<에스더> 더 7:1-10

<에스더>

(더 7:1-10, 개역) [1] 왕이 하만과 함께 또 왕후 에스더의 잔치에 나아가니라 [2] 왕이 이 둘째 날 잔치에 술을 마실 때에 다시 에스더에게 물어 가로되 왕후 에스더여 그대의 소청이 무엇이뇨 곧 허락하겠노라 그대의 요구가 무엇이뇨 곧 나라의 절반이라 할지라도 시행하겠노라 [3] 왕후 에스더가 대답하여 가로되 왕이여 내가 만일 왕의 목전에서 은혜를 입었으며 왕이 선히 여기시거든 내 소청대로 내 생명을 내게 주시고 내 요구대로 내 민족을 내게 주소서 [4] 나와 내 민족이 팔려서 죽임과 도륙함과 진멸함을 당하게 되었나이다 만일 우리가 노비로 팔렸더면 내가 잠잠하였으리이다 그래도 대적이 왕의 손해를 보충하지 못하였으리이다 [5] 아하수에로 왕이 왕후 에스더에게 일러 가로되 감히 이런 일을 심중에 품은 자가 누구며 그가 어디 있느뇨 [6] 에스더가 가로되 대적과 원수는 이 악한 하만이니이다 하니 하만이 왕과 왕후 앞에서 두려워하거늘 [7] 왕이 노하여 일어나서 잔치 자리를 떠나 왕궁 후원으로 들어가니라 하만이 일어서서 왕후 에스더에게 생명을 구하니 이는 왕이 자기에게 화를 내리기로 결심한 줄 앎이더라 [8] 왕이 후원으로부터 잔치 자리에 돌아오니 하만이 에스더의 앉은 걸상 위에 엎드렸거늘 왕이 가로되 저가 궁중 내 앞에서 왕후를 강간까지 하고자 하는가 이 말이 왕의 입에서 나오매 무리가 하만의 얼굴을 싸더라 [9] 왕을 모신 내시 중에 하르보나가 왕에게 아뢰되 왕을 위하여 충성된 말로 고발한 모르드개를 달고자 하여 하만이 고가 오십 규빗 되는 나무를 준비하였는데 이제 그 나무가 하만의 집에 섰나이다 왕이 가로되 하만을 그 나무에 달라 하매 [10] 모르드개를 달고자 한 나무에 하만을 다니 왕의 노가 그치니라

(더 7:1-10, NKJV) [1] So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. [2] And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, "What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!" [3] Then Queen Esther answered and said, "If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. [4] "For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king's loss." [5] So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, "Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?" [6] And Esther said, "The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!" So Haman was terrified before the king and queen. [7] Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. [8] When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, "Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?" As the word left the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face. [9] Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, "Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king's behalf, is standing at the house of Haman." Then the king said, "Hang him on it!" [10] So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided.

 

오늘은 에스더서의 이야기를 통하여 은혜를 받기 원합니다.

에스더서 에는 많은 영적 교훈이 숨어 있습니다.

바사가 세상을 지배하던 시대입니다.

많은 유대인들이 536년 바사왕 고레스의 칙령과 스룹바벨의 인도로 고향으로 돌아갔지만 아직도 바사에는 고향 예루살렘에 돌아가지 못한 많은 유대인들이 살고 있었습니다. 에스더는 이런 배경을 가지고 시작합니다.

수산궁에 살고 있던 유대인들중에 모르드개와 에스더가 있었고 에스더는 모르드개의 사촌이었지만 나이가 어려 딸처럼 키운 여인이었습니다.

아하수에로 왕은 자신의 영광을 들어내기 위하여 무려 180일동안 잔치를 열었습니다. 그러니 왕궁은 매일 잔치집입니다.

왕은 더나가서 자신의 왕비의 아름다움을 자랑하기 위하여 잔치 자리에 오라고 하였지만 거절하자 신하들의 권고로 새로운 왕비를 간택하였는데 그가 바로 에스더였습니다.

한편 하만이라는 자가 등장하는데 이자는 마귀와 적그리스도의 모형으로 모든 사람들이 자기에게 절을 하라고 강요합니다. 그러나 모르드개가 절을 하지 않자 모드르개의 민족인 유대인들을 다 죽이는 날자를 왕에게 받아내었습니다. 하만은 거기에 그치지 않고 모드르개를 나무에 매달아 죽이려고 하였습니다.

한편 모르드개는 에스더에게 연락하여 이 급박한 상황을 알리면서 왕에게 도움을 구하라고 합니다. 네가 이 때를 위하여 왕비가 된 것이 아니냐고 하였습니다. 그러나 왕의 허락없이 아무나 왕앞에 나가면 죽임을 당할수도 있었습니다. 에스더는 죽으면 죽으리라고 하고 삼일을 금식하면서 기도한 후에 왕에게 나갔고 왕은 금홀을 내밀면서 왕비를 맞아주었습니다.

하만은 모르드개를 죽이기를 허락받으러 왕에게 나왔지만 왕은 오히려 역적음모를 발견한 모르드개를 높여 줍니다. 에스더의 소원이 궁금하였던 왕은 잔치자리에서 물어 보았고 에스더는 자기와 자기 민족이 학살당할 위기에 놓여 있음을 말하며 그 원수가 바로 하만임을 말하였고 왕은 하만을 모르드개를 달아 죽이려고 하였던 그 나무에 매달아 죽이라고 명하였습니다. 왕은 하만에게 주었던 인장반지를 빼앗아 모르드개에게 주었습니다. 순식간에 상황이 역전 된것입니다. 이것은 바로 예수님이 죽으신 십자가의 진리를 잘 보여주고 있습니다.

원수마귀는 하나님의 아들 메시야 예수님을 십자가에 매달아 죽이면 모든 상황이 끝난다고 생각하였지만 정작 자기 자신이 패하고 말았습니다. 예수님은 사흘만에 말씀하신대로 부활하셨고 마귀의 모든 권세가 깨어지고 말았습니다.

놀라운 역전극입니다. 모르드개와 유대인들은 기뻐하면 잔치를 베풀었습니다.

예수님을 믿는 우리들의 인생도 역전이요 반전의 인생이 될줄로 믿습니다.

하나님은 우리들의 일상 생활에서 숨어 역사하고 계십니다.

오늘 말씀을 통하여 새힘과 소망을 얻는 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 축원합니다.

 

1. 왕의 잔치

(1) 자랑

(더 1:4, 개역) 왕이 여러 날 곧 일백팔십 일 동안에 그 영화로운 나라의 부함과 위엄의 혁혁함을 나타내니라

(Est 1:4, NKJV) when he showed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the splendor of his excellent majesty for many days, one hundred and eighty days in all.

 

(렘 9:23-24, 개역) [23] 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 지혜로운 자는 그 지혜를 자랑치 말라 용사는 그 용맹을 자랑치 말라 부자는 그 부함을 자랑치 말라 [24] 자랑하는 자는 이것으로 자랑할지니 곧 명철하여 나를 아는 것과 나 여호와는 인애와 공평과 정직을 땅에 행하는 자인줄 깨닫는 것이라 나는 이 일을 기뻐하노라 여호와의 말이니라

(렘 9:23-24, NKJV) [23] Thus says the LORD： "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; [24] But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.

 

(고전 1:31-32, 개역) [31] 기록된 바 자랑하는 자는 주 안에서 자랑하라 함과 같게 하려 함이니라

(고전 1:31-32, NKJV) [31] that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."

 

(2) 사치

(약 5:1-6, 개역) [1] 들으라 부한 자들아 너희에게 임할 고생을 인하여 울고 통곡하라 [2] 너희 재물은 썩었고 너희 옷은 좀 먹었으며 [3] 너희 금과 은은 녹이 슬었으니 이 녹이 너희에게 증거가 되며 불 같이 너희 살을 먹으리라 너희가 말세에 재물을 쌓았도다 [4] 보라 너희 밭에 추수한 품꾼에게 주지 아니한 삯이 소리지르며 추수한 자의 우는 소리가 만군의 주의 귀에 들렸느니라 [5] 너희가 땅에서 사치하고 연락하여 도살의 날에 너희 마음을 살찌게 하였도다 [6] 너희가 옳은 자를 정죄하였도다 또 죽였도다 그는 너희에게 대항하지 아니하였느니라

(약 5:1-6, NKJV) [1] Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! [2] Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. [3] Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. [4] Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. [5] You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. [6] You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.

 

(계 18:3-5, 개역) [3] 그 음행의 진노의 포도주를 인하여 만국이 무너졌으며 또 땅의 왕들이 그로 더불어 음행하였으며 땅의 상고들도 그 사치의 세력을 인하여 치부하였도다 하더라 [4] 또 내가 들으니 하늘로서 다른 음성이 나서 가로되 내 백성아, 거기서 나와 그의 죄에 참예하지 말고 그의 받을 재앙들을 받지 말라 [5] 그 죄는 하늘에 사무쳤으며 하나님은 그의 불의한 일을 기억하신지라

(계 18:3-5, NKJV) [3] "For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury." [4] And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. [5] "For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

 

(3) 쾌락

(딤후 3:1-5, 개역) [1] 네가 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르리니 [2] 사람들은 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자긍하며 교만하며 훼방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사치 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며 [3] 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 참소하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아 아니하며 [4] 배반하여 팔며 조급하며 자고하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 [5] 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하는 자니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라

(딤후 3:1-5, NKJV) [1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come： [2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

 

(4) 정욕

(엡 2:1-5, 개역) [1] 너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다 [2] 그 때에 너희가 그 가운데서 행하여 이 세상 풍속을 좇고 공중의 권세 잡은 자를 따랐으니 곧 지금 불순종의 아들들 가운데서 역사하는 영이라 [3] 전에는 우리도 다 그 가운데서 우리 육체의 욕심을 따라 지내며 육체와 마음의 원하는 것을 하여 다른 이들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀이었더니 [4] 긍휼에 풍성하신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하신 그 큰 사랑을 인하여 [5] 허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도 예수 안에서 살리셨고 (너희가 은혜로 구원을 얻은 것이라)

(엡 2:1-5, NKJV) [1] And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, [2] in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, [3] among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. [4] But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, [5] even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

 

(5) 헛됨

(전 1:2-8, 개역) [2] 전도자가 가로되 헛되고 헛되며 헛되고 헛되니 모든 것이 헛되도다 [3] 사람이 해 아래서 수고하는 모든 수고가 자기에게 무엇이 유익한고 [4] 한 세대는 가고 한 세대는 오되 땅은 영원히 있도다 [5] 해는 떴다가 지며 그 떴던 곳으로 빨리 돌아가고 [6] 바람은 남으로 불다가 북으로 돌이키며 이리 돌며 저리 돌아 불던 곳으로 돌아가고 [7] 모든 강물은 다 바다로 흐르되 바다를 채우지 못하며 어느 곳으로 흐르든지 그리로 연하여 흐르느니라 [8] 만물의 피곤함을 사람이 말로 다 할 수 없나니 눈은 보아도 족함이 없고 귀는 들어도 차지 아니하는도다

(전 1:2-8, NKJV) [2] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." [3] What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? [4] One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever. [5] The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, And hastens to the place where it arose. [6] The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit. [7] All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea is not full; To the place from which the rivers come, There they return again. [8] All things are full of labor; Man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor the ear filled with hearing.

 

(6) 술에 취하였습니다.

(엡 5:16-18, 개역) [16] 세월을 아끼라 때가 악하니라 [17] 그러므로 어리석은 자가 되지 말고 오직 주의 뜻이 무엇인가 이해하라 [18] 술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령의 충만을 받으라

(엡 5:16-18, NKJV) [16] redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. [18] And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

 

(7) 부자와 나사로

(눅 16:19-25, 개역) [19] 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데 [20] 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워 [21] 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라 [22] 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매 [23] 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고 [24] 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다 [25] 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라

(눅 16:19-25, NKJV) [19] "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. [20] "But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, [21] "desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. [22] "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. [23] "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. [24] "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [25] "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

 

(8) 하나님께 소망을 두어야 합니다.

(롬 5:3-4, 개역) [3] 다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를, [4] 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다

(롬 5:3-4, NKJV) [3] And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; [4] and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

 

(딤전 4:7-10, 개역) [7] 망령되고 허탄한 신화를 버리고 오직 경건에 이르기를 연습하라 [8] 육체의 연습은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건은 범사에 유익하니 금생과 내생에 약속이 있느니라 [9] 미쁘다 이 말이여 모든 사람들이 받을 만하도다 [10] 이를 위하여 우리가 수고하고 진력하는 것은 우리 소망을 살아계신 하나님께 둠이니 곧 모든 사람 특히 믿는 자들의 구주시라

(딤전 4:7-10, NKJV) [7] But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. [8] For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. [9] This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. [10] For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

 

(벧전 1:3-4, 개역) [3] 찬송하리로다 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지 하나님이 그 많으신 긍휼대로 예수 그리스도의 죽은 자 가운데서 부활하심으로 말미암아 우리를 거듭나게 하사 산 소망이 있게 하시며 [4] 썩지 않고 더럽지 않고 쇠하지 아니하는 기업을 잇게 하시나니 곧 너희를 위하여 하늘에 간직하신 것이라

(벧전 1:3-4, NKJV) [3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

 

(딤전 1:1-3, 개역) [1] 우리 구주 하나님과 우리 소망이신 그리스도 예수의 명령을 따라 그리스도 예수의 사도 된 바울은 [2] 믿음 안에서 참 아들 된 디모데에게 편지하노니 하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 주께로부터 은혜와 긍휼과 평강이 네게 있을지어다 [3] 내가 마게도냐로 갈 때에 너를 권하여 에베소에 머물라 한 것은 어떤 사람들을 명하여 다른 교훈을 가르치지 말며

(히 3:6, 개역) 그리스도는 그의 집 맡은 아들로 충성하였으니 우리가 소망의 담대함과 자랑을 끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그의 집이라

(Heb 3:6, NKJV) but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

 

(골 1:27, 개역) 하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 어떻게 풍성한 것을 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라

(Col 1:27, NKJV) To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles： which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

 

(9) 왕후 와스디를 폐위하였습니다.

(더 1:19, 개역) 왕이 만일 선히 여기실진대 와스디로 다시는 왕 앞에 오지 못하게 하는 조서를 내리되 바사와 메대의 법률 중에 기록하여 변역함이 없게 하고 그 왕후의 위를 저보다 나은 사람에게 주소서

(Est 1:19, NKJV) "If it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she.

 

2. 에스더의 단장과 왕비됨

(벧전 3:3-6, 개역) [3] 너희 단장은 머리를 꾸미고 금을 차고 아름다운 옷을 입는 외모로 하지 말고 [4] 오직 마음에 숨은 사람을 온유하고 안정한 심령의 썩지 아니할 것으로 하라 이는 하나님 앞에 값진 것이니라 [5] 전에 하나님께 소망을 두었던 거룩한 부녀들도 이와 같이 자기 남편에게 순복함으로 자기를 단장하였나니 [6] 사라가 아브라함을 주라 칭하여 복종한 것 같이 너희가 선을 행하고 아무 두려운 일에도 놀라지 아니함으로 그의 딸이 되었느니라

(벧전 3:3-6, NKJV) [3] Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-- [4] rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. [5] For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, [6] as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

 

(벧후 1:3-11, 개역) [3] 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라 [4] 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니 [5] 이러므로 너희가 더욱 힘써 너희 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을, [6] 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을, [7] 경건에 형제 우애를, 형제 우애에 사랑을 공급하라 [8] 이런 것이 너희에게 있어 흡족한즉 너희로 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 알기에 게으르지 않고 열매 없는 자가 되지 않게 하려니와 [9] 이런 것이 없는 자는 소경이라 원시치 못하고 그의 옛 죄를 깨끗케 하심을 잊었느니라 [10] 그러므로 형제들아 더욱 힘써 너희 부르심과 택하심을 굳게 하라 너희가 이것을 행한즉 언제든지 실족지 아니하리라 [11] 이같이 하면 우리 주 곧 구주 예수 그리스도의 영원한 나라에 들어감을 넉넉히 너희에게 주시리라

(벧후 1:3-11, NKJV) [3] as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, [4] by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, [6] to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, [7] to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. [8] For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. [10] Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; [11] for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

 

(1) 사랑

(고전 13:4-7, 개역) [4] 사랑은 오래 참고 사랑은 온유하며 투기하는 자가 되지 아니하며 사랑은 자랑하지 아니하며 교만하지 아니하며 [5] 무례히 행치 아니하며 자기의 유익을 구치 아니하며 성내지 아니하며 악한 것을 생각지 아니하며 [6] 불의를 기뻐하지 아니하며 진리와 함께 기뻐하고 [7] 모든 것을 참으며 모든 것을 믿으며 모든 것을 바라며 모든 것을 견디느니라

(고전 13:4-7, NKJV) [4] Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; [5] does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; [6] does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; [7] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

 

(2) 온유함

(갈 5:22-24, 개역) [22] 오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과 [23] 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라 [24] 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정과 욕심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라

(갈 5:22-24, NKJV) [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. [24] And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

 

(3) 겸손

(벧전 5:5-6, 개역) [5] 젊은 자들아 이와 같이 장로들에게 순복하고 다 서로 겸손으로 허리를 동이라 하나님이 교만한 자를 대적하시되 겸손한 자들에게는 은혜를 주시느니라 [6] 그러므로 하나님의 능하신 손 아래서 겸손하라 때가 되면 너희를 높이시리라

(벧전 5:5-6, NKJV) [5] Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." [6] Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

 

(4) 예수로 옷입고

(롬 13:11-14, 개역) [11] 또한 너희가 이 시기를 알거니와 자다가 깰 때가 벌써 되었으니 이는 이제 우리의 구원이 처음 믿을 때보다 가까웠음이니라 [12] 밤이 깊고 낮이 가까웠으니 그러므로 우리가 어두움의 일을 벗고 빛의 갑옷을 입자 [13] 낮에와 같이 단정히 행하고 방탕과 술 취하지 말며 음란과 호색하지 말며 쟁투와 시기하지 말고 [14] 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 위하여 육신의 일을 도모하지 말라

(롬 13:11-14, NKJV) [11] And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. [12] The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. [13] Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. [14] But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

 

(5) 의로움

(엡 4:22-24, 개역) [22] 너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 좇는 옛 사람을 벗어버리고 [23] 오직 심령으로 새롭게 되어 [24] 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라

(엡 4:22-24, NKJV) [22] that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, [24] and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

 

(6) 왕의 택함을 받음

(엡 1:3-6, 개역) [3] 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리에게 복 주시되 [4] 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 [5] 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 [6] 이는 그의 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬미하게 하려는 것이라

(엡 1:3-6, NKJV) [3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, [4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [5] having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [6] to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

 

(7) 하나님의 준비하심

(창 22:11-14, 개역) [11] 여호와의 사자가 하늘에서부터 그를 불러 가라사대 아브라함아 아브라함아 하시는지라 아브라함이 가로되 내가 여기 있나이다 하매 [12] 사자가 가라사대 그 아이에게 네 손을 대지 말라 아무 일도 그에게 하지 말라 네가 네 아들 네 독자라도 내게 아끼지 아니하였으니 내가 이제야 네가 하나님을 경외하는 줄을 아노라 [13] 아브라함이 눈을 들어 살펴본즉 한 수양이 뒤에 있는데 뿔이 수풀에 걸렸는지라 아브라함이 가서 그 수양을 가져다가 아들을 대신하여 번제로 드렸더라 [14] 아브라함이 그 땅 이름을 여호와이레라 하였으므로 오늘까지 사람들이 이르기를 여호와의 산에서 준비되리라 하더라

(창 22:11-14, NKJV) [11] But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" So he said, "Here I am." [12] And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me." [13] Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. [14] And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."

 

(8) 모르드개의 지시에 따름

(요 10:27, 개역) 내 양은 내 음성을 들으며 나는 저희를 알며 저희는 나를 따르느니라

(Jn 10:27, NKJV) "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

 

(갈 5:16, 개역) 내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 좇아 행하라 그리하면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라

(Gl 5:16, NKJV) I say then： Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

 

3. 모르드개의 절개

(1) 우상에게 절하지 말라

(출 20:1-5, 개역) [1] 하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 일러 가라사대 [2] 나는 너를 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 너의 하나님 여호와로라 [3] 너는 나 외에는 다른 신들을 네게 있게 말지니라 [4] 너를 위하여 새긴 우상을 만들지 말고 또 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물 속에 있는 것의 아무 형상이든지 만들지 말며 [5] 그것들에게 절하지 말며 그것들을 섬기지 말라 나 여호와 너의 하나님은 질투하는 하나님인즉 나를 미워하는 자의 죄를 갚되 아비로부터 아들에게로 삼사 대까지 이르게 하거니와

(출 20:1-5, NKJV) [1] And God spoke all these words, saying： [2] "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [3] "You shall have no other gods before Me. (단 3:15-18, 개역) [15] 이제라도 너희가 예비하였다가 언제든지 나팔과 피리와 수금과 삼현금과 양금과 생황과 및 모든 악기 소리를 듣거든 내가 만든 신상 앞에 엎드리어 절하면 좋거니와 너희가 만일 절하지 아니하면 즉시 너희를 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데 던져 넣을 것이니 능히 너희를 내 손에서 건져낼 신이 어떤 신이겠느냐 [16] 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 왕에게 대답하여 가로되 느부갓네살이여 우리가 이 일에 대하여 왕에게 대답할 필요가 없나이다 [17] 만일 그럴 것이면 왕이여 우리가 섬기는 우리 하나님이 우리를 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데서 능히 건져 내시겠고 왕의 손에서도 건져내시리이다 [18] 그리 아니하실지라도 왕이여 우리가 왕의 신들을 섬기지도 아니하고 왕의 세우신 금 신상에게 절하지도 아니할 줄을 아옵소서

(단 3:15-18, NKJV) [15] "Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?" [16] Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. [17] "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. [18] "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

 

(3) 오직예수

(행 4:12, 개역) 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라

(Ac 4:12, NKJV) "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

 

(신 18:15, 개역) 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 중 네 형제 중에서 나와 같은 선지자 하나를 너를 위하여 일으키시리니 너희는 그를 들을지니라

(Dt 18:15, NKJV) "The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear,

 

(딤전 2:4-5, 개역) [4] 하나님은 모든 사람이 구원을 받으며 진리를 아는 데 이르기를 원하시느니라 [5] 하나님은 한 분이시요 또 하나님과 사람 사이에 중보도 한 분이시니 곧 사람이신 그리스도 예수라

(딤전 2:4-5, NKJV) [4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. [5] For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

 

(4) 재물

(마 19:20-22, 개역) [20] 그 청년이 가로되 이 모든 것을 내가 지키었사오니 아직도 무엇이 부족하니이까 [21] 예수께서 가라사대 네가 온전하고자 할진대 가서 네 소유를 팔아 가난한 자들을 주라 그리하면 하늘에서 보화가 네게 있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 좇으라 하시니 [22] 그 청년이 재물이 많으므로 이 말씀을 듣고 근심하며 가니라

(마 19:20-22, NKJV) [20] The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" [21] Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." [22] But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

(5) 하만에게 절하지 않음

(더 3:1-6, 개역) [1] 그 후에 아하수에로 왕이 아각 사람 함므다다의 아들 하만의 지위를 높이 올려 모든 함께 있는 대신 위에 두니 [2] 대궐 문에 있는 왕의 모든 신복이 다 왕의 명대로 하만에게 꿇어 절하되 모르드개는 꿇지도 아니하고 절하지도 아니하니 [3] 대궐 문에 있는 왕의 신복이 모르드개에게 이르되 너는 어찌하여 왕의 명령을 거역하느냐 하고 [4] 날마다 권하되 모르드개가 듣지 아니하고 자기는 유다인임을 고하였더니 저희가 모르드개의 일이 어찌되나 보고자 하여 하만에게 고하였더라 [5] 하만이 모르드개가 꿇지도 아니하고 절하지도 아니함을 보고 심히 노하더니 [6] 저희가 모르드개의 민족을 하만에게 고한고로 하만이 모르드개만 죽이는 것이 경하다 하고 아하수에로의 온 나라에 있는 유다인 곧 모르드개의 민족을 다 멸하고자 하더라

(더 3:1-6, NKJV) [1] After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him. [2] And all the king's servants who were within the king's gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage. [3] Then the king's servants who were within the king's gate said to Mordecai, "Why do you transgress the king's command?" [4] Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai's words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew. [5] When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. [6] But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus--the people of Mordecai.

 

(6) 정절이있는 자라

(계 14:1-5, 개역) [1] 또 내가 보니 어린 양이 시온 산에 섰고 그와 함께 십사만 사천이 섰는데 그 이마에 어린 양의 이름과 그 아버지의 이름을 쓴 것이 있도다 [2] 내가 하늘에서 나는 소리를 들으니 많은 물소리도 같고 큰 뇌성도 같은데 내게 들리는 소리는 거문고 타는 자들의 그 거문고 타는 것 같더라 [3] 저희가 보좌와 네 생물과 장로들 앞에서 새 노래를 부르니 땅에서 구속함을 얻은 십사만 사천 인 밖에는 능히 이 노래를 배울 자가 없더라 [4] 이 사람들은 여자로 더불어 더럽히지 아니하고 정절이 있는 자라 어린 양이 어디로 인도하든지 따라가는 자며 사람 가운데서 구속을 받아 처음 익은 열매로 하나님과 어린 양에게 속한 자들이니 [5] 그 입에 거짓말이 없고 흠이 없는 자들이더라

(계 14:1-5, NKJV) [1] Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. [2] And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. [3] They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. [4] These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. [5] And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

 

(7) 세상과 타협말라

(롬 12:1-2, 개역) [1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라

(롬 12:1-2, NKJV) [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

 

(8) 세상을 사랑하지 말라

(요일 2:15-17, 개역) [15] 이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑치 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 속에 있지 아니하니 [16] 이는 세상에 있는 모든 것이 육신의 정욕과 안목의 정욕과 이생의 자랑이니 다 아버지께로 좇아 온 것이 아니요 세상으로 좇아 온 것이라 [17] 이 세상도 그 정욕도 지나가되 오직 하나님의 뜻을 행하는 이는 영원히 거하느니라

(요일 2:15-17, NKJV) [15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. [17] And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

 

(9) 반역의 음모를 막는 공을 세운 모르드개

(더 2:19-23, 개역) [19] 처녀들을 다시 모을 때에는 모르드개가 대궐 문에 앉았더라 [20] 에스더가 모르드개의 명한 대로 그 종족과 민족을 고하지 아니하니 저가 모르드개의 명을 양육 받을 때와 같이 좇음이더라 [21] 모르드개가 대궐 문에 앉았을 때에 문 지킨 왕의 내시 빅단과 데레스 두 사람이 아하수에로 왕을 원한하여 모살하려 하거늘 [22] 모르드개가 알고 왕후 에스더에게 고하니 에스더가 모르드개의 이름으로 왕에게 고한지라 [23] 사실하여 실정을 얻었으므로 두 사람을 나무에 달고 그 일을 왕의 앞에서 궁중 일기에 기록하니라

(더 2:19-23, NKJV) [19] When virgins were gathered together a second time, Mordecai sat within the king's gate. [20] Now Esther had not revealed her family and her people, just as Mordecai had charged her, for Esther obeyed the command of Mordecai as when she was brought up by him. [21] In those days, while Mordecai sat within the king's gate, two of the king's eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh, doorkeepers, became furious and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. [22] So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai's name. [23] And when an inquiry was made into the matter, it was confirmed, and both were hanged on a gallows; and it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king.

 

(히 6:10, 개역) 하나님이 불의치 아니하사 너희 행위와 그의 이름을 위하여 나타낸 사랑으로 이미 성도를 섬긴 것과 이제도 섬기는 것을 잊어버리지 아니하시느니라

(Heb 6:10, NKJV) For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

 

4. 하만의 음모와 분노

(1) 아멜렉 족속

(출 17:8-13, 개역) [8] 때에 아말렉이 이르러 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라 [9] 모세가 여호수아에게 이르되 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산꼭대기에 서리라 [10] 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산꼭대기에 올라가서 [11] 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니 [12] 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 그로 그 위에 앉게 하고 아론과 훌이 하나는 이편에서 하나는 저편에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 올렸더니 그 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라 [13] 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 파하니라

Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand." [10] So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. [11] And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. [12] But Moses' hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. [13] So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

 

(2) 마귀

(창 3:1-5, 개역) [1] 여호와 하나님의 지으신 들짐승 중에 뱀이 가장 간교하더라 뱀이 여자에게 물어 가로되 하나님이 참으로 너희더러 동산 모든 나무의 실과를 먹지 말라 하시더냐 [2] 여자가 뱀에게 말하되 동산 나무의 실과를 우리가 먹을 수 있으나 [3] 동산 중앙에 있는 나무의 실과는 하나님의 말씀에 너희는 먹지도 말고 만지지도 말라 너희가 죽을까 하노라 하셨느니라 [4] 뱀이 여자에게 이르되 너희가 결코 죽지 아니하리라 [5] 너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄을 하나님이 아심이니라

(창 3:1-5, NKJV) [1] Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" [2] And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; [3] "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" [4] Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. [5] "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

 

(사 14:12-15, 개역) [12] 너 아침의 아들 계명성이여 어찌 그리 하늘에서 떨어졌으며 너 열국을 엎은 자여 어찌 그리 땅에 찍혔는고 [13] 네가 네 마음에 이르기를 내가 하늘에 올라 하나님의 뭇별 위에 나의 보좌를 높이리라 내가 북극 집회의 산 위에 좌정하리라 [14] 가장 높은 구름에 올라 지극히 높은 자와 비기리라 하도다 [15] 그러나 이제 네가 음부 곧 구덩이의 맨 밑에 빠치우리로다

(사 14:12-15, NKJV) [12] "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! [13] For you have said in your heart： 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; [14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' [15] Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

 

(3) 참소하는 자

(계 12:9, 개역) 큰 용이 내어 쫓기니 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사단이라고도 하는 온 천하를 꾀는 자라 땅으로 내어 쫓기니 그의 사자들도 저와 함께 내어 쫓기니라

(Rv 12:9, NKJV) So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

 

(4) 이스라엘 민족을 죽이라는 조서

(롬 3:20, 개역) 그러므로 율법의 행위로 그의 앞에 의롭다 하심을 얻을 육체가 없나니 율법으로는 죄를 깨달음이니라

(Rm 3:20, NKJV) Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

 

(롬 3:28, 개역) 그러므로 사람이 의롭다 하심을 얻는 것은 율법의 행위에 있지 않고 믿음으로 되는 줄 우리가 인정하노라

(Rm 3:28, NKJV) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

 

(5) 장대를 세움

(눅 23:20-21, 개역) [20] 빌라도는 예수를 놓고자 하여 다시 저희에게 말하되 [21] 저희는 소리질러 가로되 저를 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 하는지라

(눅 23:20-21, NKJV) [20] Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them. [21] But they shouted, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him!"

 

(6) 마귀는 궤계를 씀

(고후 2:10-11, 개역) [10] 너희가 무슨 일이든지 뉘게 용서하면 나도 그리하고 내가 만일 용서한 일이 있으면 용서한 그것은 너희를 위하여 그리스도 앞에서 한 것이니 [11] 이는 우리로 사단에게 속지 않게 하려 함이라 우리가 그 궤계를 알지 못하는 바가 아니로라

(고후 2:10-11, NKJV) [10] Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, [11] lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

 

(고후 11:13-15, 개역) [13] 저런 사람들은 거짓 사도요 궤휼의 역군이니 자기를 그리스도의 사도로 가장하는 자들이니라 [14] 이것이 이상한 일이 아니라 사단도 자기를 광명의 천사로 가장하나니 [15] 그러므로 사단의 일꾼들도 자기를 의의 일꾼으로 가장하는 것이 또한 큰 일이 아니라 저희의 결국은 그 행위대로 되리라

(고후 11:13-15, NKJV) [13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. [14] And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

 

(7) 하만은 적그리스도의 모형

(더 3:12-15, 개역) [12] 정월 십삼일에 왕의 서기관이 소집되어 하만의 명을 따라 왕의 대신과 각 도 방백과 각 민족의 관원에게 아하수에로 왕의 이름으로 조서를 쓰되 곧 각 도의 문자와 각 민족의 방언대로 쓰고 왕의 반지로 인치니라 [13] 이에 그 조서를 역졸에게 부쳐 왕의 각 도에 보내니 십이월 곧 아달월 십삼일 하루 동안에 모든 유다인을 노소나 어린 아이나 부녀를 무론하고 죽이고 도륙하고 진멸하고 또 그 재산을 탈취하라 하였고 [14] 이 명령을 각 도에 전하기 위하여 조서의 초본을 모든 민족에게 선포하여 그 날을 위하여 준비하게 하라 하였더라 [15] 역졸이 왕의 명을 받들어 급히 나가매 그 조서가 도성 수산에도 반포되니 왕은 하만과 함께 앉아 마시되 수산 성은 어지럽더라

In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king's signet ring. [13] And the letters were sent by couriers into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to plunder their possessions. (왕하 11:1-3, 개역) [1] 아하시야의 모친 아달랴가 그 아들의 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 왕의 씨를 진멸하였으나 [2] 요람 왕의 딸 아하시야의 누이 여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들의 죽임을 당하는 중에서 도적하여 내고 저와 그 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하여 죽임을 당치 않게 한지라 [3] 요아스가 저와 함께 여호와의 전에 육 년을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라

(왕하 11:1-3, NKJV) [1] When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal heirs. [2] But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons who were being murdered; and they hid him and his nurse in the bedroom, from Athaliah, so that he was not killed. [3] So he was hidden with her in the house of the LORD for six years, while Athaliah reigned over the land.

(출 1:15-22, NKJV) [15] Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; [16] and he said, "When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live." [17] But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. [18] So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, "Why have you done this thing, and saved the male children alive?" [19] And the midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before the midwives come to them." [20] Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. [21] And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them. [22] So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, "Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive."

 

(8) 하나님의 전신갑주를 입으라

(엡 6:10-20, 개역) [10] 종말로 너희가 주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고 [11] 마귀의 궤계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라 [12] 우리의 씨름은 혈과 육에 대한 것이 아니요 정사와 권세와 이 어두움의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에게 대함이라 [13] 그러므로 하나님의 전신 갑주를 취하라 이는 악한 날에 너희가 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라 [14] 그런즉 서서 진리로 너희 허리띠를 띠고 의의 흉배를 붙이고 [15] 평안의 복음의 예비한 것으로 신을 신고 [16] 모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 화전을 소멸하고 [17] 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지라 [18] 모든 기도와 간구로 하되 무시로 성령 안에서 기도하고 이를 위하여 깨어 구하기를 항상 힘쓰며 여러 성도를 위하여 구하고 [19] 또 나를 위하여 구할 것은 내게 말씀을 주사 나로 입을 벌려 복음의 비밀을 담대히 알리게 하옵소서 할 것이니 [20] 이 일을 위하여 내가 쇠사슬에 매인 사신이 된 것은 나로 이 일에 당연히 할 말을 담대히 하게 하려 하심이니라

(9) 대적하라

(약 4:7, 개역) 그런즉 너희는 하나님께 순복할지어다 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라

(Jms 4:7, NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

 

(벧전 5:7-9, 개역) [7] 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡겨 버리라 이는 저가 너희를 권고하심이니라 [8] 근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 [9] 너희는 믿음을 굳게 하여 저를 대적하라 이는 세상에 있는 너희 형제들도 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄을 앎이니라

(벧전 5:7-9, NKJV) [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [9] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

 

(10) 예수그리스도의 이름으로

(막 16:17-18, 개역) [17] 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 저희가 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 [18] 뱀을 집으며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라

(막 16:17-18, NKJV) [17] "And these signs will follow those who believe： In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; [18] "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

 

(눅 10:19, 개역) 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권세를 주었으니 너희를 해할 자가 결단코 없으리라

(Lk 10:19, NKJV) "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 

(11) 마귀는 쫓겨 났다.

(골 2:14-15, 개역) [14] 우리를 거스리고 우리를 대적하는 의문에 쓴 증서를 도말하시고 제하여 버리사 십자가에 못 박으시고 [15] 정사와 권세를 벗어버려 밝히 드러내시고 십자가로 승리하셨느니라

(골 2:14-15, NKJV) [14] having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. [15] Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

 

5. 에스더의 결단의 기도

(1) 우리는 사명적 존재

(더 4:13-14, 개역) [13] 모르드개가 그를 시켜 에스더에게 회답하되 너는 왕궁에 있으니 모든 유다인 중에 홀로 면하리라 생각지 말라 [14] 이 때에 네가 만일 잠잠하여 말이 없으면 유다인은 다른 데로 말미암아 놓임과 구원을 얻으려니와 너와 네 아비 집은 멸망하리라 네가 왕후의 위를 얻은 것이 이 때를 위함이 아닌지 누가 아느냐

(더 4:13-14, NKJV) [13] And Mordecai told them to answer Esther： "Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. [14] "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

 

(고전 10:31, 개역) 그런즉 너희가 먹든지 마시든지 무엇을 하든지 다 하나님의 영광을 위하여 하라

(1Co 10:31, NKJV) Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

 

(엡 2:10, 개역) 우리는 그의 만드신 바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니 이 일은 하나님이 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라

(Eph 2:10, NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

 

(마 5:13-16, 개역) [13] 너희는 세상의 소금이니 소금이 만일 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요 후에는 아무 쓸데 없어 다만 밖에 버리워 사람에게 밟힐 뿐이니라 [14] 너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨기우지 못할 것이요 [15] 사람이 등불을 켜서 말 아래 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이러므로 집안 모든 사람에게 비취느니라 [16] 이같이 너희 빛을 사람 앞에 비취게 하여 저희로 너희 착한 행실을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라

(마 5:13-16, NKJV) [13] "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. [14] "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. [16] "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

 

(2) 죽으면 죽으리라.

(더 4:15-17, 개역) [15] 에스더가 명하여 모르드개에게 회답하되 [16] 당신은 가서 수산에 있는 유다인을 다 모으고 나를 위하여 금식하되 밤낮 삼 일을 먹지도 말고 마시지도 마소서 나도 나의 시녀로 더불어 이렇게 금식한 후에 규례를 어기고 왕에게 나아가리니 죽으면 죽으리이다 [17] 모르드개가 가서 에스더의 명한 대로 다 행하니라

(3) 금식기도

(4) 헌신의 결단

(롬 14:7-8, 개역) [7] 우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다 [8] 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로라

(롬 14:7-8, NKJV) [7] For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. [8] For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.

 

(고후 5:14-15, 개역) [14] 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라 [15] 저가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 산 자들로 하여금 다시는 저희 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 저희를 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 사신 자를 위하여 살게 하려 함이니라

(고후 5:14-15, NKJV) [14] For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus： that if One died for all, then all died; [15] and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

 

(5) 진리의 말씀에 굳게 서라

(엡 6:14, 개역) 그런즉 서서 진리로 너희 허리띠를 띠고 의의 흉배를 붙이고

(Eph 6:14, NKJV) Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

 

(요 17:17, 개역) 저희를 진리로 거룩하게 하옵소서 아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다

(Jn 17:17, NKJV) "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

 

(엡 1:13, 개역) 그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니

(Eph 1:13, NKJV) In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

 

(딤후 2:15, 개역) 네가 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분변하여 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라

(2Tm 2:15, NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

 

(6) 결단하라.

(단 1:8-9, 개역) [8] 다니엘은 뜻을 정하여 왕의 진미와 그의 마시는 포도주로 자기를 더럽히지 아니하리라 하고 자기를 더럽히지 않게 하기를 환관장에게 구하니 [9] 하나님이 다니엘로 환관장에게 은혜와 긍휼을 얻게 하신지라

(단 1:8-9, NKJV) [8] But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. [9] Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.

 

(7) 죽고자 하면 살게 됨

(마 16:23-28, 개역) [23] 예수께서 돌이키시며 베드로에게 이르시되 사단아 내 뒤로 물러가라 너는 나를 넘어지게 하는 자로다 네가 하나님의 일을 생각지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고 [24] 이에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라 [25] 누구든지 제 목숨을 구원코자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나를 위하여 제 목숨을 잃으면 찾으리라 [26] 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 제 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요 사람이 무엇을 주고 제 목숨을 바꾸겠느냐 [27] 인자가 아버지의 영광으로 그 천사들과 함께 오리니 그 때에 각 사람의 행한 대로 갚으리라 [28] 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 섰는 사람 중에 죽기 전에 인자가 그 왕권을 가지고 오는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라

(마 16:23-28, NKJV) [23] But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." [24] Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. [25] "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. [26] "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? [27] "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. [28] "Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

 

(8) 나라의 절반이라도

왕의 사랑을 받은 에스더

(더 5:5-6, 개역) [5] 왕이 가로되 에스더의 말한 대로 하도록 하만을 급히 부르라 하고 이에 왕이 하만과 함께 에스더의 베푼 잔치에 나아가니라 [6] 잔치의 술을 마실 때에 왕이 에스더에게 이르되 그대의 소청이 무엇이뇨 곧 허락하겠노라 그대의 요구가 무엇이뇨 나라의 절반이라 할지라도 시행하겠노라

(더 5:5-6, NKJV) [5] Then the king said, "Bring Haman quickly, that he may do as Esther has said." So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther had prepared. [6] At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, "What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!"

 

(계 1:5-6, 개역) [5] 또 충성된 증인으로 죽은 자들 가운데서 먼저 나시고 땅의 임금들의 머리가 되신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라 우리를 사랑하사 그의 피로 우리 죄에서 우리를 해방하시고 [6] 그 아버지 하나님을 위하여 우리를 나라와 제사장으로 삼으신 그에게 영광과 능력이 세세토록 있기를 원하노라 아멘

(계 1:5-6, NKJV) [5] and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, [6] and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

 

(9) 주님을 위해 살아야

(빌 1:18-21, 개역) [18] 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라 [19] 이것이 너희 간구와 예수 그리스도의 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할 줄 아는 고로 [20] 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니 [21] 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라

(빌 1:18-21, NKJV) [18] What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. [19] For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, [20] according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. [21] For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

 

(10) 주님의 몸된 교회를 섬겨라

(마 16:18, 개역) 또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라

(Mt 16:18, NKJV) "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

 

(고전 14:12, 개역) 그러면 너희도 신령한 것을 사모하는 자인즉 교회의 덕 세우기를 위하여 풍성하기를 구하라

(1Co 14:12, NKJV) Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.

 

(엡 5:22-33, 개역) [22] 아내들이여 자기 남편에게 복종하기를 주께 하듯 하라 [23] 이는 남편이 아내의 머리 됨이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리 됨과 같음이니 그가 친히 몸의 구주시니라 [24] 그러나 교회가 그리스도에게 하듯 아내들도 범사에 그 남편에게 복종할지니라 [25] 남편들아 아내 사랑하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 사랑하시고 위하여 자신을 주심 같이 하라 [26] 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고 [27] 자기 앞에 영광스러운 교회로 세우사 티나 주름잡힌 것이나 이런 것들이 없이 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하려 하심이니라 [28] 이와 같이 남편들도 자기 아내 사랑하기를 제 몸 같이 할지니 자기 아내를 사랑하는 자는 자기를 사랑하는 것이라 [29] 누구든지 언제든지 제 육체를 미워하지 않고 오직 양육하여 보호하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 보양함과 같이 하나니 [30] 우리는 그 몸의 지체임이니라 [31] 이러므로 사람이 부모를 떠나 그 아내와 합하여 그 둘이 한 육체가 될지니 [32] 이 비밀이 크도다 내가 그리스도와 교회에 대하여 말하노라 [33] 그러나 너희도 각각 자기의 아내 사랑하기를 자기 같이 하고 아내도 그 남편을 경외하라

(엡 5:22-33, NKJV) [22] Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. [23] For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. [24] Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. [25] Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, [26] that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, [27] that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. [28] So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. [29] For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. [30] For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. [31] "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." [32] This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. [33] Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

(Col 1:24, NKJV) I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,

 

(계 1:13-16, 개역) [13] 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고 [14] 그 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 [15] 그의 발은 풀무에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물소리와 같으며 [16] 그 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은 해가 힘있게 비취는 것 같더라

(계 1:13-16, NKJV) [13] and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. [14] His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; [15] His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; [16] He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

 

6. 장대에 달린 하만.

(1) 잠들지 못하는 왕

(더 6:1, 개역) 이 밤에 왕이 잠이 오지 아니하므로 명하여 역대 일기를 가져다가 자기 앞에서 읽히더니

(Est 6:1, NKJV) That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

 

(2) 모르드개의 선행이 발견됨

(더 6:1-3, 개역) [1] 이 밤에 왕이 잠이 오지 아니하므로 명하여 역대 일기를 가져다가 자기 앞에서 읽히더니 [2] 그 속에 기록하기를 문 지킨 왕의 두 내시 빅다나와 데레스가 아하수에로 왕을 모살하려 하는 것을 모르드개가 고발하였다 하였는지라 [3] 왕이 가로되 이 일을 인하여 무슨 존귀와 관작을 모르드개에게 베풀었느냐 시신이 대답하되 아무 것도 베풀지 아니하였나이다

(더 6:1-3, NKJV) [1] That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. [2] And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. [3] Then the king said, "What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?" And the king's servants who attended him said, "Nothing has been done for him."

 

(3) 모르드개에게 상주기로

(더 6:6-9, 개역) [6] 하만이 들어오거늘 왕이 묻되 왕이 존귀케 하기를 기뻐하는 사람에게 어떻게 하여야 하겠느뇨 하만이 심중에 이르되 왕이 존귀케 하기를 기뻐하시는 자는 나 외에 누구리요 하고 [7] 왕께 아뢰되 왕께서 사람을 존귀케 하시려면 [8] 왕의 입으시는 왕복과 왕의 타시는 말과 머리에 쓰시는 왕관을 취하고 [9] 그 왕복과 말을 왕의 방백 중 가장 존귀한 자의 손에 붙여서 왕이 존귀케 하시기를 기뻐하시는 사람에게 옷을 입히고 말을 태워서 성중 거리로 다니며 그 앞에서 반포하여 이르기를 왕이 존귀케 하기를 기뻐하시는 사람에게는 이같이 할 것이라 하게 하소서

(더 6:6-9, NKJV) [6] So Haman came in, and the king asked him, "What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?" Now Haman thought in his heart, "Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?" [7] And Haman answered the king, "For the man whom the king delights to honor, [8] "let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. [9] "Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him： 'Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!'"

 

(4) 숨어 역사하시는 하나님

(사 45:15-17, 개역) [15] 구원자 이스라엘의 하나님이여 진실로 주는 스스로 숨어 계시는 하나님이시니이다 [16] 우상을 만드는 자는 부끄러움을 당하며 욕을 받아 다 함께 수욕 중에 들어갈 것이로되 [17] 이스라엘은 여호와께 구원을 입어 영원한 구원을 얻으리니 영세에 부끄러움을 당하거나 욕을 받지 아니하리로다

(사 45:15-17, NKJV) [15] Truly You are God, who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior! [16] They shall be ashamed And also disgraced, all of them; They shall go in confusion together, Who are makers of idols. [17] But Israel shall be saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever.

 

(시 10:1-6, 개역) [1] 여호와여 어찌하여 멀리 서시며 어찌하여 환난 때에 숨으시나이까 [2] 악한 자가 교만하여 가련한 자를 심히 군박하오니 저희로 자기의 베푼 꾀에 빠지게 하소서 [3] 악인은 그 마음의 소욕을 자랑하며 탐리하는 자는 여호와를 배반하여 멸시하나이다 [4] 악인은 그 교만한 얼굴로 말하기를 여호와께서 이를 감찰치 아니하신다 하며 그 모든 사상에 하나님이 없다 하나이다 [5] 저의 길은 언제든지 견고하고 주의 심판은 높아서 저의 안력이 미치지 못하오며 저는 그 모든 대적을 멸시하며 [6] 그 마음에 이르기를 나는 요동치 아니하며 대대로 환난을 당치 아니하리라 하나이다

(시 10:1-6, NKJV) [1] Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble? [2] The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised. [3] For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD. [4] The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. [5] His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he sneers at them. [6] He has said in his heart, "I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity."

(7) 모르드개를 높이라는 왕의 명령

(더 6:8-10, 개역) [8] 왕의 입으시는 왕복과 왕의 타시는 말과 머리에 쓰시는 왕관을 취하고 [9] 그 왕복과 말을 왕의 방백 중 가장 존귀한 자의 손에 붙여서 왕이 존귀케 하시기를 기뻐하시는 사람에게 옷을 입히고 말을 태워서 성중 거리로 다니며 그 앞에서 반포하여 이르기를 왕이 존귀케 하기를 기뻐하시는 사람에게는 이같이 할 것이라 하게 하소서 [10] 이에 왕이 하만에게 이르되 너는 네 말대로 속히 왕복과 말을 취하여 대궐 문에 앉은 유다 사람 모르드개에게 행하되 무릇 네가 말한 것에서 조금도 빠짐이 없이 하라

(더 6:8-10, NKJV) [8] "let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. [9] "Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him： 'Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!'" [10] Then the king said to Haman, "Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king's gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken."

 

(8) 정체가 드러난 하만

(더 7:3-8, 개역) [3] 왕후 에스더가 대답하여 가로되 왕이여 내가 만일 왕의 목전에서 은혜를 입었으며 왕이 선히 여기시거든 내 소청대로 내 생명을 내게 주시고 내 요구대로 내 민족을 내게 주소서 [4] 나와 내 민족이 팔려서 죽임과 도륙함과 진멸함을 당하게 되었나이다 만일 우리가 노비로 팔렸더면 내가 잠잠하였으리이다 그래도 대적이 왕의 손해를 보충하지 못하였으리이다 [5] 아하수에로 왕이 왕후 에스더에게 일러 가로되 감히 이런 일을 심중에 품은 자가 누구며 그가 어디 있느뇨 [6] 에스더가 가로되 대적과 원수는 이 악한 하만이니이다 하니 하만이 왕과 왕후 앞에서 두려워하거늘 [7] 왕이 노하여 일어나서 잔치 자리를 떠나 왕궁 후원으로 들어가니라 하만이 일어서서 왕후 에스더에게 생명을 구하니 이는 왕이 자기에게 화를 내리기로 결심한 줄 앎이더라 [8] 왕이 후원으로부터 잔치 자리에 돌아오니 하만이 에스더의 앉은 걸상 위에 엎드렸거늘 왕이 가로되 저가 궁중 내 앞에서 왕후를 강간까지 하고자 하는가 이 말이 왕의 입에서 나오매 무리가 하만의 얼굴을 싸더라

(더 7:3-8, NKJV) [3] Then Queen Esther answered and said, "If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. [4] "For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king's loss." [5] So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, "Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?" [6] And Esther said, "The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!" So Haman was terrified before the king and queen. [7] Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. [8] When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, "Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?" As the word left the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

 

(9) 죽임당한 하만

(더 7:9-10, 개역) [9] 왕을 모신 내시 중에 하르보나가 왕에게 아뢰되 왕을 위하여 충성된 말로 고발한 모르드개를 달고자 하여 하만이 고가 오십 규빗 되는 나무를 준비하였는데 이제 그 나무가 하만의 집에 섰나이다 왕이 가로되 하만을 그 나무에 달라 하매 [10] 모르드개를 달고자 한 나무에 하만을 다니 왕의 노가 그치니라

(더 7:9-10, NKJV) [9] Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, "Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king's behalf, is standing at the house of Haman." Then the king said, "Hang him on it!" [10] So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath subsided.

 

(10) 이스라엘에게 원수들을 죽일수 있도록 하는 왕의조서

(더 8:14-16, 개역) [14] 왕의 명이 심히 급하매 역졸이 왕의 일에 쓰는 준마를 타고 빨리 나가고 그 조서가 도성 수산에도 반포되니라 [15] 모르드개가 푸르고 흰 조복을 입고 큰 금면류관을 쓰고 자색 가는 베 겉옷을 입고 왕의 앞에서 나오니 수산 성이 즐거이 부르며 기뻐하고 [16] 유다인에게는 영광과 즐거움과 기쁨과 존귀함이 있는지라

(더 8:14-16, NKJV) [14] The couriers who rode on royal horses went out, hastened and pressed on by the king's command. And the decree was issued in Shushan the citadel. [15] So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. [16] The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor.

 

(11) 십자가의 역설과 역전

(고전 1:18-21, 개역) [18] 십자가의 도가 멸망하는 자들에게는 미련한 것이요 구원을 얻는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이라 [19] 기록된 바 내가 지혜 있는 자들의 지혜를 멸하고 총명한 자들의 총명을 폐하리라 하였으니 [20] 지혜 있는 자가 어디 있느뇨 선비가 어디 있느뇨 이 세대에 변사가 어디 있느뇨 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 미련케 하신 것이 아니뇨 [21] 하나님의 지혜에 있어서는 이 세상이 자기 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못하는 고로 하나님께서 전도의 미련한 것으로 믿는 자들을 구원하시기를 기뻐하셨도다

(고전 1:18-21, NKJV) [18] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. [19] For it is written： "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." [20] Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [21] For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

 

(골 2:14-15, 개역) [14] 우리를 거스리고 우리를 대적하는 의문에 쓴 증서를 도말하시고 제하여 버리사 십자가에 못 박으시고 [15] 정사와 권세를 벗어버려 밝히 드러내시고 십자가로 승리하셨느니라

(골 2:14-15, NKJV) [14] having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. [15] Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

 

(12) 높임을 받은 모르드개

(빌 2:9-11, 개역) [9] 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 [10] 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 [11] 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라

(빌 2:9-11, NKJV) [9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

 

(마 28:18, 개역) 예수께서 나아와 일러 가라사대 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 내게 주셨으니

(Mt 28:18, NKJV) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

 

7. 이스라엘의 복수와 잔치.

(1) 부림절을 지켜라

(더 9:21-23, 개역) [21] 한 규례를 세워 해마다 아달월 십사일과 십오일을 지키라 [22] 이 달 이 날에 유다인이 대적에게서 벗어나서 평안함을 얻어 슬픔이 변하여 기쁨이 되고 애통이 변하여 길한 날이 되었으니 이 두 날을 지켜 잔치를 베풀고 즐기며 서로 예물을 주며 가난한 자를 구제하라 하매 [23] 유다인이 자기들의 이미 시작한 대로 또는 모르드개의 보낸 글대로 계속하여 행하였으니

(더 9:21-23, NKJV) [21] to establish among them that they should celebrate yearly the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar, [22] as the days on which the Jews had rest from their enemies, as the month which was turned from sorrow to joy for them, and from mourning to a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and joy, of sending presents to one another and gifts to the poor. [23] So the Jews accepted the custom which they had begun, as Mordecai had written to them,

 

(2) 슬픈날이 변하여 기쁨이

(더 9:21-23, NKJV) [21] to establish among them that they should celebrate yearly the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar, [22] as the days on which the Jews had rest from their enemies, as the month which was turned from sorrow to joy for them, and from mourning to a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and joy, of sending presents to one another and gifts to the poor. [23] So the Jews accepted the custom which they had begun, as Mordecai had written to them,

 

(3) 세상 멸망

(계 18:1-5, 개역) [1] 이 일 후에 다른 천사가 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보니 큰 권세를 가졌는데 그의 영광으로 땅이 환하여지더라 [2] 힘센 음성으로 외쳐 가로되 무너졌도다 무너졌도다 큰 성 바벨론이여 귀신의 처소와 각종 더러운 영의 모이는 곳과 각종 더럽고 가증한 새의 모이는 곳이 되었도다 [3] 그 음행의 진노의 포도주를 인하여 만국이 무너졌으며 또 땅의 왕들이 그로 더불어 음행하였으며 땅의 상고들도 그 사치의 세력을 인하여 치부하였도다 하더라 [4] 또 내가 들으니 하늘로서 다른 음성이 나서 가로되 내 백성아, 거기서 나와 그의 죄에 참예하지 말고 그의 받을 재앙들을 받지 말라 [5] 그 죄는 하늘에 사무쳤으며 하나님은 그의 불의한 일을 기억하신지라

(계 18:1-5, NKJV) [1] After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. [2] And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! [3] "For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury." [4] And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. [5] "For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

 

(4) 어린양의 혼인잔치

(계 19:6-8, 개역) [6] 또 내가 들으니 허다한 무리의 음성도 같고 많은 물소리도 같고 큰 뇌성도 같아서 가로되 할렐루야 주 우리 하나님 곧 전능하신 이가 통치하시도다 [7] 우리가 즐거워하고 크게 기뻐하여 그에게 영광을 돌리세 어린 양의 혼인 기약이 이르렀고 그 아내가 예비하였으니 [8] 그에게 허락하사 빛나고 깨끗한 세마포를 입게 하셨은즉 이 세마포는 성도들의 옳은 행실이로다 하더라

(계 19:6-8, NKJV) [6] And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! [7] "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." [8] And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

 

(5) 천국은 잔치집

(마 22:1-5, 개역) [1] 예수께서 다시 비유로 대답하여 가라사대 [2] 천국은 마치 자기 아들을 위하여 혼인 잔치를 베푼 어떤 임금과 같으니 [3] 그 종들을 보내어 그 청한 사람들을 혼인 잔치에 오라 하였더니 오기를 싫어하거늘 [4] 다시 다른 종들을 보내며 가로되 청한 사람들에게 이르기를 내가 오찬을 준비하되 나의 소와 살진 짐승을 잡고 모든 것을 갖추었으니 혼인 잔치에 오소서 하라 하였더니 [5] 저희가 돌아보지도 않고 하나는 자기 밭으로, 하나는 자기 상업차로 가고

(마 22:1-5, NKJV) [1] And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said： [2] "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, [3] "and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. [4] "Again, he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding."' [5] "But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.

 

(6) 진리에 굳게 서라

(딤전 3:15, 개역) 만일 내가 지체하면 너로 하나님의 집에서 어떻게 행하여야 할 것을 알게 하려 함이니 이 집은 살아계신 하나님의 교회요 진리의 기둥과 터이니라

(1Tm 3:15, NKJV) but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

 

(요 14:6, 개역) 예수께서 가라사대 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라

(Jn 14:6, NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

(딤후 2:15, 개역) 네가 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분변하여 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라

(2Tm 2:15, NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

 

(약 1:18, 개역) 그가 그 조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 좇아 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라

(Jms 1:18, NKJV) Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

 

(벧후 1:12, 개역) 이러므로 너희가 이것을 알고 이미 있는 진리에 섰으나 내가 항상 너희로 생각하게 하려 하노라

(2Pt 1:12, NKJV) For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.

 

(요 1:14, 개역) 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라

(Jn 1:14, NKJV) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

 

(요 1:17-18, 개역) [17] 율법은 모세로 말미암아 주신 것이요 은혜와 진리는 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 온 것이라 [18] 본래 하나님을 본 사람이 없으되 아버지 품 속에 있는 독생하신 하나님이 나타내셨느니라

(요 1:17-18, NKJV) [17] For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. [18] No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

 

(7) 역전의 사람들

(고후 4:7-10, 개역) [7] 우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 능력의 심히 큰 것이 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라 [8] 우리가 사방으로 우겨쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 아니하며 답답한 일을 당하여도 낙심하지 아니하며 [9] 핍박을 받아도 버린 바 되지 아니하며 거꾸러뜨림을 당하여도 망하지 아니하고 [10] 우리가 항상 예수 죽인 것을 몸에 짊어짐은 예수의 생명도 우리 몸에 나타나게 하려 함이라

(고후 4:7-10, NKJV) [7] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. [8] We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- [10] always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

 

(8) 역설의 사람들

(고후 6:8-10, 개역) [8] 영광과 욕됨으로 말미암으며 악한 이름과 아름다운 이름으로 말미암으며 속이는 자 같으나 참되고 [9] 무명한 자 같으나 유명한 자요 죽는 자 같으나 보라 우리가 살고 징계를 받는 자 같으나 죽임을 당하지 아니하고 [10] 근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다

(고후 6:8-10, NKJV) [8] by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; [9] as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; [10] as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

 

(9) 승리의 사람들

(계 7:7-10, 개역) [7] 시므온 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 레위 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 잇사갈 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 [8] 스블론 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 요셉 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 베냐민 지파 중에 인 맞은 자가 일만 이천이라 [9] 이 일 후에 내가 보니 각 나라와 족속과 백성과 방언에서 아무라도 능히 셀 수 없는 큰 무리가 흰 옷을 입고 손에 종려 가지를 들고 보좌 앞과 어린 양 앞에 서서 [10] 큰 소리로 외쳐 가로되 구원하심이 보좌에 앉으신 우리 하나님과 어린 양에게 있도다 하니

(계 7:7-10, NKJV) [7] of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed; [8] of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed. [9] After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, [10] and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

 

(10) 합력하여 선을 이루심

(롬 8:28, 개역) 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라

(Rm 8:28, NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

 

(11) 최후의 승리

(계 21:1-8, 개역) [1] 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 [2] 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 예비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 [3] 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 가로되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 저희와 함께 거하시리니 저희는 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 저희와 함께 계셔서 [4] 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 씻기시매 다시 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라 [5] 보좌에 앉으신 이가 가라사대 보라 내가 만물을 새롭게 하노라 하시고 또 가라사대 이 말은 신실하고 참되니 기록하라 하시고 [6] 또 내게 말씀하시되 이루었도다 나는 알파와 오메가요 처음과 나중이라 내가 생명수 샘물로 목마른 자에게 값없이 주리니 [7] 이기는 자는 이것들을 유업으로 얻으리라 나는 저의 하나님이 되고 그는 내 아들이 되리라 [8] 그러나 두려워하는 자들과 믿지 아니하는 자들과 흉악한 자들과 살인자들과 행음자들과 술객들과 우상 숭배자들과 모든 거짓말하는 자들은 불과 유황으로 타는 못에 참예하리니 이것이 둘째 사망이라

(계 21:1-8, NKJV) [1] Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [2] Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. [4] "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." [5] Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." [6] And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. [7] "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. [8] "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

 

(12) 신원의 날

(살후 1:6-9, 개역) [6] 너희로 환난 받게 하는 자들에게는 환난으로 갚으시고 [7] 환난 받는 너희에게는 우리와 함께 안식으로 갚으시는 것이 하나님의 공의시니 주 예수께서 저의 능력의 천사들과 함께 하늘로부터 불꽃 중에 나타나실 때에 [8] 하나님을 모르는 자들과 우리 주 예수의 복음을 복종치 않는 자들에게 형벌을 주시리니 [9] 이런 자들이 주의 얼굴과 그의 힘의 영광을 떠나 영원한 멸망의 형벌을 받으리로다

(살후 1:6-9, NKJV) [6] since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, [7] and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, [8] in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

 

(13) 순교자들의 기도응답

(계 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 다섯째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 보니 하나님의 말씀과 저희의 가진 증거를 인하여 죽임을 당한 영혼들이 제단 아래 있어 [10] 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 대주재여 땅에 거하는 자들을 심판하여 우리 피를 신원하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니 [11] 각각 저희에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 가라사대 아직 잠시 동안 쉬되 저희 동무 종들과 형제들도 자기처럼 죽임을 받아 그 수가 차기까지 하라 하시더라

(계 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" [11] Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

 

(14) 살아계신 하나님

(사 45:5-7, 개역) [5] 나는 여호와라 나 외에 다른 이가 없나니 나 밖에 신이 없느니라 너는 나를 알지 못하였을지라도 나는 네 띠를 동일 것이요 [6] 해 뜨는 곳에서든지 지는 곳에서든지 나 밖에 다른 이가 없는 줄을 무리로 알게 하리라 나는 여호와라 다른 이가 없느니라 [7] 나는 빛도 짓고 어두움도 창조하며 나는 평안도 짓고 환난도 창조하나니 나는 여호와라 이 모든 일을 행하는 자니라 하였노라

(사 45:5-7, NKJV) [5] I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, [6] That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; [7] I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.'

 

(사 46:8-11, 개역) [8] 너희 패역한 자들아 이 일을 기억하고 장부가 되라 이 일을 다시 생각하라 [9] 너희는 옛적 일을 기억하라 나는 하나님이라 나 외에 다른 이가 없느니라 나는 하나님이라 나 같은 이가 없느니라 [10] 내가 종말을 처음부터 고하며 아직 이루지 아니한 일을 옛적부터 보이고 이르기를 나의 모략이 설 것이니 내가 나의 모든 기뻐하는 것을 이루리라 하였노라 [11] 내가 동방에서 독수리를 부르며 먼 나라에서 나의 모략을 이룰 사람을 부를 것이라 내가 말하였은즉 정녕 이룰 것이요 경영하였은즉 정녕 행하리라

(사 46:8-11, NKJV) [8] "Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors. [9] Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,' [11] Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.

우리는 숨어 역사하시는 살아계신 하나님을 발견합니다.

우리가 매일매일 최선을 다하여 주님을 섬길 때 살아계신 하나님이 보고 계시고 알고 계십니다. 잊지 아니하십니다.

우리들의 충성과 헌신을 잊지 아니하십니다.

우리는 주님을 향한 절개를 지켜야 합니다.

죽으면 죽으리라 결단을 해야할 때 비겁하지 말아야 합니다.

성령님의 인도하심을 따라야 합니다.

기도로 믿음으로 기도해야 합니다.

하나님은 우주의 통치자 이십니다.

우리는 십자가의 역설을 배웠습니다.

죽음으로 승리하신 우리 주님이십니다.

마귀는 이미 패배하였습니다.

우리가 죽고자하면 살게 됩니다.
