<하나님의 종이냐 죄의 종이냐>
(롬 6:15-23, 개역) [15] 그런즉 어찌하리요 우리가 법 아래 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래 있으니 죄를 지으리요 그럴 수 없느니라 [16] 너희 자신을 종으로 드려 누구에게 순종하든지 그 순종함을 받는 자의 종이 되는 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 혹은 죄의 종으로 사망에 이르고 혹은 순종의 종으로 의에 이르느니라 [17] 하나님께 감사하리로다 너희가 본래 죄의 종이더니 너희에게 전하여 준 바 교훈의 본을 마음으로 순종하여 [18] 죄에게서 해방되어 의에게 종이 되었느니라 [19] 너희 육신이 연약하므로 내가 사람의 예대로 말하노니 전에 너희가 너희 지체를 부정과 불법에 드려 불법에 이른 것 같이 이제는 너희 지체를 의에게 종으로 드려 거룩함에 이르라 [20] 너희가 죄의 종이 되었을 때에는 의에 대하여 자유하였느니라 [21] 너희가 그 때에 무슨 열매를 얻었느뇨 이제는 너희가 그 일을 부끄러워하나니 이는 그 마지막이 사망임이니라 [22] 그러나 이제는 너희가 죄에게서 해방되고 하나님께 종이 되어 거룩함에 이르는 열매를 얻었으니 이 마지막은 영생이라 [23] 죄의 삯은 사망이요 하나님의 은사는 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 영생이니라
(롬 6:15-23, NKJV) [15] What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! [16] Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? [17] But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. [18] And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. [19] I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. [20] For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. [21] What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. [22] But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. [23] For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
오늘 본문은 이제 죄의 종으로 살것인가 하나님의 종으로 살것인가를 결정하라는 메시지를 우리에게 주고 있습니다.
먼저 마음으로 복음을 믿어 의의 종이 되었으니 감사하라고 말씀합니다. 이전에 종이 되어 살던 방식을 버리고 이제는 하나님의 종 이요 의의 종이 되어 살아야 합니다. 이전의 일들을 우리가 생각할때에 너무나 부끄럽습니다. 이제는 결단하고 하나님을 위하여 남은 삶을 살아야 합니다.
이전에 죄의 종이 되었을 때는 아무것도 모르고 죄에게 이끌려 자신의 정욕을 따라 그리고 마귀의 종이 되어 살았던 것입니다. 그 결과는 사망이었습니다. 지옥입니다. 너무나도 창피하고 정말 끔찍한 일입니다.
그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 우리를 예수그리스도 안에서 용서하시고 영원한 생명을 주셨습니다. 너무나 큰 사랑이요 은혜요 축복입니다.
우리는 예수님 안에서 세례를 받아서 옛사람이 장사지낸바 되었습니다. 이제는 남은 삶을 주님을 위하여 살아야 합니다.
하나님의 종이 되었다고 해서 무슨 자유가 없고 울법적으로 의무로 하나님을 섬기는 차원이 아님을 알아야 합니다. 우리는 하나님을 사랑하게 되었기에 사랑의 종이 된것이요 주님을 섬기는 것이 최고의 가치가 된것이며 행복이요 기쁨이 된것입니다.
예수님을 믿고 예수님을 사랑하고 예수님을 위하여 사는 것 보다 더 큰 축복과 행복과 보람있는 일은 이 세상에 없습니다.
오늘 말씀을 통하여 더욱 큰 확신에 이르러 주님을 사랑하고 주님을 위하여 남은 삶을 충성을 다하는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 축원합니다.
1. 순종받는 자의 종.
(1) 아담의 불순종
(창 3:1-7, 개역) [1] 여호와 하나님의 지으신 들짐승 중에 뱀이 가장 간교하더라 뱀이 여자에게 물어 가로되 하나님이 참으로 너희더러 동산 모든 나무의 실과를 먹지 말라 하시더냐 [2] 여자가 뱀에게 말하되 동산 나무의 실과를 우리가 먹을 수 있으나 [3] 동산 중앙에 있는 나무의 실과는 하나님의 말씀에 너희는 먹지도 말고 만지지도 말라 너희가 죽을까 하노라 하셨느니라 [4] 뱀이 여자에게 이르되 너희가 결코 죽지 아니하리라 [5] 너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄을 하나님이 아심이니라 [6] 여자가 그 나무를 본즉 먹음직도 하고 보암직도 하고 지혜롭게 할 만큼 탐스럽기도 한 나무인지라 여자가 그 실과를 따먹고 자기와 함께한 남편에게도 주매 그도 먹은지라 [7] 이에 그들의 눈이 밝아 자기들의 몸이 벗은 줄을 알고 무화과 나무 잎을 엮어 치마를 하였더라
(창 3:1-7, NKJV) [1] Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" [2] And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; [3] "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" [4] Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. [5] "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." [6] So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. [7] Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
(2) 사울의 불순종
(삼상 15:21-23, 개역) [21] 다만 백성이 그 마땅히 멸할 것 중에서 가장 좋은 것으로 길갈에서 당신의 하나님 여호와께 제사하려고 양과 소를 취하였나이다 [22] 사무엘이 가로되 여호와께서 번제와 다른 제사를 그 목소리 순종하는 것을 좋아하심 같이 좋아하시겠나이까 순종이 제사보다 낫고 듣는 것이 수양의 기름보다 나으니 [23] 이는 거역하는 것은 사술의 죄와 같고 완고한 것은 사신 우상에게 절하는 죄와 같음이라 왕이 여호와의 말씀을 버렸으므로 여호와께서도 왕을 버려 왕이 되지 못하게 하셨나이다
(삼상 15:21-23, NKJV) [21] "But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal." [22] Then Samuel said： "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. [23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king."
(3) 말씀에 의지하여.
(눅 5:5-8, 개역) [5] 시몬이 대답하여 가로되 선생이여 우리들이 밤이 맞도록 수고를 하였으되 얻은 것이 없지마는 말씀에 의지하여 내가 그물을 내리리이다 하고 [6] 그리한즉 고기를 에운 것이 심히 많아 그물이 찢어지는지라 [7] 이에 다른 배에 있는 동무를 손짓하여 와서 도와 달라 하니 저희가 와서 두 배에 채우매 잠기게 되었더라 [8] 시몬 베드로가 이를 보고 예수의 무릎 아래 엎드려 가로되 주여 나를 떠나소서 나는 죄인이로소이다 하니
(눅 5:5-8, NKJV) [5] But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." [6] And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. [7] So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. [8] When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!"
(4) 복음에 순종 하라.
(행 5:32, 개역) 우리는 이 일에 증인이요 하나님이 자기를 순종하는 사람들에게 주신 성령도 그러하니라 하더라
(Ac 5:32, NKJV) "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
(5) 예수님의 순종
(빌 2:5-11, 개역) [5] 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 [6] 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고 [7] 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고 [8] 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라 [9] 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 [10] 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 [11] 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
(빌 2:5-11, NKJV) [5] Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, [6] who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, [7] but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. [9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(6) 마귀의 종이 됨
(계 12:9, 개역) 큰 용이 내어 쫓기니 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사단이라고도 하는 온 천하를 꾀는 자라 땅으로 내어 쫓기니 그의 사자들도 저와 함께 내어 쫓기니라
(Rv 12:9, NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
(요 8:44, 개역) 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라
(Jn 8:44, NKJV) "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(엡 2:1-3, 개역) [1] 너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다 [2] 그 때에 너희가 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍속을 좇고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라 [3] 전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음의 원하는 것을 하여 다른 이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니
(엡 2:1-3, NKJV) [1] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, [2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, [3] among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
(요일 5:18-20, 개역) [18] 하나님께로서 난 자마다 범죄치 아니하는 줄을 우리가 아노라 하나님께로서 나신 자가 저를 지키시매 악한 자가 저를 만지지도 못하느니라 [19] 또 아는 것은 우리는 하나님께 속하고 온 세상은 악한 자 안에 처한 것이며 [20] 또 아는 것은 하나님의 아들이 이르러 우리에게 지각을 주사 우리로 참된 자를 알게 하신 것과 또한 우리가 참된 자 곧 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 것이니 그는 참 하나님이시요 영생이시라
(요일 5:18-20, NKJV) [18] We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. [19] We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. [20] And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
(요일 3:8-10, 개역) [8] 죄를 짓는 자는 마귀에게 속하나니 마귀는 처음부터 범죄함이니라 하나님의 아들이 나타나신 것은 마귀의 일을 멸하려 하심이니라 [9] 하나님께로서 난 자마다 죄를 짓지 아니하나니 이는 하나님의 씨가 그의 속에 거함이요 저도 범죄치 못하는 것은 하나님께로서 났음이라 [10] 이러므로 하나님의 자녀들과 마귀의 자녀들이 나타나나니 무릇 의를 행치 아니하는 자나 또는 그 형제를 사랑치 아니하는 자는 하나님께 속하지 아니하니라
(요일 3:8-10, NKJV) [8] He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. [10] In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest： Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
(7) 죄의 종이 됨.
(롬 6:20, 개역) 너희가 죄의 종이 되었을 때에는 의에 대하여 자유하였느니라
(Rm 6:20, NKJV) For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
(롬 7:19-21, 개역) [19] 내가 원하는 바 선은 하지 아니하고 도리어 원치 아니하는 바 악은 행하는도다 [20] 만일 내가 원치 아니하는 그것을 하면 이를 행하는 자가 내가 아니요 내 속에 거하는 죄니라 [21] 그러므로 내가 한 법을 깨달았노니 곧 선을 행하기 원하는 나에게 악이 함께 있는 것이로다
(롬 7:19-21, NKJV) [19] For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. [20] Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. [21] I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.
(8) 우리 주님께 순종하자.
(눅 9:23, 개역) 또 무리에게 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 날마다 제 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라
(Lk 9:23, NKJV) Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
(요 21:15, 개역) 저희가 조반 먹은 후에 예수께서 시몬 베드로에게 이르시되 요한의 아들 시몬아 네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐 하시니 가로되 주여 그러하외다 내가 주를 사랑하는 줄 주께서 아시나이다 가라사대 내 어린 양을 먹이라 하시고
(Jn 21:15, NKJV) So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
(계 2:10, 개역) 네가 장차 받을 고난을 두려워 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데서 몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가 죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 면류관을 네게 주리라
(Rv 2:10, NKJV) "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
(9) 순종의 축복.
(신 28:1-7, 개역) [1] 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 삼가 듣고 내가 오늘날 네게 명하는 그 모든 명령을 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 세계 모든 민족 위에 뛰어나게 하실 것이라 [2] 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종하면 이 모든 복이 네게 임하며 네게 미치리니 [3] 성읍에서도 복을 받고 들에서도 복을 받을 것이며 [4] 네 몸의 소생과 네 토지의 소산과 네 짐승의 새끼와 우양의 새끼가 복을 받을 것이며 [5] 네 광주리와 떡반죽 그릇이 복을 받을 것이며 [6] 네가 들어와도 복을 받고 나가도 복을 받을 것이니라 [7] 네 대적들이 일어나 너를 치려하면 여호와께서 그들을 네 앞에서 패하게 하시리니 그들이 한 길로 너를 치러 들어왔으나 네 앞에서 일곱 길로 도망하리라
(신 28:1-7, NKJV) [1] "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. [2] "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God： [3] "Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. [4] "Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. [5] "Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. [6] "Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. [7] "The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
(시 128:1-3, 개역) [1] [성전에 올라가는 노래] 여호와를 경외하며 그 도에 행하는 자마다 복이 있도다 [2] 네가 네 손이 수고한 대로 먹을 것이라 네가 복되고 형통하리로다 [3] 네 집 내실에 있는 네 아내는 결실한 포도나무 같으며 네 상에 둘린 자식은 어린 감람나무 같으리로다
(시 128:1-3, NKJV) [1] A Song of Ascents. Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. [2] When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. [3] Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table.
(10) 음성을 듣고 순종하자.
(요 10:27-30, 개역) [27] 내 양은 내 음성을 들으며 나는 저희를 알며 저희는 나를 따르느니라 [28] 내가 저희에게 영생을 주노니 영원히 멸망치 아니할 터이요 또 저희를 내 손에서 빼앗을 자가 없느니라 [29] 저희를 주신 내 아버지는 만유보다 크시매 아무도 아버지 손에서 빼앗을 수 없느니라 [30] 나와 아버지는 하나이니라 하신대
(요 10:27-30, NKJV) [27] "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. [28] "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. [29] "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. [30] "I and My Father are one."
2. 죄에서 해방되어 의의 종이 됨.
(1) 죄를 인격화.
(롬 7:19-20, 개역) [19] 내가 원하는 바 선은 하지 아니하고 도리어 원치 아니하는 바 악은 행하는도다 [20] 만일 내가 원치 아니하는 그것을 하면 이를 행하는 자가 내가 아니요 내 속에 거하는 죄니라
(롬 7:19-20, NKJV) [19] For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. [20] Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
(약 1:15, 개역) 욕심이 잉태한즉 죄를 낳고 죄가 장성한즉 사망을 낳느니라
(Jms 1:15, NKJV) Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
(2) 죄를 짖지 않을수 없는 종.
(롬 6:20, 개역) 너희가 죄의 종이 되었을 때에는 의에 대하여 자유하였느니라
(Rm 6:20, NKJV) For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
(롬 5:21, 개역) 이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕 노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이니라
(Rm 5:21, NKJV) so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(3) 죄 가운데 살수 없는 의의 종.
(롬 6:22, 개역) 그러나 이제는 너희가 죄에게서 해방되고 하나님께 종이 되어 거룩함에 이르는 열매를 얻었으니 이 마지막은 영생이라
(Rm 6:22, NKJV) But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
(롬 6:18, 개역) 죄에게서 해방되어 의에게 종이 되었느니라
(Rm 6:18, NKJV) And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
(4) 의로우신 하나님
(잠 21:12, 개역) 의로우신 자는 악인의 집을 감찰하시고 악인을 환난에 던지시느니라
(Pr 21:12, NKJV) The righteous God wisely considers the house of the wicked, Overthrowing the wicked for their wickedness.
(롬 2:5, 개역) 다만 네 고집과 회개치 아니한 마음을 따라 진노의 날 곧 하나님의 의로우신 판단이 나타나는 그 날에 임할 진노를 네게 쌓는도다
(Rm 2:5, NKJV) But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
(요일 2:1-2, 개역) [1] 나의 자녀들아 내가 이것을 너희에게 씀은 너희로 죄를 범치 않게 하려 함이라 만일 누가 죄를 범하면 아버지 앞에서 우리에게 대언자가 있으니 곧 의로우신 예수 그리스도시라 [2] 저는 우리 죄를 위한 화목 제물이니 우리만 위할 뿐 아니요 온 세상의 죄를 위하심이라
(요일 2:1-2, NKJV) [1] My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. [2] And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
(딤후 4:7-8, 개역) [7] 내가 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니 [8] 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이니 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게니라
(딤후 4:7-8, NKJV) [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
(5) 값없이 의롭다함을 얻음.
(롬 3:23-24, 개역) [23] 모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니 [24] 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구속으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었느니라

(7) 양심의 책망.
(요일 3:20-22, 개역) [20] 우리 마음이 혹 우리를 책망할 일이 있거든 하물며 우리 마음보다 크시고 모든 것을 아시는 하나님일까 보냐 [21] 사랑하는 자들아 만일 우리 마음이 우리를 책망할 것이 없으면 하나님 앞에서 담대함을 얻고 [22] 무엇이든지 구하는 바를 그에게 받나니 이는 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키고 그 앞에서 기뻐하시는 것을 행함이라
(요일 3:20-22, NKJV) [20] For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. [21] Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. [22] And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
(8) 바르게 살아야 함
(딤후 4:1-5, 개역) [1] 하나님 앞과 산 자와 죽은 자를 심판하실 그리스도 예수 앞에서 그의 나타나실 것과 그의 나라를 두고 엄히 명하노니 [2] 너는 말씀을 전파하라 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 힘쓰라 범사에 오래 참음과 가르침으로 경책하며 경계하며 권하라 [3] 때가 이르리니 사람이 바른 교훈을 받지 아니하며 귀가 가려워서 자기의 사욕을 좇을 스승을 많이 두고 [4] 또 그 귀를 진리에서 돌이켜 허탄한 이야기를 좇으리라 [5] 그러나 너는 모든 일에 근신하여 고난을 받으며 전도인의 일을 하며 네 직무를 다하라
(딤후 4:1-5, NKJV) [1] I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom： [2] Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. (9) 예수그리스도의 종
(롬 1:1-3, 개역) [1] 예수 그리스도의 종 바울은 사도로 부르심을 받아 하나님의 복음을 위하여 택정함을 입었으니 [2] 이 복음은 하나님이 선지자들로 말미암아 그의 아들에 관하여 성경에 미리 약속하신 것이라 [3] 이 아들로 말하면 육신으로는 다윗의 혈통에서 나셨고

(10) 무거운 것이 아니다.
(마 11:28-30, 개역) [28] 수고하고 무거운 짐진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라 [29] 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그러면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니 [30] 이는 내 멍에는 쉽고 내 짐은 가벼움이라 하시니라
(마 11:28-30, NKJV) [28] "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
3. 하나님께 감사하리로다.
(1) 대신 죽으신 구속하신 사랑
(딤전 1:12-14, 개역) [12] 나를 능하게 하신 그리스도 예수 우리 주께 내가 감사함은 나를 충성되이 여겨 내게 직분을 맡기심이니 [13] 내가 전에는 훼방자요 핍박자요 포행자이었으나 도리어 긍휼을 입은 것은 내가 믿지 아니할 때에 알지 못하고 행하였음이라 [14] 우리 주의 은혜가 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑과 함께 넘치도록 풍성하였도다
(딤전 1:12-14, NKJV) [12] And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, [13] although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. (2) 진노의 자녀에서 화평으로.

(3) 마귀의 자녀에서 하나님의 자녀로.

(4) 천국 주심.
(계 21:1-4, 개역) [1] 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 [2] 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 예비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 [3] 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 가로되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 저희와 함께 거하시리니 저희는 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 저희와 함께 계셔서 [4] 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 씻기시매 다시 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라

[15] But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
(5) 기도응답.
(요 15:7, 개역) 너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라
(Jn 15:7, NKJV) "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
(마 7:7-8, 개역) [7] 구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라 그러면 찾을 것이요 문을 두드리라 그러면 너희에게 열릴 것이니 [8] 구하는 이마다 얻을 것이요 찾는 이가 찾을 것이요 두드리는 이에게 열릴 것이니라

(6) 사랑하심.
(롬 8:38-39, 개역) [38] 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 [39] 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 아무 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라
(롬 8:38-39, NKJV) [38] For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, [39] nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(7) 보호하심.
(벧전 1:5-7, 개역) [5] 너희가 말세에 나타내기로 예비하신 구원을 얻기 위하여 믿음으로 말미암아 하나님의 능력으로 보호하심을 입었나니 [6] 그러므로 너희가 이제 여러 가지 시험을 인하여 잠간 근심하게 되지 않을 수 없었으나 오히려 크게 기뻐하도다 [7] 너희 믿음의 시련이 불로 연단하여도 없어질 금보다 더 귀하여 예수 그리스도의 나타나실 때에 칭찬과 영광과 존귀를 얻게 하려 함이라
(벧전 1:5-7, NKJV) [5] who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (8) 부활생명.

(롬 8:9-11, NKJV) [9] But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. (9) 은사를 주심.
(고전 12:7-11, 개역) [7] 각 사람에게 성령의 나타남을 주심은 유익하게 하려 하심이라 [8] 어떤 이에게는 성령으로 말미암아 지혜의 말씀을, 어떤 이에게는 같은 성령을 따라 지식의 말씀을, [9] 다른 이에게는 같은 성령으로 믿음을, 어떤 이에게는 한 성령으로 병 고치는 은사를, [10] 어떤 이에게는 능력 행함을, 어떤 이에게는 예언함을, 어떤 이에게는 영들 분별함을, 다른 이에게는 각종 방언 말함을, 어떤 이에게는 방언들 통역함을 주시나니 [11] 이 모든 일은 같은 한 성령이 행하사 그 뜻대로 각 사람에게 나눠 주시느니라
(고전 12:7-11, NKJV) [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all： [8] for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. (10) 합력하여 선이 되게하심.
(롬 8:28, 개역) 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라
(Rm 8:28, NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
(11) 은혜로 인도하심.
(시 23:1-6, 개역) [1] [다윗의 시] 여호와는 나의 목자시니 내가 부족함이 없으리로다 [2] 그가 나를 푸른 초장에 누이시며 쉴만한 물 가으로 인도하시는도다 [3] 내 영혼을 소생시키시고 자기 이름을 위하여 의의 길로 인도하시는도다 [4] 내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다 [5] 주께서 내 원수의 목전에서 내게 상을 베푸시고 기름으로 내 머리에 바르셨으니 내 잔이 넘치나이다 [6] 나의 평생에 선하심과 인자하심이 정녕 나를 따르리니 내가 여호와의 집에 영원히 거하리로다

4. 지체를 드려 거룩함에 이르라.
(1) 새 생활
(엡 4:22-24, 개역) [22] 너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 좇는 옛 사람을 벗어버리고 [23] 오직 심령으로 새롭게 되어 [24] 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라
(엡 4:22-24, NKJV) [22] that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, [24] and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
(2) 예수님으로 살아감.
(빌 1:18-21, 개역) [18] 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라 [19] 이것이 너희 간구와 예수 그리스도의 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할 줄 아는 고로 [20] 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니 [21] 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라

[3] I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
(4) 기도로 살아감
(미 7:7, 개역) 오직 나는 여호와를 우러러보며 나를 구원하시는 하나님을 바라보나니 하나님이 나를 들으시리로다
(Mc 7:7, NKJV) Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
(엡 6:18, 개역) 모든 기도와 간구로 하되 무시로 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하고
(Eph 6:18, NKJV) praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--
(5) 믿음으로 살아감.
(롬 1:16-17, 개역) [16] 내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게로다 [17] 복음에는 하나님의 의가 나타나서 믿음으로 믿음에 이르게 하나니 기록된 바 오직 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라 함과 같으니라
(롬 1:16-17, NKJV) [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. [17] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
(히 11:1-6, 개역) [1] 믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보지 못하는 것들의 증거니 [2] 선진들이 이로써 증거를 얻었느니라 [3] 믿음으로 모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가 아나니 보이는 것은 나타난 것으로 말미암아 된 것이 아니니라 [4] 믿음으로 아벨은 가인보다 더 나은 제사를 하나님께 드림으로 의로운 자라 하시는 증거를 얻었으니 하나님이 그 예물에 대하여 증거하심이라 저가 죽었으나 그 믿음으로써 오히려 말하느니라 [5] 믿음으로 에녹은 죽음을 보지 않고 옮기웠으니 하나님이 저를 옮기심으로 다시 보이지 아니하니라 저는 옮기우기 전에 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 자라 하는 증거를 받았느니라 [6] 믿음이 없이는 기쁘시게 못하나니 하나님께 나아가는 자는 반드시 그가 계신 것과 또한 그가 자기를 찾는 자들에게 상 주시는 이심을 믿어야 할지니라
(히 11:1-6, NKJV) [1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. [3] By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. [4] By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. [5] By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. [6] But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(6) 영광에서 영광으로.
(고후 3:12-18, 개역) [12] 우리가 이같은 소망이 있으므로 담대히 말하노니 [13] 우리는 모세가 이스라엘 자손들로 장차 없어질 것의 결국을 주목치 못하게 하려고 수건을 그 얼굴에 쓴 것 같이 아니하노라 [14] 그러나 저희 마음이 완고하여 오늘까지라도 구약을 읽을 때에 그 수건이 오히려 벗어지지 아니하고 있으니 그 수건은 그리스도 안에서 없어질 것이라 [15] 오늘까지 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 수건이 오히려 그 마음을 덮었도다 [16] 그러나 언제든지 주께로 돌아가면 그 수건이 벗어지리라 [17] 주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유함이 있느니라 [18] 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 저와 같은 형상으로 화하여 영광으로 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라
(고후 3:12-18, NKJV) [12] Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech-- [13] unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. [14] But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. [15] But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. [16] Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. [17] Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. [18] But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(7) 예수를 바라보자
(히 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며 [2] 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 [3] 너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라
(히 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
(8) 성령을 따라 살자.
(갈 5:16-18, 개역) [16] 내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 좇아 행하라 그리하면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라 [17] 육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스리고 성령의 소욕은 육체를 거스리나니 이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라 [18] 너희가 만일 성령의 인도하시는 바가 되면 율법 아래 있지 아니하리라
(갈 5:16-18, NKJV) [16] I say then： Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. [17] For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. [18] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
(9) 징계의 유익.
(히 12:7-13, 개역) [7] 너희가 참음은 징계를 받기 위함이라 하나님이 아들과 같이 너희를 대우하시나니 어찌 아비가 징계하지 않는 아들이 있으리요 [8] 징계는 다 받는 것이거늘 너희에게 없으면 사생자요 참 아들이 아니니라 [9] 또 우리 육체의 아버지가 우리를 징계하여도 공경하였거늘 하물며 모든 영의 아버지께 더욱 복종하여 살려 하지 않겠느냐 [10] 저희는 잠시 자기의 뜻대로 우리를 징계하였거니와 오직 하나님은 우리의 유익을 위하여 그의 거룩하심에 참예케 하시느니라 [11] 무릇 징계가 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로 말미암아 연달한 자에게는 의의 평강한 열매를 맺나니 [12] 그러므로 피곤한 손과 연약한 무릎을 일으켜 세우고 [13] 너희 발을 위하여 곧은 길을 만들어 저는 다리로 하여금 어그러지지 않고 고침을 받게 하라
(히 12:7-13, NKJV) [7] If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? [8] But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. [9] Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? [10] For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. [11] Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. [12] Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, [13] and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

(11) 피
(벧전 1:18-19, 개역) [18] 너희가 알거니와 너희 조상의 유전한 망령된 행실에서 구속된 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질 것으로 한 것이 아니요 [19] 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 한 것이니라
(벧전 1:18-19, NKJV) [18] knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
(요일 1:7-9, 개역) [7] 저가 빛 가운데 계신 것 같이 우리도 빛 가운데 행하면 우리가 서로 사귐이 있고 그 아들 예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요 [8] 만일 우리가 죄 없다 하면 스스로 속이고 또 진리가 우리 속에 있지 아니할 것이요 [9] 만일 우리가 우리 죄를 자백하면 저는 미쁘시고 의로우사 우리 죄를 사하시며 모든 불의에서 우리를 깨끗케 하실 것이요

(12) 십자가.
(갈 5:24, 개역) 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라
(Gl 5:24, NKJV) And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
(갈 6:14, 개역) 그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여 그러하니라
(Gl 6:14, NKJV) But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
(갈 2:20, 개역) 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라
(Gl 2:20, NKJV) "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
(13) 성령님의 씻음.
(고전 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자나 [10] 도적이나 탐람하는 자나 술취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라 [11] 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 있더니 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 얻었느니라
(고전 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, [10] nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
(14) 말씀의 씻음.
(엡 5:26, 개역) 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고
(Eph 5:26, NKJV) that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
(15) 거룩한 산 제사를 드리라.
(롬 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 [3] 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라
(롬 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
(16) 내가 거룩하니
(벧전 1:13-17, 개역) [13] 그러므로 너희 마음의 허리를 동이고 근신하여 예수 그리스도의 나타나실 때에 너희에게 가져올 은혜를 온전히 바랄지어다 [14] 너희가 순종하는 자식처럼 이전 알지 못할 때에 좇던 너희 사욕을 본 삼지 말고 [15] 오직 너희를 부르신 거룩한 자처럼 너희도 모든 행실에 거룩한 자가 되라 [16] 기록하였으되 내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩할지어다 하셨느니라 [17] 외모로 보시지 않고 각 사람의 행위대로 판단하시는 자를 너희가 아버지라 부른즉 너희의 나그네로 있을 때를 두려움으로 지내라
(벧전 1:13-17, NKJV) [13] Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; [14] as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; [15] but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, [16] because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." 5. 죄의 종 되었을 때를 부끄러워 함.
(1) 회개의 열매
(눅 19:1-10, 개역) [1] 예수께서 여리고로 들어 지나가시더라 [2] 삭개오라 이름하는 자가 있으니 세리장이요 또한 부자라 [3] 저가 예수께서 어떠한 사람인가 하여 보고자 하되 키가 작고 사람이 많아 할 수 없어 [4] 앞으로 달려가 보기 위하여 뽕나무에 올라가니 이는 예수께서 그리로 지나가시게 됨이러라 [5] 예수께서 그 곳에 이르사 우러러 보시고 이르시되 삭개오야 속히 내려오라 내가 오늘 네 집에 유하여야 하겠다 하시니 [6] 급히 내려와 즐거워하며 영접하거늘 [7] 뭇사람이 보고 수군거려 가로되 저가 죄인의 집에 유하러 들어갔도다 하더라 [8] 삭개오가 서서 주께 여짜오되 주여 보시옵소서 내 소유의 절반을 가난한 자들에게 주겠사오며 만일 뉘 것을 토색한 일이 있으면 사 배나 갚겠나이다 [9] 예수께서 이르시되 오늘 구원이 이 집에 이르렀으니 이 사람도 아브라함의 자손임이로다 [10] 인자의 온 것은 잃어버린 자를 찾아 구원하려 함이니라
(눅 19:1-10, NKJV) [1] Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. [2] Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. [3] And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. [4] So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. [5] And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house." [6] So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. [7] But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner." [8] Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold." [9] And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; [10] "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

(마 3:7-12, NKJV) [7] But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? [8] "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, [9] "and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. [10] "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [11] "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. [12] "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
(2) 두 주인을 섬길수 없다.
(마 6:22-24, 개역) [22] 눈은 몸의 등불이니 그러므로 네 눈이 성하면 온 몸이 밝을 것이요 [23] 눈이 나쁘면 온 몸이 어두울 것이니 그러므로 네게 있는 빛이 어두우면 그 어두움이 얼마나 하겠느뇨 [24] 한 사람이 두 주인을 섬기지 못할 것이니 혹 이를 미워하며 저를 사랑하거나 혹 이를 중히 여기며 저를 경히 여김이라 너희가 하나님과 재물을 겸하여 섬기지 못하느니라
(마 6:22-24, NKJV) [22] "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. [23] "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! [24] "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
(3) 헛된 길
(전 1:1-7, 개역) [1] 다윗의 아들 예루살렘 왕 전도자의 말씀이라 [2] 전도자가 가로되 헛되고 헛되며 헛되고 헛되니 모든 것이 헛되도다 [3] 사람이 해 아래서 수고하는 모든 수고가 자기에게 무엇이 유익한고 [4] 한 세대는 가고 한 세대는 오되 땅은 영원히 있도다 [5] 해는 떴다가 지며 그 떴던 곳으로 빨리 돌아가고 [6] 바람은 남으로 불다가 북으로 돌이키며 이리 돌며 저리 돌아 불던 곳으로 돌아가고 [7] 모든 강물은 다 바다로 흐르되 바다를 채우지 못하며 어느 곳으로 흐르든지 그리로 연하여 흐르느니라
(전 1:1-7, NKJV) [1] The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. [2] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." [3] What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? [4] One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever. (4) 사망의 길
(전 12:1-7, 개역) [1] 너는 청년의 때 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해가 가깝기 전에 너의 창조자를 기억하라 [2] 해와 빛과 달과 별들이 어둡기 전에, 비 뒤에 구름이 다시 일어나기 전에 그리하라 [3] 그런 날에는 집을 지키는 자들이 떨 것이며 힘있는 자들이 구부러질 것이며 맷돌질 하는 자들이 적으므로 그칠 것이며 창들로 내어다 보는 자가 어두워질 것이며 [4] 길거리 문들이 닫혀질 것이며 맷돌 소리가 적어질 것이며 새의 소리를 인하여 일어날 것이며 음악하는 여자들은 다 쇠하여질 것이며 [5] 그런 자들은 높은 곳을 두려워할 것이며 길에서는 놀랄 것이며 살구나무가 꽃이 필 것이며 메뚜기도 짐이 될 것이며 원욕이 그치리니 이는 사람이 자기 영원한 집으로 돌아가고 조문자들이 거리로 왕래하게 됨이라 [6] 은줄이 풀리고 금 그릇이 깨어지고 항아리가 샘 곁에서 깨어지고 바퀴가 우물 위에서 깨어지고 [7] 흙은 여전히 땅으로 돌아가고 신은 그 주신 하나님께로 돌아가기 전에 기억하라
(전 12:1-7, NKJV) [1] Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, "I have no pleasure in them"： [2] While the sun and the light, The moon and the stars, Are not darkened, And the clouds do not return after the rain; [3] In the day when the keepers of the house tremble, And the strong men bow down; When the grinders cease because they are few, And those that look through the windows grow dim; [4] When the doors are shut in the streets, And the sound of grinding is low; When one rises up at the sound of a bird, And all the daughters of music are brought low; [5] Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way; When the almond tree blossoms, The grasshopper is a burden, And desire fails. For man goes to his eternal home, And the mourners go about the streets. [6] Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. [7] Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
(5) 지옥의 길

(딤후 3:1-5, NKJV) [1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come： [2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
(13) 계 21장 22 장
(계 21:8, 개역) 그러나 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 행음자들과 술객들과 우상 숭배자들과 모든 거짓말하는 자들은 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 참예하리니 이것이 둘째 사망이라
(Rv 21:8, NKJV) "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
(14) 고전 6
(고전 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자나 [10] 도적이나 탐람하는 자나 술취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라 [11] 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 있더니 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령 안에서 씻음과 거룩함과 의롭다 하심을 얻었느니라
(고전 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, [10] nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 6. 죄의 삯은 사망.
(롬 6:23, 개역) 죄의 삯은 사망이요 하나님의 은사는 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 영생이니라
(Rm 6:23, NKJV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(히 9:27-28, 개역) [27] 한번 죽는 것은 사람에게 정하신 것이요 그 후에는 심판이 있으리니 [28] 이와 같이 그리스도도 많은 사람의 죄를 담당하시려고 단번에 드리신 바 되셨고 구원에 이르게 하기 위하여 죄와 상관 없이 자기를 바라는 자들에게 두 번째 나타나시리라
(히 9:27-28, NKJV) [27] And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, [28] so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
(1) 최후의 심판
(계 20:11-15, 개역) [11] 또 내가 크고 흰 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 자를 보니 땅과 하늘이 그 앞에서 피하여 간 데 없더라 [12] 또 내가 보니 죽은 자들이 무론대소하고 그 보좌 앞에 섰는데 책들이 펴 있고 또 다른 책이 펴졌으니 곧 생명책이라 죽은 자들이 자기 행위를 따라 책들에 기록된 대로 심판을 받으니 [13] 바다가 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주고 또 사망과 음부도 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주매 각 사람이 자기의 행위대로 심판을 받고 [14] 사망과 음부도 불못에 던지우니 이것은 둘째 사망 곧 불못이라 [15] 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던지우더라
(계 20:11-15, NKJV) [11] Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. [13] The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. [14] Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
(2) 생명책
(빌 4:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 나의 사랑하고 사모하는 형제들, 나의 기쁨이요 면류관인 사랑하는 자들아 이와 같이 주 안에 서라 [2] 내가 유오디아를 권하고 순두게를 권하노니 주 안에서 같은 마음을 품으라 [3] 또 참으로 나와 멍에를 같이 한 자, 네게 구하노니 복음에 나와 함께 힘쓰던 저 부녀들을 돕고 또한 글레멘드와 그 위에 나의 동역자들을 도우라 그 이름들이 생명책에 있느니라
(빌 4:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. [2] I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. [3] And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
(3) 거듭남
(요 3:5-6, 개역) [5] 예수께서 대답하시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라 [6] 육으로 난 것은 육이요 성령으로 난 것은 영이니
(요 3:5-6, NKJV) [5] Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. [6] "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(4) 이를 갈며 슬피우는 곳
(마 25:26-30, 개역) [26] 그 주인이 대답하여 가로되 악하고 게으른 종아 나는 심지 않은 데서 거두고 헤치지 않은 데서 모으는 줄로 네가 알았느냐 [27] 그러면 네가 마땅히 내 돈을 취리하는 자들에게나 두었다가 나로 돌아와서 내 본전과 변리를 받게 할 것이니라 하고 [28] 그에게서 그 한 달란트를 빼앗아 열 달란트를 가진 자에게 주어라 [29] 무릇 있는 자는 받아 풍족하게 되고 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라 [30] 이 무익한 종을 바깥 어두운 데로 내어 쫓으라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라 하니라
(마 25:26-30, NKJV) [26] "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. [27] 'So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. [28] 'Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. [29] 'For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. [30] 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
(5) 어두운 곳
(마 8:11-12, 개역) [11] 또 너희에게 이르노니 동서로부터 많은 사람이 이르러 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 함께 천국에 앉으려니와 [12] 나라의 본 자손들은 바깥 어두운 데 쫓겨나 거기서 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라
(마 8:11-12, NKJV) [11] "And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. [12] "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
(6) 마귀, 거짓선지자, 적그리스도.
(계 20:10, 개역) 또 저희를 미혹하는 마귀가 불과 유황 못에 던지우니 거기는 그 짐승과 거짓 선지자도 있어 세세토록 밤낮 괴로움을 받으리라
(Rv 20:10, NKJV) The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
(7) 마귀를 위하여 예비 된곳.
(마 25:41, 개역) 또 왼편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 저주를 받은 자들아 나를 떠나 마귀와 그 사자들을 위하여 예비된 영영한 불에 들어가라
(Mt 25:41, NKJV) "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels：
(8) 불이 꺼지지 않음
(사 66:22-24, 개역) [22] 나 여호와가 말하노라 나의 지을 새 하늘과 새 땅이 내 앞에 항상 있을 것 같이 너희 자손과 너희 이름이 항상 있으리라 [23] 여호와가 말하노라 매 월삭과 매 안식일에 모든 혈육이 이르러 내 앞에 경배하리라 [24] 그들이 나가서 내게 패역한 자들의 시체들을 볼 것이라 그 벌레가 죽지 아니하며 그 불이 꺼지지 아니하여 모든 혈육에게 가증함이 되리라
(사 66:22-24, NKJV) [22] "For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me," says the LORD, "So shall your descendants and your name remain. [23] And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD. [24] "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."
(9) 벌레도 죽지 않음.
(사 66:24, 개역) 그들이 나가서 내게 패역한 자들의 시체들을 볼 것이라 그 벌레가 죽지 아니하며 그 불이 꺼지지 아니하여 모든 혈육에게 가증함이 되리라
(Is 66:24, NKJV) "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."
(10) 세세토록 고난을 받는 곳.
(계 14:9-12, 개역) [9] 또 다른 천사 곧 셋째가 그 뒤를 따라 큰 음성으로 가로되 만일 누구든지 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하고 이마에나 손에 표를 받으면 [10] 그도 하나님의 진노의 포도주를 마시리니 그 진노의 잔에 섞인 것이 없이 부은 포도주라 거룩한 천사들 앞과 어린 양 앞에서 불과 유황으로 고난을 받으리니 [11] 그 고난의 연기가 세세토록 올라가리로다 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하고 그 이름의 표를 받는 자는 누구든지 밤낮 쉼을 얻지 못하리라 하더라 [12] 성도들의 인내가 여기 있나니 저희는 하나님의 계명과 예수 믿음을 지키는 자니라
(계 14:9-12, NKJV) [9] Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, [10] "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. (11) 불꽃 가운데 고난 받는 곳.

7. 하나님의 은사는 영생.
(1) 예수 우리주 안에 있는 영생.
(롬 6:23, 개역) 죄의 삯은 사망이요 하나님의 은사는 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 영생이니라
(Rm 6:23, NKJV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Jn 14:6, NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(요 1:1-5, 개역) [1] 태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라 [2] 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고 [3] 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라 [4] 그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라 [5] 빛이 어두움에 비취되 어두움이 깨닫지 못하더라
(요 1:1-5, NKJV) [1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [4] In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
(2) 아무도 빼앗을수 없음.
(요 10:28-30, 개역) [28] 내가 저희에게 영생을 주노니 영원히 멸망치 아니할 터이요 또 저희를 내 손에서 빼앗을 자가 없느니라 [29] 저희를 주신 내 아버지는 만유보다 크시매 아무도 아버지 손에서 빼앗을 수 없느니라 [30] 나와 아버지는 하나이니라 하신대
(요 10:28-30, NKJV) [28] "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. [29] "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. [30] "I and My Father are one."
(3) 예수님이 생명이심
(요일 5:12-13, 개역) [12] 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라 [13] 내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓴 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라
(요일 5:12-13, NKJV) [12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. [13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
(4) 하나님의 사랑.
(요 3:16, 개역) 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라
(Jn 3:16, NKJV) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(5) 천국에서 영원히.
(단 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 그 때에 네 민족을 호위하는 대군 미가엘이 일어날 것이요 또 환난이 있으리니 이는 개국 이래로 그 때까지 없던 환난일 것이며 그 때에 네 백성 중 무릇 책에 기록된 모든 자가 구원을 얻을 것이라 [2] 땅의 티끌 가운데서 자는 자 중에 많이 깨어 영생을 얻는 자도 있겠고 수욕을 받아서 무궁히 부끄러움을 입을 자도 있을 것이며 [3] 지혜 있는 자는 궁창의 빛과 같이 빛날 것이요 많은 사람을 옳은 데로 돌아오게 한 자는 별과 같이 영원토록 비취리라
(단 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. [2] And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. [3] Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
(딤후 4:17-18, 개역) [17] 주께서 내 곁에 서서 나를 강건케 하심은 나로 말미암아 전도의 말씀이 온전히 전파되어 이방인으로 듣게 하려 하심이니 내가 사자의 입에서 건지웠느니라 [18] 주께서 나를 모든 악한 일에서 건져내시고 또 그의 천국에 들어가도록 구원하시리니 그에게 영광이 세세무궁토록 있을지어다 아멘
(딤후 4:17-18, NKJV) [17] But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. [18] And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
(6) 생명책.
(빌 4:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 나의 사랑하고 사모하는 형제들, 나의 기쁨이요 면류관인 사랑하는 자들아 이와 같이 주 안에 서라 [2] 내가 유오디아를 권하고 순두게를 권하노니 주 안에서 같은 마음을 품으라 [3] 또 참으로 나와 멍에를 같이 한 자, 네게 구하노니 복음에 나와 함께 힘쓰던 저 부녀들을 돕고 또한 글레멘드와 그 위에 나의 동역자들을 도우라 그 이름들이 생명책에 있느니라
(빌 4:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. [2] I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. [3] And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
(7) 새생명의 능력으로 살아감.
(고후 4:7-10, 개역) [7] 우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 능력의 심히 큰 것이 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라 [8] 우리가 사방으로 우겨쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 아니하며 답답한 일을 당하여도 낙심하지 아니하며 [9] 핍박을 받아도 버린 바 되지 아니하며 거꾸러뜨림을 당하여도 망하지 아니하고 [10] 우리가 항상 예수 죽인 것을 몸에 짊어짐은 예수의 생명도 우리 몸에 나타나게 하려 함이라
(고후 4:7-10, NKJV) [7] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. [8] We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- [10] always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
(8) 날마다 새롭게 하심.
(고후 4:16-18, 개역) [16] 그러므로 우리가 낙심하지 아니하노니 겉 사람은 후패하나 우리의 속은 날로 새롭도다 [17] 우리의 잠시 받는 환난의 경한 것이 지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것을 우리에게 이루게 함이니 [18] 우리의 돌아보는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠간이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이니라
(고후 4:16-18, NKJV) [16] Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. [17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, [18] while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(9) 천국을 사모하는 삶.
(벧후 3:11-13, 개역) [11] 이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하뇨 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로 [12] 하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라 그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와 [13] 우리는 그의 약속대로 의의 거하는 바 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다
(벧후 3:11-13, NKJV) [11] Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, [12] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? [13] Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
(10) 찬양의 제사.
(히 13:15, 개역) 이러므로 우리가 예수로 말미암아 항상 찬미의 제사를 하나님께 드리자 이는 그 이름을 증거하는 입술의 열매니라
(Heb 13:15, NKJV) Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
(시 150:6, 개역) 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할지어다 할렐루야
(Ps 150:6, NKJV) Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
(11) 헌신의 제사.
(롬 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 [3] 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라
(롬 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
(12) 감사의 제사.
(시 50:14-15, 개역) [14] 감사로 하나님께 제사를 드리며 지극히 높으신 자에게 네 서원을 갚으며 [15] 환난 날에 나를 부르라 내가 너를 건지리니 네가 나를 영화롭게 하리로다
(시 50:14-15, NKJV) [14] Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High. [15] Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."
(13) 하나님 사랑 이웃사랑.
(마 22:37-40, 개역) [37] 예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 [38] 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 [39] 둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 [40] 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라
(마 22:37-40, NKJV) [37] Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [38] "This is the first and great commandment. [39] "And the second is like it： 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' [40] "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
사랑하는 성도 여러분,
나는 죄의 종이 아님을 알고 있습니까?
예수님 안에 새로운 피조물이기 때문이요 새생명이 있기 때문입니다.
나는 무엇에 순종하고 있습니까?
성령님을 따라 살아야 합니다.
거룩한 삶을 이룩해야 합니다.
죄의 종이었을 때를 부끄러워 합니까?
조의 종으로 살았다면 그 결과는 무엇이었을 까요?
끔찍한 지옥입니다.
생각을 좀 해 보셨습니까?
그러나 하나님의 은사는 영생 천국입니다.
전적인 하나님의 은혜와 사랑입니다.
천국을 묵상하고 사모해야 합니다.
이제는 남은 삶을 전적으로 하나님을 위하여 살아야 합니다.
하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 사랑의 종으로 살아야 합니다.
기쁨으로 섬겨야 합니다.
오늘도, 오직 하나님의 은혜로 최악의 지옥에서 최고의 천국으로 가게 된 사실을 깨닫고 남은 삶을 오직 주님 만을 위하여 기쁨으로 충성을 다하여 살아가는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
