<비시디아 안디옥 설교>
(행 13:26-52, 바른) [26] 형제들아, 아브라함의 자손들과, 너희 중 하나님을 경외하는 자들아, 하나님께서 이 구원의 말씀을 우리에게 보내셨으나 [27] 예루살렘에 사는 자들과 그들의 관원들이 이분을 알지 못하고 또 안식일마다 읽는 선지자들의 음성도 알지 못하여, 이분을 정죄함으로써 예언을 성취하였다. [28] 그들은 그분에게서 죽일 만한 죄를 하나도 찾지 못하였으나, 빌라도에게 그분을 죽여 달라고 요청하였다. [29] 그분에 대해 기록된 것이 다 이루어진 후에 그분을 나무에서 내려 무덤에 두었으나, [30] 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 자들 가운데서 살리셨다. [31] 그분은 갈릴리에서 자신과 함께 예루살렘으로 올라온 자들에게 여러 날 동안 나타나셨으니, 그들이 이제 백성 앞에서 그분의 증인들이다. [32] 우리도 조상들에게 하신 이 약속의 복음을 너희에게 전하니, [33] 하나님께서 예수님을 일으키셔서 그들의 자손인 우리에게 이 약속을 이루어 주셨기 때문이다. 이는 시편 둘째 편에 기록된 바와 같으니, '너는 내 아들이다. 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았다.' 라고 하였다. [34] 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 자들 가운데서 일으키셔서 다시 썩음으로 돌아가지 않게하셨으니, 말씀하시기를 '내가 다윗에게 한 신실하고 거룩한 약속들을 너희에게 주겠다.' 라고 하셨고, [35] 또 다른 곳에 이런 말씀도 있으니, '주께서는 주님의 거룩한 자로 썩지 않게 하실 것이다.' 라고 하셨다. [36] 그런데 다윗은 자신의 세대 동안 하나님의 뜻을 받들어 섬기다가 잠들었고, 그의 조상들과 함께 묻혀 썩음을 당하였으나, [37] 하나님께서 살리신 분은 썩음을 당하지 않으셨으니, [38] 그러므로 형제들아, 너희는 알아라. 이분을 통해 죄 용서가 너희에게 선포되고, [39] 너희가 모세의 율법으로 의롭다 함을 받지 못하던 모든 일에도 이분 안에서 모든 믿는 자가 의롭다 함을 받는다. [40] 그러므로 너희는 선지자들에 의하여 말씀한 것이 임하지 않도록 조심하라. 말씀하기를 [41] '보아라, 너희 멸시하는 자들아, 너희는 놀라고 망하여라. 내가 너희 생전에 한 가지 일을 행하겠으나, 누가 너희에게 이야기하더라도 너희가 도무지 그 일을 믿지 않을 것이기 때문이다.' 라고 하였다." [42] 그들이 나갈 때에 사람들이 다음 안식일에도 자신들에게 이 말씀을 해 달라고 간청하였다. [43] 회중이 흩어진 후에 유대인들과 유대교에 입교한 경건한 자들 중에서 많은 이들이 바울과 바나바를 따르니, 바울과 바나바가 그들과 함께 말하고, 항상 하나님의 은혜 가운데 있으라고 권하였다. [44] 다음 안식일에는 거의 온 성읍이 주님의 말씀을 들으려고 모이니, [45] 유대인들이 무리들을 보고 시기가 가득하여 바울이 말한 것들을 반박하며 모독하였다. [46] 그러자 바울과 바나바가 담대히 말하였다. "너희에게 먼저 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 것이 마땅하나, 너희가 그것을 거부하고 스스로 영생에 합당치 않은 자라고 판단하므로, 보아라, 이제 우리는 이방인들에게로 향한다. [47] 이는 주께서 우리에게 이와 같이 명령하시기를 '내가 너를 이방인들의 빛으로 세웠으니, 이는 너를 땅 끝까지 구원을 전하는 자가 되게 하려는 것이다.' 라고 하였기 때문이다." [48] 이방인들이 듣고 기뻐하여 주님의 말씀을 찬양하였고, 영생을 얻도록 작정된 자들은 다 믿었다. [49] 주님의 말씀이 온 지방에 두루 퍼지자, [50] 유대인들이 경건한 귀부인들과 그 성읍의 지도층을 선동하여, 바울과 바나바를 박해하도록 하여 그들을 자신들의 지역에서 내쫓았다. [51] 바울과 바나바가 자신들의 발의 먼지를 떨어 버리고 이고니온으로 갔으며, [52] 제자들은 기쁨과 성령이 충만하였다.

[27] "For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. [28] "And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. [29] "Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. [30] "But God raised Him from the dead. [31] "He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people. [32] "And we declare to you glad tidings--that promise which was made to the fathers. [33] "God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm： 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.' [34] "And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus： 'I will give you the sure mercies of David.' [35] "Therefore He also says in another Psalm： 'You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.' [36] "For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; [37] "but He whom God raised up saw no corruption. [38] "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; [39] "and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. [40] "Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you： [41] "Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means believe, Though one were to declare it to you.'" [42] So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. [43] Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. [44] On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. [45] But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. [46] Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. [47] "For so the Lord has commanded us： 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.'" [48] Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. [49] And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. [50] But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. [51] But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. [52] And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
오늘은 지난 시간에 이어지는 이야기로 바울과 바나바가 구브로 섬에서 터키 내룩의 비시디아 안디옥에서 행한 설교말씀과 그 반응을 기록하고 있습니다.
여기서 주목할 것은 사울의 이름이 이제 바울로 바뀌어 있다는 점이고 여기 안디옥은 수리아의 안디옥이 아니라 비시디아 지방의 안디옥입니다.
바울과 바나바가 회당에 들어갔고 거기 회당의 요청으로 바울이 말씀을 전하였습니다. 요점은 구약에 예언 된 메시야 곧 (1) 다윗의 언약의 자손으로 오신 예수님을 유대인들이 나무에 달아 죽인 죄악을 저질렀다는 것이며 하나님이 그를 살리셨고 그를 힘입어 죄사함을 받는 다는 것입니다. 특별히 (2) 시편 16편의 주의 거룩한자로 썩지 않게 하신다는 예언이 이루어진것도 바로 예수님임을 증거하였습니다. (3) 세례요한이 증거한 분도 바로 예수님이라고 말하였습니다. (4) 시편 2편에 예언한 하나님의 아들이 또한 예수님 바로 그분이라는 것입니다. 그로므로 메시야 예수님을 믿지 않으면 멸망을 당할것이라는 경고였습니다.
유대인들은 시기가 가득하여 믿지 않았지만 이를 듣는 이방인들은 듣고 기뻐하였습니다. 많은 사람들이 구원을 얻었습니다. 그러나 유대인들과 유력한 자들이 공모하여 바울과 바나바를 그 도시에서 쫒아냈습니다. 주님의 명령대로 발에 먼지를 털어서 말씀을 받아들이지 않는 그들의 책임을 확증하였습니다. 그러나 그들은 기쁨과 성령이 충만하였습니다. 많은 사람들이 복음을 받아 들였기 때문입니다.
이제 복음은 계속하여 세상 끝까지 전파되기 시작하였습니다.
그리고 이제 2000년이 지난 지금 우리에게 까지 전하여져서 우리가 예수님을 믿게 된것입니다. 우리는 이제 다음세대에 그리고 가는 곳마다 복음을 전하는 특권과 사명을 이어 받았습니다.
1. 바울의 설교
(1) 출애굽의 은혜
(출 12:40-42, 바른) [40] 이스라엘 자손이 이집트에 살았던 기간이 사백삼십 년이었다. [41] 사백삼십 년이 마치는 바로 그 날 여호와의 모든 군대가 이집트 땅에서 나왔다. [42] 그 날 밤은 여호와께서 그들을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내셨으므로 여호와를 위하여 지켜야 할 밤이니, 이스라엘 자손이 대대로 지켜야 한다.
(출 12:40-42, NKJV) [40] Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. [41] And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years--on that very same day--it came to pass that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. [42] It is a night of solemn observance to the LORD for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the LORD, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
(2) 광야 인도하심
(민 9:15-23, 바른) [15] 성막을 세우던 날에 구름이 증거막인 성막을 덮었고, 저녁부터 아침까지 불의 모양이 성막 위에 있었다. [16] 이와 같이 구름이 항상 있어서 그것을 덮었고, 밤에는 불의 모양이었다. [17] 구름이 장막 위로 떠오르면 이스라엘 자손이 진행하였고, 구름이 머무는 곳에 이스라엘 자손이 진을 쳤다. [18] 여호와의 명령에 따라 이스라엘 자손이 진행하고 여호와의 명령에 따라 진을 쳤으며, 성막 위에 구름이 머무는 모든 날 동안 그들은 진영에 머물렀고, [19] 구름이 성막 위에 오랫동안 머물러 있을 때에는 이스라엘 자손이 여호와의 명령을 지켜 출발하지 않았다. [20] 구름이 성막 위에 며칠만 있어도 여호와의 명령에 따라 진을 치고, 또 여호와의 명령에 따라 출발하였으며, [21] 구름이 저녁부터 아침까지 머물다가 아침에 떠오르면 그들이 출발하였고, 낮이나 밤에 구름이 떠올라도 그들이 출발하였다. [22] 이틀이나 한 달이나 혹 일 년이든지 구름이 성막 위에 머물러 있으면, 이스라엘 자손이 진을 치고 출발하지 않다가 그것이 떠오를 때에 진행하였다. [23] 그들이 여호와의 명령을 따라 진을 치고 여호와의 명령에 따라 출발하였으며, 모세를 통해 주신 여호와의 명령에 따라 여호와의 직임을 지켰다.
(민 9:15-23, NKJV) [15] Now on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire. [16] So it was always： the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. [17] Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel would journey; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents. [18] At the command of the LORD the children of Israel would journey, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud stayed above the tabernacle they remained encamped. [19] Even when the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not journey. [20] So it was, when the cloud was above the tabernacle a few days： according to the command of the LORD they would remain encamped, and according to the command of the LORD they would journey. [21] So it was, when the cloud remained only from evening until morning： when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they would journey; whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud was taken up, they would journey. [22] Whether it was two days, a month, or a year that the cloud remained above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would remain encamped and not journey; but when it was taken up, they would journey. [23] At the command of the LORD they remained encamped, and at the command of the LORD they journeyed; they kept the charge of the LORD, at the command of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
(3) 예수님이 다윗의 언약을 성취하신 분.
(행 13:22-23, 바른) [22] 그를 폐하시고, 그들을 위하여 다윗을 왕으로 세우시면서 그에 대하여 증언하여 말씀하시기를 '이새의 아들 다윗을 만나니 내 마음에 맞는 사람이다. 그가 내 모든 뜻을 행할 것이다.' 라고 하셨다. [23] 하나님께서 약속하신 대로 이 사람의 씨에서 이스라엘에게 구주 예수님을 일으키셨다.
(행 13:22-23, NKJV) [22] "And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.' [23] "From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior--Jesus--
(4) 예수님은 십자가에서 죽으시고 부활하심.
(행 13:28-31, 개역) [28] 죽일 죄를 하나도 찾지 못하였으나 빌라도에게 죽여 달라 하였으니 [29] 성경에 저를 가리켜 기록한 말씀을 다 응하게 한 것이라 후에 나무에서 내려다가 무덤에 두었으나 [30] 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 저를 살리신지라 [31] 갈릴리로부터 예루살렘에 함께 올라간 사람들에게 여러 날 보이셨으니 저희가 이제 백성 앞에 그의 증인이라

(5) 거룩한 자로 썩지 않게 하실것임
(행 13:35-36, 개역) [35] 그러므로 또 다른 편에 일렀으되 주의 거룩한 자로 썩음을 당하지 않게 하시리라 하셨느니라 [36] 다윗은 당시에 하나님의 뜻을 좇아 섬기다가 잠들어 그 조상들과 함께 묻혀 썩음을 당하였으되

(6) 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았다.
(시 2:7-9, 개역) [7] 내가 영을 전하노라 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 내 아들이라 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았도다 [8] 내게 구하라 내가 열방을 유업으로 주리니 네 소유가 땅 끝까지 이르리로다 [9] 네가 철장으로 저희를 깨뜨림이여 질그릇 같이 부수리라 하시도다
(시 2:7-9, NKJV) [7] "I will declare the decree： The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. [8] Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. (7) 예수님을 힘입어 죄사함을 받음.
(행 13:38, 개역) 그러므로 형제들아 너희가 알 것은 이 사람을 힘입어 죄 사함을 너희에게 전하는 이것이며
(Ac 13:38, NKJV) "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;
(엡 1:7, 개역) 우리가 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 구속 곧 죄 사함을 받았으니
(Eph 1:7, NKJV) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
(벧전 1:18-19, 개역) [18] 너희가 알거니와 너희 조상의 유전한 망령된 행실에서 구속된 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질 것으로 한 것이 아니요 [19] 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 한 것이니라

(8) 예수님을 믿는 자마다 의롭다하심을 받음.
(행 13:39, 개역) 또 모세의 율법으로 너희가 의롭다 하심을 얻지 못하던 모든 일에도 이 사람을 힘입어 믿는 자마다 의롭다 하심을 얻는 이것이라

(롬 3:23-24, 개역) [23] 모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니 [24] 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구속으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었느니라

(9) 세례요한이 증거하신 분
(행 13:24-27, 개역) [24] 그 오시는 앞에 요한이 먼저 회개의 침례를 이스라엘 모든 백성에게 전파하니라 [25] 요한이 그 달려 갈 길을 마칠 때에 말하되 너희가 나를 누구로 생각하느냐 나는 그리스도가 아니라 내 뒤에 오시는 이가 있으니 나는 그 발의 신 풀기도 감당치 못하리라 하였으니 [26] 형제들, 아브라함의 후예와 너희 중 하나님을 경외하는 사람들아 이 구원의 말씀을 우리에게 보내셨거늘 [27] 예루살렘에 사는 자들과 저희 관원들이 예수와 및 안식일마다 외우는 바 선지자들의 말을 알지 못하므로 예수를 정죄하여 선지자들의 말을 응하게 하였도다

[25] "And as John was finishing his course, he said, 'Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.' (10) 경고
(행 13:40-41, 개역) [40] 그런즉 너희는 선지자들로 말씀하신 것이 너희에게 미칠까 삼가라 [41] 일렀으되 보라 멸시하는 사람들아 너희는 놀라고 망하라 내가 너희 때를 당하여 한 일을 행할 것이니 사람이 너희에게 이를지라도 도무지 믿지 못할 일이라 하였느니라 하니라

2. 항상 하나님의 은혜에 머물러있으라.
많은 사람들이 이 복음을 받아 들였습니다.
(1) 예배
(사 58:13-14, 개역) [13] 만일 안식일에 네 발을 금하여 내 성일에 오락을 행치 아니하고 안식일을 일컬어 즐거운 날이라, 여호와의 성일을 존귀한 날이라 하여 이를 존귀히 여기고 네 길로 행치 아니하며 네 오락을 구치 아니하며 사사로운 말을 하지 아니하면 [14] 네가 여호와의 안에서 즐거움을 얻을 것이라 내가 너를 땅의 높은 곳에 올리고 네 조상 야곱의 업으로 기르리라 여호와의 입의 말이니라
(사 58:13-14, NKJV) [13] "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, [14] Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. (시 1:1-3, 개역) [1] 복 있는 사람은 악인의 꾀를 좇지 아니하며 죄인의 길에 서지 아니하며 오만한 자의 자리에 앉지 아니하고 [2] 오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여 그 율법을 주야로 묵상하는 자로다 [3] 저는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 시절을 좇아 과실을 맺으며 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니 그 행사가 다 형통하리로다

(Ac 5:32, NKJV) "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
(5) 포도나무

(히 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3. 시기가 가득한 유대인들.
(1) 비방
(마 7:1-5, 개역) [1] 비판을 받지 아니하려거든 비판하지 말라 [2] 너희의 비판하는 그 비판으로 너희가 비판을 받을 것이요 너희의 헤아리는 그 헤아림으로 너희가 헤아림을 받을 것이니라 [3] 어찌하여 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티는 보고 네 눈 속에 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐 [4] 보라 네 눈 속에 들보가 있는데 어찌하여 형제에게 말하기를 나로 네 눈 속에 있는 티를 빼게 하라 하겠느냐 [5] 외식하는 자여 먼저 네 눈 속에서 들보를 빼어라 그 후에야 밝히 보고 형제의 눈 속에서 티를 빼리라
(마 7:1-5, NKJV) [1] "Judge not, that you be not judged. [2] "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. [3] "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? (2) 핍박
(행 7:51-53, 개역) [51] 목이 곧고 마음과 귀에 할례를 받지 못한 사람들아 너희가 항상 성령을 거스려 너희 조상과 같이 너희도 하는도다 [52] 너희 조상들은 선지자 중에 누구를 핍박지 아니하였느냐 의인이 오시리라 예고한 자들을 저희가 죽였고 이제 너희는 그 의인을 잡아준 자요 살인한 자가 되나니 [53] 너희가 천사의 전한 율법을 받고도 지키지 아니하였도다 하니라
(행 7:51-53, NKJV) [51] "You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. [52] "Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, [53] "who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it."
(3) 사단
(계 12:9, 개역) 큰 용이 내어 쫓기니 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사단이라고도 하는 온 천하를 꾀는 자라 땅으로 내어 쫓기니 그의 사자들도 저와 함께 내어 쫓기니라
(Rv 12:9, NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
(요 8:44, 개역) 너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라
(Jn 8:44, NKJV) "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
(4) 시기로 예수님을 대적한 유대인들
(마 27:17-21, 개역) [17] 저희가 모였을 때에 빌라도가 물어 가로되 너희는 내가 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 바라바냐 그리스도라 하는 예수냐 하니 [18] 이는 저가 그들의 시기로 예수를 넘겨준 줄 앎이러라 [19] 총독이 재판 자리에 앉았을 때에 그 아내가 사람을 보내어 가로되 저 옳은 사람에게 아무 상관도 하지 마옵소서 오늘 꿈에 내가 그사람을 인하여 애를 많이 썼나이다 하더라 [20] 대제사장들과 장로들이 무리를 권하여 바라바를 달라 하게 하고 예수를 멸하자 하게 하였더니 [21] 총독이 대답하여 가로되 둘 중에 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 가로되 바라바로소이다
(마 27:17-21, NKJV) [17] Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?" [18] For he knew that they had handed Him over because of envy. [20] But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. (5) 세상의 영
(고전 2:10-12, 개역) [10] 오직 하나님이 성령으로 이것을 우리에게 보이셨으니 성령은 모든 것 곧 하나님의 깊은 것이라도 통달하시느니라 [11] 사람의 사정을 사람의 속에 있는 영 외에는 누가 알리요 이와 같이 하나님의 사정도 하나님의 영 외에는 아무도 알지 못하느니라 [12] 우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하여금 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라
(고전 2:10-12, NKJV) [10] But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. [11] For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
(6) 흑암권세 아래
(골 1:13-16, 개역) [13] 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니 [14] 그 아들 안에서 우리가 구속 곧 죄 사함을 얻었도다 [15] 그는 보이지 아니하시는 하나님의 형상이요 모든 창조물보다 먼저 나신 자니 [16] 만물이 그에게 창조되되 하늘과 땅에서 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들과 혹은 보좌들이나 주관들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 만물이 다 그로 말미암고 그를 위하여 창조되었고
(골 1:13-16, NKJV) [13] He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, [14] in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. [15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. [16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
(7) 어그러지고 거스리는 세대
(빌 2:14-18, 개역) [14] 모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라 [15] 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스리는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며 [16] 생명의 말씀을 밝혀 나의 달음질도 헛되지 아니하고 수고도 헛되지 아니함으로 그리스도의 날에 나로 자랑할 것이 있게 하려 함이라 [17] 만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴지라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니 [18] 이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라
(빌 2:14-18, NKJV) [14] Do all things without complaining and disputing, [15] that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, [16] holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. [17] Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. (8) 패역한 세대
(행 2:38-42, 개역) [38] 베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 침례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니 [39] 이 약속은 너희와 너희 자녀와 모든 먼 데 사람 곧 주 우리 하나님이 얼마든지 부르시는 자들에게 하신 것이라 하고 [40] 또 여러 말로 확증하며 권하여 가로되 너희가 이 패역한 세대에서 구원을 받으라 하니 [41] 그 말을 받는 사람들은 침례를 받으매 이 날에 제자의 수가 삼천이나 더하더라 [42] 저희가 사도의 가르침을 받아 서로 교제하며 떡을 떼며 기도하기를 전혀 힘쓰니라
(행 2:38-42, NKJV) [38] Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." [40] And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." [41] Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. [42] And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
(9) 정과 욕심을 따름
(엡 2:1-3, 개역) [1] 너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다 [2] 그 때에 너희가 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍속을 좇고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라 [3] 전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음의 원하는 것을 하여 다른 이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니
(엡 2:1-3, NKJV) [1] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, [2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, [3] among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
(10) 심판과 멸망의 길
(시 73:16-28, 개역) [16] 내가 어찌면 이를 알까 하여 생각한즉 내게 심히 곤란하더니 [17] 하나님의 성소에 들어갈 때에야 저희 결국을 내가 깨달았나이다 [18] 주께서 참으로 저희를 미끄러운 곳에 두시며 파멸에 던지시니 [19] 저희가 어찌 그리 졸지에 황폐되었는가 놀람으로 전멸하였나이다 [20] 주여 사람이 깬 후에는 꿈을 무시함 같이 주께서 깨신 후에 저희 형상을 멸시하시리이다 [21] 내 마음이 산란하며 내 심장이 찔렸나이다 [22] 내가 이같이 우매 무지하니 주의 앞에 짐승이오나 [23] 내가 항상 주와 함께하니 주께서 내 오른손을 붙드셨나이다 [24] 주의 교훈으로 나를 인도하시고 후에는 영광으로 나를 영접하시리니 [25] 하늘에서는 주 외에 누가 내게 있으리요 땅에서는 주 밖에 나의 사모할 자 없나이다 [26] 내 육체와 마음은 쇠잔하나 하나님은 내 마음의 반석이시요 영원한 분깃이시라 [27] 대저 주를 멀리하는 자는 망하리니 음녀 같이 주를 떠난 자를 주께서 다 멸하셨나이다 [28] 하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라 내가 주 여호와를 나의 피난처로 삼아 주의 모든 행사를 전파하리이다
(시 73:16-28, NKJV) [16] When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me-- [17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. [18] Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. [19] Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. [20] As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image. [21] Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. [22] I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. [23] Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. (롬 5:8-10, NKJV) [8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. [10] For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

4. 우리는 이방인에게로 가노라.
(1) 만민에게
(막 16:15-17, 개역) [15] 또 가라사대 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라 [16] 믿고 침례를 받는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이요 믿지 않는 사람은 정죄를 받으리라 [17] 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 저희가 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며
(막 16:15-17, NKJV) [15] And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. [17] "And these signs will follow those who believe： In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
(2) 하나님의 섭리
(롬 11:25-32, 개역) [25] 형제들아 너희가 스스로 지혜있다 함을 면키 위하여 이 비밀을 너희가 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니 이 비밀은 이방인의 충만한 수가 들어오기까지 이스라엘의 더러는 완악하게 된 것이라 [26] 그리하여 온 이스라엘이 구원을 얻으리라 기록된 바 구원자가 시온에서 오사 야곱에게서 경건치 않은 것을 돌이키시겠고 [27] 내가 저희 죄를 없이 할 때에 저희에게 이루어질 내 언약이 이것이라 함과 같으니라 [28] 복음으로 하면 저희가 너희를 인하여 원수 된 자요 택하심으로 하면 조상들을 인하여 사랑을 입은 자라 [29] 하나님의 은사와 부르심에는 후회하심이 없느니라 [30] 너희가 전에 하나님께 순종치 아니하더니 이스라엘의 순종치 아니함으로 이제 긍휼을 입었는지라 [31] 이와 같이 이 사람들이 순종치 아니하니 이는 너희에게 베푸시는 긍휼로 이제 저희도 긍휼을 얻게 하려 하심이니라 [32] 하나님이 모든 사람을 순종치 아니하는 가운데 가두어 두심은 모든 사람에게 긍휼을 베풀려 하심이로다

(4) 누구든지
(행 2:21, 개역) 누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리라 하였느니라
(Ac 2:21, NKJV) And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'

(5) 세상을 사랑하사
(요 3:16, 개역) 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라
(Jn 3:16, NKJV) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(6) 이방의 빛
(행 13:47, 개역) 주께서 이같이 우리를 명하시되 내가 너를 이방의 빛을 삼아 너로 땅 끝까지 구원하게 하리라 하셨느니라 하니
(Ac 13:47, NKJV) "For so the Lord has commanded us： 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
(행 26:23, 개역) 곧 그리스도가 고난을 받으실 것과 죽은 자 가운데서 먼저 다시 살아나사 이스라엘과 이방인들에게 빛을 선전하시리라 함이니이다 하니라
(Ac 26:23, NKJV) "that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles."
(7) 발에 먼지를 털어 버리라.
(마 10:11-15, 개역) [11] 아무 성이나 촌에 들어가든지 그 중에 합당한 자를 찾아내어 너희 떠나기까지 거기서 머물라 [12] 또 그 집에 들어가면서 평안하기를 빌라 [13] 그 집이 이에 합당하면 너희 빈 평안이 거기 임할 것이요 만일 합당치 아니하면 그 평안이 너희에게 돌아올 것이니라 [14] 누구든지 너희를 영접도 아니하고 너희 말을 듣지도 아니하거든 그 집이나 성에서 나가 너희 발의 먼지를 떨어 버리라 [15] 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 심판날에 소돔과 고모라 땅이 그 성보다 견디기 쉬우리라
(마 10:11-15, NKJV) [11] "Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. [12] "And when you go into a household, greet it. [13] "If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. (8) 보냄을 받은 자들
(마 10:1, 개역) 예수께서 그 열두 제자를 부르사 더러운 귀신을 쫓아내며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치는 권능을 주시니라
(Mt 10:1, NKJV) And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

5. 듣고 기뻐하는 이방인들.
(1) 롬 10:9-10
(롬 10:9-10, 개역) [9] 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 얻으리니 [10] 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라
(롬 10:9-10, NKJV) [9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(2) 롬 10:17
(롬 10:17, 개역) 그러므로 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암았느니라
(Rm 10:17, NKJV) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(3) 행 2:38
(행 2:38, 개역) 베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 침례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니
(Ac 2:38, NKJV) Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(4) 롬 6:1-4
̇(롬 6:1-4, 개역) [1] 그런즉 우리가 무슨 말 하리요 은혜를 더하게 하려고 죄에 거하겠느뇨 [2] 그럴 수 없느니라 죄에 대하여 죽은 우리가 어찌 그 가운데 더 살리요 [3] 무릇 그리스도 예수와 합하여 침례를 받은 우리는 그의 죽으심과 합하여 침례 받은 줄을 알지 못하느뇨 [4] 그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 침례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이니라
(롬 6:1-4, NKJV) [1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? [3] Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? [4] Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

(히 4:12, 개역) 하나님의 말씀은 살았고 운동력이 있어 좌우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여 혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개기까지 하며 또 마음의 생각과 뜻을 감찰하나니
(Heb 4:12, NKJV) For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
(6) 살전 2:13
(살전 2:13, 개역) 이러므로 우리가 하나님께 쉬지 않고 감사함은 너희가 우리에게 들은 바 하나님의 말씀을 받을 때에 사람의 말로 아니하고 하나님의 말씀으로 받음이니 진실로 그러하다 이 말씀이 또한 너희 믿는 자 속에서 역사하느니라
(1Th 2:13, NKJV) For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.
(7) 요 3:5
(요 3:5, 개역) 예수께서 대답하시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라
(Jn 3:5, NKJV) Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
(8) 벧후 1:3
(벧후 1:3-4, 개역) [3] 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라 [4] 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니
(벧후 1:3-4, NKJV) [3] as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, [4] by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(9) 고전 12:1-3
(고전 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 형제들아 신령한 것에 대하여는 내가 너희의 알지 못하기를 원치 아니하노니 [2] 너희도 알거니와 너희가 이방인으로 있을 때에 말 못하는 우상에게로 끄는 그대로 끌려 갔느니라 [3] 그러므로 내가 너희에게 알게 하노니 하나님의 영으로 말하는 자는 누구든지 예수를 저주할 자라 하지 않고 또 성령으로 아니하고는 누구든지 예수를 주시라 할 수 없느니라
(고전 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant： [2] You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. [3] Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
(10) 새로운 피조물
(고후 5:17, 개역) 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다
(2Co 5:17, NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
6. 영생을 주시기로 작정된 자는 다 믿더라.
(1) 엡 1
(엡 1:3-6, 개역) [3] 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리에게 복 주시되 [4] 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 [5] 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 [6] 이는 그의 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬미하게 하려는 것이라
(엡 1:3-6, NKJV) [3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [5] having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [6] to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.
(2) 롬 8
(롬 8:29-30, 개역) [29] 하나님이 미리 아신 자들로 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라 [30] 또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라
(롬 8:29-30, NKJV) [29] For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
(3) 렘1
(렘 1:4-9, 개역) [4] 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하니라 이르시되 [5] 내가 너를 복중에 짓기 전에 너를 알았고 네가 태에서 나오기 전에 너를 구별하였고 너를 열방의 선지자로 세웠노라 하시기로 [6] 내가 가로되 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 보소서 나는 아이라 말할 줄을 알지 못하나이다 [7] 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 아이라 하지 말고 내가 너를 누구에게 보내든지 너는 가며 내가 네게 무엇을 명하든지 너는 말할지니라 [8] 너는 그들을 인하여 두려워 말라 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구원하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라 하시고 [9] 여호와께서 그 손을 내밀어 내 입에 대시며 내게 이르시되 보라 내가 내 말을 네 입에 두었노라

(4) 구원의 신비.
(딤전 3:16, 개역) 크도다 경건의 비밀이여 그렇지 않다 하는 이 없도다 그는 육신으로 나타난 바 되시고 영으로 의롭다 하심을 입으시고 천사들에게 보이시고 만국에서 전파되시고 세상에서 믿은 바 되시고 영광 가운데서 올리우셨음이니라
(1Tm 3:16, NKJV) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness： God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
(딛 2:11-14, 개역) [11] 모든 사람에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 은혜가 나타나 [12] 우리를 양육하시되 경건치 않은 것과 이 세상 정욕을 다 버리고 근신함과 의로움과 경건함으로 이 세상에 살고 [13] 복스러운 소망과 우리의 크신 하나님 구주 예수 그리스도의 영광이 나타나심을 기다리게 하셨으니 [14] 그가 우리를 대신하여 자신을 주심은 모든 불법에서 우리를 구속하시고 우리를 깨끗하게 하사 선한 일에 열심하는 친 백성이 되게 하려 하심이니라
(딛 2:11-14, NKJV) [11] For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
(5) 오직은혜
(엡 2:8-9, 개역) [8] 너희가 그 은혜를 인하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 얻었나니 이것이 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이라 [9] 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 이는 누구든지 자랑치 못하게 함이니라
(엡 2:8-9, NKJV) [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, [9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(6) 믿음은 들음에서
(롬 10:17, 개역) 그러므로 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암았느니라
(Rm 10:17, NKJV) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(7) 강한자가

(8) 마귀에서 하나님
(요일 3:10, 개역) 이러므로 하나님의 자녀들과 마귀의 자녀들이 나타나나니 무릇 의를 행치 아니하는 자나 또는 그 형제를 사랑치 아니하는 자는 하나님께 속하지 아니하니라
(1Jn 3:10, NKJV) In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest： Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
(9) 우상을 버리고
(살전 1:8-10, 개역) [8] 주의 말씀이 너희에게로부터 마게도냐와 아가야에만 들릴 뿐 아니라 하나님을 향하는 너희 믿음의 소문이 각처에 퍼지므로 우리는 아무 말도 할 것이 없노라 [9] 저희가 우리에 대하여 스스로 고하기를 우리가 어떻게 너희 가운데 들어간 것과 너희가 어떻게 우상을 버리고 하나님께로 돌아와서 사시고 참되신 하나님을 섬기며 [10] 또 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리신 그의 아들이 하늘로부터 강림하심을 기다린다고 말하니 이는 장래 노하심에서 우리를 건지시는 예수시니라

7. 기쁨과 성령이 충만한 제자들
(1) 어떻게 우상을 버리고 참 하나님께로 돌아왔는가
(살전 1:8-10, 개역) [8] 주의 말씀이 너희에게로부터 마게도냐와 아가야에만 들릴 뿐 아니라 하나님을 향하는 너희 믿음의 소문이 각처에 퍼지므로 우리는 아무 말도 할 것이 없노라 [9] 저희가 우리에 대하여 스스로 고하기를 우리가 어떻게 너희 가운데 들어간 것과 너희가 어떻게 우상을 버리고 하나님께로 돌아와서 사시고 참되신 하나님을 섬기며 [10] 또 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리신 그의 아들이 하늘로부터 강림하심을 기다린다고 말하니 이는 장래 노하심에서 우리를 건지시는 예수시니라

(롬 5:3-4, NKJV) [3] And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; [4] and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
(3) 행 5
(행 5:41-42, 개역) [41] 사도들은 그 이름을 위하여 능욕 받는 일에 합당한 자로 여기심을 기뻐하면서 공회 앞을 떠나니라 [42] 저희가 날마다 성전에 있든지 집에 있든지 예수는 그리스도라 가르치기와 전도하기를 쉬지 아니하니라
(행 5:41-42, NKJV) [41] So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. [42] And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
(4) 구원의 확신
(빌 1:6, 개역) 너희 속에 착한 일을 시작하신 이가 그리스도 예수의 날까지 이루실 줄을 우리가 확신하노라
(Php 1:6, NKJV) being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
(5) 많은 열매
(빌 1:18, 개역) 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라
(Php 1:18, NKJV) What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
(6) 빼앗을 수 없음
(요 10:28-30, 개역) [28] 내가 저희에게 영생을 주노니 영원히 멸망치 아니할 터이요 또 저희를 내 손에서 빼앗을 자가 없느니라 [29] 저희를 주신 내 아버지는 만유보다 크시매 아무도 아버지 손에서 빼앗을 수 없느니라 [30] 나와 아버지는 하나이니라 하신대
(요 10:28-30, NKJV) [28] "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. [29] "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. [30] "I and My Father are one."
(7) 찬양하라
(계 5:12, 개역) 큰 음성으로 가로되 죽임을 당하신 어린 양이 능력과 부와 지혜와 힘과 존귀와 영광과 찬송을 받으시기에 합당하도다 하더라
(Rv 5:12, NKJV) saying with a loud voice： "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

[15] "Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. [16] "They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; [17] "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
(8) 항상 기뻐하라.
(살전 5:16-18, 개역) [16] 항상 기뻐하라 [17] 쉬지 말고 기도하라 [18] 범사에 감사하라 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라
(살전 5:16-18, NKJV) [16] Rejoice always, [17] pray without ceasing, [18] in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
(9) 더 큰 영광
(고후 4:16-18, 개역) [16] 그러므로 우리가 낙심하지 아니하노니 겉 사람은 후패하나 우리의 속은 날로 새롭도다 [17] 우리의 잠시 받는 환난의 경한 것이 지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것을 우리에게 이루게 함이니 [18] 우리의 돌아보는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠간이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이니라
(고후 4:16-18, NKJV) [16] Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. [17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, [18] while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(10) 끊을수 없는 사랑
(롬 8:38-39, 개역) [38] 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 [39] 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 아무 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라
(롬 8:38-39, NKJV) [38] For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, [39] nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(11) 은혜의 보좌 앞에
(히 4:14-16, 개역) [14] 그러므로 우리에게 큰 대제사장이 있으니 승천하신 자 곧 하나님 아들 예수시라 우리가 믿는 도리를 굳게 잡을지어다 [15] 우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리 연약함을 체휼하지 아니하는 자가 아니요 모든 일에 우리와 한결 같이 시험을 받은 자로되 죄는 없으시니라 [16] 그러므로 우리가 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 것이니라
(히 4:14-16, NKJV) [14] Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. [15] For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
(12) 결코 정죄함이 없다.
(롬 8:1-2, 개역) [1] 그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니 [2] 이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라
(롬 8:1-2, NKJV) [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
(13) 생각하는 것이나 구하는 것에 능히 더하심
(엡 3:20-21, 개역) [20] 우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리의 온갖 구하는 것이나 생각하는 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게 [21] 교회 안에서와 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광이 대대로 영원 무궁하기를 원하노라 아멘
(엡 3:20-21, NKJV) [20] Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, [21] to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
(14) 영생 천국
(갈 3:27-29, 개역) [27] 누구든지 그리스도와 합하여 침례를 받은 자는 그리스도로 옷 입었느니라 [28] 너희는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자주자나 남자나 여자 없이 다 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나이니라 [29] 너희가 그리스도께 속한 자면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라
(갈 3:27-29, NKJV) [27] For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(계 21:1-4, 개역) [1] 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 [2] 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 예비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 [3] 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 가로되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 저희와 함께 거하시리니 저희는 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 저희와 함께 계셔서 [4] 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 씻기시매 다시 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라
(계 21:1-4, NKJV) [1] Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [2] Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. [4] "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
(15) 성령의 열매
(갈 5:22-24, 개역) [22] 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 [23] 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라 [24] 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라
(갈 5:22-24, NKJV) [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. [24] And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
(16) 천국 유업
(빌 3:17-21, 개역) [17] 형제들아 너희는 함께 나를 본받으라 또 우리로 본을 삼은 것 같이 그대로 행하는 자들을 보이라 [18] 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라 [19] 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라 [20] 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니 [21] 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라
(빌 3:17-21, NKJV) [17] Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. [18] For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ： [19] whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. [20] For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
(17) 하나님의 자녀
(롬 8:15, 개역) 너희는 다시 무서워하는 종의 영을 받지 아니하였고 양자의 영을 받았으므로 아바 아버지라 부르짖느니라
(Rm 8:15, NKJV) For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
(18) 성령 내주하심
(갈 2:20, 개역) 내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라
(Gl 2:20, NKJV) "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
(요 14:16, 개역) 내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하시리니
(Jn 14:16, NKJV) "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
(19) 진리를 발견함
(마 13:44-46, 개역) [44] 천국은 마치 밭에 감추인 보화와 같으니 사람이 이를 발견한 후 숨겨두고 기뻐하여 돌아가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 밭을 샀느니라 [45] 또 천국은 마치 좋은 진주를 구하는 장사와 같으니 [46] 극히 값진 진주 하나를 만나매 가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 진주를 샀느니라
(마 13:44-46, NKJV) [44] "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. [45] "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, [46] "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
(20) 흑암에서 빛으로 나왔기에
(행 26:18, 개역) 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어두움에서 빛으로, 사단의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아가게 하고 죄사함과 나를 믿어 거룩케 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다
(Ac 26:18, NKJV) 'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'
(21) 해방되었기에
(롬 8:1-2, 개역) [1] 그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니 [2] 이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라
(롬 8:1-2, NKJV) [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
(22) 함께 하시기에
(마 28:20, 개역) 내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라
(Mt 28:20, NKJV) "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

(23) 약속의 말씀을 받았기에
(고후 1:20-22, 개역) [20] 하나님의 약속은 얼마든지 그리스도 안에서 예가 되니 그런즉 그로 말미암아 우리가 아멘 하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 되느니라 [21] 우리를 너희와 함께 그리스도 안에서 견고케 하시고 우리에게 기름을 부으신 이는 하나님이시니 [22] 저가 또한 우리에게 인치시고 보증으로 성령을 우리 마음에 주셨느니라
(고후 1:20-22, NKJV) [20] For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. [21] Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, [22] who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
(계 1:7, 개역) 볼지어다 구름을 타고 오시리라 각인의 눈이 그를 보겠고 그를 찌른 자들도 볼 터이요 땅에 있는 모든 족속이 그를 인하여 애곡하리니 그러하리라 아멘
(Rv 1:7, NKJV) Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
(살전 5:1-10, 개역) [1] 형제들아 때와 시기에 관하여는 너희에게 쓸 것이 없음은 [2] 주의 날이 밤에 도적 같이 이를 줄을 너희 자신이 자세히 앎이라 [3] 저희가 평안하다, 안전하다 할 그 때에 잉태된 여자에게 해산 고통이 이름과 같이 멸망이 홀연히 저희에게 이르리니 결단코 피하지 못하리라 [4] 형제들아 너희는 어두움에 있지 아니하매 그 날이 도적 같이 너희에게 임하지 못하리니 [5] 너희는 다 빛의 아들이요 낮의 아들이라 우리가 밤이나 어두움에 속하지 아니하나니 [6] 그러므로 우리는 다른 이들과 같이 자지 말고 오직 깨어 근신할지라 [7] 자는 자들은 밤에 자고 취하는 자들은 밤에 취하되 [8] 우리는 낮에 속하였으니 근신하여 믿음과 사랑의 흉배를 붙이고 구원의 소망의 투구를 쓰자 [9] 하나님이 우리를 세우심은 노하심에 이르게 하심이 아니요 오직 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 구원을 얻게 하신 것이라 [10] 예수께서 우리를 위하여 죽으사 우리로 하여금 깨든지 자든지 자기와 함께 살게 하려 하셨느니라
(살전 5:1-10, NKJV) [1] But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. [2] For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. [3] For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. [4] But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. [5] You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. [7] For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. [8] But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. [9] For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

바울은 구약성경을 통하여 메시야 예수님을 전하였습니다.
예수님은 구약에 예언된 말씀을 모두 이루신 메시야 이십니다.
바울은 예수님의 십자가와 부활을 전하였습니다.
많은 사람들이 복음을 받아들였습니다.
성령의 역사하심입니다.
바울은 하나님의 은혜에 머물러있으라고 하였습니다.
우리는 주님안에 머물러 있어야 합니다.
예배 기도 말씀 순종입니다.
거절과 핍박이 일어났습니다.
믿은 제자들은 성령과 기쁨이 충만하였습니다.
예수님을 믿는 제자들의 특징은 바로 성령께서 주시는 기쁨입니다.
확신입니다.
영생천국을 얻었습니다.
주님이 항상 함께 하십니다.
우리는 담대함으로 더욱 큰 확신으로 복음을 전해야 하겠습니다.
오늘도, 바울과 함께 하신 주님이 우리와 지금 여기서 함께 역사하심을 믿고 의지하여 열심히 복음을 전함으로 하나님 나라를 확장하는데 쓰임을 받는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 감절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
