<세례요한이 목베임을 당하다>

(막 6:14-29, 개역) [14] 이에 예수의 이름이 드러난지라 헤롯 왕이 듣고 가로되 이는 세례 요한이 죽은 자 가운데서 살아났도다 그러므로 이런 능력이 그 속에서 운동하느니라 하고 [15] 어떤 이는 이가 엘리야라 하고 또 어떤이는 이가 선지자니 옛 선지자 중의 하나와 같다 하되 [16] 헤롯은 듣고 가로되 내가 목 베인 요한 그가 살아났다 하더라 [17] 전에 헤롯이 자기가 동생 빌립의 아내 헤로디아에게 장가 든고로 이 여자를 위하여 사람을 보내어 요한을 잡아 옥에 가두었으니 [18] 이는 요한이 헤롯에게 말하되 동생의 아내를 취한 것이 옳지 않다 하였음이라 [19] 헤로디아가 요한을 원수로 여겨 죽이고자 하였으되 하지 못한 것은 [20] 헤롯이 요한을 의롭고 거룩한 사람으로 알고 두려워하여 보호하며 또 그의 말을 들을 때에 크게 번민을 느끼면서도 달게 들음이러라 [21] 마침 기회 좋은 날이 왔으니 곧 헤롯이 자기 생일에 대신들과 천부장들과 갈릴리의 귀인들로 더불어 잔치할새 [22] 헤로디아의 딸이 친히 들어와 춤을 추어 헤롯과 및 함께 앉은 자들을 기쁘게 한지라 왕이 그 여아에게 이르되 무엇이든지 너 원하는 것을 내게 구하라 내가 주리라 하고 [23] 또 맹세하되 무엇이든지 네가 내게 구하면 내 나라의 절반까지라도 주리라 하거늘 [24] 저가 나가서 그 어미에게 말하되 내가 무엇을 구하리이까 그 어미가 가로되 세례 요한의 머리를 구하라 하니 [25] 저가 곧 왕에게 급히 들어가 구하여 가로되 세례 요한의 머리를 소반에 담아 곧 내게 주기를 원하옵나이다 한대 [26] 왕이 심히 근심하나 자기의 맹세한 것과 그 앉은 자들을 인하여 저를 거절할 수 없는지라 [27] 왕이 곧 시위병 하나를 보내어 요한의 머리를 가져오라 명하니 그 사람이 나가 옥에서 요한을 목 베어 [28] 그 머리를 소반에 담아다가 여아에게 주니 여아가 이것을 그 어미에게 주니라 [29] 요한의 제자들이 듣고 와서 시체를 가져다가 장사하니라

(막 6:14-29, NKJV) [14] Now King Herod heard of Him, for His name had become well known. And he said, "John the Baptist is risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him." [15] Others said, "It is Elijah." And others said, "It is the Prophet, or like one of the prophets." [16] But when Herod heard, he said, "This is John, whom I beheaded; he has been raised from the dead!" [17] For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her. [18] For John had said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife." [19] Therefore Herodias held it against him and wanted to kill him, but she could not; [20] for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. [21] Then an opportune day came when Herod on his birthday gave a feast for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of Galilee. [22] And when Herodias' daughter herself came in and danced, and pleased Herod and those who sat with him, the king said to the girl, "Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you." [23] He also swore to her, "Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom." [24] So she went out and said to her mother, "What shall I ask?" And she said, "The head of John the Baptist!" [25] Immediately she came in with haste to the king and asked, saying, "I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter." [26] And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he did not want to refuse her. [27] Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought. And he went and beheaded him in prison, [28] brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. [29] When his disciples heard of it, they came and took away his corpse and laid it in a tomb.

 

1. 예수님의 이름이 알려짐

(1) 마9

(마 9:35, 개역) 예수께서 모든 성과 촌에 두루 다니사 저희 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라

(Mt 9:35, NKJV) Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

 

(2) 기적들

(마 14:16-21, 개역) [16] 예수께서 가라사대 갈 것 없다 너희가 먹을 것을 주라 [17] 제자들이 가로되 여기 우리에게 있는 것은 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리뿐이니이다 [18] 가라사대 그것을 내게 가져오라 하시고 [19] 무리를 명하여 잔디 위에 앉히시고 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고 떡을 떼어 제자들에게 주시매 제자들이 무리에게 주니 [20] 다 배불리 먹고 남은 조각을 열두 바구니에 차게 거두었으며 [21] 먹은 사람은 여자와 아이 외에 오천 명이나 되었더라

(마 14:16-21, NKJV) [16] But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat." [17] And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish." [18] He said, "Bring them here to Me." [19] Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. [20] So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. [21] Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

 

(3) 말씀

(마 5:1-12, 개역) [1] 예수께서 무리를 보시고 산에 올라가 앉으시니 제자들이 나아온지라 [2] 입을 열어 가르쳐 가라사대 [3] 심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 저희 것임이요 [4] 애통하는 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 위로를 받을 것임이요 [5] 온유한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 땅을 기업으로 받을 것임이요 [6] 의에 주리고 목마른 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 배부를 것임이요 [7] 긍휼히 여기는 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 긍휼히 여김을 받을 것임이요 [8] 마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님을 볼 것임이요 [9] 화평케 하는 자는 복이 있나니 저희가 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 것임이요 [10] 의를 위하여 핍박을 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 저희 것임이라 [11] 나를 인하여 너희를 욕하고 핍박하고 거짓으로 너희를 거스려 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니 [12] 기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라 너희 전에 있던 선지자들을 이같이 핍박하였느니라

(마 5:1-12, NKJV) [1] And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. [2] Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying： [3] "Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [4] Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. [5] Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. [6] Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. [7] Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. [8] Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. [10] Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. [12] "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

 

(4) 권능

(눅 4:14-15, 개역) [14] 예수께서 성령의 권능으로 갈릴리에 돌아가시니 그 소문이 사방에 퍼졌고 [15] 친히 그 여러 회당에서 가르치시매 뭇 사람에게 칭송을 받으시더라

(눅 4:14-15, NKJV) [14] Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. [15] And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

 

(눅 4:16-22, 개역) [16] 예수께서 그 자라나신 곳 나사렛에 이르사 안식일에 자기 규례대로 회당에 들어가사 성경을 읽으려고 서시매 [17] 선지자 이사야의 글을 드리거늘 책을 펴서 이렇게 기록한 데를 찾으시니 곧 [18] 주의 성령이 내게 임하셨으니 이는 가난한 자에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 내게 기름을 부으시고 나를 보내사 포로된 자에게 자유를, 눈먼 자에게 다시 보게 함을 전파하며 눌린 자를 자유케 하고 [19] 주의 은혜의 해를 전파하게 하려 하심이라 하였더라 [20] 책을 덮어 그 맡은 자에게 주시고 앉으시니 회당에 있는 자들이 다 주목하여 보더라 [21] 이에 예수께서 저희에게 말씀하시되 이 글이 오늘날 너희 귀에 응하였느니라 하시니 [22] 저희가 다 그를 증거하고 그 입으로 나오는 바 은혜로운 말을 기이히 여겨 가로되 이 사람이 요셉의 아들이 아니냐

(눅 4:16-22, NKJV) [16] So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. [17] And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written： [18] "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; [19] To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." [20] Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. [21] And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." [22] So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, "Is this not Joseph's son?"

 

(5) 부르는 자는 구원을

(행 2:16-21, 개역) [16] 이는 곧 선지자 요엘로 말씀하신 것이니 일렀으되 [17] 하나님이 가라사대 말세에 내가 내 영으로 모든 육체에게 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라 [18] 그 때에 내가 내 영으로 내 남종과 여종들에게 부어 주리니 저희가 예언할 것이요 [19] 또 내가 위로 하늘에서는 기사와 아래로 땅에서는 징조를 베풀리니 곧 피와 불과 연기로다 [20] 주의 크고 영화로운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 변하여 어두워지고 달이 변하여 피가 되리라 [21] 누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리라 하였느니라

(행 2:16-21, NKJV) [16] "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel： [17] 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. [18] And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. [19] I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath： Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. [21] And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'

 

(6) 죄사함을

(행 10:42-46, 개역) [42] 우리를 명하사 백성에게 전도하되 하나님이 산 자와 죽은 자의 재판장으로 정하신 자가 곧 이 사람인 것을 증거하게 하셨고 [43] 저에 대하여 모든 선지자도 증거하되 저를 믿는 사람들이 다 그 이름을 힘입어 죄 사함을 받는다 하였느니라 [44] 베드로가 이 말 할 때에 성령이 말씀 듣는 모든 사람에게 내려 오시니 [45] 베드로와 함께 온 할례 받은 신자들이 이방인들에게도 성령 부어주심을 인하여 놀라니 [46] 이는 방언을 말하며 하나님 높임을 들음이러라

(행 10:42-46, NKJV) [42] "And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. [43] "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." [44] While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. [45] And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. [46] For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

 

(7) 다른 이름은 없다.

(행 4:10-12, 개역) [10] 너희와 모든 이스라엘 백성들은 알라 너희가 십자가에 못 박고 하나님이 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 이 사람이 건강하게 되어 너희 앞에 섰느니라 [11] 이 예수는 너희 건축자들의 버린 돌로서 집 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라 [12] 다른 이로서는 구원을 얻을 수 없나니 천하 인간에 구원을 얻을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이니라 하였더라

(행 4:10-12, NKJV) [10] "let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. [11] "This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' [12] "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

 

(8) 내 이름으로

(막 16:17-18, 개역) [17] 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 저희가 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 [18] 뱀을 집으며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라

(막 16:17-18, NKJV) [17] "And these signs will follow those who believe： In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; [18] "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

 

(빌 2:9-11, 개역) [9] 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 [10] 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 [11] 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라

(빌 2:9-11, NKJV) [9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

 

(9) 나시기전에

(마 1:18-25, 개역) [18] 예수 그리스도의 나심은 이러하니라 그 모친 마리아가 요셉과 정혼하고 동거하기 전에 성령으로 잉태된 것이 나타났더니 [19] 그 남편 요셉은 의로운 사람이라 저를 드러내지 아니하고 가만히 끊고자 하여 [20] 이 일을 생각할 때에 주의 사자가 현몽하여 가로되 다윗의 자손 요셉아 네 아내 마리아 데려오기를 무서워 말라 저에게 잉태된 자는 성령으로 된 것이라 [21] 아들을 낳으리니 이름을 예수라 하라 이는 그가 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자이심이라 하니라 [22] 이 모든 일의 된 것은 주께서 선지자로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이니 가라사대 [23] 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라 [24] 요셉이 잠을 깨어 일어나서 주의 사자의 분부대로 행하여 그 아내를 데려왔으나 [25] 아들을 낳기까지 동침치 아니하더니 낳으매 이름을 예수라 하니라

(마 1:18-25, NKJV) [18] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows： After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. [19] Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. [20] But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. [21] "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." [22] So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying： [23] "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." [24] Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, [25] and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.

 

(10) 온 세상에

(행 1:8, 개역) 오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라

(Ac 1:8, NKJV) "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

 

(합 2:14, 개역) 대저 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와의 영광을 인정하는 것이 세상에 가득하리라

(Hab 2:14, NKJV) For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

 

(계 19:11-16, 개역) [11] 또 내가 하늘이 열린 것을 보니 보라 백마와 탄 자가 있으니 그 이름은 충신과 진실이라 그가 공의로 심판하며 싸우더라 [12] 그 눈이 불꽃 같고 그 머리에 많은 면류관이 있고 또 이름 쓴 것이 하나가 있으니 자기 밖에 아는 자가 없고 [13] 또 그가 피 뿌린 옷을 입었는데 그 이름은 하나님의 말씀이라 칭하더라 [14] 하늘에 있는 군대들이 희고 깨끗한 세마포를 입고 백마를 타고 그를 따르더라 [15] 그의 입에서 이한 검이 나오니 그것으로 만국을 치겠고 친히 저희를 철장으로 다스리며 또 친히 하나님 곧 전능하신 이의 맹렬한 진노의 포도주 틀을 밟겠고 [16] 그 옷과 그 다리에 이름 쓴 것이 있으니 만왕의 왕이요 만주의 주라 하였더라

(계 19:11-16, NKJV) [11] Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. [12] His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. [13] He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [15] Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written： KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

 

(11) 주의 이름을 위하여 고난을 받음

(계 2:3, 개역) 또 네가 참고 내 이름을 위하여 견디고 게으르지 아니한 것을 아노라

(Rv 2:3, NKJV) "and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.

 

(행 21:13, 개역) 바울이 대답하되 너희가 어찌하여 울어 내 마음을 상하게 하느냐 나는 주 예수의 이름을 위하여 결박 받을 뿐 아니라 예루살렘에서 죽을 것도 각오하였노라 하니

(Ac 21:13, NKJV) Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."

 

2. 죽은 세례요한이 살아났다.

(1) 두려움

(창 3:6-10, 개역) [6] 여자가 그 나무를 본즉 먹음직도 하고 보암직도 하고 지혜롭게 할 만큼 탐스럽기도 한 나무인지라 여자가 그 실과를 따먹고 자기와 함께한 남편에게도 주매 그도 먹은지라 [7] 이에 그들의 눈이 밝아 자기들의 몸이 벗은 줄을 알고 무화과 나무 잎을 엮어 치마를 하였더라 [8] 그들이 날이 서늘할 때에 동산에 거니시는 여호와 하나님의 음성을 듣고 아담과 그 아내가 여호와 하나님의 낯을 피하여 동산 나무 사이에 숨은지라 [9] 여호와 하나님이 아담을 부르시며 그에게 이르시되 네가 어디 있느냐 [10] 가로되 내가 동산에서 하나님의 소리를 듣고 내가 벗었으므로 두려워하여 숨었나이다

(창 3:6-10, NKJV) [6] So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. [7] Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. [8] And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. [9] Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" [10] So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself."

 

(2) 단 5

(단 5:5-7, 개역) [5] 그 때에 사람의 손가락이 나타나서 왕궁 촛대 맞은편 분벽에 글자를 쓰는데 왕이 그 글자 쓰는 손가락을 본지라 [6] 이에 왕의 즐기던 빛이 변하고 그 생각이 번민하여 넓적다리 마디가 녹는 듯하고 그 무릎이 서로 부딪힌지라 [7] 왕이 크게 소리하여 술객과 갈대아 술사와 점장이를 불러 오게 하고 바벨론 박사들에게 일러 가로되 무론 누구든지 이 글자를 읽고 그 해석을 내게 보이면 자주옷을 입히고 금사슬로 그 목에 드리우고 그로 나라의 셋째 치리자를 삼으리라 하니라

(단 5:5-7, NKJV) [5] In the same hour the fingers of a man's hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. [6] Then the king's countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other. [7] The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spoke, saying to the wise men of Babylon, "Whoever reads this writing, and tells me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck; and he shall be the third ruler in the kingdom."

 

(3) 양심

(요 8:8-11, 개역) [8] 다시 몸을 굽히사 손가락으로 땅에 쓰시니 [9] 저희가 이 말씀을 듣고 양심의 가책을 받아 어른으로 시작하여 젊은이까지 하나씩 하나씩 나가고 오직 예수와 그 가운데 섰는 여자만 남았더라 [10] 예수께서 일어나사 여자 외에 아무도 없는 것을 보시고 이르시되 여자여 너를 고소하던 그들이 어디 있느냐 너를 정죄한 자가 없느냐 [11] 대답하되 주여 없나이다 예수께서 가라사대 나도 너를 정죄하지 아니하노니 가서 다시는 죄를 범치 말라 하시니라]

(요 8:8-11, NKJV) [8] And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. [9] Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. [10] When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" [11] She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."

 

(막 6:20, 개역) 헤롯이 요한을 의롭고 거룩한 사람으로 알고 두려워하여 보호하며 또 그의 말을 들을 때에 크게 번민을 느끼면서도 달게 들음이러라

(Mk 6:20, NKJV) for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

 

(4) 악한 동맹

(눅 23:11-12, 개역) [11] 헤롯이 그 군병들과 함께 예수를 업신여기며 희롱하고 빛난 옷을 입혀 빌라도에게 도로 보내니 [12] 헤롯과 빌라도가 전에는 원수이었으나 당일에 서로 친구가 되니라

(눅 23:11-12, NKJV) [11] Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate. [12] That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other.

 

(5) 헤로디아

(막 6:17-19, 개역) [17] 전에 헤롯이 자기가 동생 빌립의 아내 헤로디아에게 장가 든고로 이 여자를 위하여 사람을 보내어 요한을 잡아 옥에 가두었으니 [18] 이는 요한이 헤롯에게 말하되 동생의 아내를 취한 것이 옳지 않다 하였음이라 [19] 헤로디아가 요한을 원수로 여겨 죽이고자 하였으되 하지 못한 것은

(막 6:17-19, NKJV) [17] For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife; for he had married her. [18] For John had said to Herod, "It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife." [19] Therefore Herodias held it against him and wanted to kill him, but she could not;

 

(6) 세례요한이

(막 6:26, 개역) 왕이 심히 근심하나 자기의 맹세한 것과 그 앉은 자들을 인하여 저를 거절할 수 없는지라

(Mk 6:26, NKJV) And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he did not want to refuse her.

 

(마 27:19-26, 개역) [19] 총독이 재판 자리에 앉았을 때에 그 아내가 사람을 보내어 가로되 저 옳은 사람에게 아무 상관도 하지 마옵소서 오늘 꿈에 내가 그사람을 인하여 애를 많이 썼나이다 하더라 [20] 대제사장들과 장로들이 무리를 권하여 바라바를 달라 하게 하고 예수를 멸하자 하게 하였더니 [21] 총독이 대답하여 가로되 둘 중에 누구를 너희에게 놓아 주기를 원하느냐 가로되 바라바로소이다 [22] 빌라도가 가로되 그러면 그리스도라하는 예수를 내가 어떻게 하랴 저희가 다 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 [23] 빌라도가 가로되 어찜이뇨 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 저희가 더욱 소리질러 가로되 십자가에 못 박혀야 하겠나이다 하는지라 [24] 빌라도가 아무 효험도 없이 도리어 민란이 나려는 것을 보고 물을 가져다가 무리 앞에서 손을 씻으며 가로되 이 사람의 피에 대하여 나는 무죄하니 너희가 당하라 [25] 백성이 다 대답하여 가로되 그 피를 우리와 우리 자손에게 돌릴지어다 하거늘 [26] 이에 바라바는 저희에게 놓아주고 예수는 채찍질하고 십자가에 못 박히게 넘겨 주니라

[22] Pilate said to them, "What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?" They all said to him, "Let Him be crucified!" [23] Then the governor said, "Why, what evil has He done?" But they cried out all the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified!" [24] When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it." [25] And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children." [26] Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

 

(7) 진리에 굳게 서지 못함

(시 119:133, 개역) 나의 행보를 주의 말씀에 굳게 세우시고 아무 죄악이 나를 주장치 못하게 하소서

(Ps 119:133, NKJV) Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.

 

(골 2:6-7, 개역) [6] 그러므로 너희가 그리스도 예수를 주로 받았으니 그 안에서 행하되 [7] 그 안에 뿌리를 박으며 세움을 입어 교훈을 받은 대로 믿음에 굳게 서서 감사함을 넘치게 하라

(골 2:6-7, NKJV) [6] As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, [7] rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

 

(8) 핍박

(마 24:9-10, 개역) [9] 그 때에 사람들이 너희를 환난에 넘겨 주겠으며 너희를 죽이리니 너희가 내 이름을 위하여 모든 민족에게 미움을 받으리라 [10] 그 때에 많은 사람이 시험에 빠져 서로 잡아 주고 서로 미워하겠으며

(마 24:9-10, NKJV) [9] "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. [10] "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

 

(9) 순교당함

(막 6:26-29, 개역) [26] 왕이 심히 근심하나 자기의 맹세한 것과 그 앉은 자들을 인하여 저를 거절할 수 없는지라 [27] 왕이 곧 시위병 하나를 보내어 요한의 머리를 가져오라 명하니 그 사람이 나가 옥에서 요한을 목 베어 [28] 그 머리를 소반에 담아다가 여아에게 주니 여아가 이것을 그 어미에게 주니라 [29] 요한의 제자들이 듣고 와서 시체를 가져다가 장사하니라

(막 6:26-29, NKJV) [26] And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he did not want to refuse her. [27] Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought. And he went and beheaded him in prison, [28] brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. [29] When his disciples heard of it, they came and took away his corpse and laid it in a tomb.

 

(10) 그리스도의 심판대 앞에

(고후 5:10, 개역) 이는 우리가 다 반드시 그리스도의 심판대 앞에 드러나 각각 선악간에 그 몸으로 행한 것을 따라 받으려 함이라

(2Co 5:10, NKJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

 

(계 20:11-15, 개역) [11] 또 내가 크고 흰 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 자를 보니 땅과 하늘이 그 앞에서 피하여 간 데 없더라 [12] 또 내가 보니 죽은 자들이 무론대소하고 그 보좌 앞에 섰는데 책들이 펴 있고 또 다른 책이 펴졌으니 곧 생명책이라 죽은 자들이 자기 행위를 따라 책들에 기록된 대로 심판을 받으니 [13] 바다가 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주고 또 사망과 음부도 그 가운데서 죽은 자들을 내어주매 각 사람이 자기의 행위대로 심판을 받고 [14] 사망과 음부도 불못에 던지우니 이것은 둘째 사망 곧 불못이라 [15] 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던지우더라

(계 20:11-15, NKJV) [11] Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. [13] The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. [14] Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

 

3. 세례요한은 예수님을 증거하였습니다.

(1) 성령으로 세례주시는.분

(요 1:32-33, 개역) [32] 요한이 또 증거하여 가로되 내가 보매 성령이 비둘기 같이 하늘로서 내려와서 그의 위에 머물렀더라 [33] 나도 그를 알지 못하였으나 나를 보내어 물로 세례를 주라 하신 그이가 나에게 말씀하시되 성령이 내려서 누구 위에든지 머무는 것을 보거든 그가 곧 성령으로 세례를 주는 이인줄 알라 하셨기에

(요 1:32-33, NKJV) [32] And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. [33] "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'

 

(2) 하나님의 아들

(3) 예수님께 세례를 베풀음

(마 3:13-17, 개역) [13] 이 때에 예수께서 갈릴리로서 요단강에 이르러 요한에게 세례를 받으려 하신대 [14] 요한이 말려 가로되 내가 당신에게 세례를 받아야 할 터인데 당신이 내게로 오시나이까 [15] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 이제 허락하라 우리가 이와 같이 하여 모든 의를 이루는 것이 합당하니라 하신대 이에 요한이 허락하는지라 [16] 예수께서 세례를 받으시고 곧 물에서 올라오실새 하늘이 열리고 하나님의 성령이 비둘기 같이 내려 자기 위에 임하심을 보시더니 [17] 하늘로서 소리가 있어 말씀하시되 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하시니라

(마 3:13-17, NKJV) [13] Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. [14] And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" [15] But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him. [16] When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. [17] And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

 

(4) 메시야

(요 1:26-28, 개역) [26] 요한이 대답하되 나는 물로 세례를 주거니와 너희 가운데 너희가 알지 못하는 한 사람이 섰으니 [27] 곧 내 뒤에 오시는 그이라 나는 그의 신들메 풀기도 감당치 못하겠노라 하더라 [28] 이 일은 요한의 세례 주던 곳 요단 강 건너편 베다니에서 된 일이니라

(요 1:26-28, NKJV) [26] John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. [27] "It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose." [28] These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

 

(5) 세상죄를 지고 가는 하나님의 어린양

(요 1:29-31, 개역) [29] 이튿날 요한이 예수께서 자기에게 나아오심을 보고 가로되 보라 세상 죄를 지고 가는 하나님의 어린 양이로다 [30] 내가 전에 말하기를 내 뒤에 오는 사람이 있는데 나보다 앞선 것은 그가 나보다 먼저 계심이라 한 것이 이 사람을 가리킴이라 [31] 나도 그를 알지 못하였으나 내가 와서 물로 세례를 주는 것은 그를 이스라엘에게 나타내려 함이라 하니라

(요 1:29-31, NKJV) [29] The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! [30] "This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.' [31] "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water."

 

(6) 알곡과 쭉정이를 나누시는 분

(마 3:11-12, 개역) [11] 나는 너희로 회개케 하기 위하여 물로 세례를 주거니와 내 뒤에 오시는 이는 나보다 능력이 많으시니 나는 그의 신을 들기도 감당치 못하겠노라 그는 성령과 불로 너희에게 세례를 주실 것이요 [12] 손에 키를 들고 자기의 타작 마당을 정하게 하사 알곡은 모아 곡간에 들이고 쭉정이는 꺼지지 않는 불에 태우시리라

(마 3:11-12, NKJV) [11] "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. [12] "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

 

(7) 나는 쇠하고

(요 3:29-32, 개역) [29] 신부를 취하는 자는 신랑이나 서서 신랑의 음성을 듣는 친구가 크게 기뻐하나니 나는 이러한 기쁨이 충만하였노라 [30] 그는 흥하여야 하겠고 나는 쇠하여야 하리라 하니라 [31] 위로부터 오시는 이는 만물 위에 계시고 땅에서 난 이는 땅에 속하여 땅에 속한 것을 말하느니라 하늘로서 오시는 이는 만물 위에 계시나니 [32] 그가 그 보고 들은 것을 증거하되 그의 증거를 받는 이가 없도다

(요 3:29-32, NKJV) [29] "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. [30] "He must increase, but I must decrease. [31] "He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. [32] "And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.

 

(8) 신들메도 풀기

(마 3:11, 개역) 나는 너희로 회개케 하기 위하여 물로 세례를 주거니와 내 뒤에 오시는 이는 나보다 능력이 많으시니 나는 그의 신을 들기도 감당치 못하겠노라 그는 성령과 불로 너희에게 세례를 주실 것이요

(9) 오실이가 당신입니까

(눅 7:19-20, NKJV) [19] And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?" [20] When the men had come to Him, they said, "John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, 'Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?'"

 

4. 세례요한은 회개하라 외쳤습니다.

(1) 의롭고 거룩한자

(막 6:20, 개역) 헤롯이 요한을 의롭고 거룩한 사람으로 알고 두려워하여 보호하며 또 그의 말을 들을 때에 크게 번민을 느끼면서도 달게 들음이러라

(Mk 6:20, NKJV) for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

 

(2) 눅 7:28

(눅 7:28, 개역) 내가 너희에게 말하노니 여자가 낳은 자 중에 요한보다 큰 이가 없도다 그러나 하나님의 나라에서는 극히 작은 자라도 저보다 크니라 하시니

(Lk 7:28, NKJV) "For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

 

(3) 회개하라 천국이

(마 3:1-3, 개역) [1] 그 때에 세례 요한이 이르러 유대 광야에서 전파하여 가로되 [2] 회개하라 천국이 가까웠느니라 하였으니 [3] 저는 선지자 이사야로 말씀하신 자라 일렀으되 광야에 외치는 자의 소리가 있어 가로되 너희는 주의 길을 예비하라 그의 첩경을 평탄케 하라 하였느니라

(마 3:1-3, NKJV) [1] In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, [2] and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" [3] For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying： "The voice of one crying in the wilderness： 'Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.'"

 

(4) 행 4.19

(행 3:19, 개역) 그러므로 너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라 이같이 하면 유쾌하게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요

(Ac 3:19, NKJV) "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

 

(5) 행 2:38

(행 2:38, 개역) 베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니

(Ac 2:38, NKJV) Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 

(6) 호세아

(호 14:1-5, 개역) [1] 이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오라 네가 불의함을 인하여 엎드러졌느니라 [2] 너는 말씀을 가지고 여호와께로 돌아와서 아뢰기를 모든 불의를 제하시고 선한 바를 받으소서 우리가 입술로 수송아지를 대신하여 주께 드리리이다 [3] 우리가 앗수르의 구원을 의지하지 아니하며 말을 타지 아니하며 다시는 우리의 손으로 지은 것을 향하여 너희는 우리 신이라 하지 아니하오리니 이는 고아가 주께로 말미암아 긍휼을 얻음이니이다 할지니라 [4] 내가 저희의 패역을 고치고 즐거이 저희를 사랑하리니 나의 진노가 저에게서 떠났음이니라 [5] 내가 이스라엘에게 이슬과 같으리니 저가 백합화 같이 피겠고 레바논 백향목 같이 뿌리가 박힐 것이라

(호 14:1-5, NKJV) [1] O Israel, return to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity; [2] Take words with you, And return to the LORD. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity; Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. [3] Assyria shall not save us, We will not ride on horses, Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, 'You are our gods.' For in You the fatherless finds mercy." [4] "I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him. [5] I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.

 

(7) 렘

(렘 4:3-4, 개역) [3] 나 여호와가 유다와 예루살렘 사람에게 이같이 이르노라 너희 묵은 땅을 갈고 가시덤불 속에 파종하지 말라 [4] 유다인과 예루살렘 거민들아 너희는 스스로 할례를 행하여 너희 마음 가죽을 베고 나 여호와께 속하라 그렇지 아니하면 너희 행악을 인하여 나의 분노가 불 같이 발하여 사르리니 그것을 끌 자가 없으리라

(렘 4:3-4, NKJV) [3] For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem： "Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns. [4] Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, And take away the foreskins of your hearts, You men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury come forth like fire, And burn so that no one can quench it, Because of the evil of your doings."

 

(8) 탕자

(눅 15:11-24, 개역) [11] 또 가라사대 어떤 사람이 두 아들이 있는데 [12] 그 둘째가 아비에게 말하되 아버지여 재산 중에서 내게 돌아올 분깃을 내게 주소서 하는지라 아비가 그 살림을 각각 나눠 주었더니 [13] 그 후 며칠이 못되어 둘째 아들이 재산을 다 모아 가지고 먼 나라에 가 거기서 허랑방탕하여 그 재산을 허비하더니 [14] 다 없이한 후 그 나라에 크게 흉년이 들어 저가 비로소 궁핍한지라 [15] 가서 그 나라 백성 중 하나에게 붙여 사니 그가 저를 들로 보내어 돼지를 치게 하였는데 [16] 저가 돼지 먹는 쥐엄 열매로 배를 채우고자 하되 주는 자가 없는지라 [17] 이에 스스로 돌이켜 가로되 내 아버지에게는 양식이 풍족한 품꾼이 얼마나 많은고 나는 여기서 주려 죽는구나 [18] 내가 일어나 아버지께 가서 이르기를 아버지여 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 얻었사오니 [19] 지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당치 못하겠나이다 나를 품꾼의 하나로 보소서 하리라 하고 [20] 이에 일어나서 아버지께 돌아 가니라 아직도 상거가 먼데 아버지가 저를 보고 측은히 여겨 달려가 목을 안고 입을 맞추니 [21] 아들이 가로되 아버지여 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 얻었사오니 지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당치 못하겠나이다 하나 [22] 아버지는 종들에게 이르되 제일 좋은 옷을 내어다가 입히고 손에 가락지를 끼우고 발에 신을 신기라 [23] 그리고 살진 송아지를 끌어다가 잡으라 우리가 먹고 즐기자 [24] 이 내 아들은 죽었다가 다시 살아났으며 내가 잃었다가 다시 얻었노라 하니 저희가 즐거워하더라

[15] "Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. [17] "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. [22] "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. [23] 'And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; [24] 'for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.

[9] And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; [10] "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

(사 55:1-7, 개역) [1] 너희 목마른 자들아 물로 나아오라 돈 없는 자도 오라 너희는 와서 사 먹되 돈 없이 값 없이 와서 포도주와 젖을 사라 [2] 너희가 어찌하여 양식 아닌 것을 위하여 은을 달아 주며 배부르게 못할 것을 위하여 수고하느냐 나를 청종하라 그리하면 너희가 좋은 것을 먹을 것이며 너희 마음이 기름진 것으로 즐거움을 얻으리라 [3] 너희는 귀를 기울이고 내게 나아와 들으라 그리하면 너희 영혼이 살리라 내가 너희에게 영원한 언약을 세우리니 곧 다윗에게 허락한 확실한 은혜니라 [4] 내가 그를 만민에게 증거로 세웠고 만민의 인도자와 명령자를 삼았었나니 [5] 네가 알지 못하는 나라를 부를 것이며 너를 알지 못하는 나라가 네게 달려올 것은 나 여호와 네 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 거룩한 자를 인함이니라 내가 너를 영화롭게 하였느니라 [6] 너희는 여호와를 만날 만한 때에 찾으라 가까이 계실 때에 그를 부르라 [7] 악인은 그 길을, 불의한 자는 그 생각을 버리고 여호와께로 돌아오라 그리하면 그가 긍휼히 여기시리라 우리 하나님께로 나아오라 그가 널리 용서하시리라

(사 55:1-7, NKJV) [1] "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. [2] Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. [3] Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you--The sure mercies of David. [4] Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people. [5] Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you." [6] Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

 

(11) 요 16

(요 16:7-11, 개역) [7] 그러하나 내가 너희에게 실상을 말하노니 내가 떠나가는 것이 너희에게 유익이라 내가 떠나가지 아니하면 보혜사가 너희에게로 오시지 아니할 것이요 가면 내가 그를 너희에게로 보내리니 [8] 그가 와서 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하시리라 [9] 죄에 대하여라 함은 저희가 나를 믿지 아니함이요 [10] 의에 대하여라 함은 내가 아버지께로 가니 너희가 다시 나를 보지 못함이요 [11] 심판에 대하여라 함은 이 세상 임금이 심판을 받았음이니라

(요 16:7-11, NKJV) [7] "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. [8] "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment： [9] "of sin, because they do not believe in Me; [10] "of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; [11] "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

 

(12) 피

(요 1:7-9, 개역) [7] 저가 증거하러 왔으니 곧 빛에 대하여 증거하고 모든 사람으로 자기를 인하여 믿게하려 함이라 [8] 그는 이 빛이 아니요 이 빛에 대하여 증거하러 온 자라 [9] 참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람에게 비취는 빛이 있었나니

(요 1:7-9, NKJV) [7] This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. [8] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. [9] That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

 

(13) 성령님의 새롭게 하심

(딛 3:2-7, 개역) [2] 아무도 훼방하지 말며 다투지 말며 관용하며 범사에 온유함을 모든 사람에게 나타낼 것을 기억하게 하라 [3] 우리도 전에는 어리석은 자요 순종치 아니한 자요 속은 자요 각색 정욕과 행락에 종 노릇 한 자요 악독과 투기로 지낸 자요 가증스러운 자요 피차 미워한 자이었으나 [4] 우리 구주 하나님의 자비와 사람 사랑하심을 나타내실 때에 [5] 우리를 구원하시되 우리의 행한 바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고 오직 그의 긍휼하심을 좇아 중생의 씻음과 성령의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨나니 [6] 성령을 우리 구주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 풍성히 부어 주사 [7] 우리로 저의 은혜를 힘입어 의롭다 하심을 얻어 영생의 소망을 따라 후사가 되게 하려 하심이라

(딛 3:2-7, NKJV) [2] to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. [3] For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. [4] But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, [5] not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, [6] whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, [7] that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

 

5 . 세례요한은 악을 악하다 외쳤습니다.

(1) 공의가 하수같이.

(암 5:21-27, 개역) [21] 내가 너희 절기를 미워하여 멸시하며 너희 성회들을 기뻐하지 아니하나니 [22] 너희가 내게 번제나 소제를 드릴지라도 내가 받지 아니할 것이요 너희 살진 희생의 화목제도 내가 돌아보지 아니하리라 [23] 네 노랫소리를 내 앞에서 그칠지어다 네 비파 소리도 내가 듣지 아니하리라 [24] 오직 공법을 물 같이, 정의를 하수 같이 흘릴지로다 [25] 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 사십 년 동안 광야에서 희생과 소제물을 내게 드렸느냐 [26] 너희가 너희 왕 식굿과 너희 우상 기윤 곧 너희가 너희를 위하여 만들어서 신으로 삼은 별 형상을 지고 가리라 [27] 내가 너희를 다메섹 밖으로 사로잡혀 가게 하리라 이는 만군의 하나님이라 일컫는 여호와의 말씀이니라

(암 5:21-27, NKJV) [21] "I hate, I despise your feast days, And I do not savor your sacred assemblies. [22] Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, Nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. [23] Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. [24] But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream. [25] "Did you offer Me sacrifices and offerings In the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? [26] You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves. [27] Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus," Says the LORD, whose name is the God of hosts.

 

(2) 선을 악하다 악을 선하다.

댈(사 5:19-20, 개역) [19] 그들이 이르기를 그는 그 일을 속속히 이루어 우리로 보게 할 것이며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자는 그 도모를 속히 임하게 하여 우리로 알게 할 것이라 하는도다 [20] 악을 선하다 하며 선을 악하다 하며 흑암으로 광명을 삼으며 광명으로 흑암을 삼으며 쓴 것으로 단 것을 삼으며 단 것으로 쓴 것을 삼는 그들은 화 있을진저

(사 5:19-20, NKJV) [19] That say, "Let Him make speed and hasten His work, That we may see it; And let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, That we may know it." [20] Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

 

(3) 악한시대

(왕상 16:30-32, 개역) [30] 오므리의 아들 아합이 그 전의 모든 사람보다 여호와 보시기에 악을 더욱 행하여 [31] 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄를 따라 행하는 것을 오히려 가볍게 여기며 시돈 사람의 왕 엣바알의 딸 이세벨로 아내를 삼고 가서 바알을 섬겨 숭배하고 [32] 사마리아에 건축한 바알의 사당 속에 바알을 위하여 단을 쌓으며

(왕상 16:30-32, NKJV) [30] Now Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD, more than all who were before him. [31] And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal and worshiped him. [32] Then he set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

 

(4) 엘리야

(왕상 18:20-24, 개역) [20] 아합이 이에 이스라엘 모든 자손에게로 보내어 선지자들을 갈멜 산으로 모으니라 [21] 엘리야가 모든 백성에게 가까이 나아가 이르되 너희가 어느 때까지 두 사이에서 머뭇머뭇 하려느냐 여호와가 만일 하나님이면 그를 좇고 바알이 만일 하나님이면 그를 좇을지니라 하니 백성이 한 말도 대답지 아니하는지라 [22] 엘리야가 백성에게 이르되 여호와의 선지자는 나만 홀로 남았으나 바알의 선지자는 사백오십 인이로다 [23] 그런즉 두 송아지를 우리에게 가져오게 하고 저희는 한 송아지를 택하여 각을 떠서 나무 위에 놓고 불은 놓지 말며 나도 한 송아지를 잡아 나무 위에 놓고 불은 놓지 말고 [24] 너희는 너희 신의 이름을 부르라 나는 여호와의 이름을 부르리니 이에 불로 응답하는 신 그가 하나님이니라 백성이 다 대답하되 그 말이 옳도다

(왕상 18:20-24, NKJV) [20] So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. [21] And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word. [22] Then Elijah said to the people, "I alone am left a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. [23] "Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. [24] "Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD; and the God who answers by fire, He is God." So all the people answered and said, "It is well spoken."

 

(5) 이시대의 선지자는

(마 24:45-46, 개역) [45] 충성되고 지혜 있는 종이 되어 주인에게 그 집 사람들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나눠 줄 자가 누구뇨 [46] 주인이 올 때에 그 종의 이렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종이 복이 있으리로다

(마 24:45-46, NKJV) [45] "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? [46] "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

 

(6) 딤후 3

(딤후 3:1-5, 개역) [1] 네가 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르리니 [2] 사람들은 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자긍하며 교만하며 훼방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사치 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며 [3] 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 참소하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아 아니하며 [4] 배반하여 팔며 조급하며 자고하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 [5] 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하는 자니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라

(딤후 3:1-5, NKJV) [1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come： [2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, [4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

 

(7) 절대진리 무너짐.

(골 2:8-10, 개역) [8] 누가 철학과 헛된 속임수로 너희를 노략할까 주의하라 이것이 사람의 유전과 세상의 초등학문을 좇음이요 그리스도를 좇음이 아니니라 [9] 그 안에는 신성의 모든 충만이 육체로 거하시고 [10] 너희도 그 안에서 충만하여졌으니 그는 모든 정사와 권세의 머리시라

(골 2:8-10, NKJV) [8] Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. [9] For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; [10] and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

 

(8) 진리의 말씀대로 됨

(계 10:7, 개역) 일곱째 천사가 소리 내는 날 그 나팔을 불게 될 때에 하나님의 비밀이 그 종 선지자들에게 전하신 복음과 같이 이루리라

(Rv 10:7, NKJV) but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

 

(롬 2:1-2, 개역) [1] 그러므로 남을 판단하는 사람아 무론 누구든지 네가 핑계치 못할 것은 남을 판단하는 것으로 네가 너를 정죄함이니 판단하는 네가 같은 일을 행함이니라 [2] 이런 일을 행하는 자에게 하나님의 판단이 진리대로 되는 줄 우리가 아노라

(롬 2:1-2, NKJV) [1] Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. [2] But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

 

(9) 공의의 하나님

(신 32:4, 개역) 그는 반석이시니 그 공덕이 완전하고 그 모든 길이 공평하며 진실무망하신 하나님이시니 공의로우시고 정직하시도다

(Dt 32:4, NKJV) He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

 

(렘 11:20, 개역) 공의로 판단하시며 사람의 심장을 감찰하시는 만군의 여호와여 나의 원정을 주께 아뢰었사오니 그들에게 대한 주의 보수를 내가 보리이다 하였더니

(Jr 11:20, NKJV) But, O LORD of hosts, You who judge righteously, Testing the mind and the heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You I have revealed my cause.

 

(10) 타협

(롬 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제사로 드리라 이는 너희의 드릴 영적 예배니라 [2] 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 [3] 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 중 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라

(롬 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

 

(11) 가감하지 말라.

(계 22:18-19, 개역) [18] 내가 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 듣는 각인에게 증거하노니 만일 누구든지 이것들 외에 더하면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 터이요 [19] 만일 누구든지 이 책의 예언의 말씀에서 제하여 버리면 하나님이 이 책에 기록된 생명나무와 및 거룩한 성에 참예함을 제하여 버리시리라

(계 22:18-19, NKJV) [18] For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book： If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; [19] and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

 

(12) 인본주의

(창 11:1-5, 개역) [1] 온 땅의 구음이 하나이요 언어가 하나이었더라 [2] 이에 그들이 동방으로 옮기다가 시날 평지를 만나 거기 거하고 [3] 서로 말하되 자, 벽돌을 만들어 견고히 굽자 하고 이에 벽돌로 돌을 대신하며 역청으로 진흙을 대신하고 [4] 또 말하되 자, 성과 대를 쌓아 대 꼭대기를 하늘에 닿게 하여 우리 이름을 내고 온 지면에 흩어짐을 면하자 하였더니 [5] 여호와께서 인생들의 쌓는 성과 대를 보시려고 강림하셨더라

(창 11:1-5, NKJV) [1] Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. [2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. [3] Then they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. [4] And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth." [5] But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

 

(13) 자유주의

(계 2:20-21, 개역) [20] 그러나 네게 책망할 일이 있노라 자칭 선지자라 하는 여자 이세벨을 네가 용납함이니 그가 내 종들을 가르쳐 꾀어 행음하게 하고 우상의 제물을 먹게 하는도다 [21] 또 내가 그에게 회개할 기회를 주었으되 그 음행을 회개하고자 아니하는도다

(계 2:20-21, NKJV) [20] "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. [21] "And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

 

(14) 순교당함

(막 6:28-29, 개역) [28] 그 머리를 소반에 담아다가 여아에게 주니 여아가 이것을 그 어미에게 주니라 [29] 요한의 제자들이 듣고 와서 시체를 가져다가 장사하니라

(막 6:28-29, NKJV) [28] brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother. [29] When his disciples heard of it, they came and took away his corpse and laid it in a tomb.

 

(15) 예수님도 순교당하심

(눅 23:44-49, 개역) [44] 때가 제육시쯤 되어 해가 빛을 잃고 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제구시까지 계속하며 [45] 성소의 휘장이 한가운데가 찢어지더라 [46] 예수께서 큰 소리로 불러 가라사대 아버지여 내 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다 하고 이 말씀을 하신 후 운명하시다 [47] 백부장이 그 된 일을 보고 하나님께 영광을 돌려 가로되 이 사람은 정녕 의인이었도다 하고 [48] 이를 구경하러 모인 무리도 그 된 일을 보고 다 가슴을 두드리며 돌아가고 [49] 예수의 아는 자들과 및 갈릴리로부터 따라온 여자들도 다 멀리 서서 이 일을 보니라

(눅 23:44-49, NKJV) [44] Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. [45] Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. [46] And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, "Father, 'into Your hands I commit My spirit.'" Having said this, He breathed His last. [47] So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!" [48] And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned. [49] But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.

 

6. 세례요한은 구약의 마지막 선지자였습니다.

(1) 나단

(삼하 7:16-17, 개역) [16] 네 집과 네 나라가 내 앞에서 영원히 보전되고 네 위가 영원히 견고하리라 하셨다 하라 [17] 나단이 이 모든 말씀과 이 모든 묵시대로 다윗에게 고하니라

(삼하 7:16-17, NKJV) [16] "And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever."'" [17] According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

 

(삼하 12:7-8, 개역) [7] 나단이 다윗에게 이르되 당신이 그 사람이라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이처럼 이르시기를 내가 너로 이스라엘 왕을 삼기 위하여 네게 기름을 붓고 너를 사울의 손에서 구원하고 [8] 네 주인의 집을 네게 주고 네 주인의 처들을 네 품에 두고 이스라엘과 유다 족속을 네게 맡겼느니라 만일 그것이 부족하였을 것 같으면 내가 네게 이것 저것을 더 주었으리라

(삼하 12:7-8, NKJV) [7] Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel： 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. [8] 'I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more!

 

(2) 엘리야

(왕상 17:1-5, NKJV) [1] And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word." [2] Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, [3] "Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. [4] "And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there." [5] So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.

 

(3) 이사야

(사 1:1-7, 개역) [1] 유다 왕 웃시야와 요담과 아하스와 히스기야 시대에 아모스의 아들 이사야가 유다와 예루살렘에 대하여 본 이상이라 [2] 하늘이여 들으라 땅이여 귀를 기울이라 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 내가 자식을 양육하였거늘 그들이 나를 거역하였도다 [3] 소는 그 임자를 알고 나귀는 주인의 구유를 알건마는 이스라엘은 알지 못하고 나의 백성은 깨닫지 못하는도다 하셨도다 [4] 슬프다 범죄한 나라요 허물진 백성이요 행악의 종자요 행위가 부패한 자식이로다 그들이 여호와를 버리며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자를 만홀히 여겨 멀리하고 물러갔도다 [5] 너희가 어찌하여 매를 더 맞으려고 더욱 더욱 패역하느냐 온 머리는 병들었고 온 마음은 피곤하였으며 [6] 발바닥에서 머리까지 성한 곳이 없이 상한 것과 터진 것과 새로 맞은 흔적뿐이어늘 그것을 짜며 싸매며 기름으로 유하게 함을 받지 못하였도다 [7] 너희 땅은 황무하였고 너희 성읍들은 불에 탔고 너희 토지는 너희 목전에 이방인에게 삼키웠으며 이방인에게 파괴됨 같이 황무하였고

(사 1:1-7, NKJV) [1] The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. [2] Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the LORD has spoken： "I have nourished and brought up children, And they have rebelled against Me; [3] The ox knows its owner And the donkey its master's crib; But Israel does not know, My people do not consider." [4] Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the LORD, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward. [5] Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick, And the whole heart faints. [6] From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment. [7] Your country is desolate, Your cities are burned with fire; Strangers devour your land in your presence; And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

 

(4) 예레미야

(렘 1:1-9, 개역) [1] 베냐민 땅 아나돗의 제사장 중 힐기야의 아들 예레미야의 말이라 [2] 아몬의 아들 유다 왕 요시야의 다스린지 십삼 년에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하였고 [3] 요시야의 아들 유다 왕 여호야김 시대부터 요시야의 아들 유다 왕 시드기야의 제십일년 말까지 임하니라 이 해 오 월에 예루살렘이 사로잡히니라 [4] 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하니라 이르시되 [5] 내가 너를 복중에 짓기 전에 너를 알았고 네가 태에서 나오기 전에 너를 구별하였고 너를 열방의 선지자로 세웠노라 하시기로 [6] 내가 가로되 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 보소서 나는 아이라 말할 줄을 알지 못하나이다 [7] 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 아이라 하지 말고 내가 너를 누구에게 보내든지 너는 가며 내가 네게 무엇을 명하든지 너는 말할지니라 [8] 너는 그들을 인하여 두려워 말라 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구원하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라 하시고 [9] 여호와께서 그 손을 내밀어 내 입에 대시며 내게 이르시되 보라 내가 내 말을 네 입에 두었노라

[8] Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the LORD. [9] Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me： "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

 

(5) 에스겔

(겔 1:1-5, 개역) [1] 제삼십년 사월 오일에 내가 그발 강 가 사로잡힌 자 중에 있더니 하늘이 열리며 하나님의 이상을 내게 보이시니 [2] 여호야긴 왕의 사로잡힌지 오년 그 달 오일이라 [3] 갈대아 땅 그발 강 가에서 여호와의 말씀이 부시의 아들 제사장 나 에스겔에게 특별히 임하고 여호와의 권능이 내 위에 있으니라 [4] 내가 보니 북방에서부터 폭풍과 큰 구름이 오는데 그 속에서 불이 번쩍번쩍하여 빛이 그 사면에 비취며 그 불 가운데 단쇠 같은 것이 나타나 보이고 [5] 그 속에서 네 생물의 형상이 나타나는데 그 모양이 이러하니 사람의 형상이라

(겔 1:1-5, NKJV) [1] Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. [2] On the fifth day of the month, which was in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity, [3] the word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was upon him there. [4] Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. [5] Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance： they had the likeness of a man.

 

(6) 다니엘

(단 9:1-7, 개역) [1] 메대 족속 아하수에로의 아들 다리오가 갈대아 나라 왕으로 세움을 입던 원년 [2] 곧 그 통치 원년에 나 다니엘이 서책으로 말미암아 여호와의 말씀이 선지자 예레미야에게 임하여 고하신 그 년수를 깨달았나니 곧 예루살렘의 황무함이 칠십 년만에 마치리라 하신 것이니라 [3] 내가 금식하며 베옷을 입고 재를 무릅쓰고 주 하나님께 기도하며 간구하기를 결심하고 [4] 내 하나님 여호와께 기도하며 자복하여 이르기를 크시고 두려워할 주 하나님, 주를 사랑하고 주의 계명을 지키는 자를 위하여 언약을 지키시고 그에게 인자를 베푸시는 자시여 [5] 우리는 이미 범죄하여 패역하며 행악하며 반역하여 주의 법도와 규례를 떠났사오며 [6] 우리가 또 주의 종 선지자들이 주의 이름으로 우리의 열왕과 우리의 방백과 열조와 온 국민에게 말씀한 것을 듣지 아니하였나이다 [7] 주여 공의는 주께로 돌아가고 수욕은 우리 얼굴로 돌아옴이 오늘날과 같아서 유다 사람들과 예루살렘 거민들과 이스라엘이 가까운 데 있는 자나 먼 데 있는 자가 다 주께서 쫓아 보내신 각국에서 수욕을 입었사오니 이는 그들이 주께 죄를 범하였음이니이다

(단 9:1-7, NKJV) [1] In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans-- [2] in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. [3] Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. [4] And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, "O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, [5] "we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. [6] "Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. [7] "O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day--to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.

 

(7) 호세아

(호 1:1-5, 개역) [1] 웃시야와 요담과 아하스와 히스기야가 이어 유다 왕이 된 시대 곧 요아스의 아들 여로보암이 이스라엘 왕이 된 시대에 브에리의 아들 호세아에게 임한 여호와의 말씀이라 [2] 여호와께서 비로소 호세아로 말씀하시니라 여호와께서 호세아에게 이르시되 너는 가서 음란한 아내를 취하여 음란한 자식들을 낳으라 이 나라가 여호와를 떠나 크게 행음함이니라 [3] 이에 저가 가서 디블라임의 딸 고멜을 취하였더니 저가 잉태하여 아들을 낳으매 [4] 여호와께서 호세아에게 이르시되 그 이름을 이스르엘이라 하라 조금 후에 내가 이스르엘의 피를 예후의 집에 갚으며 이스라엘 족속의 나라를 폐할 것임이니라 [5] 그 날에 내가 이스르엘 골짜기에서 이스라엘의 활을 꺾으리라 하시니라

(호 1:1-5, NKJV) [1] The word of the LORD that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel. [2] When the LORD began to speak by Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea： "Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the LORD." (8) 요엘

(욜 2:28-32, 개역) [28] 그 후에 내가 내 신을 만민에게 부어 주리니 너희 자녀들이 장래일을 말할 것이며 너희 늙은이는 꿈을 꾸며 너희 젊은이는 이상을 볼 것이며 [29] 그 때에 내가 또 내 신으로 남종과 여종에게 부어 줄 것이며 [30] 내가 이적을 하늘과 땅에 베풀리니 곧 피와 불과 연기 기둥이라 [31] 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 어두워지고 달이 핏빛 같이 변하려니와 [32] 누구든지 여호와의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리니 이는 나 여호와의 말대로 시온 산과 예루살렘에서 피할 자가 있을 것임이요 남은 자 중에 나 여호와의 부름을 받을 자가 있을 것임이니라

(욜 2:28-32, NKJV) [28] "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. [29] And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. [30] "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth： Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. (9) 스가랴

(슥 14:1-7, 개역) [1] 여호와의 날이 이르리라 그 날에 네 재물이 약탈되어 너의 중에서 나누이리라 [2] 내가 열국을 모아 예루살렘과 싸우게 하리니 성읍이 함락되며 가옥이 약탈되며 부녀가 욕을 보며 성읍 백성이 절반이나 사로잡혀 가려니와 남은 백성은 성읍에서 끊쳐지지 아니하리라 [3] 그 때에 여호와께서 나가사 그 열국을 치시되 이왕 전쟁 날에 싸운 것 같이 하시리라 [4] 그 날에 그의 발이 예루살렘 앞 곧 동편 감람 산에 서실 것이요 감람 산은 그 한가운데가 동서로 갈라져 매우 큰 골짜기가 되어서 산 절반은 북으로, 절반은 남으로 옮기고 [5] 그 산 골짜기는 아셀까지 미칠지라 너희가 그의 산 골짜기로 도망하되 유다 왕 웃시야 때에 지진을 피하여 도망하던 것 같이 하리라 나의 하나님 여호와께서 임하실 것이요 모든 거룩한 자가 주와 함께 하리라 [6] 그 날에는 빛이 없겠고 광명한 자들이 떠날 것이라 [7] 여호와의 아시는 한 날이 있으리니 낮도 아니요 밤도 아니라 어두워 갈 때에 빛이 있으리로다

(슥 14:1-7, NKJV) [1] Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. [2] For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. [3] Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. [4] And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south. [5] Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. [7] It shall be one day Which is known to the LORD--Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.

 

(10) 말라기

(말 4:1-6, 개역) [1] 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 보라 극렬한 풀무불 같은 날이 이르리니 교만한 자와 악을 행하는 자는 다 초개 같을 것이라 그 이르는 날이 그들을 살라 그 뿌리와 가지를 남기지 아니할 것이로되 [2] 내 이름을 경외하는 너희에게는 의로운 해가 떠올라서 치료하는 광선을 발하리니 너희가 나가서 외양간에서 나온 송아지 같이 뛰리라 [3] 또 너희가 악인을 밟을 것이니 그들이 나의 정한 날에 너희 발바닥 밑에 재와 같으리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 [4] 너희는 내가 호렙에서 온 이스라엘을 위하여 내 종 모세에게 명한 법 곧 율례와 법도를 기억하라 [5] 보라 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 선지 엘리야를 너희에게 보내리니 [6] 그가 아비의 마음을 자녀에게로 돌이키게 하고 자녀들의 마음을 그들의 아비에게로 돌이키게 하리라 돌이키지 아니하면 두렵건대 내가 와서 저주로 그 땅을 칠까 하노라 하시니라

(말 4:1-6, NKJV) [1] "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the LORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch. [2] But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. [3] You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the LORD of hosts. [5] Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. [6] And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."

 

(11) 핍박과 환난을 받음

(렘 38:6-10, 개역) [6] 그들이 예레미야를 취하여 시위대 뜰에 있는 왕의 아들 말기야의 구덩이에 던져 넣을 때에 예레미야를 줄로 달아내리웠는데 그 구덩이에는 물이 없고 진흙뿐이므로 예레미야가 진흙 중에 빠졌더라 [7] 왕궁 환관 구스인 에벳멜렉이 그들의 예레미야를 구덩이에 던져넣었음을 들으니라 때에 왕이 베냐민 문에 앉았더니 [8] 에벳멜렉이 왕궁에서 나와 왕께 고하여 가로되 [9] 내 주 왕이여 저 사람들이 선지자 예레미야에게 행한 모든 일은 악하니이다 성 중에 떡이 떨어졌거늘 그들이 그를 구덩이에 던져 넣었으니 그가 거기서 주려 죽으리이다 [10] 왕이 구스인 에벳멜렉에게 명하여 가로되 너는 여기서 삼십 명을 데리고 가서 선지자 예레미야의 죽기 전에 그를 구덩이에서 끌어내라

(렘 38:6-10, NKJV) [6] So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the king's son, which was in the court of the prison, and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire. So Jeremiah sank in the mire. [7] Now Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs, who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon. When the king was sitting at the Gate of Benjamin, [8] Ebed-Melech went out of the king's house and spoke to the king, saying： [9] "My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon, and he is likely to die from hunger in the place where he is. For there is no more bread in the city." [10] Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, "Take from here thirty men with you, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon before he dies."

 

(12) 주의 길을 평탄케 하라.

(마 3:1-5, 개역) [1] 그 때에 세례 요한이 이르러 유대 광야에서 전파하여 가로되 [2] 회개하라 천국이 가까웠느니라 하였으니 [3] 저는 선지자 이사야로 말씀하신 자라 일렀으되 광야에 외치는 자의 소리가 있어 가로되 너희는 주의 길을 예비하라 그의 첩경을 평탄케 하라 하였느니라 [4] 이 요한은 약대 털옷을 입고 허리에 가죽 띠를 띠고 음식은 메뚜기와 석청이었더라 [5] 이 때에 예루살렘과 온 유대와 요단 강 사방에서 다 그에게 나아와

(마 3:1-5, NKJV) [1] In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, [2] and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" [3] For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying： "The voice of one crying in the wilderness： 'Prepare the way of the LORD; Make His paths straight.'" [4] And John himself was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. 7. 세례요한은 예수님 재림전에 두증인의 예표입니다.

(1) 예수님은 대 예언자.

(마 24:1-7, 개역) [1] 예수께서 성전에서 나와서 가실 때에 제자들이 성전 건물들을 가리켜 보이려고 나아오니 [2] 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 이 모든 것을 보지 못하느냐 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 다 무너뜨리우리라 [3] 예수께서 감람 산 위에 앉으셨을 때에 제자들이 종용히 와서 가로되 우리에게 이르소서 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 또 주의 임하심과 세상 끝에는 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까 [4] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 사람의 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 [5] 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 나는 그리스도라 하여 많은 사람을 미혹케 하리라 [6] 난리와 난리 소문을 듣겠으나 너희는 삼가 두려워 말라 이런 일이 있어야 하되 끝은 아직 아니니라 [7] 민족이 민족을, 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고 처처에 기근과 지진이 있으리니

(마 24:1-7, NKJV) [1] Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. [2] And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down." [3] Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" [4] And Jesus answered and said to them： "Take heed that no one deceives you. [5] "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. [6] "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

 

(2) 반드시 다시오실 예수님.

(계 1:7, 개역) 볼지어다 구름을 타고 오시리라 각인의 눈이 그를 보겠고 그를 찌른 자들도 볼 터이요 땅에 있는 모든 족속이 그를 인하여 애곡하리니 그러하리라 아멘

(Rv 1:7, NKJV) Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

 

(계 22:12, 개역) 보라 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그의 일한 대로 갚아 주리라

(Rv 22:12, NKJV) "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

 

(3) 징조들

(마 24:3-14, 개역) [3] 예수께서 감람 산 위에 앉으셨을 때에 제자들이 종용히 와서 가로되 우리에게 이르소서 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 또 주의 임하심과 세상 끝에는 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까 [4] 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 너희가 사람의 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 [5] 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 나는 그리스도라 하여 많은 사람을 미혹케 하리라 [6] 난리와 난리 소문을 듣겠으나 너희는 삼가 두려워 말라 이런 일이 있어야 하되 끝은 아직 아니니라 [7] 민족이 민족을, 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고 처처에 기근과 지진이 있으리니 [8] 이 모든 것이 재난의 시작이니라 [9] 그 때에 사람들이 너희를 환난에 넘겨 주겠으며 너희를 죽이리니 너희가 내 이름을 위하여 모든 민족에게 미움을 받으리라 [10] 그 때에 많은 사람이 시험에 빠져 서로 잡아 주고 서로 미워하겠으며 [11] 거짓 선지자가 많이 일어나 많은 사람을 미혹하게 하겠으며 [12] 불법이 성하므로 많은 사람의 사랑이 식어지리라 [13] 그러나 끝까지 견디는 자는 구원을 얻으리라 [14] 이 천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증거되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라

(마 24:3-14, NKJV) [3] Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" [4] And Jesus answered and said to them： "Take heed that no one deceives you. [5] "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. [6] "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. [8] "All these are the beginning of sorrows. [9] "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. [10] "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. [11] "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. [12] "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. [13] "But he who endures to the end shall be saved. [14] "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

 

(4) 시대를 분별하라.

(눅 17:26-30, 개역) [26] 노아의 때에 된 것과 같이 인자의 때에도 그러하리라 [27] 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가더니 홍수가 나서 저희를 다 멸하였으며 [28] 또 롯의 때와 같으리니 사람들이 먹고 마시고 사고 팔고 심고 집을 짓더니 [29] 롯이 소돔에서 나가던 날에 하늘로서 불과 유황이 비오듯하여 저희를 멸하였느니라 [30] 인자의 나타나는 날에도 이러하리라

(눅 17:26-30, NKJV) [26] "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man： [27] "They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. [28] "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot： They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; [29] "but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. [30] "Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

 

(5) 깨어있으라.

(살전 5:1-10, 개역) [1] 형제들아 때와 시기에 관하여는 너희에게 쓸 것이 없음은 [2] 주의 날이 밤에 도적 같이 이를 줄을 너희 자신이 자세히 앎이라 [3] 저희가 평안하다, 안전하다 할 그 때에 잉태된 여자에게 해산 고통이 이름과 같이 멸망이 홀연히 저희에게 이르리니 결단코 피하지 못하리라 [4] 형제들아 너희는 어두움에 있지 아니하매 그 날이 도적 같이 너희에게 임하지 못하리니 [5] 너희는 다 빛의 아들이요 낮의 아들이라 우리가 밤이나 어두움에 속하지 아니하나니 [6] 그러므로 우리는 다른 이들과 같이 자지 말고 오직 깨어 근신할지라 [7] 자는 자들은 밤에 자고 취하는 자들은 밤에 취하되 [8] 우리는 낮에 속하였으니 근신하여 믿음과 사랑의 흉배를 붙이고 구원의 소망의 투구를 쓰자 [9] 하나님이 우리를 세우심은 노하심에 이르게 하심이 아니요 오직 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 구원을 얻게 하신 것이라 [10] 예수께서 우리를 위하여 죽으사 우리로 하여금 깨든지 자든지 자기와 함께 살게 하려 하셨느니라

(살전 5:1-10, NKJV) [1] But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. [2] For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. [3] For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. [4] But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. [5] You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. [7] For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. [8] But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. [9] For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

 

(6) 인내와 믿음이 여기 있다.

(계 14:9-12, 개역) [9] 또 다른 천사 곧 셋째가 그 뒤를 따라 큰 음성으로 가로되 만일 누구든지 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하고 이마에나 손에 표를 받으면 [10] 그도 하나님의 진노의 포도주를 마시리니 그 진노의 잔에 섞인 것이 없이 부은 포도주라 거룩한 천사들 앞과 어린 양 앞에서 불과 유황으로 고난을 받으리니 [11] 그 고난의 연기가 세세토록 올라가리로다 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하고 그 이름의 표를 받는 자는 누구든지 밤낮 쉼을 얻지 못하리라 하더라 [12] 성도들의 인내가 여기 있나니 저희는 하나님의 계명과 예수 믿음을 지키는 자니라

(계 14:9-12, NKJV) [9] Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, [10] "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. [11] "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." [12] Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

 

(7) 우상에게 절하지 말라.

(계 20:4, 개역) 또 내가 보좌들을 보니 거기 앉은 자들이 있어 심판하는 권세를 받았더라 또 내가 보니 예수의 증거와 하나님의 말씀을 인하여 목 베임을 받은 자의 영혼들과 또 짐승과 그의 우상에게 경배하지도 아니하고 이마와 손에 그의 표를 받지도 아니한 자들이 살아서 그리스도로 더불어 천 년 동안 왕 노릇 하니

(Rv 20:4, NKJV) And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

 

(8) 표를 받지 말라.

ꠑ(계 13:15-18, 개역) [15] 저가 권세를 받아 그 짐승의 우상에게 생기를 주어 그 짐승의 우상으로 말하게 하고 또 짐승의 우상에게 경배하지 아니하는 자는 몇이든지 다 죽이게 하더라 [16] 저가 모든 자 곧 작은 자나 큰 자나 부자나 빈궁한 자나 자유한 자나 종들로 그 오른손에나 이마에 표를 받게 하고 [17] 누구든지 이 표를 가진 자 외에는 매매를 못하게 하니 이 표는 곧 짐승의 이름이나 그 이름의 수라 [18] 지혜가 여기 있으니 총명 있는 자는 그 짐승의 수를 세어 보라 그 수는 사람의 수니 육백육십육이니라

(계 13:15-18, NKJV) [15] He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. [16] He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, [17] and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man： His number is 666.

 

(9) 성령의 인을 받으라

(엡 1:13-14, 개역) [13] 그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니 [14] 이는 우리의 기업에 보증이 되사 그 얻으신 것을 구속하시고 그의 영광을 찬미하게 하려 하심이라

(엡 1:13-14, NKJV) [13] In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, [14] who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

 

(10) 경건에 힘쓰라

(벧후 3:11-13, 개역) [11] 이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하뇨 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로 [12] 하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라 그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와 [13] 우리는 그의 약속대로 의의 거하는 바 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다

(벧후 3:11-13, NKJV) [11] Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, [12] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? [13] Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

 

(11) 새하늘 새땅을 바라보라.

(계 21:1-4, 개역) [1] 또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 [2] 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 예비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 [3] 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 가로되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 저희와 함께 거하시리니 저희는 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 저희와 함께 계셔서 [4] 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 씻기시매 다시 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라

(계 21:1-4, NKJV) [1] Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [2] Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. [4] "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

 

(12) 주님을 바라보라.

(히 12:1-3, 개역) [1] 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며 [2] 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는 즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라 [3] 너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 자를 생각하라

(히 12:1-3, NKJV) [1] Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
