<위대하신 하나님>

(대상 29:10-17, 개역) [10] 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 가로되 우리 조상 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주는 영원히 송축을 받으시옵소서 [11] 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다 [12] 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다 [13] 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다 [14] 나와 나의 백성이 무엇이관대 이처럼 즐거운 마음으로 드릴 힘이 있었나이까 모든 것이 주께로 말미암았사오니 우리가 주의 손에서 받은 것으로 주께 드렸을 뿐이니이다 [15] 주 앞에서는 우리가 우리 열조와 다름이 없이 나그네와 우거한 자라 세상에 있는 날이 그림자 같아서 머무름이 없나이다 [16] 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리가 주의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하려고 미리 저축한 이 모든 물건이 다 주의 손에서 왔사오니 다 주의 것이니이다 [17] 나의 하나님이여 주께서 마음을 감찰하시고 정직을 기뻐하시는 줄 내가 아나이다 내가 정직한 마음으로 이 모든 것을 즐거이 드렸사오며 이제 내가 또 여기 있는 주의 백성이 주께 즐거이 드리는 것을 보오니 심히 기쁘도소이다

(대상 29:10-17, NKJV) [10] Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said： "Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. [11] Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. [12] Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. [13] "Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. [14] But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You. [15] For we are aliens and pilgrims before You, As were all our fathers; Our days on earth are as a shadow, And without hope. [16] "O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own. [17] "I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

 

오늘은 하나님의 위대하심에 댜한 말씀을 가지고 은혜를 나눌려고 합니다.

하나님은 우리의 생각을 뛰어 넘는 분이십니다.

하나님을 어떻게 알수 있을까요?

물론 먼저 하나님이 계실까요 라는 질문이 먼저일것입니다.

하나님의 존재는 우주만물을 살펴 보면 분명한 답이 됩니다. 이 모든 것이 우연이요 저절로 되어진다는 것은 말도 않되는 주장입니다.

하나님을 우리는 우주만물을 보고 알수가 있고 성경말씀을 통하여 그리고 예수님을 통하여 알수가 있습니다. 그러나 직접적인 하나님을 아는 지식은 내안에 계신 성령님의 계시를 통하여 알게 됩니다.

우리 예수그리스도를 믿는 사람들은 하나님을 더 깊이 더 넓게 알기를 힘써야 합니다.

어떻게 보면 여러 가지 우리들의 문제는 하나님을 바로 알지 못하기 때문일수도 있습니다.

하나님을 알지 못하기에 사람들은 믿음이 떨어지고 두려워하며 염려합니다. 담대함이 없고 우상을 의지합니다. 죄에서 해방을 받지 못합니다.

하나님의 위대하심을 알 때 우리는 더욱 하나님을 사랑하게 되고 최고의 경배와 찬송을 드리게 됩니다.

결국 우리가 하나님을 알면 알수록 우리는 하나님과의 깊은 사랑의 관계에 빠져 들어가며 자유함과 기쁨과 최고의 행복을 가져다 줍니다.

오늘 말씀을 통하여 하나님을 더욱 갈망하고 알기를 힘씀으로 더욱 큰 자유함과 담대함과 기쁨 가운데 살아가는 복된 우리 모두가 될수 있기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.

 

1. 하나님의 위대하심을 아는 것의 중요성

(1) 용맹을 발함

(단 11:31-33, 개역) [31] 군대는 그의 편에 서서 성소 곧 견고한 곳을 더럽히며 매일 드리는 제사를 폐하며 멸망케 하는 미운 물건을 세울 것이며 [32] 그가 또 언약을 배반하고 악행하는 자를 궤휼로 타락시킬 것이나 오직 자기의 하나님을 아는 백성은 강하여 용맹을 발하리라 [33] 백성 중에 지혜로운 자가 많은 사람을 가르칠 것이나 그들이 칼날과 불꽃과 사로잡힘과 약탈을 당하여 여러 날 동안 쇠패하리라

(단 11:31-33, NKJV) [31] "And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. [32] "Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. [33] "And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering.

 

(2) 망하지 않음

(호 4:6, 개역) 내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다 네가 지식을 버렸으니 나도 너를 버려 내 제사장이 되지 못하게 할 것이요 네가 네 하나님의 율법을 잊었으니 나도 네 자녀들을 잊어버리리라

(Hs 4:6, NKJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

 

(3) 낙심 않음

(사 40:27-31, 개역) [27] 야곱아 네가 어찌하여 말하며 이스라엘아 네가 어찌하여 이르기를 내 사정은 여호와께 숨겨졌으며 원통한 것은 내 하나님에게서 수리하심을 받지 못한다 하느냐 [28] 너는 알지 못하였느냐 듣지 못하였느냐 영원하신 하나님 여호와, 땅 끝까지 창조하신 자는 피곤치 아니하시며 곤비치 아니하시며 명철이 한이 없으시며 [29] 피곤한 자에게는 능력을 주시며 무능한 자에게는 힘을 더하시나니 [30] 소년이라도 피곤하며 곤비하며 장정이라도 넘어지며 자빠지되 [31] 오직 여호와를 앙망하는 자는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리의 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요 달음박질하여도 곤비치 아니하겠고 걸어가도 피곤치 아니하리로다

(사 40:27-31, NKJV) [27] Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel： "My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God"? [28] Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. [29] He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, [31] But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

 

(4) 아는 일에 힘쓰라

(엡 4:13, 개역) 우리가 다 하나님의 아들을 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 온전한 사람을 이루어 그리스도의 장성한 분량이 충만한 데까지 이르리니

(Eph 4:13, NKJV) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

 

(5) 바라보라

(히 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며 [2] 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 [3] 너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라

(히 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

 

(6) 두려워하지 않음

(사 41:10, 개역) 두려워 말라 내가 너와 함께 함이니라 놀라지 말라 나는 네 하나님이 됨이니라 내가 너를 굳세게 하리라 참으로 너를 도와주리라 참으로 나의 의로운 오른손으로 너를 붙들리라

(Is 41:10, NKJV) Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

 

(7) 순교할 수 있음

(단 3:16-18, 개역) [16] 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 왕에게 대답하여 가로되 느부갓네살이여 우리가 이 일에 대하여 왕에게 대답할 필요가 없나이다 [17] 만일 그럴 것이면 왕이여 우리가 섬기는 우리 하나님이 우리를 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데서 능히 건져 내시겠고 왕의 손에서도 건져내시리이다 [18] 그리 아니하실지라도 왕이여 우리가 왕의 신들을 섬기지도 아니하고 왕의 세우신 금 신상에게 절하지도 아니할 줄을 아옵소서

(단 3:16-18, NKJV) [16] Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. [17] "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. [18] "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

 

(계 6:9-11, 개역) [9] 다섯째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 보니 하나님의 말씀과 저희의 가진 증거를 인하여 죽임을 당한 영혼들이 제단 아래 있어 [10] 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 대주재여 땅에 거하는 자들을 심판하여 우리 피를 신원하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니 [11] 각각 저희에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 가라사대 아직 잠시 동안 쉬되 저희 동무 종들과 형제들도 자기처럼 죽임을 받아 그 수가 차기까지 하라 하시더라

(계 6:9-11, NKJV) [9] When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" [11] Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

 

(계 2:10, 개역) 네가 장차 받을 고난을 두려워 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데서 몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가 죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 면류관을 네게 주리라

(Rv 2:10, NKJV) "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

 

(8) 은혜와 축복을 누림

(벧후 1:2, 개역) 하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다

(2Pt 1:2, NKJV) Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

 

(9) 이웃을 사랑하게 됨

(마 5:43-48, 개역) [43] 또 네 이웃을 사랑하고 네 원수를 미워하라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나 [44] 나는 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 핍박하는 자를 위하여 기도하라 [45] 이같이 한즉 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 아들이 되리니 이는 하나님이 그 해를 악인과 선인에게 비취게 하시며 비를 의로운 자와 불의한 자에게 내리우심이니라 [46] 너희가 너희를 사랑하는 자를 사랑하면 무슨 상이 있으리요 세리도 이같이 아니하느냐 [47] 또 너희가 너희 형제에게만 문안하면 남보다 더 하는 것이 무엇이냐 이방인들도 이같이 아니하느냐 [48] 그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라

(마 5:43-48, NKJV) [43] "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' [44] "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, [45] "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. [46] "For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? [47] "And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? [48] "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

 

(10) 하나님을 닮아감, 은혜와 평강을 소유함

(벧후 1:1-7, 개역) [1] 예수 그리스도의 종과 사도인 시몬 베드로는 우리 하나님과 구주 예수 그리스도의 의를 힘입어 동일하게 보배로운 믿음을 우리와 같이 받은 자들에게 편지하노니 [2] 하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다 [3] 그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 자를 앎으로 말미암음이라 [4] 이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희로 정욕을 인하여 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신의 성품에 참예하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨으니 [5] 이러므로 너희가 더욱 힘써 너희 믿음에 덕을, 덕에 지식을, [6] 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을, [7] 경건에 형제 우애를, 형제 우애에 사랑을 공급하라

(벧후 1:1-7, NKJV) [1] Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ： [2] Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, [3] as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, [4] by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [5] But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, [6] to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, [7] to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

 

(고후 3:14-18, 개역) [14] 그러나 저희 마음이 완고하여 오늘까지라도 구약을 읽을 때에 그 수건이 오히려 벗어지지 아니하고 있으니 그 수건은 그리스도 안에서 없어질 것이라 [15] 오늘까지 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 수건이 오히려 그 마음을 덮었도다 [16] 그러나 언제든지 주께로 돌아가면 그 수건이 벗어지리라 [17] 주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유함이 있느니라 [18] 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 저와 같은 형상으로 화하여 영광으로 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라

(고후 3:14-18, NKJV) [14] But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. [15] But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. [16] Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. [17] Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. [18] But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

 

(11) 우상을 멀리함

(사 1:2-5, 개역) [2] 하늘이여 들으라 땅이여 귀를 기울이라 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 내가 자식을 양육하였거늘 그들이 나를 거역하였도다 [3] 소는 그 임자를 알고 나귀는 주인의 구유를 알건마는 이스라엘은 알지 못하고 나의 백성은 깨닫지 못하는도다 하셨도다 [4] 슬프다 범죄한 나라요 허물진 백성이요 행악의 종자요 행위가 부패한 자식이로다 그들이 여호와를 버리며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자를 만홀히 여겨 멀리하고 물러갔도다 [5] 너희가 어찌하여 매를 더 맞으려고 더욱 더욱 패역하느냐 온 머리는 병들었고 온 마음은 피곤하였으며

(사 1:2-5, NKJV) [2] Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the LORD has spoken： "I have nourished and brought up children, And they have rebelled against Me; [3] The ox knows its owner And the donkey its master's crib; But Israel does not know, My people do not consider." [4] Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the LORD, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward. [5] Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick, And the whole heart faints.

 

2. 하나님의 위대하심을 어떻게 알수 있을 까요?

(1) 비교할 수 없는분

(시 89:5-9, 개역) [5] 여호와여 주의 기사를 하늘이 찬양할 것이요 주의 성실도 거룩한 자의 회중에서 찬양하리이다 [6] 대저 궁창에서 능히 여호와와 비교할 자 누구며 권능 있는 자 중에 여호와와 같은 자 누구리이까 [7] 하나님은 거룩한 자의 회중에서 심히 엄위하시오며 둘러 있는 모든 자 위에 더욱 두려워할 자시니이다 [8] 여호와 만군의 하나님이여 주와 같이 능한 자 누구리이까 여호와여 주의 성실하심이 주를 둘렀나이다 [9] 주께서 바다의 흉용함을 다스리시며 그 파도가 일어날 때에 평정케 하시나이다

(시 89:5-9, NKJV) [5] And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints. [6] For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD? [7] God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him. [8] O LORD God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. [9] You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.

 

(사 46:5-7, 개역) [5] 너희가 나를 누구에 비기며 누구와 짝하며 누구와 비교하여 서로 같다 하겠느냐 [6] 사람들이 주머니에서 금을 쏟아 내며 은을 저울에 달아 장색에게 주고 그것으로 신을 만들게 하고 그것에게 엎드려 경배하고 [7] 그것을 들어 어깨에 메어다가 그의 처소에 두면 그것이 서서 있고 거기서 능히 움직이지 못하며 그에게 부르짖어도 능히 응답지 못하며 고난에서 구하여 내지도 못하느니라

(사 46:5-7, NKJV) [5] "To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal And compare Me, that we should be alike? [6] They lavish gold out of the bag, And weigh silver on the scales; They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a god; They prostrate themselves, yes, they worship. [7] They bear it on the shoulder, they carry it And set it in its place, and it stands; From its place it shall not move. Though one cries out to it, yet it cannot answer Nor save him out of his trouble.

 

(2) 측량할 수 없는분

(욥 11:7, 개역) 네가 하나님의 오묘를 어찌 능히 측량하며 전능자를 어찌 능히 온전히 알겠느냐

(Jb 11:7, NKJV) "Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?

 

(시 145:1-4, 개역) [1] [다윗의 찬송시] 왕이신 나의 하나님이여 내가 주를 높이고 영원히 주의 이름을 송축하리이다 [2] 내가 날마다 주를 송축하며 영영히 주의 이름을 송축하리이다 [3] 여호와는 광대하시니 크게 찬양할 것이라 그의 광대하심을 측량치 못하리로다 [4] 대대로 주의 행사를 크게 칭송하며 주의 능한 일을 선포하리로다

(시 145:1-4, NKJV) [1] A Praise of David. I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. [2] Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. [3] Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. [4] One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.

 

(3) 성경 말씀을 통하여

(창 1:1-3, 개역) [1] 태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라 [2] 땅이 혼돈하고 공허하며 흑암이 깊음 위에 있고 하나님의 신은 수면에 운행하시니라 [3] 하나님이 가라사대 빛이 있으라 하시매 빛이 있었고

(창 1:1-3, NKJV) [1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [2] The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. [3] Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

 

(눅 24:27, 개역) 이에 모세와 및 모든 선지자의 글로 시작하여 모든 성경에 쓴 바 자기에 관한 것을 자세히 설명하시니라

(Lk 24:27, NKJV) And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

 

(눅 24:44, 개역) 또 이르시되 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 말한 바 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 하리라 한 말이 이것이라 하시고

(Lk 24:44, NKJV) Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me."

 

(시 8:1-3, 개역) [1] [다윗의 시, 영장으로 깃딧에 맞춘 노래] 여호와 우리 주여 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 아름다운지요 주의 영광을 하늘 위에 두셨나이다 [2] 주의 대적을 인하여 어린 아이와 젖먹이의 입으로 말미암아 권능을 세우심이여 이는 원수와 보수자로 잠잠케 하려 하심이니이다 [3] 주의 손가락으로 만드신 주의 하늘과 주의 베풀어 두신 달과 별들을 내가 보오니

(시 8:1-3, NKJV) [1] To the Chief Musician. On the instrument of Gath. A Psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! [2] Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. [3] When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

 

(4) 천지만물

3. 하나님의 거룩하심

(1) 거룩의 의미

카도쉬(형용사)는 '거룩한 holy, 신성한 sacred'를 의미한다.

구약성경에서 이 단어는 약 100회 나오며, '분리'나 '구별'이라는 개념이 강조되어 있다. 카도쉬는 본질적으로 거룩한 것, 또는 신적 의식이나 제의 행위에 의해 거룩한 영역에 속하게 된 것을 가리킨다. 구약에서 거룩한 것들은 도덕적 순결보다 범속한 것으로부터 분리, 곧 하나님을 섬기기 위해 보통 사용으로부터 분리하여 놓거나 따로 떼어 놓은 것들을 의미한다.

하나님은 본질적으로 거룩하시다. 그러므로 하나님은 자기 백성에게 "거룩하라"고 요구하면서 거룩함을 유지시킬 수 있는 순종의 표준을 제시하신다(레 19:26). 하나님은 거룩하시기 때문에 그에게는 인간이 공유한 도덕적 불완전성과 약점이 없으며(호 11:9), 자기 약속에 신실하심을 믿을 수 있다(시 22:3-5). 하나님의 속성이 가지는 이러한 양상이, 그의 백성은 멸망하지 않을 것이라는 하박국의 소망의 토대를 형성하고 있다: "선지가 가로되 여호와 나의 하나님, 나의 거룩한 자시여 주께서는 만세 전부터 계시지 아니하시니이까 우리가 사망에 이르지 아니하리이다 여호와여 주께서 심판하기 위하여 그를 두셨나이다 반석이시여 주께서 경계하기 위하여 그를 세우셨나이다"(합 1:12). 거룩하신 하나님이 죄를 묵인하다는 것은 상상할 수 없는 일이다. 그러한 관념은 거룩한 것과 속된 것의 혼합을 의미하며 성결의 본질을 파괴하는 것이다. 거룩하라는 부름은 일정한 규정의 부과를 수반하며, 이러한 규정은 믿는 자들의 지속적 성결을 유지시켜 주는 역할을 하였다(레 11:44-45, 레 19:2이하, 신 14:2, 신 14:21, 민 15:40).

성소의 제사장들은 소제물과 속죄제물 가운데 정해진 몫을 받아 거룩한 곳에서 먹는다(레 6:16, 레 6:26, 레 7:6).

하나님의 임재는 그 임재하는 곳을 거룩한 영역으로 만든다(신 23:14). 1. 고전 헬라어 문헌의 용법

 

형용사 하기오스는 어원이 분명치 않다. 이 단어는 하조마이(a{zomai)와 관련이 있다. 하조마이는 '~에 두려워하다, 움츠리다'('신이나 부모를 두려워하는 것, Homer, Il. 1, 21에서 아폴로를 두려워하는 것)와 '존경하다'(Aesch., Eumenides 1002에서는 제우스가 팔라스의 보호 아래 있는 사람들을 존경함을 나타내는데 사용되었다)를 의미한다. 은유적으로는 '그것은 나를 죽음의 공포로 채우지 않는다'(Eur., Orestes 1116)라는 표현에서 사용되었다. 부정적으로 쓰일 경우에는 '거룩한 분노로 채워지다'를 의미한다(Eur., Frag. 348). 하기조마이는 70인역본에나 신약성경에 나오지 않는다.

옛 헬라어 하기오스는 존경의 의미에서든 반감의 의미에서든 '두려움의 대상'을 의미한다. 그러나 금기(taboo)보다는 예배할 가치가 있는 거룩한 것을 더 강하게 시사한다. 그 후에 '사당'(shrine; Herodouts에서), '사람'(Aristoph)에 대해 사용되었고, 헬레니즘 시대에 이 단어는 '신들'이나 '신들을 묘사하는 수식어'로 사용되었다.

하기오스는 동방의 신들(이시스[Isis], 세라피스[Serapis], 바알[Baal] 등. TDNT Ⅰ89)을 묘사하는 수식어로 사용되었는데, 이로부터 헬라의 신들에 대해서도 적용하게 되었다.

 

2. 구약 및 70인역본의 용법

 

형용사 하기오스는 70인역본에서 약 800여회 나오며, 20개의 히브리어의 역어로 사용되었으며, 주로 코데쉬와 카도쉬를 번역했다.

70인역본에서 하기오스에 해당하는 이런 단어들은 '분리'나 '구별'이라는 개념이 강하다. 따라서 카도쉬는 본질적으로 거룩한 것, 또는 신적 의식이나 제의 행위에 의해 거룩한 영역에 속하게 된 것을 가리킨다. 구약에서 거룩한 것들은 도덕적 순결보다 범속한 것으로부터 분리, 곧 하나님을 섬기기 위해 보통 사용으로부터 분리하여 놓거나 따로 떼어 놓은 것들을 의미한다.

3. 신약성경의 용법

(a) 하나님의 거룩. 신약성경에서 거룩은 구약성경에 근거하여 물질적 요소는 인격적 요소에 크게 양보한다. 신약성경의 거룩은 하나님의 내적 본질의 묘사를 담고 있다. 그것은 전능, 영원, 영광을 포괄하며, 두려움을 불러 일으킨다.

 

① 계 6:10에서 순교자들은 하나님을 "거룩하고 참되신" 분이라고 부른다: "큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 대주재여 땅에 거하는 자들을 심판하여 우리 피를 신원하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니".

 

② 요 17:11에서도 하나님의 거룩은 "거룩하신 아버지"로 나타난다: "나는 세상에 더 있지 아니하오나 저희는 세상에 있사옵고 나는 아버지께로 가옵나니 거룩하신 아버지여 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 저희를 보전하사 우리와 같이 저희도 하나가 되게 하옵소서".

 

③ 벧전 1:15이하에도 하나님은 "거룩하신" 분으로 나타난다: "오직 너희를 부르신 거룩한 자처럼 너희도 모든 행실에 거룩한 자가 되라".

구약성경과 비교하면 하나님이 거룩하다고 묘사하는 경우가 매우 적다.

 

(b) 거룩하신 자(하기오스) 예수 그리스도. 예수 그리스도는 간혹 하기오스로 묘사되었으며 이 묘사는 잘 알려진 중요한 것이다.

 

① 누가복음에서 그것은 "성령"이 마리아에게 임하시고 "지극히 높으신 이의 능력"이 그녀를 덮으신 예수님의 기적적 탄생에 근거되어 있다(눅 1:35). 여기서 토 겐노메논("나실 바")과 관련된 하기온("거룩한 자")은 주어에 속하고 휘오스 데우("하나님의 아들")는 술어에 속한다. 토 겐노메논 하기온("나실 바 거룩한 자")은 새 생명의 초자연적 기원을 설명하며, 그 기원 때문에 그는 하나님의 아들로 불리운다. 그러므로 여기서 휘오스 데우 곧 하나님의 아들은 그리스도의 메시야적 직무에 근거하지 아니하고 그의 기원에 근거한다는 것이다. 마귀는 예수님을 "하나님의 거룩한 자"라고 부른다(막 1:24; 눅 4:34). 70인역본에서 이러한 칭호는 삿 13:7과 삿 16:17에만 나타나며, 이 표현의 지칭 인물이 거룩함으로 충만해 있다는 것을 의미한다.

 

② 요 6:69에서 예수님은 하나님의 거룩한 자로 고백 받는다: "우리가 주는 하나님의 거룩하신 자신 줄 믿고 알았삽나이다".

 

③ 요일 2:20에서 그리스도는 거룩하신 자로서 그를 믿는 자들에게 기름을 부어 주신다: "너희는 거룩하신 자에게서 기름 부음을 받고 모든 것을 아느니라".

 

④ 유사하게 계 3:7에서 그리스도는 거룩하고 진실하신 자로 나타난다: "빌라델비아 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 거룩하고 진실하사 다윗의 열쇠를 가지신 이 곧 열면 닫을 사람이 없고 닫으면 열 사람이 없는 그이가 가라사대".

이러한 구절에서 하기오스는 그리스도의 신성을 묘사하기 위해 사용되었다.

 

⑤ 사도행전에서 예수님은 하나님의 "거룩한 종"으로 불리운다(행 3:14; 행 4:27; 행 4:30). 예루살렘에 사는 사람들은, 그들이 과거에도 선지자들을 언제나 부인하고 죽였듯이 예수님을 거부하였다(행 7:51이하). 이 모든 경우에 있어서 거룩하다는 것은 하나님께 속하며 하나님으로부터 인정받았다라는 뜻이다. 그러므로 예수님에게 저항하는 것은 하나님께 저항하는 것과 똑같다.

 

(c) 거룩한 영(성령)

성령의 거룩은 그리스도의 거룩과 분리될 수 없다(참조: 행 2:17이하).

 

① 성령은 그리스도의 탄생과 특히 세례(침례) 받으실 때에 활동하셨다(마 1:18; 마 1:20; 눅 1:35; 마 3:11과 병행구). 이는 성령의 시대의 시작인 것이다.

요한은 그리스도는 성령의 세례(침례)를 베풀 것이라고 하였고(행 1:5), 부활 후에 그리스도는 제자들에게 성령을 부어주셨다(오순절, 행 2:4). 성령은 이제 나타나셨으며, 그러므로 거부는 용서받을 수 없다. 세례(침례)는 이제 성부와 성자, 그리고 성령의 이름으로 행해진다.

 

② 누가는 특히 한정적, 비한정적 형태 모두에서 프뉴마 하기온, "거룩한 영"(성령)이라는 어구를 즐겨 사용한다. 누가는 하나님의 영을 다른 영들과 구별하기를 원하며, 그 제의적 요소보다는 카리스마적인 요소를 강조한다.

 

③ 바울은 보다 더 인격적 강조를 하며, 제의적 측면을 지지하나 영적화한다. 예를 들어 거룩한 성전인 교회와 그리스도인 안에는 성령이 거하신다(엡 2:21; 고전 6:19; 참조: 롬 15:16; 고후 13:13; 살전 4:8). 세례(침례)와 성찬(고전 12:13)은 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활을 나누는 것(교제)을 의미하는 예배 공동체의 표시이다.

 

(d) 교회의 거룩. 구약성경에 근거하여 그리스도인은 거룩한 종인 그리스도를 중심에 모신 성령의 전으로서 거룩하다. 거룩한 백성들인 그리스도인들은 거룩해야 한다(벧전 2:9; 벧전 1:16). 그들은 그리스도로 말미암아 거룩하게 된다(고전 1:2).

그리스도 안에서 이방인들은 이제 성도들 중에 속한다(엡 2:19). 교회와 마찬가지로 교회들도 거룩하다(고전 14:33). 거룩은 본래부터가 아니라 그리스도 안에서 은총의 부르심으로 말미암는다(롬 1:6; 고전 1:24; 빌 1:1). 거룩한 백성은 하나님의 기업을 가진다(엡 1:18; 골 1:12; 참조: 신명기).

 

(e) 그리스도인의 거룩. 교회가 성전인 것처럼(고전 3:17; 엡 2:21) 그리스도인의 생활은 하나님께 거룩한 산 제사를 드리는 것이 되어야 한다(롬 12:1; 롬 15:16). 사랑으로서 서로 섬기는 것은 거룩을 나타내는 것이다(갈 5:13; 롬 15:25; 롬 16:2). 거룩한 입맞춤은 그것을 보증한다(고전 16:20). 그리스도 안에서 거룩하게 된 자는 그들의 가족 전체를 거룩하게 만든다(고전 7:14). 여기서의 거룩은 도덕적인 성격을 지니며, 불순, 특히 이방의 성적인 것과 대조되는 것이다(행 10:14; 엡 5:5). 거룩에 대한 제의적인 언급은 거룩을 단순한 도덕적인 것으로 되는 것을 막아준다.

끝으로 마지막 심판에서 거룩의 원리는 기준인 것이다(고전 6:2). 신자들은 심판할 것이다-이리하여 믿음은 그 자체가 거룩하다고 불리워질 수 있는 것이다(유 1:20).

 

(f) 교회의 승리.

① 거룩한 천사들은 승리를 거둔 교회에 속한다(막 8:38; 눅 9:26; 계 14:10; 유 1:14).

천사들은 그리스도와 함께 돌아올 것이다(살전 3:13). 그러나 이 구절은 세상을 떠난 성도들을 가리키거나 포함하는지도 모른다(살후 1:10).

 

② 그리스도인들은 성도로서 승리한 교회에 속한다(계 14:12; 계 17:6). 거룩한 자는 그대로 거룩하게 될 것이다(계 22:11).-그러나 스스로 거룩해진 것이 아니라 하나님에 의해 거룩해졌다. 거룩은 이미 하나님을 예배하는 자들인 그리스도인들의 중심 결의(central determnation)인데, 그리스도인들이 벌써 그리스도의 거룩한 제사로 말미암아 하나님과 화해되고 성령의 전이 된 것이다.

(2) 죄와 함께 못함

(수 24:19, 개역) 여호수아가 백성에게 이르되 너희가 여호와를 능히 섬기지 못할 것은 그는 거룩하신 하나님이시요 질투하는 하나님이시니 너희 허물과 죄를 사하지 아니하실 것임이라

(Jos 24:19, NKJV) But Joshua said to the people, "You cannot serve the LORD, for He is a holy God. He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

(3) 타락할 수 없는 분

(4) 소멸하는 불

(11) 스스로 계신분

(출 3:13-14, 개역) [13] 모세가 하나님께 고하되 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 가서 이르기를 너희 조상의 하나님이 나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하면 그들이 내게 묻기를 그의 이름이 무엇이냐 하리니 내가 무엇이라고 그들에게 말하리이까 [14] 하나님이 모세에게 이르시되 나는 스스로 있는 자니라 또 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 이르기를 스스로 있는 자가 나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하라

(출 3:13-14, NKJV) [13] Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" [14] And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

 

4. 하나님의 위대한 성품

(1) 사랑과 긍휼의 하나님

(요일 4:7-11, 개역) [7] 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님께로 나서 하나님을 알고 [8] 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라 [9] 하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 저로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이니라 [10] 사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 오직 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 위하여 화목제로 그 아들을 보내셨음이니라 [11] 사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다

(2) 겸손의 주님

(빌 2:5-8, 개역) [5] 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 [6] 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고 [7] 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고 [8] 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라

(빌 2:5-8, NKJV) [5] Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, [6] who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, [7] but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. [8] And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

 

(슥 9:9, 개역) 시온의 딸아 크게 기뻐할지어다 예루살렘의 딸아 즐거이 부를지어다 보라 네 왕이 네게 임하나니 그는 공의로우며 구원을 베풀며 겸손하여서 나귀를 타나니 나귀의 작은 것 곧 나귀새끼니라

(Zch 9:9, NKJV) "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.

 

(3) 충성을 다하심

(히 3:5-6, 개역) [5] 또한 모세는 장래의 말할 것을 증거하기 위하여 하나님의 온 집에서 사환으로 충성하였고 [6] 그리스도는 그의 집 맡은 아들로 충성하였으니 우리가 소망의 담대함과 자랑을 끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그의 집이라

(히 3:5-6, NKJV) [5] And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, [6] but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

 

(4) 오래 참으심

(롬 2:3-10, 개역) [3] 이런 일을 행하는 자를 판단하고도 같은 일을 행하는 사람아 네가 하나님의 판단을 피할 줄로 생각하느냐 [4] 혹 네가 하나님의 인자하심이 너를 인도하여 회개케 하심을 알지 못하여 그의 인자하심과 용납하심과 길이 참으심의 풍성함을 멸시하느뇨 [5] 다만 네 고집과 회개치 아니한 마음을 따라 진노의 날 곧 하나님의 의로우신 판단이 나타나는 그 날에 임할 진노를 네게 쌓는도다 [6] 하나님께서 각 사람에게 그 행한 대로 보응하시되 [7] 참고 선을 행하여 영광과 존귀와 썩지 아니함을 구하는 자에게는 영생으로 하시고 [8] 오직 당을 지어 진리를 좇지 아니하고 불의를 좇는 자에게는 노와 분으로 하시리라 [9] 악을 행하는 각 사람의 영에게 환난과 곤고가 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게며 [10] 선을 행하는 각 사람에게는 영광과 존귀와 평강이 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게라

(5) 선하심

(시 136:1-3, 개역) [1] 여호와께 감사하라 그는 선하시며 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [2] 모든 신에 뛰어나신 하나님께 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 [3] 모든 주에 뛰어나신 주께 감사하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다

(시 136:1-3, NKJV) [1] Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. [2] Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. [3] Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever：

 

(6) 의로우심

(계 19:1-3, 개역) [1] 이 일 후에 내가 들으니 하늘에 허다한 무리의 큰 음성 같은 것이 있어 가로되 할렐루야 구원과 영광과 능력이 우리 하나님께 있도다 [2] 그의 심판은 참되고 의로운지라 음행으로 땅을 더럽게 한 큰 음녀를 심판하사 자기 종들의 피를 그의 손에 갚으셨도다 하고 [3] 두번째 가로되 할렐루야 하더니 그 연기가 세세토록 올라가더라

(7) 신실하심

(신 7:9-11, 개역) [9] 그런즉 너는 알라 오직 네 하나님 여호와는 하나님이시요 신실하신 하나님이시라 그를 사랑하고 그 계명을 지키는 자에게는 천 대까지 그 언약을 이행하시며 인애를 베푸시되 [10] 그를 미워하는 자에게는 당장에 보응하여 멸하시나니 여호와는 자기를 미워하는 자에게 지체하지 아니하시고 당장에 그에게 보응하시느니라 [11] 그런즉 너는 오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 명령과 규례와 법도를 지켜 행할지니라

(신 7:9-11, NKJV) [9] "Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; [10] "and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. (1Co 10:13, NKJV) No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

 

(살전 5:23-24, 개역) [23] 평강의 하나님이 친히 너희로 온전히 거룩하게 하시고 또 너희 온 영과 혼과 몸이 우리 주 예수 그리스도 강림하실 때에 흠 없게 보전되기를 원하노라 [24] 너희를 부르시는 이는 미쁘시니 그가 또한 이루시리라

(8) 온유하심

(마 11:29, 개역) 나는 마음이 온유하고 겸손하니 나의 멍에를 메고 내게 배우라 그러면 너희 마음이 쉼을 얻으리니

(Mt 11:29, NKJV) "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

 

(시 18:35, 개역) 주께서 또 주의 구원하는 방패를 내게 주시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙들고 주의 온유함이 나를 크게 하셨나이다

(Ps 18:35, NKJV) You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

 

(9) 변치 않으심

(히 13:8, 개역) 예수 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하시니라

(Heb 13:8, NKJV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

 

5. 하나님의 위대하신 능력

(1) 아버지께서 안에 계셔서 일하심

(요 14:9-12, 개역) [9] 예수께서 가라사대 빌립아 내가 이렇게 오래 너희와 함께 있으되 네가 나를 알지 못하느냐 나를 본 자는 아버지를 보았거늘 어찌하여 아버지를 보이라 하느냐 [10] 나는 아버지 안에 있고 아버지는 내 안에 계신 것을 네가 믿지 아니하느냐 내가 너희에게 이르는 말이 스스로 하는 것이 아니라 아버지께서 내 안에 계셔 그의 일을 하시는 것이라 [11] 내가 아버지 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계심을 믿으라 그렇지 못하겠거든 행하는 그 일을 인하여 나를 믿으라 [12] 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나를 믿는 자는 나의 하는 일을 저도 할 것이요 또한 이보다 큰 것도 하리니 이는 내가 아버지께로 감이니라

(2) 맹물을 포도주로

(요 2:9-11, 개역) [9] 연회장은 물로 된 포도주를 맛보고 어디서 났는지 알지 못하되 물 떠온 하인들은 알더라 연회장이 신랑을 불러 [10] 말하되 사람마다 먼저 좋은 포도주를 내고 취한 후에 낮은 것을 내거늘 그대는 지금까지 좋은 포도주를 두었도다 하니라 [11] 예수께서 이 처음 표적을 갈릴리 가나에서 행하여 그 영광을 나타내시매 제자들이 그를 믿으니라

(요 2:9-11, NKJV) [9] When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. [10] And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!" [11] This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

 

(3) 죽은자를 살리심

(요 11:40-44, 개역) [40] 예수께서 가라사대 내 말이 네가 믿으면 하나님의 영광을 보리라 하지 아니하였느냐 하신대 [41] 돌을 옮겨 놓으니 예수께서 눈을 들어 우러러 보시고 가라사대 아버지여 내 말을 들으신 것을 감사하나이다 [42] 항상 내 말을 들으시는 줄을 내가 알았나이다 그러나 이 말씀 하옵는 것은 둘러선 무리를 위함이니 곧 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것을 저희로 믿게 하려 함이니이다 [43] 이 말씀을 하시고 큰 소리로 나사로야 나오라 부르시니 [44] 죽은 자가 수족을 베로 동인 채로 나오는데 그 얼굴은 수건에 싸였더라 예수께서 가라사대 풀어 놓아 다니게 하라 하시니라

(4) 귀신을

I implore You by God that You do not torment me." [8] For He said to him, "Come out of the man, unclean spirit!" [9] Then He asked him, "What is your name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion; for we are many." [10] Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country. [11] Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. [12] So all the demons begged Him, saying, "Send us to the swine, that we may enter them."

 

(5) 삼십팔년된 병자

(요 5:5-9, 개역) [5] 거기 삼십팔 년 된 병자가 있더라 [6] 예수께서 그 누운 것을 보시고 병이 벌써 오랜 줄 아시고 이르시되 네가 낫고자 하느냐 [7] 병자가 대답하되 주여 물이 동할 때에 나를 못에 넣어 줄 사람이 없어 내가 가는 동안에 다른 사람이 먼저 내려가나이다 [8] 예수께서 가라사대 일어나 네 자리를 들고 걸어가라 하시니 [9] 그 사람이 곧 나아서 자리를 들고 걸어가니라 이 날은 안식일이니

(요 5:5-9, NKJV) [5] Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. [6] When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" [7] The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." [8] Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." [9] And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

 

(6) 귀먹고 벙어리

(막 9:25-26, 개역) [25] 예수께서 무리의 달려 모이는 것을 보시고 그 더러운 귀신을 꾸짖어 가라사대 벙어리 되고 귀먹은 귀신아 내가 네게 명하노니 그 아이에게서 나오고 다시 들어가지 말라 하시매 [26] 귀신이 소리지르며 아이로 심히 경련을 일으키게 하고 나가니 그 아이가 죽은 것 같이 되어 많은 사람이 말하기를 죽었다 하나

(막 9:25-26, NKJV) [25] When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!" [26] Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead."

 

(7) 오병이어

(요 6:10-12, 개역) [10] 예수께서 가라사대 이 사람들로 앉게 하라 하신대 그곳에 잔디가 많은지라 사람들이 앉으니 수효가 오천 쯤 되더라 [11] 예수께서 떡을 가져 축사하신 후에 앉은 자들에게 나눠 주시고 고기도 그렇게 저희의 원대로 주시다 [12] 저희가 배부른 후에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라 하시므로

(요 6:10-12, NKJV) [10] Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. [11] And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. [12] So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost."

 

(8) 풍랑을 잠잠하게

(마 8:23-27, 개역) [23] 배에 오르시매 제자들이 좇았더니 [24] 바다에 큰 놀이 일어나 물결이 배에 덮이게 되었으되 예수는 주무시는지라 [25] 그 제자들이 나아와 깨우며 가로되 주여 구원하소서 우리가 죽겠나이다 [26] 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 무서워하느냐 믿음이 적은 자들아 하시고 곧 일어나사 바람과 바다를 꾸짖으신대 아주 잔잔하게 되거늘 [27] 그 사람들이 기이히 여겨 가로되 이 어떠한 사람이기에 바람과 바다도 순종하는고 하더라

(마 8:23-27, NKJV) [23] Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. [24] And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. [25] Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!" [26] But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. [27] So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

 

(9) 문둥병자

(눅 17:11-19, 개역) [11] 예수께서 예루살렘으로 가실 때에 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시다가 [12] 한 촌에 들어가시니 문둥병자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서 [13] 소리를 높여 가로되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 궁휼히 여기소서 하거늘 [14] 보시고 가라사대 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 저희가 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라 [15] 그 중에 하나가 자기의 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와 [16] 예수의 발 아래 엎드리어 사례하니 저는 사마리아인이라 [17] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐 [18] 이 이방인 외에는 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 돌아온 자가 없느냐 하시고 [19] 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라

(눅 17:11-19, NKJV) [11] Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. [12] Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. [13] And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" [14] So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. [15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, [16] and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. [17] So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? [18] "Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" [19] And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."

 

(10) 앞날을 예언하심

(눅 21:20-24, 개역) [20] 너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에게 에워싸이는 것을 보거든 그 멸망이 가까운 줄을 알라 [21] 그 때에 유대에 있는 자들은 산으로 도망할지며 성내에 있는 자들은 나갈지며 촌에 있는 자들은 그리로 들어가지 말지어다 [22] 이 날들은 기록된 모든 것을 이루는 형벌의 날이니라 [23] 그 날에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리니 이는 땅에 큰 환난과 이 백성에게 진노가 있겠음이로다 [24] 저희가 칼날에 죽임을 당하며 모든 이방에 사로잡혀 가겠고 예루살렘은 이방인의 때가 차기까지 이방인들에게 밟히리라

(눅 21:20-24, NKJV) [20] "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. [21] "Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. [22] "For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. [23] "But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. [24] "And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

 

(11) 말씀만으로

(요 4:50-54, 개역) [50] 예수께서 가라사대 가라 네 아들이 살았다 하신대 그 사람이 예수의 하신 말씀을 믿고 가더니 [51] 내려가는 길에서 그 종들이 오다가 만나서 아이가 살았다 하거늘 [52] 그 낫기 시작한 때를 물은즉 어제 제칠시에 열기가 떨어졌나이다 하는지라 [53] 아비가 예수께서 네 아들이 살았다 말씀하신 그 때인 줄 알고 자기와 그 온 집안이 다 믿으니라 [54] 이것은 예수께서 유대에서 갈릴리로 오신 후 행하신 두번째 표적이니라

(요 4:50-54, NKJV) [50] Jesus said to him, 'Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. [51] And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, "Your son lives!" [52] Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him." [53] So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And he himself believed, and his whole household. [54] This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee.

 

(12) 하나님의 위엄

(시 68:32-35, 개역) [32] 땅의 열방들아 하나님께 노래하고 주께 찬송할지어다(셀라) [33] 옛적 하늘들의 하늘을 타신 자에게 찬송하라 주께서 그 소리를 발하시니 웅장한 소리로다 [34] 너희는 하나님께 능력을 돌릴지어다 그 위엄이 이스라엘 위에 있고 그 능력이 하늘에 있도다 [35] 하나님이여 위엄을 성소에서 나타내시나이다 이스라엘의 하나님은 그 백성에게 힘과 능을 주시나니 하나님을 찬송할지어다

(시 68:32-35, NKJV) [32] Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth; Oh, sing praises to the Lord, Selah [33] To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old! Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice. [34] Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, And His strength is in the clouds. [35] O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!

 

(13) 다른 이가 없음

(행 4:12, 개역) 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라

(Ac 4:12, NKJV) "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

 

(요 14:6, 개역) 예수께서 가라사대 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라

(Jn 14:6, NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

 

(사 45:20-22, 개역) [20] 열방 중에서 피난한 자들아 너희는 모여 오라 한가지로 가까이 나아 오라 나무 우상을 가지고 다니며 능히 구원치 못하는 신에게 기도하는 자들은 무지한 자니라 [21] 너희는 고하며 진술하고 또 피차 상의하여 보라 이 일을 이전부터 보인 자가 누구냐 예로부터 고한 자가 누구냐 나 여호와가 아니냐 나 외에 다른 신이 없나니 나는 공의를 행하며 구원을 베푸는 하나님이라 나 외에 다른 이가 없느니라 [22] 땅 끝의 모든 백성아 나를 앙망하라 그리하며 구원을 얻으리라 나는 하나님이라 다른 이가 없음이니라

(사 45:20-22, NKJV) [20] "Assemble yourselves and come; Draw near together, You who have escaped from the nations. They have no knowledge, Who carry the wood of their carved image, And pray to a god that cannot save. [21] Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. [22] "Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

 

(14) 초월적인 왕

(대하 2:5-6, 개역) [5] 내가 건축하고자 하는 전은 크니 우리 하나님은 모든 신보다 크심이라 [6] 누가 능히 하나님을 위하여 전을 건축하리요 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘이라도 주를 용납지 못하겠거든 내가 누구관대 어찌 능히 위하여 전을 건축하리요 그 앞에 분향하려 할 따름이니이다

(대하 2:5-6, NKJV) [5] And the temple which I build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods. [6] But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him?

 

(12) 없는 것도 있는 것 같이 부르심

(롬 4:17, 개역) 기록된 바 내가 너를 많은 민족의 조상으로 세웠다 하심과 같으니 그의 믿은 바 하나님은 죽은 자를 살리시며 없는 것을 있는 것 같이 부르시는 이시니라

(Rm 4:17, NKJV) (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed--God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

 

6. 위대하신 하나님

(1) 창조

(창 1:1-3, 개역) [1] 태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라 [2] 땅이 혼돈하고 공허하며 흑암이 깊음 위에 있고 하나님의 신은 수면에 운행하시니라 [3] 하나님이 가라사대 빛이 있으라 하시매 빛이 있었고

(창 1:1-3, NKJV) [1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [2] The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. [3] Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

 

(사 65:17-19, 개역) [17] 보라 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조하나니 이전 것은 기억되거나 마음에 생각나지 아니할 것이라 [18] 너희는 나의 창조하는 것을 인하여 영원히 기뻐하며 즐거워할지니라 보라 내가 예루살렘으로 즐거움을 창조하며 그 백성으로 기쁨을 삼고 [19] 내가 예루살렘을 즐거워하며 나의 백성을 기뻐하리니 우는 소리와 부르짖는 소리가 그 가운데서 다시는 들리지 아니할 것이며

[3] And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. [4] Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. [5] And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. [6] Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. [7] The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."

 

(3) 광대하심

(시 150:1-6, 개역) [1] 할렐루야 그 성소에서 하나님을 찬양하며 그 권능의 궁창에서 그를 찬양할지어다 [2] 그의 능하신 행동을 인하여 찬양하며 그의 지극히 광대하심을 좇아 찬양할지어다 [3] 나팔 소리로 찬양하며 비파와 수금으로 찬양할지어다 [4] 소고 치며 춤추어 찬양하며 현악과 퉁소로 찬양할지어다 [5] 큰 소리 나는 제금으로 찬양하며 높은 소리 나는 제금으로 찬양할지어다 [6] 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할지어다 할렐루야

(시 150:1-6, NKJV) [1] Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! [2] Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! [3] Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! [4] Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! [5] Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! [6] Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!

 

(4) 지혜

(고전 1:18-21, 개역) [18] 십자가의 도가 멸망하는 자들에게는 미련한 것이요 구원을 얻는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이라 [19] 기록된 바 내가 지혜 있는 자들의 지혜를 멸하고 총명한 자들의 총명을 폐하리라 하였으니 [20] 지혜 있는 자가 어디 있느뇨 선비가 어디 있느뇨 이 세대에 변사가 어디 있느뇨 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 미련케 하신 것이 아니뇨 [21] 하나님의 지혜에 있어서는 이 세상이 자기 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못하는 고로 하나님께서 전도의 미련한 것으로 믿는 자들을 구원하시기를 기뻐하셨도다

(고전 1:18-21, NKJV) [18] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. [19] For it is written： "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." [20] Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [21] For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

(사 40:27-31, NKJV) [27] Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel： "My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God"? [28] Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. [29] He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, [31] But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

 

(5) 권세

(대상 29:10-17, 개역) [10] 다윗이 온 회중 앞에서 여호와를 송축하여 가로되 우리 조상 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 주는 영원히 송축을 받으시옵소서 [11] 여호와여 광대하심과 권능과 영광과 이김과 위엄이 다 주께 속하였사오니 천지에 있는 것이 다 주의 것이로소이다 여호와여 주권도 주께 속하였사오니 주는 높으사 만유의 머리심이니이다 [12] 부와 귀가 주께로 말미암고 또 주는 만유의 주재가 되사 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 모든 자를 크게 하심과 강하게 하심이 주의 손에 있나이다 [13] 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다 [14] 나와 나의 백성이 무엇이관대 이처럼 즐거운 마음으로 드릴 힘이 있었나이까 모든 것이 주께로 말미암았사오니 우리가 주의 손에서 받은 것으로 주께 드렸을 뿐이니이다 [15] 주 앞에서는 우리가 우리 열조와 다름이 없이 나그네와 우거한 자라 세상에 있는 날이 그림자 같아서 머무름이 없나이다 [16] 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리가 주의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하려고 미리 저축한 이 모든 물건이 다 주의 손에서 왔사오니 다 주의 것이니이다 [17] 나의 하나님이여 주께서 마음을 감찰하시고 정직을 기뻐하시는 줄 내가 아나이다 내가 정직한 마음으로 이 모든 것을 즐거이 드렸사오며 이제 내가 또 여기 있는 주의 백성이 주께 즐거이 드리는 것을 보오니 심히 기쁘도소이다

[11] Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. [12] Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. [13] "Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. [14] But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You. [15] For we are aliens and pilgrims before You, As were all our fathers; Our days on earth are as a shadow, And without hope. [16] "O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own. [17] "I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

 

(6) 영광

(계 1:13-16, 개역) [13] 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고 [14] 그 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 [15] 그의 발은 풀무에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물소리와 같으며 [16] 그 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은 해가 힘있게 비취는 것 같더라

(계 1:13-16, NKJV) [13] and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. [14] His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; [15] His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; [16] He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

 

(7) 존귀하심

(단 7:9-10, 개역) [9] 내가 보았는데 왕좌가 놓이고 옛적부터 항상 계신 이가 좌정하셨는데 그 옷은 희기가 눈 같고 그 머리털은 깨끗한 양의 털 같고 그 보좌는 불꽃이요 그 바퀴는 붙는 불이며 [10] 불이 강처럼 흘러 그 앞에서 나오며 그에게 수종하는 자는 천천이요 그 앞에 시위한 자는 만만이며 심판을 베푸는데 책들이 펴 놓였더라

(단 7:9-10, NKJV) [9] "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; [10] A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.

 

(8) 찬양받으실 주님

(계 5:12, 개역) 큰 음성으로 가로되 죽임을 당하신 어린 양이 능력과 부와 지혜와 힘과 존귀와 영광과 찬송을 받으시기에 합당하도다 하더라

(Rv 5:12, NKJV) saying with a loud voice： "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

 

(9) 기묘하신 분

(사 9:6-7, 개역) [6] 이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신바 되었는데 그 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라 [7] 그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 또 다윗의 위에 앉아서 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 자금 이후 영원토록 공평과 정의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리라

(사 9:6-7, NKJV) [6] For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [7] Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

(삿 13:17-20, NKJV) [17] Then Manoah said to the Angel of the LORD, "What is Your name, that when Your words come to pass we may honor You?" [18] And the Angel of the LORD said to him, "Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?" [19] So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it upon the rock to the LORD. And He did a wondrous thing while Manoah and his wife looked on-- [20] it happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar--the Angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.

 

(10) 구원

(벧전 1:8-13, 개역) [8] 예수를 너희가 보지 못하였으나 사랑하는도다 이제도 보지 못하나 믿고 말할 수 없는 영광스러운 즐거움으로 기뻐하니 [9] 믿음의 결국 곧 영혼의 구원을 받음이라 [10] 이 구원에 대하여는 너희에게 임할 은혜를 예언하던 선지자들이 연구하고 부지런히 살펴서 [11] 자기 속에 계신 그리스도의 영이 그 받으실 고난과 후에 얻으실 영광을 미리 증거하여 어느 시, 어떠한 때를 지시하시는지 상고하니라 [12] 이 섬긴 바가 자기를 위한 것이 아니요 너희를 위한 것임이 계시로 알게 되었으니 이것은 하늘로부터 보내신 성령을 힘입어 복음을 전하는 자들로 이제 너희에게 고한 것이요 천사들도 살펴 보기를 원하는 것이니라 [13] 그러므로 너희 마음의 허리를 동이고 근신하여 예수 그리스도의 나타나실 때에 너희에게 가져올 은혜를 온전히 바랄지어다

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, [9] receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls. [10] Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, [11] searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. (딛 2:11-14, NKJV) [11] For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

(고후 5:20-21, NKJV) [20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us： we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. [21] For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

[2] For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. [3] I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. [4] And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, [5] that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. [6] However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. [7] But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, [8] which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. [9] But as it is written： "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." [10] But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

 

7. 위대하신 하나님께 대한 합당한 반응은 무엇입니까?

(1) 경외하라.

(잠 1:7, 개역) 여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본이어늘 미련한 자는 지혜와 훈계를

멸시하느니라

(Pr 1:7, NKJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

 

(전 12:13-14, 개역) [13] 일의 결국을 다 들었으니 하나님을 경외하고 그 명령을 지킬지어다 이것이 사람의 본분이니라 [14] 하나님은 모든 행위와 모든 은밀한 일을 선악간에 심판하시리라

(전 12:13-14, NKJV) [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter： Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. [14] For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

 

(2) 찬양 경배

(시 148:1-6, 개역) [1] 할렐루야 하늘에서 여호와를 찬양하며 높은 데서 찬양할지어다 [2] 그의 모든 사자여 찬양하며 모든 군대여 찬양할지어다 [3] 해와 달아 찬양하며 광명한 별들아 찬양할지어다 [4] 하늘의 하늘도 찬양하며 하늘 위에 있는 물들도 찬양할지어다 [5] 그것들이 여호와의 이름을 찬양할 것은 저가 명하시매 지음을 받았음이로다 [6] 저가 또 그것들을 영영히 세우시고 폐치 못할 명을 정하셨도다

(시 148:1-6, NKJV) [1] Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! [2] Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! [3] Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! [4] Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens! [5] Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created. [6] He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away.

 

(3) 신뢰하라

(시 145:18-21, 개역) [18] 여호와께서는 자기에게 간구하는 모든 자 곧 진실하게 간구하는 모든 자에게 가까이 하시는도다 [19] 저는 자기를 경외하는 자의 소원을 이루시며 또 저희 부르짖음을 들으사 구원하시리로다 [20] 여호와께서 자기를 사랑하는 자는 다 보호하시고 악인은 다 멸하시리로다 [21] 내 입이 여호와의 영예를 말하며 모든 육체가 그의 성호를 영영히 송축할지로다

(시 145:18-21, NKJV) [18] The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. [19] He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. [20] The LORD preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. [21] My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh shall bless His holy name Forever and ever.

 

(사 26:3, 개역) 주께서 심지가 견고한 자를 평강에 평강으로 지키시리니 이는 그가 주를 의뢰함이니이다

(시 37:1-5, 개역) [1] [다윗의 시] 행악자를 인하여 불평하여 하지 말며 불의를 행하는 자를 투기하지 말지어다 [2] 저희는 풀과 같이 속히 베임을 볼 것이며 푸른 채소 같이 쇠잔할 것임이로다 [3] 여호와를 의뢰하여 선을 행하라 땅에 거하여 그의 성실로 식물을 삼을지어다 [4] 또 여호와를 기뻐하라 저가 네 마음의 소원을 이루어 주시리로다 [5] 너의 길을 여호와께 맡기라 저를 의지하면 저가 이루시고

(시 37:1-5, NKJV) [1] A Psalm of David. Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. [2] For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. [3] Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. [4] Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. [5] Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

 

(4) 가까이하라.

(신 4:7, 개역) 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리가 그에게 기도할 때마다 우리에게 가까이 하심과 같이 그 신의 가까이 함을 얻은 나라가 어디 있느냐

(Dt 4:7, NKJV) "For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?

 

(시 73:28, 개역) 하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라 내가 주 여호와를 나의 피난처로 삼아 주의 모든 행사를 전파하리이다

(Ps 73:28, NKJV) But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.

 

(습 3:2, 개역) 그가 명령을 듣지 아니하며 교훈을 받지 아니하며 여호와를 의뢰하지 아니하며 자기 하나님에게 가까이 나아가지 아니하였도다

(Zph 3:2, NKJV) She has not obeyed His voice, She has not received correction; She has not trusted in the LORD, She has not drawn near to her God.

 

(약 4:8, 개역) 하나님을 가까이 하라 그리하면 너희를 가까이 하시리라 죄인들아 손을 깨끗이 하라 두 마음을 품은 자들아 마음을 성결케 하라

(Jms 4:8, NKJV) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

 

(5) 갈망하라.

(시 42:1-3, 개역) [1] [고라 자손의 마스길, 영장으로 한 노래] 하나님이여 사슴이 시냇물을 찾기에 갈급함 같이 내 영혼이 주를 찾기에 갈급하니이다 [2] 내 영혼이 하나님 곧 생존하시는 하나님을 갈망하나니 내가 어느 때에 나아가서 하나님 앞에 뵈올꼬 [3] 사람들이 종일 나더러 하는 말이 네 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 하니 내 눈물이 주야로 내 음식이 되었도다

(시 42:1-3, NKJV) [1] To the Chief Musician. A Contmeplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. [2] My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? [3] My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, "Where is your God?"

[2] When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. [3] Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war should rise against me, In this I will be confident. [4] One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek： That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.

 

(6) 전파하라.

(행 1:8, 개역) 오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라

(Ac 1:8, NKJV) "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

 

(막 16:15-20, 개역) [15] 또 가라사대 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라 [16] 믿고 침례를 받는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이요 믿지 않는 사람은 정죄를 받으리라 [17] 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 저희가 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 [18] 뱀을 집으며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라 [19] 주 예수께서 말씀을 마치신 후에 하늘로 올리우사 하나님 우편에 앉으시니라 [20] 제자들이 나가 두루 전파할새 주께서 함께 역사하사 그 따르는 표적으로 말씀을 확실히 증거하시니라]

(막 16:15-20, NKJV) [15] And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. [17] "And these signs will follow those who believe： In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; [18] "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." [19] So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. [20] And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

 

(7) 사랑하라.

(신 6:4-9, 개역) [4] 이스라엘아 들으라 우리 하나님 여호와는 오직 하나인 여호와시니 [5] 너는 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하고 힘을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하라 [6] 오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 이 말씀을 너는 마음에 새기고 [7] 네 자녀에게 부지런히 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지 길에 행할 때에든지 누웠을 때에든지 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론할 것이며 [8] 너는 또 그것을 네 손목에 매어 기호를 삼으며 네 미간에 붙여 표를 삼고 [9] 또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록할지니라

[6] "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. [7] "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. [8] "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. [9] "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

 

(마 22:37-40, 개역) [37] 예수께서 가라사대 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 [38] 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 [39] 둘째는 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 [40] 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라

(마 22:37-40, NKJV) [37] Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' [38] "This is the first and great commandment. [39] "And the second is like it： 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' [40] "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

 

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

나는 하나님을 만났습니까?

나는 하나님을 알고 있습니까?

하나님을 아는 것이 얼마나 중요한것입니까?

낙심 두려움 걱정 근심 등등이 하나님을 바로 알지 못하고 깊이 알지 못하며 넓게 알지 못하기 때문은 아닙니까?

우리는 하나님을 제대로 알아야 합니다.

하나님을 아는 만큼 우리는 담대할수 있습니다.

그것이 믿음으로 연결됩니다.

하나님을 사랑하게 됩니다.

하나님은 우리의 생각을 초월하여 계시는 분이십니다.

우리는 성경말씀과 우주와 예수님 그리고 성령님을 통하여 하나님을 알고 체험할수 있습니다.

하나님의 위대하심과 신실하심을 알아야 합니다.

하나님의 사랑과 지혜와 능력을 알아야 합니다.

하나님은 창조자시며 우주의 통치자 이십니다.

하나님으 스스로 계신 분이시며 모든 것의 원인이 되시는 분이십니다.

하나님은 누구와도 비교할수 없습니다.

하나님의 길은 찾을수가 없습니다.

하나님은 우리가 다 알수 없는 분이십니다.

모든 것을 초월하여 영원히 계시는 분이십니다.

하나님의 아름다움을 알아야 합니다.

하나님의 거룩하심을 알아야 합니다.

완전하신 하나님

사랑이신 하나님

공의의 하나님

광대하신 하나님

거룩하신 하나님

영원하신 하나님

하나님의 사랑과 구원이 위대합니다.

하나님 만이 찬양과 경배를 받으시기에 합당하신 분이십니다.

 

오늘도, 위대하신 하나님을 바로 알고 깊이 알고 넓게 알아 사귀어 살아감으로 담대한 믿음으로 기쁨과 능력으로 끝까지 충성을 다하는 복된 우리 모두가 될수있기를 우리주 예수그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축원합니다. 아멘!
