사 46:10-11, NKJV) [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,' [11] Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.
(12) 하나님의 절대 주권.
(대상 29:11-13, 개역) [11] 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다 [12] 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다 [13] 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다
(대상 29:11-13, NKJV) [11] Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. [12] Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. [13] "Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.
사랑하는 성도 여러분,
이스라엘이 예수님을 믿지 않는 사실을 가슴아파했듯이 나는 내 주위에 구원받지 못한 자들을 인하여 가슴 아파하고 있습니까?
예수님의 눈물을 기억하십니까?
나는 이스라엘을 어떻게 생각하십니까?
하나님이 아주 버리셨을까요?
이스라엘은 하나님의 특별한 섭리아래 있습니다.
많은 사랑을 받은 이스라엘입니다.
그러나 자신의 의를 의지하였고 메시야를 알아 보지 못하였고 십자가에 못밖았습니다.
구약에 이스라엘에게 하신 약속의 말씀들을 예수님 안에서 성취되게 하신 것입니다.
우리는 예수님을 잘 알아야 합니다.
가장 높으신 분이시오 찬양과 경배를 받으시기에 합당하십니다.
구약의 언약의 말씀들은 폐하여 질수가 없습니다.
마지막에 이스라엘을 회복 시키실 것입니다.
모든 아브라함의 자손이 택함을 받은 것이 아닙니다.
모든 이삭의 자손과 야곱의 자손이 구원얻고 택함을 받는 것이 아닙니다.
육신의 자녀가 아니라 약속의 자녀들만 참 이스라엘입니다.
회개하고 십자가에 달리신 예수님을 믿는 우리들이 참 이스라엘입니다.
택하시고 구원하시는 것은 전적인 하나님의 주권입니다.
오늘도, 예수님을 믿지 않는 자들을 정죄하기 보다는 긍휼히 여기고 하나님의 긍휼하심을 힘입어 구원해달라고 기도하며 더욱 전도와 선교에 힘쓰는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
